INVEX – DIGITEX 2008, Výsta­viš­tě Brno 6. – 9.10.2008

V roku 2008 som na INVEX‑e dlho nepo­bu­dol. Boli tam pek­né veci, ale môj záu­jem o ne nebol prí­liš veľ­ký. Nesťa­žu­jem si, napo­kon som to čakal. Ak by ma však zau­ja­lo viac vecí, pote­ši­lo by ma to. Chys­tal som sa naj­mä do ​“foto­pa­vi­ló­nu” a prek­va­pi­lo ma množ­stvo fór a ​“foto­kur­zov”. Čakal som v ove­ľa väč­šom množ­stve expo­zí­cie veľ­kých firiem ako Canon, Nikon, Pen­tax, Sony. Toho som sa nedoč­kal ani v oblas­ti výpoč­to­vej tech­ni­ky, ani v elek­tro­ni­ke. Invex mi pri­šiel ako regi­onál­ny veľ­trh pre men­ších pod­ni­ka­te­ľov, čo si mys­lím, je škoda.

In 2008, I did­n’t spend much time at INVEX. The­re were nice things, but my inte­rest in them was­n’t too gre­at. I’m not com­plai­ning; after all, I expec­ted that. Howe­ver, if more things had caught my inte­rest, it would have ple­a­sed me. I was espe­cial­ly hea­ding to the ​“pho­to pavi­li­on,” and I was sur­pri­sed by the abun­dan­ce of forums and ​“pho­to cour­ses.” I expec­ted a much lar­ger pre­sen­ce from major com­pa­nies like Canon, Nikon, Pen­tax, and Sony. I did­n’t find that, neit­her in the field of com­pu­ting tech­no­lo­gy nor in elect­ro­nics. INVEX see­med to me more like a regi­onal tra­de fair for smal­ler busi­nes­ses, which I think is a pity.

INVEX – DIGITEX 2006, Výsta­viš­tě Brno 9. – 13.10.2006

Výsta­vu som nav­ští­vil spo­lu s moji­mi kole­ga­mi z prá­ce v jeden októb­ro­vý deň. Na Inve­xe sa mi páči­lo a urči­te by som rád pri­šiel zno­vu. Upú­tal ma pavi­lón, kde boli tele­ví­zie, novi­ny a roz­hlas a medzi iný­mi aj Čes­ký roz­hlas. Vo Foto­aré­ne sme mali mož­nosť náv­štev­ní­ci veľ­tr­hu vidieť a pou­žiť pro­fe­si­onál­ne zaria­de­né štú­dio, moh­li si vyfo­tiť model­ky a vypo­čuť si aj neja­ký výklad. Model­ky pózo­va­li samé, ale aj vo dvo­j­iciach. Jeden náv­štev­ník dostal ovlá­da­cí kus, kto­rým ovlá­dal bles­ky vo ​“foto­ate­li­é­ri”. V rám­ci výsta­vy sa kona­la v are­áli BVV aj veľ­mi pek­ná výsta­va foto­gra­fií. Videl som via­ce­rých auto­rov už ​“zabe­ha­ných”, ale aj nie­kto­ré sním­ky pochá­dza­li z časo­pi­su, do kto­ré­ho pris­pie­va­li skôr ama­tér­ski nad­šen­ci. Záu­jem o pozo­ro­va­nie maľo­va­nia na od pása nahé baby bol evi­dent­ný. Pani, kto­rá maľo­va­la poznám aj z podu­ja­tí v Piešťanoch.

I visi­ted the exhi­bi­ti­on with my col­le­a­gu­es from work on one Octo­ber day. I liked INVEX, and I would cer­tain­ly like to come again. I was dra­wn to the pavi­li­on whe­re tele­vi­si­ons, news­pa­pers, and radio were loca­ted, inc­lu­ding Czech Radio. In the Pho­to Are­na, visi­tors to the tra­de fair had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to see and use a pro­fes­si­onal­ly equ­ip­ped stu­dio, take pic­tu­res of models, and lis­ten to some expla­na­ti­ons. Models posed indi­vi­du­al­ly and in pairs. One visi­tor rece­i­ved a con­trol pie­ce to ope­ra­te the flas­hes in the ​“pho­to stu­dio.” As part of the exhi­bi­ti­on, a very nice pho­tog­rap­hy exhi­bi­ti­on took pla­ce in the BVV area. I saw seve­ral well-​established aut­hors, but some pic­tu­res came from a maga­zi­ne whe­re ama­te­ur ent­hu­siasts con­tri­bu­ted. The­re was evi­dent inte­rest in obser­ving the pain­ting of a naked woman from the waist up. I recog­ni­zed the lady who was pain­ting from events in Piešťany.

Zlaté stuhy – Concours d´elegance

Už neja­ký ten rok sa Pieš­ťa­noch koná podu­ja­tie nazva­né ​“Zla­té stu­hy”, ale­bo ​“Con­cours d´elegance”. V roku 2009 sa podu­ja­tie kona­lo 5.6 až 7.6.2009 (Peter Kac­lík). Podu­ja­tie sa v Pieš­ťa­noch kona­lo v 30-​tych rokoch 20. sto­ro­čia. V rokoch 1932 až 1937 sa koná­va­li súťa­že o najk­raj­ší auto­mo­bil. Tra­dí­cia bola obno­ve­ná po roku 1980 už ako pre­hliad­ka his­to­ric­kých vozi­diel (Eva Jan­či­no­vá). Prog­ram podu­ja­tia oby­čaj­ne pozos­tá­va z jaz­dy a samoz­rej­me s pre­hliad­kou auto­mo­bi­lov na Kúpeľ­nom ostro­ve (pies​tantv​.sk).

Con­cours d’E­le­gan­ce je sym­bo­lom, kto­rý zís­ka­va­jú auto­mo­bi­ly za ich ele­gan­ciu, krá­su a his­to­ric­kú hod­no­tu. Zame­ria­va sa na este­ti­ku, štýl a ori­gi­na­li­tu. Čas­to tie­to vete­rá­ny pred­sta­vu­jú vrchol auto­mo­bi­lo­vé­ho dizaj­nu a remesla.

For seve­ral years now, an event cal­led ​“Zla­té stu­hy” or ​“Con­cours d’e­le­gan­ce” has been taking pla­ce in Pieš­ťa­ny. In 2009, the event was held from June 5 to June 7, 2009 (Peter Kac­lík). Simi­lar events were held in Pieš­ťa­ny in the 1930s, with com­pe­ti­ti­ons for the most beau­ti­ful car taking pla­ce from 1932 to 1937. The tra­di­ti­on was revi­ved after 1980, now as a sho­wca­se of his­to­ri­cal vehic­les (Eva Jan­či­no­vá). The event prog­ram usu­al­ly inc­lu­des a dri­ve and, of cour­se, a disp­lay of cars on the Spa Island (pies​tantv​.sk).

Con­cours d’E­le­gan­ce is a sym­bol awar­ded to auto­mo­bi­les for the­ir ele­gan­ce, beau­ty, and his­to­ri­cal sig­ni­fi­can­ce. It focu­ses on aest­he­tics, sty­le, and ori­gi­na­li­ty. Often, the­se vin­ta­ge vehic­les repre­sent the pin­nac­le of auto­mo­ti­ve design and craftsmanship.

Depu­is que­lqu­es anné­es déjà, à Pieš­ťa­ny, se dérou­le un évé­ne­ment inti­tu­lé ​“Zla­té stu­hy” ou ​“Con­cours d’é­lé­gan­ce”. En 2009, l’é­vé­ne­ment a eu lieu du 5 au 7 juin 2009 (Peter Kac­lík). Les fes­ti­vi­tés ont une lon­gue his­to­ire à Pieš­ťa­ny, remon­tant aux anné­es 30 du XXe sièc­le, lor­sque des con­cours pour la plus bel­le auto­mo­bi­le étaient orga­ni­sés de 1932 à 1937. La tra­di­ti­on a été rétab­lie après 1980 en tant qu’e­xpo­si­ti­on de véhi­cu­les his­to­ri­qu­es (Eva Jan­či­no­vá). Le prog­ram­me de l’é­vé­ne­ment com­prend géné­ra­le­ment des défi­lés et bien sûr une expo­si­ti­on de voitu­res sur l’île des ther­mes (pies​tantv​.sk).

Con­cours d’É­lé­gan­ce est un sym­bo­le att­ri­bué aux auto­mo­bi­les pour leur élé­gan­ce, leur beau­té et leur impor­tan­ce his­to­ri­que. Il met l’ac­cent sur l’est­hé­ti­que, le sty­le et l’o­ri­gi­na­li­té. Sou­vent, ces véhi­cu­les anciens repré­sen­tent le sum­mum du design et du savoir-​faire automobile.

Vypustená vodná nádrž Sĺňava

Váh sa rok­mi zaná­šal, okrem iné­ho náras­tmi rias. Väč­ši­na ľudí odsu­dzo­va­la, že je ​“špi­na­vý”. Mne sa naopak páči­lo, že rie­ka oži­la, že posky­to­va­la zme­ne­ný bio­top, keď ju vypus­ti­li. V kaž­dom prí­pa­de veľ­ké množ­stvo korý­tok, mäk­ký­šov, mož­no aj rias tvo­ri­lo tech­nic­ké prob­lé­my na prieh­ra­de. A pre funkč­nosť prieh­ra­dy je žia­du­ce, aby sa Váh vyčis­til. Pod­ľa mojich infor­má­cií by sa mala vod­ná nádrž čis­tiť raz za 20 rokov. Zrej­me vzhľa­dom na časo­vú nároč­nosť a náklad­nosť také­ho­to zása­hu sa to veľ­mi neprak­ti­zu­je. Moja mama je roč­ník 1941 rokov, ale také­to čis­te­nie Sĺňa­vy, resp. Váhu si nepa­mä­tá. Pod­ľa toho súdim, že som bol zrej­me sved­kom jedi­né­ho čis­te­nia Váhu, kto­ré zaži­jem. Na foto­gra­fiách si môže­te pre­zrieť ako to vyze­ra­lo. Vypúš­ťa­nie pre­bie­ha­lo od augus­ta do začiat­ku novem­bra 2007. Roz­lo­ha vod­nej nádr­že Sĺňa­vy je 399 hek­tá­rov. Jej vznik sa datu­je do obdo­bia rokov 1956 – 1959. Je domo­vom mno­hých dru­hov vtá­kov, napr. čajok (Larus spp.), rybá­ra rieč­ne­ho (Ster­na hirun­do). Je význam­ným vtá­čím úze­mím Európy.

Vod­ná nádrž Sĺňa­va má objem 12.5 mili­ó­na m3. Na plo­chu 4.3 km2 pri­te­ka­jú vody z 10 000 km2 vod­nej plo­chy povo­dia. Hať Dra­hov­ce má 132 met­rov, je sta­va­ná na sto­roč­ná prie­tok 2 200 m3/​s (Pieš­ťan­ský Týž­deň, 2010, No. 20, p. 7).

Over the years, the Váh River faced sil­ta­ti­on, among other things, due to the gro­wth of algae. Most peop­le con­dem­ned it as ​“dir­ty.” On the con­tra­ry, I liked that the river came ali­ve, pro­vi­ding a chan­ged habi­tat when they rele­a­sed it. In any case, the lar­ge amount of river­beds, mol­lusks, possib­ly algae cre­a­ted tech­ni­cal prob­lems on the dam. For the func­ti­ona­li­ty of the dam, it is desi­rab­le to cle­an the Váh. Accor­ding to my infor­ma­ti­on, the reser­vo­ir should be cle­a­ned once eve­ry 20 years. Pro­bab­ly due to the time and cost invol­ved in such an inter­ven­ti­on, this is not very prac­ti­cal. My mot­her was born in 1941, but she does­n’t remem­ber such cle­a­ning of the Sĺňa­va, or Váh. From this, I conc­lu­de that I was pro­bab­ly a wit­ness to the only cle­a­ning of the Váh that I will expe­rien­ce. In the pho­tos, you can see what it looked like. The drai­ning took pla­ce from August to ear­ly Novem­ber 2007. The area of the Sĺňa­va reser­vo­ir is 399 hec­ta­res. Its cre­a­ti­on dates back to the peri­od 1956 – 1959. It is home to many bird spe­cies, such as gulls (Larus spp.), and com­mon terns (Ster­na hirun­do). It is a sig­ni­fi­cant bird area in Europe.

Talen­to­vé šou sa sta­li neod­mys­li­teľ­nou súčas­ťou zábav­né­ho prie­mys­lu po celom sve­te, a stred­ná Euró­pa nie je výnim­kou. ​“Supers­tar” je jed­nou z tých­to iko­nic­kých tele­víz­nych súťa­ží, kto­rá osla­vu­je hudob­ný talent a pro­du­ku­je nové hviez­dy. Prvá sezó­na Supers­tar na Slo­ven­sku odštar­to­va­la v roku 2004 a okam­ži­te si zís­ka­la obľu­bu divá­kov. Inšpi­ro­va­ná brit­skou séri­ou ​“Pop Idol” a ame­ric­kým ​“Ame­ri­can Idol”, súťaž hľa­da­la naj­lep­ší spe­vác­ky talent na slo­ven­skej hudob­nej scé­ne. Supers­tar pomoh­la obja­viť mno­ho talen­to­va­ných spe­vá­kov, kto­rí sa sta­li zná­my­mi mena­mi v oblas­ti. Fina­lis­ti súťa­že majú mož­nosť zís­kať nie­len zmlu­vu s hudob­ným vyda­va­teľ­stvom, ale aj šan­cu oslo­viť divá­kov svo­jím hudob­ným ume­ním. Supers­tar na Slo­ven­sku, aj v Čes­ku pri­nies­la čerstvý vie­tor do hudob­nej scé­ny. Sta­la tram­po­lí­nou pre mno­ho talen­to­va­ných umel­cov. For­mát súťa­že zostal podob­ný, s poro­tou zlo­že­nou z odbor­ní­kov na hud­bu, kto­rí hod­no­tia a posu­dzu­jú výko­ny súťa­žia­cich. Supers­tar sa sta­la zábav­ným rodin­ným prog­ra­mom, kto­rý kaž­dý rok pri­tiah­ne tisí­ce divá­kov pred obrazovky.

Supers­tar na Slo­ven­sku a v Čes­ku nie­len pomoh­la obja­viť nové hudob­né talen­ty, ale tiež oži­vi­la a obo­ha­ti­la hudob­ný prie­my­sel v regi­ó­ne. Mno­hí fina­lis­ti si zís­ka­li pozor­nosť pub­li­ka a mali prí­le­ži­tosť pre­sa­diť sa v nároč­nom hudob­nom sve­te. Neme­nej dôle­ži­té je aj posu­nu­tie kul­tú­ry sle­do­va­nia hudob­ných súťa­ží, kto­ré vytvo­ri­lo nové gene­rá­cie hudob­ných fanú­ši­kov. Supers­tar na Slo­ven­sku a v Čes­ku nie­len hľa­dá nové hviez­dy, ale aj vytvá­ra kul­túr­ny feno­mén, kto­rý spá­ja ľudí cez lás­ku k hud­be a talentu.

Talent sho­ws have beco­me an integ­ral part of the enter­tain­ment indus­try worl­dwi­de, and Cen­tral Euro­pe is no excep­ti­on. ​“Supers­tar” is one of the­se ico­nic tele­vi­si­on com­pe­ti­ti­ons that celeb­ra­tes musi­cal talent and pro­du­ces new stars. The first sea­son of Supers­tar in Slo­va­kia kic­ked off in 2004 and imme­dia­te­ly gai­ned popu­la­ri­ty among vie­wers. Ins­pi­red by the Bri­tish series ​“Pop Idol” and the Ame­ri­can ​“Ame­ri­can Idol,” the com­pe­ti­ti­on sought the best sin­ging talent on the Slo­vak music sce­ne. Supers­tar hel­ped dis­co­ver many talen­ted sin­gers who beca­me well-​known names in the indus­try. Fina­lists of the com­pe­ti­ti­on have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to secu­re not only a con­tract with a music label but also a chan­ce to cap­ti­va­te audien­ces with the­ir musi­cal artistry.

Supers­tar in Slo­va­kia and the Czech Repub­lic brought a bre­ath of fresh air to the music sce­ne. It beca­me a spring­bo­ard for many talen­ted artists. The for­mat of the com­pe­ti­ti­on remai­ned simi­lar, with a panel of music experts jud­ging and eva­lu­ating the con­tes­tants’ per­for­man­ces. Supers­tar has beco­me a enter­tai­ning fami­ly prog­ram that att­racts thou­sands of vie­wers in front of the­ir scre­ens eve­ry year.

Supers­tar in Slo­va­kia and the Czech Repub­lic not only hel­ped dis­co­ver new musi­cal talents but also revi­ta­li­zed and enri­ched the music indus­try in the regi­on. Many fina­lists gai­ned the audien­ce­’s atten­ti­on and had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to estab­lish them­sel­ves in the deman­ding music world. Equ­al­ly impor­tant is the shift in the cul­tu­re of wat­ching music com­pe­ti­ti­ons, cre­a­ting new gene­ra­ti­ons of music fans. Supers­tar has beco­me not just a com­pe­ti­ti­on for vic­to­ry but also a plat­form that encou­ra­ges young artists to pur­sue the­ir dre­ams and achie­ve musi­cal suc­cess. Supers­tar in Slo­va­kia and the Czech Repub­lic not only seeks new stars but also cre­a­tes a cul­tu­ral phe­no­me­non that con­nects peop­le through a sha­red love for music and talent.

Dňa 8.3.2009 sa kona­la o 17:00 ver­ni­sáž výsta­vy mojich foto­gra­fií v Kur­sa­lo­ne (Beet­ho­ve­no­va 5) v Pieš­ťa­noch. Výsta­va trva­la do 4.4.2009. Na foto­gra­fiách je zachy­te­ný tra­dič­ný aj netra­dič­ný pohľad na Pieš­ťa­ny a oko­lie. Verím, že foto­gra­fie spra­ve­né mojou opti­kou vypo­ve­da­jú nie­len o Pieš­ťa­noch, ale aj o mne :-). Príď­te sa pre­sved­čiť, že foto­gra­fie sú ako živé ;-). Výsta­va sa koná vďa­ka Pieš­ťan­ské­mu Foto­k­lu­bu.

On March 8, 2009, at 5:00 PM, the ver­nis­sa­ge of my pho­tog­rap­hy exhi­bi­ti­on took pla­ce at Kur­sa­lon (Beet­ho­ve­no­va 5) in Pieš­ťa­ny. The exhi­bi­ti­on las­ted until April 4, 2009. The pho­tog­raphs cap­tu­re both tra­di­ti­onal and uncon­ven­ti­onal vie­ws of Pieš­ťa­ny and its sur­roun­dings. I belie­ve that the ima­ges taken through my lens spe­ak not only about Pieš­ťa­ny but also about myself. Come and see for your­sel­ves that pho­tog­raphs are ali­ve. The exhi­bi­ti­on is orga­ni­zed thanks to the Pieš­ťan­ský Fotoklub.

Am 8.3.2009 fand die Ver­nis­sa­ge mei­ner Foto­auss­tel­lung um 17:00 Uhr im Kur­sa­lon (Beet­ho­vens­tra­ße 5) in Pieš­ťa­ny statt. Die Auss­tel­lung dau­er­te bis zum 4.4.2009. Auf den Fotos ist sowohl ein tra­di­ti­onel­ler als auch ein unkon­ven­ti­onel­ler Blick auf Pieš­ťa­ny und die Umge­bung ein­ge­fan­gen. Ich glau­be, dass die mit mei­ner Lin­se auf­ge­nom­me­nen Fotos nicht nur von Pieš­ťa­ny erzäh­len, son­dern auch von mir :-). Kom­men Sie vor­bei und über­ze­ugen Sie sich, dass Fotos leben­dig sind ;-). Die Auss­tel­lung fin­det dank des Foto­c­lubs Pieš­ťa­ny statt.
