V Sen­ci sa konal aj v roku 2009 ​“Veľ­ký let­ný kar­ne­val”, ten­to krát 26.6.2009. Ja som sa zúčast­nil po prvý krát. Pred­tým som počú­val o tom­to kar­ne­va­le samé chvá­ly, tak som bol veľ­mi zve­da­vý. Musím pove­dať, že som bol nad­še­ný a to pre­dov­šet­kým kvô­li dvom veciam. Po prvé videl som, že ak sa dá ľuďom pries­tor, tak sú tvo­ri­ví a nie­len to, ale aj tvo­ria. Po dru­hé, atmo­sfé­ra bola výbor­ná, ľudia sa teši­li. Ten­to rok pri­tom hro­zi­lo, že všet­ci zmok­ne­me, hodi­nu pred­tým bola zatia­hnu­tá oblo­ha a lia­lo a lia­lo. Asi pol­ho­di­nu pred šies­tou večer vykuk­lo sln­ko a chva­la­bo­hu vykuk­li aj ľudia.

V Sen­ci sa koná kaž­do­roč­ný Veľ­ký let­ný kar­ne­val. Pri­ťa­hu­je oby­va­te­ľov aj náv­štev­ní­kov z oko­li­tých obcí a miest, ponú­ka­júc zába­vu, kul­tú­ru a rôz­no­ro­dé akti­vi­ty pre všet­ky veko­vé kate­gó­rie. Kar­ne­val v Sen­ci sa obvyk­le koná kon­com júna a ponú­ka boha­tý prog­ram plný sprie­vo­dov, hud­by, tan­cov, diva­del­ných pred­sta­ve­ní, atrak­cií, špor­to­vých podu­ja­tí a tra­dič­ných jedál. Uspo­ra­dú­va­jú sa aj prog­ra­my pre deti. Táto uda­losť má za cieľ spo­jiť komu­ni­tu, poskyt­núť zába­vu a slá­viť let­né obdobie.

Senec hosts the annu­al Gre­at Sum­mer Car­ni­val. It att­racts resi­dents and visi­tors from sur­roun­ding vil­la­ges and towns, offe­ring enter­tain­ment, cul­tu­re, and diver­se acti­vi­ties for all age groups. The car­ni­val in Senec typi­cal­ly takes pla­ce at the end of June and pre­sents a rich prog­ram full of para­des, music, dan­ces, the­at­ri­cal per­for­man­ces, att­rac­ti­ons, sports events, and tra­di­ti­onal foods. The­re are also prog­rams spe­ci­fi­cal­ly desig­ned for chil­dren. The pur­po­se of this event is to bring the com­mu­ni­ty toget­her, pro­vi­de enter­tain­ment, and celeb­ra­te the sum­mer season.

Друго, атмосфера је била одлична, људи су уживали. Ове године је, међутим, постојала опасност од кише, сат времена пре тога било је облачно небо и киша и киша.
