Pala Svo­ra­da som nepoz­nal dlho. Keď sa tak sta­lo, bol už na dôchod­ku. Bol z Pieš­ťan ako ja, mali sme spo­loč­né­ho zná­me­ho, to boli spo­je­nia, vďa­ka kto­rým sme sa kon­tak­to­va­li. Palo ako mla­dík cho­val ryby a zrej­me až na dôcho­dok sa ku svoj­mu koníč­ku vrá­til. Avšak Palo bol jedi­neč­ný svo­jím zápa­lom, kto­rým sa veno­val akva­ris­ti­ke. Bol schop­ný zo dňa na deň roz­hod­núť sa ísť do Duis­bur­gu na veľ­trh. Pre svo­je zanep­ráz­dne­nie som Pala nav­ští­vil iba raz a v dobe, kedy už jeho zdra­vie bolo tak­po­ve­diac na vlás­ku. Bolo to v roku 2015. Mal okrem iné­ho krás­ne veľ­ké akvá­ri­um so ska­lár­mi Pte­rop­hyl­lum altum a Pun­tius deni­so­ni. Palo mi okrem iné­ho veno­val kopec akva­ris­tic­ké­ho tova­ru. Ďaku­jem Palo, že som ťa poznal.

I did­n’t know Palo Svo­ra­da for long. When I met him, he was alre­a­dy reti­red. He was from Pieš­ťa­ny, like me, and we had a mutu­al acqu­ain­tan­ce, which is how we got in touch. As a young man, Palo kept fish, and it seems he retur­ned to his hob­by after reti­re­ment. Howe­ver, Palo was uni­que in his pas­si­on for aqu­aris­tics. He could deci­de on a whim to go to the fair in Duis­burg. Due to my busy sche­du­le, I only visi­ted Palo once, at a time when his health was han­ging by a thre­ad. It was in 2015. Among other things, he had a beau­ti­ful lar­ge aqu­arium with Pte­rop­hyl­lum altum and Pun­tius deni­so­ni. Palo also gave me a lot of aqu­arium supp­lies. Thank you, Palo, for kno­wing you.

Akvaristické výstavy v Hradci Královom

V Hrad­ci Krá­lo­vom sa pra­vi­del­ne kaž­dý rok koná­va­li a snáď aj kona­jú veľ­ké akva­ris­tic­ké akcie. Ich obsa­hom je výsta­va rýb, oby­čaj­ne aj súťaž­ná. Pokoj­ne aj kre­ve­tiek. Pred­náš­ky, buď ces­to­va­teľ­ské, ale­bo zame­ra­né na neja­kú oblasť akva­ris­ti­ky. A samoz­rej­me bur­za, kto­rá bola záro­veň aj o tera­ris­ti­ke, cho­va­teľ­stve a čas­to aj o iných ​“zbier­kach”. Ja som zažil akcie v Kon­gre­so­vom cen­tre Aldis. Mám na to výbor­né spomienky.

In Hra­dec Krá­lo­vé, lar­ge aqu­arist events were regu­lar­ly held eve­ry year, and hope­ful­ly, they still are. The­se events inc­lu­ded fish exhi­bi­ti­ons, usu­al­ly with com­pe­ti­ti­ons, and some­ti­mes even shrimp com­pe­ti­ti­ons. The­re were also lec­tu­res, eit­her travel-​themed or focu­sed on a spe­ci­fic area of aqu­aris­tics. And of cour­se, the­re was a mar­ket, which also inc­lu­ded ter­ra­ris­tics, ani­mal bre­e­ding, and often other ​“col­lec­ti­ons.” I expe­rien­ced the­se events at the Aldis Con­gress Cen­ter. I have won­der­ful memo­ries of them.

Svoj­ho času som nav­šte­vo­val akcie poria­da­né klu­bom IRIS v Plzni.

V Plz­ni pôso­bí význam­ný akva­ris­tic­ký spo­lok IRIS. Jeho zákla­dy boli polo­že­né už v roku 1900. Vte­dy to bola akva­ris­tic­ká sek­cia Prí­ro­do­ved­né­ho klu­bu pri Plzeňs­kom múzeu. Názov bol vybra­ný zo šty­roch pome­no­va­ní: Iris, Pis­tia, Lek­nín, Ric­cia (Pavel Kne­žík).

In the past, I used to attend events orga­ni­zed by the IRIS club in Plzeň.

In Plzeň, the­re is a pro­mi­nent aqu­arist asso­cia­ti­on cal­led IRIS. Its foun­da­ti­ons were laid as ear­ly as 1900. At that time, it was an aqu­arist sec­ti­on of the Natu­ral Scien­ce Club at the Plzeň Muse­um. The name was cho­sen from four opti­ons: Iris, Pis­tia, Water Lily, Ric­cia (Pavel Knežík).

Früher habe ich Verans­tal­tun­gen des IRIS-​Clubs in Pil­sen besucht.

In Pil­sen gibt es eine bede­uten­de aqu­aris­tis­che Vere­i­ni­gung namens IRIS. Ihre Grund­la­gen wur­den bere­its im Jahr 1900 gelegt. Damals war es eine Aquaristik-​Sektion des Natur­wis­sen­schaft­li­chen Clubs des Pils­ner Muse­ums. Der Name wur­de aus vier Opti­onen aus­ge­wä­hlt: Iris, Pis­tia, See­ro­se, Ric­cia (Pavel Knežík).

V minu­los­ti jsem navš­těvo­val akce pořá­da­né klu­bem IRIS v Plzni.

V Plz­ni půso­bí význam­ný akva­ris­tic­ký spo­lek IRIS. Jeho zákla­dy byly polo­že­ny již v roce 1900. Teh­dy to byla akva­ris­tic­ká sek­ce Pří­ro­do­věd­né­ho klu­bu při Plzeňs­kém muzeu. Název byl vybrán ze čtyř mož­nos­tí: Iris, Pis­tia, Lek­nín, Ric­cia (Pavel Knežík).

10.10.2009 sa usku­toč­ni­la v Dome kul­tú­ry v Dúb­rav­ke, v Bra­ti­sla­ve v pora­dí dru­há bra­ti­slav­ská tera­ris­tic­ká bur­za (BTB) Tro­pi­ca­na Pre­ss­burg. Naj­viac boli ponú­ka­né pla­zy, pre­dov­šet­kým jaš­te­ry. Veľa bolo aj sli­má­kov, hadov. Čias­toč­ne bola zastú­pe­ná aj akva­ris­ti­ka. Zvlášt­ne pre mňa boli kalo­ne, čo sú neto­pie­re. Pod­ľa foto­gra­fií si môže­te spra­viť obraz o tom, ako to tam vypa­da­lo. Ja odha­du­jem, že pre­daj­co­via boli zhru­ba na 50 met­roch, keby boli v jed­nom rade. Atmo­sfé­ra bola výbor­ná, tera­ris­ti sú tak­mer bez výnim­ky tole­rant­ní, pokoj­ní ľudia, kto neve­rí, nech prí­de napr. na ďal­šiu Tro­pi­ca­nu, kto­rá bude na jar 2010.

On Octo­ber 10, 2009, the second ter­ra­rium fair in Bra­ti­sla­va, Tro­pi­ca­na Pre­ss­burg (BTB), took pla­ce at the Cul­tu­re Hou­se in Dúb­rav­ka. The event fea­tu­red a sig­ni­fi­cant offe­ring of repti­les, espe­cial­ly lizards. The­re were also many snails and sna­kes avai­lab­le. Addi­ti­onal­ly, the­re was a par­tial repre­sen­ta­ti­on of aquarium-​related items. Par­ti­cu­lar­ly intri­gu­ing for me were ​“kalo­ne,” which are bats. From the pho­tos, you can get an idea of how it looked the­re. I esti­ma­te that the sel­lers were spre­ad over app­ro­xi­ma­te­ly 50 meters if they were in a sin­gle row. The atmo­sp­he­re was excel­lent; ter­ra­rium ent­hu­siasts are, wit­hout excep­ti­on, tole­rant and pea­ce­ful peop­le. Any­o­ne who doubts this should come to the next Tro­pi­ca­na, sche­du­led for spring 2010.
