Mar­chegg – mes­to bocia­nov – Stor­chens­tadt. Leží neďa­le­ko od hra­níc zo Slo­ven­skom – v pod­sta­te ved­ľa Devín­ske­ho jaze­ra. Zná­my je vyso­kým množ­stvom bocia­nov od mar­ca do augus­ta. Leží v nad­mor­skej výš­ke 141 m, má cca 3650 oby­va­te­ľov. Zalo­že­ný bol v roku 1268 krá­ľom Pře­mys­lom Ota­ka­rom. Zau­jí­ma­vos­ťou je vod­ný hrad, kto­rý bol posta­ve­ný v 13. sto­ro­čí a slú­žil ako lovec­ký zámok (mar​chegg​.at)V roku 1621 zís­kal vod­ný hrad Pavol IV. Pál­fi, kto­rý bol maji­te­ľom pan­stva aj v sused­ných Malac­kách, Pla­vec­ké­ho hra­du, Deví­na ale aj Boj­níc. Podo­bá sa na Malac­ký kaš­tieľ, jeho potom­ko­via postu­po­va­li pri úpra­vách v súčin­nos­ti. V jeho inte­ri­é­roch sa dnes nachá­dza expo­zí­cia o Pře­mys­lo­vi Ota­ka­ro­vi II. ale aj výsta­va veno­va­ná rodi­ne Pál­fi­ov­cov (Krno). Súčas­ťou are­álu je veľ­mi pek­ná par­ko­vá úpra­va. Ďal­šou atrak­ci­ou sú Vie­den­ská brá­na – Wie­ner Tor a Uhor­ská brá­na – Ungar­tor (mar​chegg​.at). Dnes zámok slú­ži ako regi­onál­ne múze­um (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). Ved­ľa obce Mar­chegg sa nachá­dza­jú prí­rod­né rezer­vá­cie Morav­ské luž­né lesy a jaze­ro Kle­i­ner Bre­i­ten­see, naj­väč­šia koló­nia bocia­nov v stred­nej Euró­pe s hniez­da­mi na stro­moch (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). Hniez­di tu 50 párov bocia­nov bie­lych – bocia­nie knie­žat­stvo (Krno). Rezer­vá­cia WWF March Auen – Morav­ské luhy vznik­la v roku 1970. Je súčas­ťou Ram­sar­skej loka­li­ty Niva Mora­vy. Mok­ra­de s luž­ný­mi les­mi sú vzác­nym eko­sys­té­mom, kto­rý svo­jou ohro­ze­nos­ťou mož­no pri­rov­nať ku tro­pic­kým pra­le­som (teraz​.sk).


Mar­chegg – the town of storks – Stor­chens­tadt. It is loca­ted near the bor­ders with Slo­va­kia – essen­tial­ly next to the Devín Lake. It is kno­wn for a high num­ber of storks from March to August. Situ­ated at an alti­tu­de of 141 m, it has around 3650 inha­bi­tants. It was foun­ded in 1268 by King Pře­mysl Ota­kar. An inte­res­ting fea­tu­re is the water cast­le, built in the 13th cen­tu­ry and used as a hun­ting lod­ge (mar​chegg​.at). In 1621, the water cast­le was acqu­ired by Paul IV. Pál­fi, who owned esta­tes in the neigh­bo­ring Malac­ky, Pla­vec­ký Cast­le, Devín, and Boj­ni­ce. It resem­bles the Malac­ky Manor, and its des­cen­dants coope­ra­ted in its modi­fi­ca­ti­ons. Today, its inte­ri­ors host an exhi­bi­ti­on about Pře­mysl Ota­kar II. as well as an exhi­bi­ti­on dedi­ca­ted to the Pál­fy fami­ly (Krno). The area inc­lu­des a beau­ti­ful park arran­ge­ment. Anot­her att­rac­ti­on is the Vien­ne­se Gate – Wie­ner Tor and the Hun­ga­rian Gate – Ungar­tor (mar​chegg​.at). Today, the cast­le ser­ves as a regi­onal muse­um (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). Next to the vil­la­ge of Mar­chegg, the­re are natu­re reser­ves of Mora­vian flo­odp­lain forests and Lake Kle­i­ner Bre­i­ten­see, the lar­gest colo­ny of storks in Cen­tral Euro­pe with nests on tre­es (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). The­re are 50 pairs of whi­te storks nesting here – the stork prin­ci­pa­li­ty (Krno). The WWF March Auen – Morav­ské luhy reser­ve was estab­lis­hed in 1970. It is part of the Ram­sar site Mora­va Flo­odp­lain. Wet­lands with flo­odp­lain forests are a rare eco­sys­tem, com­pa­rab­le in the­ir vul­ne­ra­bi­li­ty to tro­pi­cal rain­fo­rests (teraz​.sk).

Bekannt ist sie für eine hohe Anzahl von Stör­chen von März bis August. Auf einer Höhe von 141 m gele­gen, hat sie etwa 3650 Ein­woh­ner. Geg­rün­det wur­de sie im Jahr 1268 von König Pře­mysl Ota­kar. Eine inte­res­san­te Sehen­swür­dig­ke­it ist das Was­sersch­loss, das im 13. Jahr­hun­dert erbaut und als Jagdsch­loss genutzt wur­de (mar​chegg​.at). Im Jahr 1621 erwarb Paul IV. Pál­fi das Was­sersch­loss, der auch Besit­zer von Gütern in den benach­bar­ten Malac­ky, Pla­vec­ký Cast­le, Devín und Boj­ni­ce war. Es ähnelt dem Sch­loss Malac­ky, und sei­ne Nach­kom­men wir­kten bei den Umbau­ten mit. Heute beher­ber­gen sei­ne Innen­rä­u­me eine Auss­tel­lung über Pře­mysl Ota­kar II. sowie eine Auss­tel­lung über die Fami­lie Pál­fy (Krno). Das Gelän­de umfasst eine schöne Par­kan­la­ge. Eine wei­te­re Att­rak­ti­on sind das Wie­ner Tor – Wie­ner Tor und das Ungar­tor – Ungar­tor (mar​chegg​.at). Heute dient das Sch­loss als regi­ona­les Muse­um (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). Neben dem Dorf Mar­chegg befin­den sich Naturs­chutz­ge­bie­te von Mäh­ris­chen Auen­wäl­dern und dem Kle­i­ner Bre­i­ten­see, der größten Storch­ko­lo­nie in Mit­te­le­uro­pa mit Nestern auf Bäu­men (tou​rist​-chan​nel​.sk). Hier brüten 50 Paa­re Wei­ßs­tör­che – das Storch­fürs­ten­tum (Krno). Das WWF March Auen – Morav­ské luhy-​Reservat wur­de 1970 geg­rün­det. Es ist Teil des Ramsar-​Gebiets Morava-​Überschwemmungsgebiet. Feucht­ge­bie­te mit Auen­wäl­dern sind ein sel­te­nes Öko­sys­tem, das in sei­ner Ver­wund­bar­ke­it mit tro­pis­chen Regen­wäl­dern verg­le­ich­bar ist (teraz​.sk).
