Línie

Hits: 2571

Cyklus cielene redukuje farebnosť a kontext.

Lines belong to the most fundamental building elements of the visual world. They precede form, surface, and volume. A line is a trace of movement, a boundary, a direction, a source of tension. It emerges as a consequence of human activity and technical solutions, but also as a result of geological fractures or the long-term action of time. I work with this element as a carrier of meaning. The captured lines are not self-purposeful; they are records of the order that humans introduce into space, as well as of the chaos that constantly resists this order. Within the images, the geometric strictness of technical structures confronts the organic irregularity of the environment. A straight direction bends, repeats itself, disappears. Parallels diverge, rhythm changes. Here, the line is not merely a visual guide for the viewer’s eye, but also a means of orientation in space and time. It suggests movement, the flow of energy, hierarchy, and boundaries that are not always immediately visible.

The cycle deliberately reduces color and context. It does not offer a narrative in the classical sense, but rather a series of visual situations in which the viewer can focus on relationships: between directions, between surfaces, between light and shadow. The line thus becomes a language—simple in form, yet multilayered in meaning. Lines are about the way we perceive. About how our vision naturally gravitates toward order, symmetry, and repetition. They represent a visual reflection of space in which everyday reality transforms into a sign, and detail into a statement.

Hrad bol sídlom Františka Vešeléniho a Žofie Bosniakovej, nazývanej tiež „svätica zo Strečna“, ktorej život napĺňajú legendami múry aj dnes (Informačná tabuľa).

In the past, Starý hrad Strečno was also known as Varín. The first written mention dates back to 1241. In the first half of the 17th century, the castle underwent reconstruction (hradstrecno.sk). It is located on the left bank of the Váh River, at an altitude of 475 meters above sea level. From the castle, one can see the Domašinský Meander (hradstrecno.sk). Hrad Strečno

Hits: 2622

„Noc duchov, tekvíc a strašidiel“, Noc múzeí a galérií (Wikipedia).

Strečniansky Castle (Strechun, Strechyn, Streczen, Streczan, Strežín) is situated on a 103-meter-high cliff at an elevation of 440 meters above sea level (Wikipedia). The Strečno Castle is located on the main road and railway route – Košice. The Váh River flows nearby beneath the castle (hradstrecno.sk). The castle hill was inhabited as early as the 13th century. The first written mention is from 1316 (strecno.sk). It likely originated on an older foundation of a Slavic hillfort (Wikipedia).

The architecture of the castle is evidence of the development of a medieval fortress from Gothic to Baroque styles (Information Board). In the immediate vicinity of the castle, there were two mills – one on the Váh River, the other located near the steward’s house beneath the castle along the road (pokladyslovenska.sk). A well 88 meters deep was found beneath the main gate (slovakia.com). The castle was partially fortified in 1910. It was damaged during the war in 1944. Comprehensive reconstruction took place from 1978 to 1994 (strecno.sk). Various events take place at the castle annually, such as the Castle Stairs Run, Fairytale Castle, Castle Games of Žofia Bosniaková, Night Tours, „Ghosts, Elves, and Strečniansky Des“, „Night of Ghosts, Pumpkins, and Spooks“, and Night of Museums and Galleries (Wikipedia).
