11. ročník Turnaja štyroch hlavných miest – Viedeň – Bratislava – –

Zápolenie prebiehalo v roku 2006, v športovej hale Mladosť, futbalovom štadióne Interu , v basketbalovej hale Interu Bratislava, na atletickom štadióne Interu Bratislava a v stolnotenisovej hale . Popri mladých nádejach sa najmä na atletickom štadióne pohybovali aj iní, starší na domácej pôde.

Turnaj mladých nádejí zo štyroch hlavných miest bol koncipovaný ako medzinárodné športové podujatie mládeže, ktorého cieľom bolo porovnávanie výkonnosti mladých talentov zo stredoeurópskeho priestoru. Zúčastňovali sa ho výbery alebo reprezentujúce hlavné : Budapešť, , Bratislava a Ľubľana. Podujatie má dlhú tradíciu a každoročne sa striedavo koná v jednom z týchto miest. Tento turnaj je určený pre mladých športovcov do približne 16 rokov a zahŕňa v niekoľkých športových disciplínach (bratislava.sk).

The competition took place in 2006 at the Mladosť Sports Hall, the football stadium, the Inter Bratislava basketball hall, the Inter Bratislava athletics stadium, and the Rača table tennis hall. Alongside the young talents, especially at the athletics stadium, other, older athletes were also active on the home ground.

The Tournament of Young Talents from the four capital cities was conceived as an international youth sporting event aimed at comparing the of young talents from the Central European region. featured national selections or clubs representing the capital cities of Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, and Ljubljana. The event has a long tradition and is held alternately each year in one of these cities. The tournament is intended for young athletes up to approximately 16 years of age and includes competitions in several sports disciplines ().

A versenyeket 2006-ban rendezték meg a Mladosť sportcsarnokban, az Inter Pozsony labdarúgó-stadionjában, az Inter Pozsony kosárlabda-csarnokában, az Inter Pozsony atlétikai stadionjában, valamint a Rača asztalitenisz-csarnokban. A fiatal tehetségek mellett – különösen az atlétikai stadionban – más, idősebb sportolók is jelen voltak hazai környezetben.

A négy főváros Fiatal Tehetségek Tornáját nemzetközi ifjúsági sporteseményként tervezték meg, amelynek célja a közép-európai térség fiatal tehetségeinek teljesítmény-összehasonlítása volt. A tornán Budapest, Bécs, Pozsony és Ljubljana fővárosokat képviselő válogatottak vagy klubok vettek részt. A rendezvény hosszú hagyományokra tekint vissza, és évente felváltva kerül megrendezésre valamelyik városban. A körülbelül 16 éves korig terjedő fiatal sportolóknak szól, és több sportág versenyeit foglalja magában (bratislava.sk).

Tekmovanja so potekala leta 2006 v športni dvorani Mladosť, na nogometnem stadionu Interja Bratislava, v košarkarski dvorani Interja Bratislava, na atletskem stadionu Interja Bratislava ter v dvorani za namizni Rača. Poleg mladih upov so se zlasti na atletskem stadionu na domačem prizorišču gibali tudi drugi, starejši športniki.

Turnir mladih upov štirih glavnih mest je bil zasnovan kot mednarodni mladinski športni dogodek, katerega cilj je bil primerjati uspešnost mladih talentov iz srednjeevropskega prostora. Na njem so sodelovale reprezentance ali klubi, ki so zastopali glavna mesta Budimpešto, Dunaj, Bratislavo in Ljubljano. Dogodek ima dolgo tradicijo in se vsako izmenično odvija v enem od teh mest. Turnir je namenjen mladim športnikom do približno 16. leta starosti in vključuje tekmovanja v več športnih disciplinah (bratislava.sk).

Die Wettkämpfe fanden im Jahr 2006 in der Sporthalle Mladosť, im Fußballstadion von Inter Bratislava, in der Basketballhalle von Inter Bratislava, im Leichtathletikstadion von Inter Bratislava sowie in der Tischtennishalle Rača statt. Neben den jungen Talenten waren insbesondere im Leichtathletikstadion auch andere, ältere Sportler auf heimischem Boden aktiv.

Das Turnier der jungen Talente der vier Hauptstädte wurde als internationales Jugendsportereignis konzipiert, dessen Ziel es war, die Leistungsfähigkeit junger Talente aus dem mitteleuropäischen Raum zu vergleichen. Teilgenommen haben Auswahlmannschaften oder Vereine, die die Hauptstädte Budapest, Wien, Bratislava und Ljubljana repräsentierten. Die Veranstaltung blickt auf eine lange Tradition zurück und findet jährlich abwechselnd in einer dieser Städte statt. Das Turnier richtet sich an junge Sportler bis etwa 16 Jahre und umfasst Wettbewerbe in mehreren Sportdisziplinen (bratislava.sk).

Veľká má svoju históriu. Pred rokom 1989 bola jedným zo športových sviatkov pre mnohých motoristických priaznivcov. Po roku 1989 doslova vyprchala a neskôr sa zrejme prišlo to, že bude dobré sa vrátiť k takémuto podujatiu. Veľká Slovenka je motoristická udalosť, ktorá priťahovala nadšencov a priaznivcov adrenalínu. Už od svojho začiatkov lákala fanúšikov aj z okolitých krajín. Pretekali , a samozrejme  v rôznych kubatúrach, výkonnostných triedach. motorov, benzínu prispievala ku vzrušeniu a spoluvytvárali tú správnu energiu. Pre fanúšikov je to skvelá príležitosť. Na svoje si prídu menej zainteresovaní, pretože ponuka je aj o sprievodné , rôzne , občerstvenia.

je dnes známa ako OMV MaxxMotion Grand Prix of , čo je predné okruhové motoristické podujatie na Slovensku konajúce sa na závodnom okruhu v Orechovej Potôni. Tento závod je považovaný za historicky najvýznamnejšie okruhové automobilové v krajine a tradične patrí medzi slovenskej motoristickej sezóny. Súčasťou víkendového programu bývajú aj ďalšie seriály ako TCR Eastern , , či . Preteky sú zároveň významné pre jazdcov zo strednej Európy, keďže sú zaradené do rôznych šampionátov a trofejí, vrátane FIA CEZ () či národných šampionátov Slovenska a iných krajín. Silvester v Piešťanoch

sa v Piešťanoch, čo si ja pamätám zvyčajne oslavoval aj „oficiálnym – veľkým“ ohňostrojom. Najmä v minulosti sa odpaľoval najmä z brehov Váhu, zhruba v úrovni kúpaliska . Preto väčšina divákov sa naň pozerala z Kolonádneho mostu. Malo to svoje čaro, aj ohnivé efekty nad vodou boli v takomto prostredí krajšie. V roku 2010 sa ohňostroj odpaľoval zo Auparku, v uzavretej zástavbe. Čo bolo dosť nešťastné rozhodnutie. Výhľad naň bol naozaj obmedzený a jeho potenciál sa razom znížil. Menšie prebiehali aj v roku 2010 a aj v minulosti rôznych miestach po celom meste.

v Piešťanoch je jedným z najstarších a najprestížnejších bežeckých podujatí na Slovensku, s bohatou históriou siahajúcou až do roku 1965. Každoročne sa koná 30. decembra na kúpeľnom ostrove, pričom trasa vedie cez piešťanské – Kolonádový a Krajinský. Tento beh sa stal neoddeliteľnou súčasťou športového kalendára mesta a láka bežcov aj zo zahraničia. Myšlienka usporiadať Silvestrovský beh v Piešťanoch vznikla na roku 1965, keď traja nadšenci atletiky – , a – rozhodli zorganizovať prvý ročník tohto . Inšpirovali sa populárnym Silvestrovským behom v brazílskom Sao Paule. Prvý ročník sa konal 30. decembra 1965 a zúčastnilo sa ho 30 pretekárov. Odvtedy sa podujatie koná každoročne, s výnimkou niekoľkých prestávok (silvestrovskybeh.sk).

Silvestrovský beh ponúka niekoľko kategórií pre rôzne vekové a výkonnostné . Hlavná trať má dĺžku 10 kilometrov a je certifikovaná Slovenským atletickým zväzom. Pre menej skúsených bežcov je pripravená 4-kilometrová trať. Okrem toho sú súčasťou podujatia aj detské . Pre tých, ktorí preferujú tímový duch, je k dispozícii štafetový beh na 10 kilometrov, kde sa môžu zapojiť tímy s maximálne piatimi členmi (silvestrovskybeh.sk). Prezentácia pretekárov prebieha v Kúpeľnom dome na kúpeľnom ostrove. Účastníci majú k dispozícii šatne, sprchy a možnosť využiť vonkajší bazén s termálnou vodou na kúpalisku Eva. Každý pretekár po dobehnutí do cieľa obdrží účastnícku medailu na pamiatku (silvestrovskybeh.sk). V roku 2024 bol zaznamenaný rekordný účastníkov, keď sa kapacita tisíc pretekárov naplnila ešte pred podujatím. V absolútnom poradí zvíťazil s časom 32:54 minúty (pnky.sk). Počas behu sa vypije približne 270 litrov teplého čaju a na jeho hladkom priebehu sa podieľa okolo 63 dobrovoľníkov (facebook.com).

In the past, was mostly launched from the banks of the River, approximately at the level of the EVA swimming pool. Therefore, most spectators watched it from the Colonnade Bridge. It had its charm, and the fiery effects over the water were more beautiful in such a setting. In 2010, the fireworks were launched from the roof of the in a closed area. This was quite an unfortunate decision. The view was really limited, and its potential was significantly reduced. Smaller fireworks displays also took place in 2010 and in the past at various locations across the .

The New Year’s Eve Run in Piešťany is one of the oldest and most prestigious running events in , with a rich history dating back to 1965. It is held annually on December 30th on the Spa , with the route crossing the Piešťany bridges – the Colonnade Bridge and the Bridge. This run has become an inseparable part of the city’s sports calendar and attracts runners even from abroad. The idea to organize the New Year’s Eve Run in Piešťany was conceived in the autumn of 1965 when three athletics enthusiasts – Anton Javorka, Walter Schwarz, and František Rašla – decided to hold the edition of this event. They were inspired by the popular New Year’s Eve Run in São Paulo, Brazil. The first edition took place on December 30th, 1965, with 30 competitors. Since then, the event has been held annually, with a few exceptions (silvestrovskybeh.sk).

The New Year’s Eve Run offers several categories for different age and groups. The main course is 10 kilometers long and is certified by the Slovak Athletics Association. For less experienced runners, a 4-kilometer course is prepared. Additionally, the event includes children’s races. For those who prefer spirit, a 10-kilometer relay race is available, allowing teams with up to five members to participate (silvestrovskybeh.sk). Competitor registration takes place at the Napoleon Spa House on the Spa Island. Participants have access to changing rooms, showers, and the opportunity to use the thermal water pool at the Eva swimming pool. Each participant receives a commemorative medal upon finishing the race (silvestrovskybeh.sk). In 2024, a record number of participants was recorded when the capacity of one thousand competitors was filled even before the event. Matúš Hujsa won the overall ranking with a time of 32:54 minutes (pnky.sk). During the race, approximately 270 liters of hot tea are consumed, and about 63 volunteers ensure its smooth progress (.com).

Silvester wurde in Piešťany, soweit ich mich erinnere, üblicherweise mit einem „offiziellen – großen“ Feuerwerk gefeiert. Besonders in der Vergangenheit wurde es meistens von den Ufern der Waag abgefeuert, ungefähr auf Höhe des Schwimmbads EVA. Daher sahen die meisten Zuschauer es von der Kolonnadenbrücke aus. Es hatte seinen besonderen Charme, und die Lichteffekte über dem Wasser waren in einer solchen Umgebung noch schöner. Im Jahr 2010 wurde das Feuerwerk vom Dach des Auparks in einer geschlossenen Umgebung abgefeuert. Dies war eine ziemlich unglückliche Entscheidung. Die Sicht darauf war wirklich eingeschränkt, und sein Potenzial wurde sofort gemindert. Kleinere Feuerwerke fanden ebenfalls im Jahr 2010 und auch in der Vergangenheit an verschiedenen Orten in der Stadt statt.

ČSOB Marathon v Bratislave

v Bratislave je už tradične poriadané podujatie, sponzorom ktorého je Československá . Je to udalosť ktorej sa zúčastňujú aj profesionálni , aj rekreační . Ponúka v rôznych kategóriách, okrem iného aj pre rôzne vekové . Udalosť priťahuje mnoho fanúšikov aj vzhľadom na to, že je to mestský maratón, ktorý sa koná vo verejnom priestore v rámci mesta. ČSOB maratón je oslavou atletiky a športu.

V roku 2011 sa ČSOB Marathon konal 25.- 27.3.2011. Súčasťou hlavného programu boli behy v rôznych vekových kategóriách. a bežali a maratón. Aj v tomto roku sa zúčastnilo behu množstvo atlétov. Vrcholových, rekreačných aj občasných. Asi skoro každý takýto aktívny účastník mal radosť s pohybu. Pri pohľade na niektorých skôr narodených a hendikepovaných bežcov som si vždy siahol do svedomia – patrí im môj obdiv.

ČSOB Marathon – inline korčuliari

V roku 2011 sa ČSOB Marathon konal 25.- 27.3.2011. Súčasťou programu bol aj beh korčuliarov. Niesol názov . Po prvý krát som videl podobné , bolo to celkom zaujímavé pre mňa. štartovali pred bežcami snáď polhodinu. Najlepší dobiehali korčuliarov trati, čo samozrejme nevadí.
