V posled­nej dobe sa na Slo­ven­skom trhu stá­va pomer­ne žia­da­ný. Pre­dá­va sa pod náz­vom ​“Main­ga­no”. Aj latin­ské syno­ny­mum ku Mela­noc­hro­mis cyane­or­hab­dos je Mela­noc­hro­mis cf. main­ga­no. Ako sami máte mož­nosť vidieť niž­šie, je dosť podob­ný sfar­be­niu sam­ca Mela­noc­hro­mis johan­nii, avšak na roz­diel od neho sa u toh­to dru­hu nepre­ja­vu­je pohlav­ný dimor­fiz­mus tak výraz­ne. Sami­ca, aj sam­ček sú si fareb­ne veľ­mi podob­ní. V dospe­los­ti je samič­ka len o tro­chu mene­ne výraz­ne sfar­be­ná ako samec. Tva­rom tela sa pohla­via roz­li­šu­jú. Samič­ka je zvy­čaj­ne o dosť men­šia. V kaž­dom prí­pa­de je sam­ček mohut­nej­ší v tele, samič­ka je ovál­nej­šia, sme­rom ku chvos­tu je ten­šia ako sam­ček. Samič­ka je veľ­mi spo­ľah­li­vá, mla­dé odno­sí rada. Exis­tu­jú však rôz­ne fareb­né for­my, kto­ré sa od seba dosť líšia.
