Vo Vlastivednom zborníku „“ vyšla štúdia Dr. Ferdinanda Uličného pod názvom „Osídlenie Liptova do 16. storočia“, v ktorej sa pri opise vzniku susedného Bobrovca uvádza, že z majetku Bobrovca bol v roku 1283 vyčlenený majetok Pavlovej Vsi a Demeterovi. Kto sú tieto osoby?  Mohli by to byť , ktorého meno nesie naša obec. Osoba Pavla je doteraz neznáma. Bol to však určite niekto, kto dostal územie v Pavlovej Vsi. Tu sa usídlil, a pracoval a žil. Pavlova Ves spolu so susedným Bobrovčekom tvorili od polovice 16. storočia jednu obec so spoločným richtárom. Hlavným spôsobom obživy bolo . Na jednu sa zasiala ozimina, na druhú jarina a tretia ostala úhorom, aby sa zem oddýchla. Pásol sa , , , , . Z obilnín siali naši najmä (), , () a neskoršie (zmes jačmeňa a ovsa) na . Pavlova Ves is situated at an altitude of 620 meters above sea level. Covering an area of 6.83 square kilometers, is home to 282 inhabitants (). The village was founded in 1400. Historical names of the village include Pavlowa Vieska and Pálfalva (pavlovaves.sk). Pavlova Ves lies in the Liptov Basin, close to the Western Tatras, at an elevation of 620 meters above sea level. It is adjacent to the Tatralandia Aquapark and is seven kilometers away from (pavlovaves.sk).

In the local history journal „Liptov,“ a study by Dr. Uličný titled „Settlement of Liptov until the 16th century“ mentions that in 1283, the property of Pavlova Ves was allocated from the estate of to Radun and . Who are these individuals? They could be the children of Paul, after whom our village is named. The of Paul remains unknown. However, he was certainly someone who received the land in Pavlova Ves, settled there, and lived and worked in the area. Pavlova Ves, along with the neighboring , formed a single municipality with a shared mayor from the mid-16th century. The main means of livelihood was agriculture. One field was sown with winter crops, another with spring crops, and the third was left fallow to allow the land to rest. Cattle, pigs, heifers, horses, and lambs were grazed. Our ancestors mainly sowed barley, oats, rye, and later a mixture of barley and oats (polovnák) for feed. They later also sowed wheat and a mixture of wheat and rye (). Root crops included potatoes (švábka), legumes such as beans (fizola), peas, and broad beans. Other vegetables included cabbage, onions, and garlic. included apple trees (plánočky), pears, plums, and cherries. Other crops included hemp. A well-known local dish is palovecké hrčky. A special delicacy of „Pavlova“ cuisine was koch cooked in mutton lard (pavlovaves.sk).
