Baje­rov­ce ležia na seve­ro­vý­cho­de Levočs­kých vrchov, v nad­mor­skej výš­ke 665 met­rov nad morom (baje​rov​ce​.sk). Ich roz­lo­ha je 16.11 km2 (wiki​pe​dia​.org). V býva­lom vojen­skom obvo­de Javo­ri­na. V obci žije 296 oby­va­te­ľov. Zau­jí­ma­vos­ťou je, že sa tu nachá­dza chr­bát roz­vo­dia. Z jed­nej stra­ny chrb­ta sme­ru­je potok a vlie­va sa do Sever­né­ho mora, z dru­hej stra­ny do Čier­ne­ho mora (baje​rov​ce​.sk). Naj­star­šia písom­ná zmien­ka o obci je z roku 1274. Vte­dy vlast­nil obcec Bajor­va­gaš – veľ­ký pán Tarc­za­y­ov­ský. Je mož­né, že obec zalo­ži­li Nemci, kto­rí vyru­bo­va­li lesy. Neskôr sa oby­va­te­lia veno­va­li roľ­níc­tvu, cho­vu dobyt­ka a oviec. V roku 178768-​ich domoch žilo 463 oby­va­te­ľov. His­to­ric­ké náz­vy obce: Bay­er­va­ga­sa, Baje­ro­wc­ze, Bajor­vá­gás, Bay­or­wa­ga­sa, Bey­er­haw, Bay­rocz, Bai­orocz, Bay­or. 12.9.1954 obec vyho­re­la, zni­či­lo sa 80 dre­ve­níc a 90 hos­po­dár­skych usad­los­tí (baje​rov​ce​.sk). V obci sa koná­va folk­lór­ny fes­ti­val Rusí­nov. Obec má prí­rod­ný amfi­te­áter (baje​rov​ce​.sk).


Baje­rov­ce is situ­ated in the nort­he­ast of the Levočs­ké Vrchy (Levo­ča Hills), at an alti­tu­de of 665 meters abo­ve sea level (baje​rov​ce​.sk). Its area covers 16.11 km² (wiki​pe​dia​.org). It was part of the for­mer mili­ta­ry dis­trict Javo­ri­na. The vil­la­ge is home to 296 inha­bi­tants. An inte­res­ting fea­tu­re is the rid­ge waters­hed, whe­re a stre­am flo­ws from one side, ulti­ma­te­ly rea­ching the North Sea, and from the other side, it flo­ws towards the Black Sea (baje​rov​ce​.sk). The oldest writ­ten record of the vil­la­ge dates back to 1274 when it was owned by Bajor­va­gaš – the nob­le Tarc­zay fami­ly. It is possib­le that Ger­mans, who were cle­a­ring forests, foun­ded the vil­la­ge. Later, the inha­bi­tants enga­ged in agri­cul­tu­re, catt­le far­ming, and she­ep bre­e­ding. In 1787, 463 resi­dents lived in 68 hou­ses. His­to­ri­cal names of the vil­la­ge inc­lu­de Bay­er­va­ga­sa, Baje­ro­wc­ze, Bajor­vá­gás, Bay­or­wa­ga­sa, Bey­er­haw, Bay­rocz, Bai­orocz, Bay­or. On Sep­tem­ber 12, 1954, the vil­la­ge suf­fe­red a fire, des­tro­y­ing 80 wooden hou­ses and 90 farm­ste­ads (baje​rov​ce​.sk). The vil­la­ge hosts a folk fes­ti­val dedi­ca­ted to Rusyn cul­tu­re and boasts a natu­ral amp­hit­he­a­ter (baje​rov​ce​.sk).
