Vod­ný mlyn sa dnes nachá­dza na bre­hu Malé­ho Duna­ja, v jeho blíz­kos­ti sa nachá­dza skan­zen zame­ra­ný na poľ­no­hos­po­dár­sku minu­losť obce Jel­ka. Pôvod­ný cha­rak­ter mly­nu bol lod­ný, na kolo­vý bol pre­sta­va­ný v roku 1905 (muze​um​.sk). Je pozo­ru­hod­nou tech­nic­kou pamiat­kou juho­zá­pad­né­ho Slo­ven­ska. Zre­kon­štru­ova­ný je od 18. mája 2019. V minu­los­ti boli v Jel­ke mly­ny šty­ri. Je sprí­stup­ne­ný verej­nos­ti, pôvod­ne pat­ril Joze­fo­vi Német­ho­vi, neskôr jeho syno­vi Vin­cen­to­vi a do roku 1973 vnu­ko­vi Ernes­to­vi. V mly­ne mle­li pre­važ­ne raž. Mlyn fun­go­val do aprí­la 1951 (jel​ka​.sk). Jeho mlyn­ské kole­so je funkč­né, pohá­ňa­né je však elek­tro­mo­to­rom (ces​tuj​za​me​nej​.sk). 

V are­áli mly­nu sa nachá­dza­jú ukáž­ky rôz­nych poľ­no­hos­po­dár­skych stro­jov a zaria­de­ní. Napr. sekač­ku na repu, plu­hy, lis na ľan, sane, váhy, sed­liac­ky voz, raj­tár (ces​tuj​za​me​nej​.sk). 

Vod­ný mlyn slú­žil na výro­bu múky. Jeho archi­tek­to­nic­ké rie­še­nie spá­ja funkč­nosť s este­ti­kou. Tra­dič­né prv­ky mlyn­ské­ho kole­sa, dre­ve­ná kon­štruk­cia a kamen­né ste­ny vytvá­ra­jú har­mó­niu, kto­rá kon­tras­tu­je s oko­li­tou kra­ji­nou. Kaž­dý detail, kaž­dá časť, roz­prá­va prí­beh o dáv­nych časoch, cez kto­ré pre­šiel. Miest­ni oby­va­te­lia chrá­nia a udr­žia­va­jú ten­to uni­kát­ny mlyn ako pamäť pre budú­ce gene­rá­cie. Dnes je vod­ný mlyn turis­tic­kou atrak­ci­ou aj pre mno­hých bra­ti­slav­ča­nov. Občas­ne sa tu kona­jú kul­túr­ne uda­los­ti, fes­ti­va­ly a koncerty.

The water mill is loca­ted on the bank of the Small Danu­be, near which the­re is a muse­um focu­sing on the agri­cul­tu­ral his­to­ry of the vil­la­ge of Jel­ka. The ori­gi­nal cha­rac­ter of the mill was mari­ti­me, con­ver­ted to a whe­el mill in 1905 (muze​um​.sk). It is a remar­kab­le tech­ni­cal monu­ment of sout­hwes­tern Slo­va­kia. It has been recons­truc­ted sin­ce May 18, 2019. In the past, the­re were four mills in Jel­ka. It is open to the pub­lic, ori­gi­nal­ly owned by Jozef Németh, later his son Vin­cent, and until 1973 his grand­son Ernest. The mill main­ly ground rye. The mill ope­ra­ted until April 1951 (jel​ka​.sk). Its mill whe­el is func­ti­onal, but it is powe­red by an elect­ric motor (ces​tuj​za​me​nej​.sk).

In the mill com­plex, the­re are demon­stra­ti­ons of vari­ous agri­cul­tu­ral machi­nes and equ­ip­ment. For exam­ple, a sugar beet mower, plo­ws, flax pre­ss, sled­ges, sca­les, a far­me­r’s cart, a car­ter (ces​tuj​za​me​nej​.sk).

The water mill ser­ved for flour pro­duc­ti­on. Its archi­tec­tu­ral solu­ti­on com­bi­nes func­ti­ona­li­ty with aest­he­tics. Tra­di­ti­onal ele­ments of the mill whe­el, wooden cons­truc­ti­on, and sto­ne walls cre­a­te har­mo­ny that con­trasts with the sur­roun­ding lands­ca­pe. Eve­ry detail, eve­ry part, tells a sto­ry of ancient times through which it has pas­sed. Local resi­dents pro­tect and main­tain this uni­que mill as a memo­ry for futu­re gene­ra­ti­ons. Today, the water mill is a tou­rist att­rac­ti­on even for many resi­dents of Bra­ti­sla­va. Occa­si­onal­ly, cul­tu­ral events, fes­ti­vals, and con­certs are held here.

His­to­ric­ká rega­ta v Benát­kach je atrak­tív­na kul­túr­na, kto­rá láka veľ­ké množ­stvo náv­štev­ní­kov. Akcia odka­zu­je na sláv­ne oka­mi­hy benát­skej his­tó­rie, naj­mä na sláv­ne stre­do­ve­ké víťazs­tvá. Cez rega­tu je vid­no veľa benát­skych gon­dol a iných his­to­ric­kých lodí, kto­ré sú zdo­be­né a obsa­de­né ves­lár­mi v dobo­vých kostýmoch.

His­to­ric­ká rega­ta sa koná pra­vi­del­ne v Benát­kach prvú sep­tem­bro­vú nede­ľu. Podu­ja­tie má nesku­toč­nú tra­dí­ciu, kto­rá je vní­ma­teľ­ná až pre­ky­pu­jú­ca. Koná sa od roku 1315. Pre­bie­ha naj­mä pozdĺž Canal Gran­de. His­to­ric­ká rega­ta mala svo­ju sláv­nost­nú his­to­ric­kú a špor­to­vej­šiu časť. Cel­ko­vý cha­rak­ter akcie by som vyhod­no­til ako kultúrno-​spoločenský s pomer­ne sil­ným pat­ri­otiz­mom pre domá­cich. Bolo evi­dent­né, že naj­mä pre zrel­ších oby­va­te­ľov mes­ta bola táto akcia pohla­de­ním duše. Pla­vid­lá boli rôz­ne pek­ne vyzdo­be­né v cere­mo­niál­nej čas­ti a pek­ne oble­če­ná bola aj posád­ka v nich. V špor­to­vej čas­ti sa súťa­ži­lo v rôz­nych kate­gó­riách, ja som sle­do­val len začia­tok. Súťa­ži­li ženy, muži, deti, samoz­rej­me tiež pek­ne zladení.

The His­to­ri­cal Regat­ta in Veni­ce is an att­rac­ti­ve cul­tu­ral event that att­racts a lar­ge num­ber of visi­tors. The event recalls famous moments in Vene­tian his­to­ry, espe­cial­ly the glo­ri­ous medie­val vic­to­ries. During the regat­ta, you can see many Vene­tian gon­do­las and other his­to­ri­cal boats, beau­ti­ful­ly ador­ned and man­ned by rowers in peri­od costumes.

The His­to­ri­cal Regat­ta takes pla­ce regu­lar­ly in Veni­ce on the first Sun­day of Sep­tem­ber. The event has an inc­re­dib­le tra­di­ti­on that is pal­pab­le and overf­lo­wing. It has been held sin­ce 1315, pri­ma­ri­ly along the Grand Canal. The His­to­ri­cal Regat­ta has both its fes­ti­ve his­to­ri­cal and more sports-​oriented parts. I would eva­lu­ate the ove­rall cha­rac­ter of the event as cultural-​social with a rela­ti­ve­ly strong sen­se of pat­ri­otism for the locals. It was evi­dent that this event was a soul-​soothing expe­rien­ce, espe­cial­ly for the more matu­re inha­bi­tants of the city. The boats were beau­ti­ful­ly deco­ra­ted in the cere­mo­nial part, and the cre­ws were also nice­ly dres­sed. In the sports sec­ti­on, the­re were com­pe­ti­ti­ons in vari­ous cate­go­ries, and I only wat­ched the begin­ning. Women, men, and chil­dren com­pe­ted, all ele­gan­tly coor­di­na­ted, of course.

La Rega­ta Sto­ri­ca a Vene­zia è un att­ra­en­te even­to cul­tu­ra­le che atti­ra un gran nume­ro di visi­ta­to­ri. L’e­ven­to ricor­da famo­si momen­ti del­la sto­ria vene­zia­na, in par­ti­co­la­re le glo­ri­ose vit­to­rie medie­va­li. Duran­te la rega­ta, è possi­bi­le ammi­ra­re mol­te gon­do­le vene­zia­ne e altre imbar­ca­zi­oni sto­ri­che, splen­di­da­men­te deco­ra­te e con­dot­te da rema­to­ri in cos­tu­mi d’epoca.

La Rega­ta Sto­ri­ca si svol­ge rego­lar­men­te a Vene­zia la pri­ma dome­ni­ca di set­tem­bre. L’e­ven­to ha una tra­di­zi­one inc­re­di­bi­le, per­ce­pi­bi­le fino a esse­re tra­vol­gen­te. Si tie­ne dal 1315, prin­ci­pal­men­te lun­go il Canal Gran­de. La Rega­ta Sto­ri­ca ha la sua par­te fes­to­sa e sto­ri­ca e una par­te più orien­ta­ta allo sport. Valu­te­rei il carat­te­re com­ples­si­vo del­l’e­ven­to come culturale-​sociale con un pat­ri­ot­tis­mo abbas­tan­za for­te per i loca­li. Era evi­den­te che ques­ta mani­fes­ta­zi­one fos­se un’es­pe­rien­za che toc­ca­va l’a­ni­ma, sop­rat­tut­to per gli abi­tan­ti più matu­ri del­la cit­tà. Le imbar­ca­zi­oni era­no splen­di­da­men­te deco­ra­te nel­la par­te ceri­mo­nia­le e l’e­qu­ipag­gio era altret­tan­to ben ves­ti­to. Nel­la par­te spor­ti­va, c’e­ra­no gare in varie cate­go­rie, ma ho guar­da­to solo l’i­ni­zio. Don­ne, uomi­ni e bam­bi­ni han­no gareg­gia­to, tut­ti ele­gan­te­men­te coor­di­na­ti, naturalmente.

V Bec­ko­ve sa kaž­do­roč­ne kona­jú Bec­kov­ské sláv­nos­ti. Súčas­ťou toh­to podu­ja­tia sú napr. jar­mo­ky, pre­hliad­ky his­to­ric­kých reme­siel, rôz­ne atrak­cie, súťa­že, kon­cer­ty, rytier­ske súbo­je. Sú tra­dič­nou kul­túr­nou a spo­lo­čen­skou uda­los­ťou. Kaž­do­roč­ne pri­ťa­hu­jú množ­stvo náv­štev­ní­kov. Ponú­ka­jú zau­jí­ma­vý prog­ram pre všet­ky veko­vé kate­gó­rie. Bež­ne vystu­pu­jú zná­mi umel­ci zo svo­jou hudob­ný­mi vystú­pe­nia­mi, pre­bie­ha­jú ukáž­ky ľudo­vých reme­siel, podá­va­jú sa gas­tro­no­mic­ké špe­cia­li­ty. Kona­jú sa his­to­ric­ké pre­zen­tá­cie, kto­ré oži­vu­jú his­tó­riu regi­ó­nu. Súťa­ží sa v rôz­nych kate­gó­riách, kona­jú sa výsta­vy, atrak­cie pre deti. Sláv­nos­ti majú čas­to tema­tic­ký cha­rak­ter. Bec­kov­ské sláv­nos­ti majú poten­ciál zdru­žo­vať komu­ni­tu, posil­ňo­vať vzťa­hy medzi oby­va­teľ­mi a pop­ri tom ponú­kať prí­le­ži­tosť spoz­nať bohat­stvo, kul­tú­ru regiónu.

In Bec­kov, the Bec­kov Fes­ti­vals are held annu­al­ly. The event inc­lu­des vari­ous acti­vi­ties such as mar­kets, tours of his­to­ri­cal crafts, vari­ous att­rac­ti­ons, com­pe­ti­ti­ons, con­certs, and knight­ly duels. They are a tra­di­ti­onal cul­tu­ral and social event that att­racts a lar­ge num­ber of visi­tors eve­ry year. The fes­ti­vals offer an inte­res­ting prog­ram for all age groups. Reno­wned artists com­mon­ly per­form with musi­cal pre­sen­ta­ti­ons, folk crafts are demon­stra­ted, and gas­tro­no­mic spe­cial­ties are ser­ved. His­to­ri­cal pre­sen­ta­ti­ons take pla­ce, brin­ging the regi­on’s his­to­ry to life. Com­pe­ti­ti­ons are held in dif­fe­rent cate­go­ries, exhi­bi­ti­ons are orga­ni­zed, and the­re are att­rac­ti­ons for chil­dren. The fes­ti­vals often have a the­ma­tic cha­rac­ter. Bec­kov Fes­ti­vals have the poten­tial to uni­te the com­mu­ni­ty, strengt­hen rela­ti­ons­hips among resi­dents, and, at the same time, pro­vi­de an oppor­tu­ni­ty to explo­re the rich­ness and cul­tu­re of the region.
