Vodný mlyn sa dnes nachádza brehu Malého Dunaja, v jeho blízkosti sa nachádza skanzen zameraný na poľnohospodársku . Pôvodný charakter mlynu bol lodný, na kolový bol prestavaný v roku 1905 (muzeum.sk). Je pozoruhodnou technickou pamiatkou juhozápadného Slovenska. Zrekonštruovaný je od 18. mája 2019. V minulosti boli v Jelke štyri. Je sprístupnený verejnosti, pôvodne patril Jozefovi Némethovi, neskôr jeho synovi Vincentovi a do roku 1973 vnukovi Ernestovi. V mlyne mleli prevažne . Mlyn fungoval do apríla 1951 (jelka.sk). Jeho mlynské koleso je funkčné, poháňané je však elektromotorom (cestujzamenej.sk). 

V areáli mlynu sa nachádzajú ukážky rôznych poľnohospodárskych strojov a zariadení. Napr. sekačku na repu, , lis na , , , sedliacky voz, rajtár (cestujzamenej.sk). 

Vodný mlyn slúžil na výrobu múky. Jeho architektonické riešenie spája s estetikou. Tradičné prvky mlynského kolesa, drevená konštrukcia a kamenné vytvárajú harmóniu, ktorá kontrastuje s okolitou krajinou. Každý detail, každá časť, rozpráva príbeh o dávnych časoch, cez ktoré prešiel. Miestni obyvatelia chránia a udržiavajú tento unikátny mlyn ako pre budúce . Dnes je vodný mlyn turistickou atrakciou aj pre mnohých bratislavčanov. Občasne sa tu konajú kultúrne , a .

The water mill is located on the bank of the Small Danube, near which there is a museum focusing on the agricultural history of the village of Jelka. The original character of the mill was maritime, converted to a wheel mill in 1905 (muzeum.sk). is a remarkable technical monument of southwestern . It has been reconstructed since May 18, 2019. In the past, there were four mills in Jelka. It is open to the public, originally owned by , later his son Vincent, and until 1973 his grandson Ernest. The mill mainly ground rye.
