V roku 2012 naši hoke­jis­ti neča­ka­ne donies­li na Slo­ven­sko strie­bor­né medai­ly z Maj­strovs­tiev sve­ta. Foto­gra­fo­val som ako bež­ný občan, nemal som prí­stup do ​“pri­vi­le­go­va­nej zóny”.

In 2012, our hoc­key pla­y­ers une­xpec­ted­ly brought sil­ver medals from the World Cham­pi­ons­hips to Slo­va­kia. I pho­tog­rap­hed as an ordi­na­ry citi­zen; I did not have access to the ​“pri­vi­le­ged zone.”

Festival historického šermu, hudby, tanca a remesiel na Devíne

Fes­ti­val his­to­ric­ké­ho šer­mu, hud­by, tan­ca a reme­siel na Deví­ne je pôso­bi­vou uda­los­ťou, kto­rá oži­vu­je his­tó­riu. Zahr­nu­tie tra­dič­ných reme­siel pri­dá­va ďal­ší roz­mer k zážit­ku aj hra­du Devín, umož­ňu­júc náv­štev­ní­kom sle­do­vať a oce­niť zruč­nos­ti a tech­ni­ky reme­sel­ní­kov z minu­lých čias. Fes­ti­val slú­ži ako dyna­mic­ká plat­for­ma pre účast­ní­kov i divá­kov na inte­rak­ciu s rôz­ny­mi aspekt­mi his­tó­rie, posil­ňu­júc hlbo­ké poro­zu­me­nie kul­túr­ne­mu dedič­stvu zacho­va­né­mu pro­stred­níc­tvom tých­to púta­vých foriem pre všet­ky generácie.

Rok 2009

Veľ­mi sa mi páči­li naj­mä diva­del­né ukáž­ky, kto­ré si jed­not­li­vé rytier­ske sku­pi­ny pri­pra­vi­li. Zo začiat­ku bol stre­do­ve­ký jar­mok, dnes by sme pove­da­li ukáž­ka ľudo­vých reme­siel, ale skôr his­to­ric­kých. Vza­du sa nachá­dza­la stredoveko-​praveká dedi­na, čo bolo veľ­mi zau­jí­ma­vé, pre­to­že nie­kto­rí účin­ku­jú­ci na fes­ti­va­le to bra­li naozaj veľ­mi váž­ne – viď foto­gra­fie. Vari­li stre­do­ve­ko, oble­če­ní boli stre­do­ve­ko, snáď nie­kto­rí aj star­šie … Vyš­šie na nádvo­rí bolo pódium, kde vystu­po­va­li rôz­ni zabá­va­či a pre­bie­ha­li tam napr. ukáž­ky streľ­by apod. Na svo­je si moh­li prí­sť dospe­lí aj deti. Kedy? 22. – 23.8.2009. Oce­nil som aj ceno­vo veľ­mi dob­rú ponu­ku Slo­vak Pub‑u. Okrem iné­ho si mys­lím, že ponu­ka bola aku­rát­na a obslu­ha bola taká, ako si pred­sta­vu­jem – sym­pa­tic­ká a ochot­ná a bez rečí. Dokon­ca nema­li prob­lé­my ani z mincami.

The Fes­ti­val of His­to­ri­cal Fen­cing, Music, Dan­ce, and Crafts at Devín is an impres­si­ve event that bre­at­hes life into his­to­ry. The inc­lu­si­on of tra­di­ti­onal crafts adds anot­her dimen­si­on to the expe­rien­ce, enri­ching the atmo­sp­he­re of Devín Cast­le and allo­wing visi­tors to obser­ve and app­re­cia­te the skills and tech­ni­qu­es of crafts­men from bygo­ne eras. The fes­ti­val ser­ves as a dyna­mic plat­form for par­ti­ci­pants and spec­ta­tors to inte­ract with vari­ous aspects of his­to­ry, fos­te­ring a deep unders­tan­ding of cul­tu­ral heri­ta­ge pre­ser­ved through the­se cap­ti­va­ting forms for all generations.

Year 2009

I real­ly liked espe­cial­ly the the­at­ri­cal per­for­man­ces that indi­vi­du­al knight­ly groups pre­pa­red. At the begin­ning, the­re was a medie­val fair, today we would call it a demon­stra­ti­on of folk crafts, but more his­to­ri­cal. In the back, the­re was a medieval-​prehistoric vil­la­ge, which was very inte­res­ting becau­se some par­ti­ci­pants in the fes­ti­val took it very seri­ous­ly – see pho­tos. They cooked medieval-​style, dres­sed in medie­val atti­re, some per­haps even older… Hig­her up in the cour­ty­ard, the­re was a sta­ge whe­re vari­ous enter­tai­ners per­for­med, and the­re were, for exam­ple, arche­ry demon­stra­ti­ons, and so on. Both adults and chil­dren could enjoy them­sel­ves. When? August 22 – 23, 2009. I also app­re­cia­ted the very good and rea­so­nab­ly pri­ced offer from the Slo­vak Pub. Among other things, I think the menu was accu­ra­te, and the ser­vi­ce was just as I ima­gi­ne – friend­ly and wil­ling, wit­hout unne­ces­sa­ry words. They did­n’t even have prob­lems with coins.

Cífer je s pri­dru­že­ný­mi čas­ťa­mi Pác a Jar­ná naj­väč­šou obcou Trnav­ské­ho okre­su. Žije v ňom cca 4000 oby­va­te­ľov (cifer​.sk). Naj­star­šia zmien­ka o Cífe­ri je už čias Veľ­kej Mora­vy z 9. sto­ro­čia (cifer​.sk). Z doby kamen­nej upú­ta­va množ­stvo náj­de­nej kera­mi­ky. Kolek­cia nádob rekon­štru­ova­ných z náj­de­ných frag­men­tov pred­sta­vu­je naj­rep­re­zen­ta­tív­nej­ší kera­mic­ký kom­plex nie­len na Slo­ven­sku. Našiel sa tu hli­ne­ný štít­ko­vý idol, naj­star­šia plas­ti­ka toh­to dru­hu v stred­nej Euró­pe (cifer​.sk). Z úze­mia Cífe­ra a jeho najb­liž­šie­ho oko­lia sa spo­mí­na­jú nále­zy azda naj­star­šie­ho ger­mán­ske­ho hro­bu na úze­mí Slo­ven­ska, kon­krét­ne zo začiat­ku 1. sto­ro­čia pred n.l. V Cífe­ri – Páci sa našli zvyš­ky rím­skej usad­los­ti zo 4. sto­ro­čia (cifer​.sk). Cez Cífer pre­te­ká potok Gid­ra. Pochá­dza­jú z tade­to: pla­vec Mar­cel Géry, spi­so­va­teľ Milan Zelin­ka, spe­vák a muzi­kant Laco Luče­nič, herec, dra­ma­turg a reži­sér Otto Vareč­ka (Wiki­pe­dia). Cífer­ské výšiv­ky, kro­je, šitie majú veľ­ký ohlas a boha­tú his­tó­riu (goog​le​.com). V roku 1892 bola zalo­že­ná výšiv­kár­ska diel­ňa, kde pod vede­ním Márie Hol­lós­sy­o­vej tvo­ri­li nároč­né výšiv­ky, zásta­vy, cir­kev­né a koru­no­vač­né rúcha (goog​le​.com).

Domi­nan­tou obce je kos­tol svä­té­ho Micha­la Archa­nie­la. Jeho gotic­ká archi­tek­tú­ra pri­ťa­hu­je pozor­nosť. Ďal­šou význam­nou pamiat­kou je kaš­tieľ, kto­rý v minu­los­ti slú­žil ako síd­lo šľach­ti­cov. Miest­ni oby­va­te­lia sa sna­žia udr­žia­vať tra­dí­cie pro­stred­níc­tvom folk­lór­nych podu­ja­tí. Mes­to je dob­re dostup­né z hlav­ných doprav­ných trás.

Cífer, along with its asso­cia­ted parts Pác and Jar­ná, is the lar­gest muni­ci­pa­li­ty in the Trna­va dis­trict. It has a popu­la­ti­on of app­ro­xi­ma­te­ly 4,000 resi­dents (cifer​.sk). The ear­liest men­ti­on of Cífer dates back to the times of Gre­at Mora­via in the 9th cen­tu­ry (cifer​.sk). Abun­dant finds of potte­ry from the Sto­ne Age have been dis­co­ve­red, with a col­lec­ti­on of ves­sels recons­truc­ted from found frag­ments repre­sen­ting the most repre­sen­ta­ti­ve cera­mic com­plex not only in Slo­va­kia. A clay tag-​like idol was also found here, the oldest sculp­tu­re of its kind in Cen­tral Euro­pe (cifer​.sk). Dis­co­ve­ries from the ter­ri­to­ry of Cífer and its imme­dia­te sur­roun­dings inc­lu­de per­haps the oldest Ger­ma­nic gra­ve on the ter­ri­to­ry of Slo­va­kia, spe­ci­fi­cal­ly from the begin­ning of the 1st cen­tu­ry BC. Remains of a Roman sett­le­ment from the 4th cen­tu­ry were found in Cífer – Pác (cifer​.sk).

The Gid­ra stre­am flo­ws through Cífer. Notab­le indi­vi­du­als from Cífer inc­lu­de swim­mer Mar­cel Géry, wri­ter Milan Zelin­ka, sin­ger and musi­cian Laco Luče­nič, and actor, dra­ma­tur­ge, and direc­tor Otto Vareč­ka (Wiki­pe­dia). Cífe­r’s embro­ide­ries, cos­tu­mes, and sewing have a gre­at impact and a rich his­to­ry (goog​le​.com). In 1892, an embro­ide­ry works­hop was estab­lis­hed, whe­re, under the guidan­ce of Mária Hol­lós­sy, intri­ca­te embro­ide­ries, ban­ners, church items, and coro­na­ti­on robes were cre­a­ted (goog​le​.com)

The domi­nant fea­tu­re of the vil­la­ge is the Church of St. Micha­el the Archan­gel. Its Got­hic archi­tec­tu­re att­racts atten­ti­on. Anot­her sig­ni­fi­cant monu­ment is the cast­le, which in the past ser­ved as the resi­den­ce of nobi­li­ty. Local resi­dents stri­ve to main­tain tra­di­ti­ons through folk­lo­re events. The town is easi­ly acces­sib­le from major tran­s­por­ta­ti­on routes.
