Stretnutie Európskej kryptokorynárskej spoločnosti vo Viedni

17. – 19.10.2008 sa kona­lo stret­nu­tie ​“kryp­to­ko­ry­ná­rov” – Európ­skej kryp­to­ko­ry­nár­skej spo­loč­nos­ti – ECS vo Vied­ni. Keď­že sme sa o tom dozve­de­li a Vie­deň je z Bra­ti­sla­vy na skok, roz­hod­li sme sa, že sa pôj­de­me na také­to podu­ja­tie pozrieť. Medzi akva­ris­ta­mi, resp. bota­nik­mi sú aj naši zná­mi, kto­rí boli v minu­los­ti ochot­ní vyces­to­vať tre­bárs aj do Švaj­čiar­ska na podob­né podu­ja­tie. ECS uspo­ra­dú­va totiž tie­to akcie v rôz­nych kra­ji­nách. Keď to zhr­niem, ja, Milo Pešek, Palo Sed­lák a Jož­ko Kutá­lek sme si pozre­li pred­náš­ky v pia­tok. Jož­ko Somo­gyi a Šte­fan Matuš­ka absol­vo­va­li kom­plet­ný prog­ram, Jož­ko dokon­ca aj prednášal.

Nebol mi cel­kom zná­my kom­plet­ný prog­ram, navy­še šlo aj o spo­lo­čen­skú uda­losť. Na prog­ra­me víken­du boli vždy večer od 20:00 do pol­no­ci pred­náš­ky. Cez deň sa cho­dí na takých­to akciách na neja­kú exkur­ziu. Napr. do neja­kej pes­tiar­ne rast­lín, do chov­ne rýb, neja­ké­mu akva­ris­to­vi, pes­to­va­te­ľo­vi vod­ných rast­lín apod. Prí­pad­ne je plá­no­va­ná náv­šte­va Bota­nic­kej záh­ra­dy ale­bo ZOO. Spo­loč­ne sa cho­dí na obed, na veče­ru apod. Účast­ní­ci majú zabez­pe­če­né uby­to­va­nie. Ten­to rok sa podu­ja­tia zúčast­ni­lo 35 – 40 záu­jem­cov z celej Euró­py, dokon­ca sme vide­li exo­tic­ké tvá­re snáď indic­ké­ho a fili­pín­ske­ho, mož­no thaj­ské­ho pôvodu.

Pred­ná­ša­lo sa po nemec­ky, mož­ná bola anglič­ti­na. V pia­tok a v sobo­tu sa mali pre­zen­to­vať Kai Erik Wit­te, Step­han Kar­lick, Heinz Schöp­fel, Alf­red Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somo­gyi, Niels Jacob­sen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bog­ner, Claus Kett­ner, Jan Bas­tme­i­jer. Témy pred­ná­šok sa veno­va­li napr. Sara­wa­ku, Thaj­ským kryp­to­ko­ry­nám, evo­lú­cii, hno­je­niu kryp­to­ko­rýn, Cryp­to­co­ry­ne retros­pi­ra­lis, C. nevi­lii, C. cru­da­sia­na, C. cris­pa­tu­la. Jozef Somo­gyi, kto­rý mal pred­náš­ku na Akva­ris­tic­kej zime 2007, pred­ná­šal o pes­to­va­ní kryp­to­ko­rýn. Na kon­ci piat­ko­vé­ho prog­ra­mu sme sa roz­lú­či­li, pre­dov­šet­kým so Step­ha­nom Kar­lic­kom a dosta­li sme pek­né dar­če­ky. Dozve­de­li sme sa, že ECS veľ­mi rada vide­la nové tvá­re. V prí­pa­de, že vás kryp­to­ko­ry­ny zau­jí­ma­jú viac, urči­te by ste svo­jim záj­mom Európ­sku kryp­to­ko­ry­nár­sku spo­loč­nosť pote­ši­li. Z Vied­ne sme odchá­dza­li nesko­ro v noci spo­koj­ní. Ja som bol veľ­mi zve­da­vý na špe­cia­lis­tov, kto­rí sú schop­ní a ochot­ní sa dať doko­py a nie­čo zmys­lu­pl­né zor­ga­ni­zo­vať. Vzhľa­dom na to, že náš klub​.akva​.sk 29. – 30.11.2008 poria­da akciu veno­va­nú vod­ným rast­li­nám, pozva­li sme čle­nov ECS na naše podujatie.

From Octo­ber 17th to 19th, 2008, a mee­ting of ​“cryp­to­co­ry­ne ent­hu­siasts” – the Euro­pe­an Cryp­to­co­ry­ne Socie­ty (ECS) – took pla­ce in Vien­na. Sin­ce we lear­ned about it, and Vien­na is very clo­se to Bra­ti­sla­va, we deci­ded to attend such an event. Among the aqu­arium hob­by­ists, or rat­her bota­nists, the­re are acqu­ain­tan­ces of ours who were wil­ling to tra­vel to Swit­zer­land for a simi­lar event in the past. ECS orga­ni­zes the­se events in vari­ous coun­tries. In sum­ma­ry, Milo Pešek, Palo Sed­lák, Jož­ko Kutá­lek, and I atten­ded the lec­tu­res on Fri­day. Jož­ko Somo­gyi and Šte­fan Matuš­ka com­ple­ted the enti­re prog­ram, and Jož­ko even gave a lecture.

The com­ple­te prog­ram was not enti­re­ly kno­wn to me, and it was also a social event. The wee­kend prog­ram alwa­ys inc­lu­ded lec­tu­res from 8:00 PM to mid­night. During the day at such events, the­re is usu­al­ly an excur­si­on plan­ned, such as visi­ting a plant nur­se­ry, a fish farm, an aqu­arist, a water plant cul­ti­va­tor, etc. Alter­na­ti­ve­ly, a visit to the Bota­ni­cal Gar­den or the zoo is plan­ned. Par­ti­ci­pants have lunch, din­ner, etc., toget­her. Accom­mo­da­ti­on is pro­vi­ded for the par­ti­ci­pants. This year, 35 – 40 ent­hu­siasts from all over Euro­pe atten­ded the event, and we even saw some exo­tic faces, per­haps of Indian, Fili­pi­no, or Thai origin.

The lec­tu­res were in Ger­man, possib­ly in English. On Fri­day and Satur­day, pre­sen­ta­ti­ons were sche­du­led by Kai Erik Wit­te, Step­han Kar­lick, Heinz Schöp­fel, Alf­red Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somo­gyi, Niels Jacob­sen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bog­ner, Claus Kett­ner, Jan Bas­tme­i­jer. Lec­tu­re topics cove­red Sara­wak, Thai Cryp­to­co­ry­nes, evo­lu­ti­on, fer­ti­li­za­ti­on of Cryp­to­co­ry­nes, Cryp­to­co­ry­ne retros­pi­ra­lis, C. nevi­lii, C. cru­da­sia­na, C. cris­pa­tu­la. Jozef Somo­gyi, who had a lec­tu­re at the Aqu­arium Win­ter 2007, spo­ke about cul­ti­va­ting Cryp­to­co­ry­nes. At the end of Fri­da­y­’s prog­ram, we said good­bye, espe­cial­ly to Step­han Kar­lick, and rece­i­ved nice gifts. We lear­ned that ECS was very ple­a­sed to see new faces. If you are more inte­res­ted in Cryp­to­co­ry­nes, you would cer­tain­ly ple­a­se the Euro­pe­an Cryp­to­co­ry­ne Socie­ty with your inte­rest. We left Vien­na late at night, satis­fied. I was very curi­ous about spe­cia­lists who are able and wil­ling to come toget­her and orga­ni­ze somet­hing mea­ning­ful. Con­si­de­ring that our klub​.akva​.sk is orga­ni­zing an event dedi­ca­ted to aqu­atic plants on Novem­ber 29 – 30, 2008, we invi­ted ECS mem­bers to our event.

Vom 17. bis 19. Okto­ber 2008 fand in Wien ein Tref­fen der ​“Cryptocorynen-​Enthusiasten” – der Euro­pä­is­chen Cryptocorynen-​Gesellschaft (ECS) – statt. Da wir davon erfah­ren hat­ten und Wien von Bra­ti­sla­va aus leicht zu erre­i­chen ist, besch­los­sen wir, an einer sol­chen Verans­tal­tung teil­zu­neh­men. Unter den Aqu­aria­nern bzw. Bota­ni­kern gibt es Bekann­te von uns, die in der Ver­gan­gen­he­it bere­it waren, zu ähn­li­chen Verans­tal­tun­gen sogar in die Sch­we­iz zu rei­sen. Die ECS orga­ni­siert sol­che Verans­tal­tun­gen in vers­chie­de­nen Län­dern. Zusam­men­fas­send nahmen Milo Pešek, Palo Sed­lák, Jož­ko Kutá­lek und ich an den Vor­trä­gen am Fre­i­tag teil. Jož­ko Somo­gyi und Šte­fan Matuš­ka absol­vier­ten das gesam­te Prog­ramm, und Jož­ko hielt sogar einen Vortrag.

Mir war das volls­tän­di­ge Prog­ramm nicht volls­tän­dig bekannt, und es han­del­te sich auch um eine gesells­chaft­li­che Verans­tal­tung. Das Woche­nendp­rog­ramm umfass­te immer Vor­trä­ge von 20:00 bis Mit­ter­nacht. Tag­süber steht bei sol­chen Verans­tal­tun­gen nor­ma­ler­we­i­se eine Exkur­si­on auf dem Prog­ramm, beis­piel­swe­i­se der Besuch einer Pflanz­gär­tne­rei, einer Fisch­farm, eines Aqu­aria­ners, eines Was­serpf­lan­zen­züch­ters usw. Alter­na­tiv ist ein Besuch im Bota­nis­chen Gar­ten oder im Zoo gep­lant. Die Teil­neh­mer haben geme­in­sam Mit­ta­ges­sen, Aben­des­sen usw. Die Unter­kunft wird für die Teil­neh­mer bere­it­ges­tellt. In die­sem Jahr nahmen 35 – 40 Ent­hu­sias­ten aus ganz Euro­pa an der Verans­tal­tung teil, und wir sahen sogar eini­ge exo­tis­che Gesich­ter, mög­li­cher­we­i­se indis­cher, phi­lip­pi­nis­cher oder thai­län­dis­cher Herkunft.

Die Vor­trä­ge waren auf Deutsch, mög­li­cher­we­i­se auch auf Englisch. Am Fre­i­tag und Sam­stag waren Prä­sen­ta­ti­onen von Kai Erik Wit­te, Step­han Kar­lick, Heinz Schöp­fel, Alf­red Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somo­gyi, Niels Jacob­sen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bog­ner, Claus Kett­ner, Jan Bas­tme­i­jer gep­lant. Die The­men der Vor­trä­ge umfass­ten Sara­wak, thai­län­dis­che Cryp­to­co­ry­nen, Evo­lu­ti­on, Dün­gung von Cryp­to­co­ry­nen, Cryp­to­co­ry­ne retros­pi­ra­lis, C. nevi­lii, C. cru­da­sia­na, C. cris­pa­tu­la. Jozef Somo­gyi, der einen Vor­trag beim Aqu­arium Win­ter 2007 gehal­ten hat­te, sprach über die Kul­ti­vie­rung von Cryp­to­co­ry­nen. Am Ende des Fre­i­tags­prog­ramms verab­schie­de­ten wir uns, beson­ders von Step­han Kar­lick, und erhiel­ten schöne Ges­chen­ke. Wir erfuh­ren, dass die ECS sich sehr über neue Gesich­ter fre­ute. Wenn Sie sich mehr für Cryp­to­co­ry­nen inte­res­sie­ren, wür­den Sie die Euro­pä­is­che Cryptocorynen-​Gesellschaft sicher­lich mit Ihrem Inte­res­se erf­re­uen. Wir ver­lie­ßen Wien spät in der Nacht, zuf­rie­den. Ich war sehr ges­pannt auf Fach­le­ute, die in der Lage und bere­it sind, sich zusam­men­zusch­lie­ßen und etwas Sinn­vol­les zu orga­ni­sie­ren. Ange­sichts des­sen, dass unser klub​.akva​.sk am 29. bis 30. Novem­ber 2008 eine Verans­tal­tung für Was­serpf­lan­zen orga­ni­siert, haben wir Mitg­lie­der der ECS zu unse­rer Verans­tal­tung eingeladen.

Zierfische und Aquarium – akvaristický veľtrh v Duisburgu

Ide o cho­va­teľ­ský veľ­trh, kto­rý sa ale dosť líši od iné­ho kona­né­ho v Nürn­ber­gu. Veľ­mi sa mi páči­lo, že duis­bur­gs­ký veľ­trh na mňa pôso­bil ​“tep­lo”. Nebol to biz­nis, hon­ba za veľ­kých obcho­dom, za peniaz­mi. Skôr som mal pocit, že ide o uspo­ko­je­nie oby­čaj­ných malých zákaz­ní­kov, ba dokon­ca čas­to až o pro­pa­gá­ciu akva­ris­ti­ky. Na veľ­kej plo­che sa tam pre­zen­to­va­li aj nie­kto­ré ini­cia­tí­vy ako Gar­ne­len forum, Cich­li­den Tage a napo­kon aj Dis­kus Cham­pi­onat a Bewer­tungss­chau des EHBBC – výsta­va bojov­níc. Výsta­vis­ko nav­ští­vi­lo nesku­toč­né množ­stvo ľudí, cca 40 000, výsta­va trva­la od 2.10 do 10.10.2008. Záu­jem bol asi o všet­ko, o vod­né rast­li­ny, o tech­ni­ku, lite­ra­tú­ru, ryby, výsta­vu ter­čov­cov. Tovar bol roz­ma­ni­tý, ponu­ka láka­la, ja sa urči­te do Duis­bur­gu vrá­tim. Z veľ­tr­hu sme šli do akva­ris­ti­ky Hob­by ZOO Till­mann.

It is a bre­e­ding fair, but it dif­fers quite a bit from anot­her one held in Nurem­berg. I real­ly liked that the Duis­burg fair felt ​“warm” to me. It was­n’t about busi­ness, cha­sing big deals, cha­sing money. Ins­te­ad, I had the fee­ling that it was about satis­fy­ing ordi­na­ry small cus­to­mers, and even often pro­mo­ting aqu­aris­tics. Some ini­tia­ti­ves were pre­sen­ted on a lar­ge area, such as Gar­ne­len forum, Cich­li­den Tage, and final­ly, the Dis­kus Cham­pi­ons­hip and Bewer­tungss­chau des EHBBC – the figh­ting fish exhi­bi­ti­on. An inc­re­dib­le num­ber of peop­le, app­ro­xi­ma­te­ly 40,000, visi­ted the exhi­bi­ti­on, which las­ted from Octo­ber 2nd to Octo­ber 10th, 2008. The­re was inte­rest in eve­ryt­hing, water plants, equ­ip­ment, lite­ra­tu­re, fish, and the cich­lid exhi­bi­ti­on. The goods were diver­se, the offer was enti­cing, and I will defi­ni­te­ly return to Duisburg.

Es han­delt sich um eine Zucht­bör­se, die sich jedoch ziem­lich von einer ande­ren in Nürn­berg durch­ge­fü­hr­ten unters­che­i­det. Mir gefiel sehr gut, dass die Duis­bur­ger Mes­se auf mich ​“warm” wir­kte. Es ging nicht um Ges­chäft, nicht um die Jagd nach gro­ßen Deals, nicht um Geld. Eher hat­te ich das Gefühl, dass es darum ging, die ein­fa­chen kle­i­nen Kun­den zuf­rie­den­zus­tel­len, und sogar oft um die För­de­rung der Aqu­aris­tik. Auf einer gro­ßen Flä­che prä­sen­tier­ten sich eini­ge Ini­tia­ti­ven wie Gar­ne­len­fo­rum, Cich­li­den Tage und sch­lie­ßlich auch die Dis­kus­me­is­ters­chaft und Bewer­tungss­chau des EHBBC – die Auss­tel­lung der Kampf­fis­che. Eine unglaub­li­che Anzahl von Men­schen, etwa 40.000, besuch­te die Mes­se, die vom 2. bis 10. Okto­ber 2008 dau­er­te. Es gab Inte­res­se an allem, Was­serp­lan­zen, Aus­rüs­tung, Lite­ra­tur, Fis­che und die Auss­tel­lung der Bunt­bars­che. Die Ware war viel­fäl­tig, das Ange­bot ver­loc­kend, und ich wer­de defi­ni­tiv nach Duis­burg zurückkehren.

V Žili­ne ZO Akva­fit zača­la v decem­bri 2009 orga­ni­zo­vať vždy kaž­dú prvú nede­ľu v mesia­ci v Dome tech­ni­ky na uli­ci Vyso­koš­ko­lá­kov, akva­ris­tic­kú bur­zu. Akcia sa koná spo­lu s vtáč­kar­skou (exo­tár­skou) bur­zou, kto­rá sa koná už dlhé roky. Prvá akcia sa kona­la 6.12.2009 od 6:30 do 11:30. Exo­tár­ska časť vte­dy skon­či­la 9:30, ako býva zvy­kom. Aj mňa zasko­či­lo, že akcie sa kona­jú v nede­ľu a ešte k tomu tak sko­ro ráno. Čudo­val som sa, aj keď som vedel, že exo­tá­ri to tak majú vo zvy­ku aj v iným mes­tách Slo­ven­ska. My sme sa na prvú bur­zu vybra­li šty­ria z Bra­ti­sla­vy v dvoch autách. Jeden z nás dokon­ca ani neb­ral žiad­ny tovar. Aj my ostat­ní sme šli skôr naľah­ko oťu­kať terén. Okrem nás priš­li aj Ostra­vá­ci, Polia­ci, iní Bra­ti­slav­ča­nia a neja­kí domá­ci. Veľ­mi sa nám páči­li sto­ly, kto­ré boli pev­né a aj pek­né. Páči­lo sa nám aj množ­stvo ľudí, kto­ré priš­lo. Odha­du­jem viac ako 500 ľudí. My sme dora­zi­li asi 5:45 na mies­to a už sa aj trú­si­li pome­dzi nás aj prví zákaz­ní­ci. O sied­mej hodi­ne ráno tam bol nával. Po devia­tej zača­lo ľudí evi­den­tne ubú­dať. Akva­ris­tov priš­lo samoz­rej­me pome­nej, ale to sa dalo oča­ká­vať. Exo­tá­ri však neo­hrd­li a popo­ze­ra­li aj našu ponu­ku a poda­kto­rí utra­ti­li aj dáke euryč­ká. Ja som zase rád popo­ze­ral ich vtá­ky, ale eurá som minul iba na pár­ky a kofo­lu v miest­nom pri­dru­že­nom ​“bufe­te”. Bufet bol zau­jí­ma­vý – prompt­ný, sym­pa­tic­ký per­so­nál, pre­dá­val sa aj PMDD. Snáď sa ho nik nena­pil ;-). Akva­ris­tic­ká časť ponú­ka­la ryby, rast­li­ny, kre­ve­ty, sli­má­ky, krmi­vá suché, živé, mra­ze­né. Naj­mä mra­ze­né krmi­vo bol výbor­ný tovar, plné auto kto­rým ho istý Poliak donie­sol, osta­lo sko­ro prázd­ne. Mra­ze­né ponú­ka­li aj Ostra­vá­ci, okrem toho mali živé patent­ky, koret­ry, niten­ky, daf­nie aj mik­ry. Po akcii sme sa pre­miest­ni­li tuším štyr­mi auta­mi ku Jan­ko­vi Budai­ovi, kde nám uká­zal jeho kle­no­ty. Po odcho­de od Jana sme nabra­li kurz Bratislava.

Medzi­tým sa kona­lo už množ­stvo tých­to búrz. Reak­cie na ne nebo­li vždy len pozi­tív­ne. Pikoš­ky, kto­ré šli v Bra­ti­sla­ve, v Žili­ne nech­cel sko­ro nikto. Dru­há taká­to spo­loč­ná exotársko-​akvaristická akcia bola 3.1.2010, čo je z môj­ho pohľa­du hroz­ný ter­mín. Napriek tomu pre­beh­la ku spo­koj­nos­ti všet­kých :-)). Kaž­do­pád­ne si mys­lím, také­to akcie sa nám páči­li po kaž­dej strán­ke. Vďa­ka tra­dí­cii exo­tá­rov a pra­vi­del­nos­ti budú pre nás prí­no­som. Mys­lím samoz­rej­me aj na pozí­ciu pre­daj­cov aj zákaz­ní­kov. Samoz­rej­mé je aj to, že záuj­my exo­tá­rov a akva­ris­tov sa pre­lí­na­jú aj odli­šu­jú. Ich moti­vá­cia cho­vať aj kupo­vať je podob­ná. Teším sa pre­to na ďal­šie akcie.

In Žili­na, the Zoolo­gi­cal Orga­ni­za­ti­on Akva­fit star­ted orga­ni­zing an aqu­arium mar­ket eve­ry first Sun­day of the month at the Hou­se of Tech­no­lo­gy on Vyso­koš­ko­lá­kov Stre­et in Decem­ber 2009. The event is held toget­her with an exo­tic bird mar­ket, which has been taking pla­ce for many years. The first event took pla­ce on Decem­ber 6, 2009, from 6:30 to 11:30. The exo­tic part ended at 9:30, as is cus­to­ma­ry. I was sur­pri­sed that the events take pla­ce on Sun­da­ys and so ear­ly in the mor­ning, alt­hough I knew that exo­tic ent­hu­siasts have this habit in other cities in Slovakia.

Four of us from Bra­ti­sla­va atten­ded the first mar­ket in two cars. One of us did­n’t even bring any goods; we were the­re to explo­re the ter­rain light­ly. Besi­des us, par­ti­ci­pants came from Ostra­va, Poland, other Bra­ti­sla­vans, and some locals. We liked the stur­dy and nice-​looking tab­les and were impres­sed by the num­ber of peop­le atten­ding. I esti­ma­te more than 500 peop­le were pre­sent. We arri­ved around 5:45 am, and the first cus­to­mers were alre­a­dy min­gling among us. By 7 am, the­re was a rush, and after 9 am, the num­ber of peop­le star­ted to dec­re­a­se. Natu­ral­ly, fewer aqu­arium ent­hu­siasts atten­ded, but that was expec­ted. Exo­tic bird ent­hu­siasts also explo­red our offe­rings, and some spent a few euros. I enjo­y­ed looking at the­ir birds, but I only spent money on hot dogs and cola at the local ​“buf­fet,” which was inte­res­ting – prompt ser­vi­ce, friend­ly staff, and they even sold PMDD. Hope­ful­ly, no one drank it ;-). The aqu­arium sec­ti­on offe­red fish, plants, shrimp, snails, and vari­ous types of dry, live, and fro­zen feeds. Espe­cial­ly the fro­zen feed was excel­lent; a full car brought by a cer­tain Pole was almost emp­ty by the end. The Ostra­va par­ti­ci­pants also offe­red fro­zen goods, along with live kil­li­fish, cat­fish, loaches, daph­nia, and baby bri­ne shrimp.

After the event, we moved with about four cars to Jan­ko Budai­o’s pla­ce, whe­re he sho­wed us his tre­a­su­res. After lea­ving Jan­ko­’s, we set cour­se for Bra­ti­sla­va. Mean­whi­le, seve­ral such mar­kets have taken pla­ce. Reac­ti­ons to them were not alwa­ys posi­ti­ve. Trin­kets that sold well in Bra­ti­sla­va were not desi­red in Žili­na. The second joint exotic-​aquarium event was on Janu­ary 3, 2010, which, from my per­spec­ti­ve, was a ter­rib­le date. Nevert­he­less, it went well to eve­ry­o­ne­’s satis­fac­ti­on. In any case, we liked such events from eve­ry aspect. Thanks to the tra­di­ti­on of exo­tic ent­hu­siasts and the regu­la­ri­ty, they will be bene­fi­cial for us. I also think about the posi­ti­on of both sel­lers and cus­to­mers. It’s evi­dent that the inte­rests of exo­tic ent­hu­siasts and aqu­arium ent­hu­siasts over­lap and dif­fer. The­ir moti­va­ti­on to bre­ed and buy is simi­lar. I look for­ward to futu­re events.

Medzi­ná­rod­ná výsta­va bojov­níc v Martine

ZO SZCH AKVA Mar­tin uspo­ria­da­la medzi­ná­rod­nú súťaž sam­cov bojov­níc v dňoch 15. – 16.9.2007 v Mar­ti­ne, v pries­to­roch Cen­tra voľ­né­ho času Kama­rát na ul. A. Kme­ťa 22. Súčas­ťou akcie bola aj kolek­cia nie­koľ­kých výstav­ných nádr­ži a bur­za akvá­ri­ových rýb.

Sedím v reštau­rá­cii, podo­tý­kam v mexic­kej, je mi veľ­mi dob­re. Poliev­ka mi chu­tí ako málo­ke­dy, neva­dí že je štip­ľa­vá ako čert. V uli­ciach Mar­ti­na nie je veľ­mi ruš­no, vlád­ne sobot­ná polud­ňaj­šia sies­ta a ja so Sil­vom si pochut­ná­va­me na obe­de. Asi po 5 lyžič­ke fazu­ľo­vej dob­ro­ty mi napad­lo napí­sať svo­je doj­my z výsta­vy v Mar­ti­ne. Sluš­ne som sa ohlá­sil deň vopred, keď­že ma chlap­ci v Mar­ti­ne poznajú.

Našiel som si spo­loč­nosť, bolo mi pote­še­ním ces­to­vať so Sil­ves­te­rom. Oba­ja máme radi vzduch a voľ­ný pries­tor, tak sme pek­ne krás­ne šli vla­kom. Keď sme dora­zi­li do Mar­ti­na, zašli sme sa hneď uká­zať, že sme krás­ni, zdra­ví a sil­ní a sme tu. Vele­niu výsta­vy sme obo­zná­mi­li, že sme hlad­ní, a keď­že vlkov tre­ba nasý­tiť, tak sme šli nájsť neja­ké oveč­ky. Obdo­ba ame­ric­ké­ho občerstve­nia v matič­nom mes­te sa nám nija­ko nepá­či­la, tak sme hľa­da­li nie­čo vhod­nej­šie. Mali sme troš­ku prob­lé­my s navi­gá­ci­ou, ako­si sme neve­de­li pod­ľa sme­ro­vých šípok nájsť dve­re, ani iný podob­ný otvor, ale napo­kon sme sa úspeš­ne ocit­li na masív­nom dre­ve­nom nábyt­ku miest­nej mexi­čan­ky. Zrej­me pošle­me demarš európ­skej únii s tým, že máme pocit, že apa­či by označ­ko­va­li ces­tu na salaš lep­šie. Budem galant­ný, a poviem že ja som sa naozaj výbor­ne naje­dol. Rúno mi síce nezos­ta­lo, ale jed­lo bolo bož­ské a aj množ­stvo sa mi pozdávalo.

Na výsta­ve nás pek­ne pri­ví­ta­li. Zau­ja­lo ma dob­ro­voľ­né vstup­né. Mar­tin­ský klub sa pochla­pil, vyho­to­vil pre bojov­ni­ce pek­né dre­vom oblo­že­né sto­ja­ny. Na vrchu sa pýšil nápis ​“Medzi­ná­rod­ná súťaž bojov­níc Bet­ta splen­dens Mar­tin 2007. Ofi­ciál­ny názov akcie bol: Medzi­ná­rod­né maj­strov­stvá Bet­ta splen­dens, 3. kolo Mar­tin 14.9.2007. Posu­dzo­va­li: Holm Arndt, Sla­vo­mil Boud­ný a Ján Budai. Ako adept posu­dzo­va­teľ bol prí­tom­ný Alf­red Gor­ny. Pred­se­dom posu­dzo­va­teľ­skej komi­sie bol Janusz Ozi­omek. Posu­dzo­va­lo sa pod­ľa štan­dar­du, kto­rý pre­fe­ru­je SZCH, a kto­ré­ho tak­po­ve­diac krst­ným otcom je Holm Arndt. Výsta­vy sa zúčast­ni­lo 39 cho­va­te­ľov zo šty­roch štá­tov, ôsmich orga­ni­zá­cií, kto­rí posla­li 90 kolek­cií. Náš klub sa takis­to zúčast­nil vďa­ka Bra­ni­sla­vo­vi Bar­či­no­vi. Ria­di­te­ľov výsta­vy bol Ľudo­vít Fuj­ko. Mňa osob­ne naj­viac oslo­vil samec Sláv­ka Boud­né­ho. Okrem bojov­níc tu boli pek­né nádr­že, kde boli okrem iné­ho nád­her­né tet­ry čie­ne, per­lov­ky, krás­ne gura­my per­le­ťo­vé, tet­ry cisár­ske. Ponu­ku pre náv­štev­ní­kov dopĺňa­la bur­za rybi­čiek, rast­lín a iné­ho akva­ris­tic­ké­ho tova­ru. Ostat­ne pozri­te sa na foto­gra­fie niž­šie. Na akcii sme si vyme­ni­li infor­má­cie naj­mä s mar­tin­ský­mi kole­ga­mi, dokon­ca aj s pánom Nor­ber­tom Dokou­pi­lom z Bra­ti­sla­vy. Veľ­mi ma teší, že som spoz­nal Igo­ra Buko­vé­ho z mar­tin­skej orga­ni­zá­cie a pev­ne verím, že spo­lu­prá­ca s ním mne, aj náš­mu klu­bu pri­ne­sie osoh. Dúfam, že sa vám foto­gra­fie budú páčiť a želám vám úspeš­ný chov.

Inter­na­ti­onal Bet­ta Exhi­bi­ti­on in Martin

The SZCH AKVA Mar­tin orga­ni­zed an inter­na­ti­onal com­pe­ti­ti­on for male Bet­ta splen­dens on Sep­tem­ber 15 – 16, 2007, in Mar­tin, at the Cen­ter of Free Time ​“Kama­rát” on A. Kme­ťa Stre­et 22. The event inc­lu­ded a col­lec­ti­on of exhi­bi­ti­on tanks and an aqu­arium fish exchange.

Sit­ting in a res­tau­rant, a Mexi­can one, I must emp­ha­si­ze that I’m enjo­y­ing myself very much. The soup tas­tes like rare­ly befo­re, even though it’s spi­cy as the devil. The stre­ets of Mar­tin are not very busy; the Satur­day mid­day sies­ta reigns, and Sil­vo and I are relis­hing our lunch. After about five spo­on­fuls of bean good­ness, I thought about sha­ring my impres­si­ons of the exhi­bi­ti­on in Mar­tin. I announ­ced my arri­val a day in advan­ce sin­ce the guys in Mar­tin know me.

I found good com­pa­ny, and it was a ple­a­su­re to tra­vel with Sil­ves­ter. Both of us enjoy fresh air and open spa­ce, so we had a nice and beau­ti­ful train jour­ney. When we arri­ved in Mar­tin, we imme­dia­te­ly sho­wed that we are beau­ti­ful, healt­hy, strong, and here. We infor­med the exhi­bi­ti­on com­mand that we were hun­gry, and sin­ce wol­ves need to be fed, we went to find some she­ep. The local ver­si­on of an Ame­ri­can fast-​food joint did­n’t appe­al to us, so we looked for somet­hing more suitab­le. We had a bit of troub­le with navi­ga­ti­on; some­how we could­n’t find the door accor­ding to the direc­ti­onal arro­ws, or any simi­lar ope­ning. But even­tu­al­ly, we suc­cess­ful­ly ended up on the mas­si­ve wooden fur­ni­tu­re of a local Mexi­can lady. We might send a demar­che to the Euro­pe­an Uni­on, sta­ting that we feel the Apa­ches would mark the path to the shep­herd bet­ter. I’ll be gal­lant and say that I real­ly ate well. My fur did­n’t stay, but the food was divi­ne, and I liked the amount.

We were warm­ly wel­co­med at the exhi­bi­ti­on. I was intri­gu­ed by the volun­ta­ry entran­ce fee. The Mar­tin club man­ned up, made nice wooden stands for the bet­tas, proud­ly disp­la­y­ing the insc­rip­ti­on ​“Inter­na­ti­onal Bet­ta splen­dens Cham­pi­ons­hip Mar­tin 2007.” The offi­cial name of the event was: Inter­na­ti­onal Cham­pi­ons­hip Bet­ta splen­dens, 3rd round Mar­tin on Sep­tem­ber 14, 2007. Jud­ges: Holm Arndt, Sla­vo­mil Boud­ný, and Ján Budai. As an aspi­ring jud­ge, Alf­red Gor­ny was pre­sent. The chair­man of the jud­ging com­mit­tee was Janusz Ozi­omek. Jud­ging was done accor­ding to the stan­dard pre­fer­red by SZCH, essen­tial­ly cre­a­ted by Holm Arndt. Thirty-​nine bre­e­ders from four coun­tries and eight orga­ni­za­ti­ons par­ti­ci­pa­ted, sen­ding 90 col­lec­ti­ons. Our club also par­ti­ci­pa­ted, thanks to Bra­ni­slav Bar­čin. The exhi­bi­ti­on direc­tor was Ľudo­vít Fuj­ko. Per­so­nal­ly, I was most impres­sed by Slav­ko Boud­ný­’s bet­ta male. Besi­des bet­tas, the­re were beau­ti­ful tanks with, among others, stun­ning Sia­me­se figh­ting fish, pearl gou­ra­mis, and empe­ror tetras. The offer for visi­tors was com­ple­men­ted by a fish exchan­ge, plant exchan­ge, and other aqu­arium goods. Check out the pho­tos below. At the event, we exchan­ged infor­ma­ti­on main­ly with Mar­tin col­le­a­gu­es, even with Mr. Nor­bert Dokou­pil from Bra­ti­sla­va. I’m deligh­ted to have met Igor Buko­vý from the Mar­tin orga­ni­za­ti­on, and I firm­ly belie­ve that coope­ra­ti­on with him will bring bene­fits to me and our club. Akvá­ri­um 2006 – MS Gup­py 2006 a iné výstavy

V dňoch 7. – 15.10.2006 sa v pries­to­roch bota­nic­kej záh­ra­dy v Pra­he kona­la výsta­va akvá­ri­ových rýb. Jej súčas­ťou bola aj výsta­va WGC – to zna­me­ná, že praž­ská výsta­va mala šta­tút maj­strovs­tiev sve­ta v kate­gó­rií Gup­py. Ďal­ší­mi súčas­ťa­mi bola súťaž MČR Gup­py a ME Xipho-​Molly, tema­tic­ké súťaž­né kolek­cie halan­čí­ky, kolek­cia divo­kých živo­ro­diek, bez­sta­vov­cov a stu­de­no­vod­ných rýb.

3. mezi­ná­rod­ní výsta­va halančíků

Výsta­va sa kona­la 22. – 25.06.2006 v Bota­nic­kej záh­ra­de UK v Pra­he, Na Slu­pi 15, Pra­ha 2. V nede­ľu 25.06 sa kona­la draž­ba, kto­rej sa zúčast­nil aj Mar­tin Haláč, a neja­ké rybič­ky tam aj vydra­žil :-)). Výsta­vy som sa zúčast­nil veľ­mi rád, napo­kon sú to krás­ne ryby po kaž­dej strán­ke. V rám­ci akcie sa kona­la aj pre­daj rýb a čias­toč­ne aj tech­ni­ky, pomô­cok, atď.

Akvá­ri­um 2005 – Maj­strov­stvá Čes­kej repub­li­ky Xipho-​Molly + Poeci­lia reticulata

Výsta­va nies­la názov Akvá­ri­um 2005, kona­la sa v pries­to­roch Bota­nic­kej záh­ra­dy – Na Slu­pi 16, 120 00 Pra­ha 2. Súčas­ťou výsta­vy bola aj výsta­va kap­ro­zú­biek – halan­čí­kov (cez 80 dru­hov) Čes­ké halan­čí­kar­ske spo­leč­nos­ti, a Klu­bu přá­tel divo­kých živo­ro­diek a neja­ké nádr­že spo­lo­čen­ské, typo­vé, pove­dal by som vše­ho­chuť, a čosi sa dalo aj nakúpiť.

Aqu­arium 2006 – Gup­py World Cham­pi­ons­hip 2006 and Other Exhibitions

From Octo­ber 7 to Octo­ber 15, 2006, an aqu­arium fish exhi­bi­ti­on took pla­ce in the pre­mi­ses of the bota­ni­cal gar­den in Pra­gue. It inc­lu­ded the WGC exhi­bi­ti­on, mea­ning that the Pra­gue exhi­bi­ti­on had the sta­tus of the World Cham­pi­ons­hip in the Gup­py cate­go­ry. Other parts of the event inc­lu­ded the Czech Repub­lic Gup­py Cham­pi­ons­hip, Euro­pe­an Xipho-​Molly Cham­pi­ons­hip, the­ma­tic com­pe­ti­ti­on col­lec­ti­ons of sword­tails, col­lec­ti­ons of wild live­be­a­rers, inver­teb­ra­tes, and cold-​water fish.

3rd Inter­na­ti­onal Sword­tail Exhibition

The exhi­bi­ti­on took pla­ce from June 22 to June 25, 2006, at the Bota­ni­cal Gar­den of Char­les Uni­ver­si­ty in Pra­gue, Na Slu­pi 15, Pra­gue 2. On Sun­day, June 25, an auc­ti­on was held, atten­ded by Mar­tin Haláč, who suc­cess­ful­ly bid on some fish :-)). I was very hap­py to par­ti­ci­pa­te in the exhi­bi­ti­ons; after all, the­se are beau­ti­ful fish in eve­ry way. The event also inc­lu­ded the sale of fish and, to some extent, equ­ip­ment, acces­so­ries, etc.

Aqu­arium 2005 – Czech Repub­lic Cham­pi­ons­hip Xipho-​Molly + Poeci­lia reticulata

The exhi­bi­ti­on was named Aqu­arium 2005 and took pla­ce in the pre­mi­ses of the Bota­ni­cal Gar­den at Na Slu­pi 16, 120 00 Pra­gue 2. The exhi­bi­ti­on inc­lu­ded a disp­lay of sword­tails (over 80 spe­cies) by the Czech Sword­tail Socie­ty and the Club of Friends of Wild Live­be­a­rers. Vari­ous types of tanks, inc­lu­ding com­mu­ni­ty tanks and type tanks, were also exhi­bi­ted, and some items were avai­lab­le for purchase.
