My máme prehľad kedy a koľko samičiek porodilo, koľko majú mladých. Jednoducho sa dá zistiť koľko samičiek rodilo.

Adult livebearer fish typically devour freshly born fry. Breeding traps are used to preserve as many young fish as possible after birth. To make a breeding trap, you need: a PET bottle, preferably 2 liters, a mesh (e.g., from fruit baskets), at least 3 rubber bands, 10 cm of wire, scissors, and a knife. Simply cut the PET bottle, attach the mesh, secure it with rubber bands, and hang it on the aquarium wall using wire. It’s advisable to cover the top of the breeding trap. As seen in the photos, it is a straightforward process. Why this type of breeding trap? Because it costs us nothing financially, we can make it without much effort, and in a short period. Handling it in the aquarium is undemanding. A gravid female has what is crucial during livebearer birth – privacy. We have an overview of when and how many females gave birth, and how many fry they have. It is easy to determine how many females gave birth.
