Veľ­mi žra­vý druh pat­ria­ci do čeľa­de Ampul­la­ri­i­dae. Je úpl­ne nevhod­ný do rast­lin­ných akvá­rií. Obľu­bu­je rast­li­ny a doká­že ich skon­zu­mo­vať veľ­ké množ­stvo v krát­kej dobe. Živí sa aj ria­sa­mi, pre­to sa hodí do ​“kamen­ných” nádr­ží bez vod­ných rast­lín, v kto­rých žerie zvyš­ky potra­vy a ria­sy. Aj šte­tin­ko­vé ria­sy. Napr. do akvá­rií s afric­ký­mi cich­li­da­mi. Kla­die vajíč­ka v rôso­lo­vi­tom sli­ze. Bola náj­de­ná v Bra­zí­lii, v Hon­du­ra­se, vo Vene­zu­e­le, v Pana­me, v Kos­ta­ri­ke, na Flo­ri­de, v Texa­se (Ale­xan­dra Beh­rendt).

A high­ly vora­ci­ous spe­cies belo­n­ging to the Ampul­la­ri­i­dae fami­ly. It is enti­re­ly unsu­itab­le for plan­ted aqu­ariums. It favors plants and can con­su­me a lar­ge amount of them in a short peri­od. It also feeds on algae, making it suitab­le for ​“roc­ky” tanks wit­hout aqu­atic plants, whe­re it con­su­mes lef­to­ver food and algae, inc­lu­ding fila­men­tous algae. For exam­ple, in aqu­ariums with Afri­can cich­lids. It lays eggs in a gela­ti­nous sli­me. It has been found in Bra­zil, Hon­du­ras, Vene­zu­e­la, Pana­ma, Cos­ta Rica, Flo­ri­da, and Texas (Ale­xan­dra Behrendt).

Eine sehr gef­rä­ßi­ge Art, die zur Fami­lie der Ampul­la­ri­i­dae gehört. Sie eig­net sich über­haupt nicht für bepf­lanz­te Aqu­arien. Sie bevor­zugt Pflan­zen und kann in kur­zer Zeit eine gro­ße Men­ge davon ver­zeh­ren. Sie ernä­hrt sich auch von Algen, was sie für ​“ste­i­ni­ge” Bec­ken ohne Was­serpf­lan­zen gee­ig­net macht, in denen sie Rest­fut­ter und Algen, ein­sch­lie­ßlich faden­för­mi­ger Algen, frisst. Zum Beis­piel in Aqu­arien mit afri­ka­nis­chen Bunt­bars­chen. Sie legt Eier in sch­le­i­mi­ger Gela­ti­ne. Rybí dům v Chotěbuzi

Na akva­ris­tic­kom puto­va­ní som sa rad dostal aj do Rybí­ho důmu v Cho­těbu­zi. Vnút­ri sú okrem veľ­kých nádr­ží aj men­šie akvá­ria, obchod, reštau­rá­cia a von­ku vod­ná nádrž, kde sa dá za popla­tok chy­tať ryby. Videl som, že sem cho­dí naozaj dosť ľudí, napriek tomu, že neďa­le­ko je len malá obec.

V pia­tich obrích akvá­riách o kapa­ci­te 300 000 lit­rov vody sa nachá­dza domá­ca ich­ty­o­fau­na – kapor, štu­ka, sumec, jese­ter, lieň atď. V men­ších nádr­žiach, 150 – 700 lit­ro­vých sú tro­pic­ké a subt­ro­pic­ké dru­hy rýb (rybi​dum​.cz). V rám­ci are­álu sa nachá­dza reštau­rá­cia, pre­daj­ňa rýb a dá sa tu aj uby­to­vať (rybi​dum​.cz).

On my aqu­arium jour­ney, I also had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to visit the Rybí dům in Cho­těbuz. Insi­de, along with lar­ge tanks, the­re are smal­ler aqu­ariums, a shop, a res­tau­rant, and out­si­de, the­re is a water reser­vo­ir whe­re you can fish for a fee. I noti­ced that quite a few peop­le come here, des­pi­te the fact that the­re is only a small vil­la­ge nearby.

In the five giant tanks with a capa­ci­ty of 300,000 liters of water, the­re is a col­lec­ti­on of local icht­hy­o­fau­na, inc­lu­ding carp, pike, cat­fish, stur­ge­on, and tench, among others. In smal­ler tanks ran­ging from 150 to 700 liters, you can find tro­pi­cal and subt­ro­pi­cal fish spe­cies (rybi​dum​.cz). Wit­hin the pre­mi­ses, the­re is a res­tau­rant, a fish shop, and accom­mo­da­ti­ons are also avai­lab­le (rybi​dum​.cz).

Okná sú tichý­mi sved­ka­mi času a spro­stred­ko­va­te­lia medzi vnú­tor­ným a von­kaj­ším sve­tom. Majú v našich živo­toch výni­moč­né mies­to. Sú to nie­len fyzic­ké otvo­ry v ste­nách, ale aj este­tic­ké, funkč­né a his­to­ric­ké prv­ky, kto­ré nám posky­tu­jú pohľad na svet a záro­veň nám umož­ňu­jú poznať minu­losť. Dizajn okien a ich umiest­ne­nie tvo­ria jedi­neč­ný cha­rak­ter domu. Okná s rôz­ny­mi tvar­mi a ozdo­ba­mi čas­to odha­ľu­jú archi­tek­to­nic­ké tren­dy ich doby. Záro­veň vytvá­ra­jú pre­po­je­nie medzi exte­ri­é­rom a inte­ri­é­rom, dopl­ňu­júc pries­tor svet­lom a vzdu­chom. Fun­kcia okien pre­sa­hu­je posky­to­va­nie výhľa­du.
