Slovensko – krajina v srdci Európy

Hits: 11492

Slovensko leží v srdci Európy. Hraničí s Poľskom, Českom, Rakúskom, Maďarskom a Ukrajinou.

425 kaštieľov, 180 hradov, zámkov a zrúcanín (slovakia.eu.sk).

Významné osobnosti: Juraj Jánošík – zbojník a ľudový hrdina, ktorý bohatým bral a chudobným dával, Ľudovít Štúr – kodifikátor spisovnej slovenčiny, Milan Rastislav Štefánik – vedec, politik, vojak, zakladateľ československého štátu, Alexander Dubček – štátnik, osobnosť Pražskej jari 1968 (slovakiasite.com). Gastronomické charakteristické jedlá: parenica, ovčí syr, syrové korbáčiky, oštiepok, bryndra, skalický trdelník, bratislavské rožky (mpsr.sk), tokajské víno, kapustnica, pirohy, lokše, tlačenka, jaternice, pagáče a napokon aj kofola. Z tvrdého alkoholu sú známe: borovička, slivovica, demänovka. Slovensko je veľmi bohaté na minerálne pramene – minerálky: Budiš, Gemerka, Fatra, Santovka, Salvator, Rajec, Ľubovnianka, Mitická, Lucka a mnoho iných.

Slovakia lies in the heart of Europe. It borders Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, and Ukraine. It is a mountainous country, with beautiful mountains such as the Malá Fatra, Nízke Tatry, and Vysoké Tatry. Almost the entire territory is part of the Carpathian arc. From a geological and geothermal perspective, Slovakia is a very rich country.

Slovakia boasts 1200 discovered caves, of which only 14 are accessible to the public. The longest is the Demänovský Cave System, which spans more than 30 km. The deepest is Starý hrad in the Nízke Tatry, with a depth of 432 meters. The longest river is the Váh, which flows for 406 km. The highest waterfall is Kmeťov vodopád in the Vysoké Tatry, at 80 meters. The windiest place is Chopok. The rainiest place is Zbojnícka chata. The largest mountain range is the Ondavská vrchovina, covering an area of 1,320 km² (slovakia.eu.sk). Slovakia is home to the world’s largest wooden altar – the Church of St. James in Levoča, the geographical center of Europe in the Kremnické vrchy, the only cold artesian spring in Europe – Herliansky gejzír near Košice, the largest castle complex in Central Europe – Spišský hrad, the highest peak in the Carpathians – Gerlachovský štít, the oldest public park in Central Europe – Sad Janka Kráľa in Bratislava (visitslovakia.com). Slovakia has the largest number of castles and chateaus in Europe: 425 castles, 180 ruins of castles and chateaus (slovakia.eu.sk). As of May 21, 2011, the population was 5,397,036 inhabitants (statistics.sk). More than 57% of them live in cities (slovakia.eu.sk).

Slovaks predominantly inhabit Slovakia. Minority groups include Hungarians, Roma, Ukrainians, Czechs, and Germans. Slovakia has various specific regions with historical origins: Hont, Gemer, Tekov, Turiec, Liptov, Spiš, Šariš, Abov, Zemplín, Uh, Novohrad, Orava. Sometime in the 5th century, the Slavs arrived, who were later attacked, among others, by the Avars, whom we later expelled. Approximately from this territory. Nevertheless, many Avars assimilated. According to newer sources, it is questionable how far Roman settlement extended at a certain period. Nevertheless, remnants of Roman settlement have been found in several places in Slovakia.

The first settlement of Slovakia dates back to the end of the Paleolithic, 250 thousand years ago, with localities such as Gánovce, where the skull of a Neanderthal was found, and Moravany, where the Venus figurine was found – the so-called Moravian Venus. The first farmers appeared here around 5,0004,000 years before Christ. From the end of the 4th century BC, the Celts arrived. In the 1st century BC, the Dacians. From the beginning of the 1st century, the Germans arrived – the Kingdom of Vannio. The first Slovaks probably settled our territory in the 5th century (Wikipedia).

The first state entity of the Slavs in the territory of today’s Slovakia was the Samo’s Empire in the 7th century. Later, the Principality of Nitra, which merged with the Moravian Principality in 833 to form Great Moravia (Wikipedia). This was a very significant episode in the history of that period, as it was a relatively strong state. Roughly until this period falls the visit of the Thessalonian brothers Cyril and Methodius in the 9th century, who preached the Christian faith in our territory. From a cultural perspective, this was a very significant shift. They succeeded in making Old Church Slavonic the liturgical language alongside Latin, which was recognized by the pope. It is worth considering the fact that these were the only two languages in which Mass could be celebrated at that time. Around the 10th century, the Hungarians arrived, who, like the Avars in the 5th century, were nomadic. However, they encountered resistance from the Slavs, as well as from the Romans and Germans. More or less, they had nowhere to go, so they settled here and learned to cultivate the land. From the 10th century, Slovakia was part of Hungary, and from the 19th century, Austria-Hungary. Bratislava, today’s capital, was for a long time the coronation city. Since 1918, Slovakia has been part of Czechoslovakia, with a brief break as an independent Slovak state during World War II. Since January 1, 1993, the Slovak Republic has been an independent state. Since May 1, 2004, we have been members of the European Union, since March 29, 2004, members of NATO, since January 1, 2009, members of the Eurozone – the European Monetary Union, with the euro becoming the official currency.

Throughout history, Slovakia has been invaded many times by the Tatars, Turks, but in terms of territorial integrity, it has withstood. It is true that the Turks and Tatars had other goals, which often forced them to leave Slovak territory. However, even Germanic or Roman attacks were not excessive. The castles that were in Slovakia in the past were relatively well-fortified and in the past, they successfully resisted enemies. Often our opponents were helped to capture them by betrayal. Until the Middle Ages, for example, the castles in Devín, in Fiľakovo, were a major obstacle to enemies. Finally, even Bratislava Castle. After all, Bratislava was long called the stone city.” A bad period for the common people was after 1526 and lasted roughly until 1868. It is interesting that some realities from that period also entered the vocabulary – the term Turkish economy” comes precisely from the Middle Ages. The point is that the Turk just took and did not care. The Turks didn’t care what would happen when they used the harvest; they didn’t care about the future, they just went on, squeezing someone else.

In terms of culture, the existence of the Academia Istropolitana – one of the oldest universities in Europe – was significant. It was founded by Matthias Corvinus in Bratislava around 1466. In 1787, Anton Bernolák codified the written Slovak language for the first time based on the Western Slovak dialect – Bernolák’s Slovak. Since 1843, thanks to Ľudovít Štúr, the written Slovak language has been codified based on the Central Slovak dialect.

The most people live in the cities of Bratislava, Košice, Prešov, Nitra, Žilina, Banská Bystrica, Trnava, Martin, Trenčín, Poprad, Prievidza, Zvolen (slovakiasite.com). National parks: TANAP – Tatra National Park, NAPANT – Low Tatras National Park, Veľká Fatra, Malá Fatra, Pieniny (PIENAP), Poloniny, Slovak Paradise, Slovak Karst, Muránska planina (slovakiasite.com). The most significant holidays: Christmas, Easter, St. Nicholas Day, St. Lucia Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Children’s Day, Mother’s Day, All Saints’ Day, Carnival (slovakiasite.com). Significant personalities: Juraj Jánošík – a brigand and folk hero who took from the rich and gave to the poor, Ľudovít Štúr – codifier of the written Slovak language, Milan Rastislav Štefánik – scientist, politician, soldier, co-founder of the Czechoslovak state, Alexander Dubček – statesman, figure of the Prague Spring of 1968 (slovakiasite.com). Gastronomic characteristic dishes: parenica, sheep cheese, cheese whips, oštiepok, bryndza, Skalica trdelník, Bratislava rolls (mpsr.sk), Tokaj wine, cabbage soup, pierogi, potato pancakes, tlačenka, liver sausage, pagáče, and finally kofola. From hard alcohol, borovička, slivovica, Demänovka are well known. Slovakia is very rich in mineral springs – mineral waters: Budiš, Gemerka, Fatra, Santovka, Salvator, Rajec, Ľubovnianka, Mitická, Lucka, and many others.

Z kulturowego punktu widzenia istnienie Academia Istropolitana – jednego z najstarszych uniwersytetów w Europie – miało znaczenie. Założył go Matej Korvín w Bratysławie około 1466 roku.

Wybitne osobistości: Juraj Jánošík – zbójnik i bohater ludowy, który zabierał bogatym i dawał biednym, Ľudovít Štúr – kodifikator języka słowackiego, Milan Rastislav Štefánik – naukowiec, polityk, żołnierz, współzałożyciel państwa czechosłowackiego, Alexander Dubček – polityk, postać Praskiej Wiosny 1968 roku (slovakiasite.com).

A legmélyebb a Starý hrad a Alacsony-Tátrában, 432 méteres mélységben. A leghosszabb folyó a Vág, amely 406 km hosszú. A legmagasabb vízesés a Magas-Tátrában a Kmeť-vízesés, 80 méter magas. A legszélsebesebb hely Chopok. A legesősebb hely a Zbojnícka chata. Szlovákiában található a világ legnagyobb fából készült oltára, a Levočai Szent Jakab-templom, Európa geográfiai középpontja a Kremnica-hegységben, az egyetlen hideg artezi kút Európában a Herliansky gejzír Kassánál, a közép-európai régió legnagyobb várágyai a Szepesi vár, a legmagasabb hegycsúcs a Kárpátokban a Gerlachovský-gerinc, a legöregebb közpark a közép-európai régióban a Janka Kráľa Park Pozsonyban.

Kr. e. 4. század vége óta a kelták érkeztek ide. Kr. e. 1. században jöttek a dákok.

Gyakran a megnyerésükhöz árulás is hozzájárult. A középkorban például a Dévényi, a Fülek várak nagy akadályt jelentettek az ellenségek számára. Végül is a Pozsonyi vár is. Hiszen Pozsonyt sokáig kővárosnak is nevezték.

1787-ben Anton Bernolák először kodifikálta a szlovák nyelvet Nyugat-Szlovákiai dialektus alapján – bernoláki szlovák nyelv. 1843 óta Ľudovít Štúr miatt a középső szlovák dialektus alapján kodifikálták a szlovák nyelvet.

A legtöbb ember Pozsonyban, Kassán, Presovban, Nitrában, Zsolnán, Besztercebányán, Trencsénben, Martonban, Trencsénben, Poprádban, Prievidzában, Zsolnán él (slovakiasite.com). Nemzeti parkok: TANAP – Tátrai Nemzeti Park, NAPANT – Alacsony-Tátrai Nemzeti Park, Nagy-Fátra, Kis-Fátra, Pieniny (PIENAP), Poloniny, Szlovák Paradicsom, Szlovák Karszt, Murányi síkság (slovakiasite.com). Legfontosabb ünnepek: Karácsony, Húsvét, Mikulás, Szent Lucia, Szilveszter, Újév, Gyermeknap, Anyák napja, Halottak napja, Farsang (slovakiasite.com). Jelentős személyiségek: Juraj Jánošík – rabló és népi hős, aki a gazdagoktól vett és a szegényeknek adott, Ľudovít Štúr – a szlovák írásbeli nyelv kodifikátora, Milan Rastislav Štefánik – tudós, politikus, katona, a Csehszlovák állam megteremtője, Alexander Dubček – politikus, 1968-as Prágai Tavasz jelentős alakja (slovakiasite.com). Gasztronómiai jellegzetességek: parenica, juhsajt, sajtkorongok, oštiepok, bryndza, szilvásvirágh, pozsonyi kifli (mpsr.sk), tokaji bor, káposztaleves, gombóc, palacsinta, tlačenka, hurka, páská, és végül a kofola.

Karol IV. pripojil Braniborsko, Lužice a Sliezsko (Wikipedia.cs).

In the 1st century, Germanic tribes, such as the Quadi and Marcomanni, migrated to this territory. According to some historians, for example, Balázs Komoróczy, there was an attempt by the Romans to create the province of Marcomania on part of the territory during the rule of Marcus Aurelius, with its center likely in southern Moravia, possibly in Mušov (Wikipedia.cs). By the beginning of the 5th century, the population decreased, with a part likely leaving in 409 with the Vandals and Alans. In the first half of the 5th century, due to the departure of the Marcomanni to Noricum, the region was affected. There was probably an influence of the Hun invasion led by Attila on the Morava in the late 5th century. By the end of the 5th century, against the current of the Elbe, the Lombards and Thuringians reached Bohemia. In the second half of the 6th century, Slavic tribes arrived here (Wikipedia.cs). In the 7th century, a part of the territory became part of the Samo Empire. In the 9th century, it became part of Great Moravia. Unification occurred in the 10th century through the efforts of the Přemyslid dynasty (Wikipedia.sk). The Czech Kingdom, established in 1198, reached its peak of power under the rule of the last Přemyslids and Charles IV. During the reign of Přemysl Otakar II, it extended beyond the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. Wenceslaus II acquired territories through Poland to the Baltic Sea, while Wenceslaus III gained Hungarian territories. Charles IV annexed Brandenburg, Lusatia, and Silesia (Wikipedia.cs).

Až do roku 1804 Česko patrilo k rímskonemeckej ríši.

Czechia was a significant part of the Holy Roman Empire, and its ruler held the position of an elector – a voter for the emperor. In the 15th century, Czechia was substantially weakened by the Hussites (Wikipedia.cs). Until 1804, Czechia belonged to the Holy Roman Empire. From 1526 to 1918, it was concurrently part of the Austrian Empire (Wikipedia.sk). In 1526, the Habsburg monarchy took the Czech throne. The victory at the Battle of White Mountain in 1620 contributed to the final elimination of the last remnants of independence. The crown territories, which were largely incongruent after 1749, remained so until the end of World War I in 1918: the Kingdom of Bohemia, the Margraviate of Moravia, and the Duchy of Upper and Lower Silesia (Wikipedia.cs). From 1867 to 1918, Czechia was part of Austria-Hungary. The border regions of Bohemia and Moravia – the Sudetenland – were inhabited by Germans from the 13th century until 1945 (Wikipedia.sk). From the 17th century until the early 19th century, Germanization efforts took place in Czech territory (Wikipedia.cs). In the years 1771 – 1772, at least 250,000 people died during a famine (Veselý), leading to extensive unrest (Vašků).

15. marca 1939 vznikol Protektorát Čechy a Morava. Po vojne v roku 1945 došlo k vysídleniu Nemcov. Vo februári 1948 sa moci ujala Komunistická strana (Wikipedia.cs). Turecko – zaujímavá hornatá krajina

Hits: 4855

Turecko leží pod Čiernym morom. Z dvoch strán ho obklopuje Stredozemné more. Susedí so Sýriou, s Irakom, s Iránom, s Arménskom, s Gruzínskom. Malá časť územia leží v Európe na Balkánskom poloostrove (Východná Trácia /Rumélia), väčšina územia leží v juhozápadnej Ázii – na poloostrove Malá Ázia (Anatólia). Obe časti oddeľuje úžina Bospor, Marmarské more a Dardanely (Wikipedia.sk).

V 6. Vytrvala do roku 1923, kedy Mustafa Kemal Atatürk založil republiku. 2 milióny grékov opustilo Turecko a do Turecka odišlo asi 500 000 moslimov rozprávajúcich grécky, albánsky a bulharsky z Grécka (Wikipedia.sk).
