Hemi­gram­mus mar­gi­na­tus pat­rí do čeľa­de Cha­ra­ci­dae. Je zná­ma aj pod náz­va­mi ​“Gold Tet­ra” ale­bo ​“Gold-​lined Tet­ra”. Je mie­ru­mi­lov­ná, vhod­ná do spo­lo­čen­ských akvá­rií. Je vhod­né ju cho­vať v sku­pi­nách, sú aktív­ne, radi plá­va­jú v stred­ných a vrch­ných vrstvách vody. Pre­fe­ru­je mier­ne kys­lú až neut­rál­nu vodu s tep­lo­tou v roz­me­dzí 23 – 28 °C. Chov je pomer­ne nenáročný.
