Girardinus falcatus (Eigenmann, 1903) je divoký druh živorodky malého vzrastu. Patrí do čeľade Poeciliidae. Pôvod má v Kube. Farebne nie je komerčne zaujímavá, poskytuje len základné farby. Čo však robí túto živorodku krajšou sú jej veľké oči. Okrem toho samci majú k pomeru tela veľmi veľké gonopódium. Niektoré falcaty z prírody majú až medovú farbu tela.
Girardinus falcatus (Eigenmann, 1903) is a wild species of small-sized livebearer. It belongs to the family Poeciliidae. Its origin is in Cuba. It is not commercially interesting in terms of color, providing only basic hues. However, what makes this livebearer beautiful are its large eyes. Additionally, males have very large gonopodium relative to their body size. Some falcatus in nature have a honey-colored body.
