Mes­to leží na roz­hra­ní Malých Kar­pátMyjav­skej pahor­ka­ti­ny. Rímsko-​katolícky kos­tol Najs­vä­tej­šej tro­j­i­ce je z roku 1650, evan­je­lic­ký kos­tol z roku 1874. Nachá­dza sa tu aj jedi­ný pom­ník Jana Husa na Slo­ven­sku (Zdroj: Infor­mač­ná tabu­ľa). Ku kon­cu roka 2010 tu žilo 5251 oby­va­te­ľov na plo­che 41.08 km2 (bre​zo​va​.sk). Má tie­to čas­ti: Minár­či­ny, Štver­ník, Hur­ba­no­va doli­na, Žried­lo­va doli­na (Židov­ské). Prvá písom­ná zbier­ka je z roku 1263, trva­lej­šie osíd­le­nie začí­na v 15. sto­ro­čí. V roku 1568 pat­ri­la Bre­zo­vá pod Čach­tic­ké pan­stvo. Ten­to kraj sa stal blíz­ky Štú­rov­skej gene­rá­cii, v rokoch 18481849 sa stal výcho­dis­kom národ­né­ho hnu­tia. Po roku 1918 v Bre­zo­vej vznik­la prvá meš­tian­ska ško­la na Slo­ven­sku. Mohy­la Milan Ras­ti­sla­va Šte­fá­ni­ka na Brad­le bola posta­ve­ná v roku 1928. Pôso­bí tu diva­del­ný súbor Joze­fa Milo­sla­va Hur­ba­na. Folk­lór­ny súbor Bre­zo­vá vzni­kol v roku 1966. Z Bre­zo­vej pochá­dzal herec Ján Bzdúch (Wiki​pe​dia​.sk).


The town is situ­ated at the junc­ti­on of the Small Car­pat­hians and the Myja­va Hills. The Roman Cat­ho­lic Church of the Holy Tri­ni­ty dates back to 1650, whi­le the Evan­ge­li­cal Church was built in 1874. It is also home to the only monu­ment to Jan Hus in Slo­va­kia (Sour­ce: Infor­ma­ti­on Board). By the end of 2010, the town had a popu­la­ti­on of 5,251 inha­bi­tants wit­hin an area of 41.08 km² (bre​zo​va​.sk). It con­sists of the fol­lo­wing parts: Minár­či­ny, Štver­ník, Hur­ba­no­va doli­na, Žried­lo­va doli­na (Židov­ské). The first writ­ten men­ti­on dates back to 1263, and more per­ma­nent sett­le­ment began in the 15th cen­tu­ry. In 1568, Bre­zo­vá belo­n­ged to the Čach­ti­ce esta­te. This regi­on beca­me clo­se to the Štúr gene­ra­ti­on, and from 1848 to 1849, it beca­me a star­ting point for the nati­onal move­ment. After 1918, the first civic scho­ol in Slo­va­kia was estab­lis­hed in Bre­zo­vá. The Milan Ras­ti­slav Šte­fá­nik Bar­row on Brad­lo was built in 1928. The town hosts the the­a­ter ensem­ble of Jozef Milo­slav Hur­ban. The Bre­zo­vá Folk Ensem­ble was foun­ded in 1966. Actor Ján Bzdúch hai­led from Bre­zo­vá (Wiki​pe​dia​.sk).
