Svetlo je magické médium, plné farieb a tieňov. V rukách fotografa sa svetlo stáva farbou, tvarom a emóciou. Od jednoduchých prírodných scenérií po pulzujúce mestské nočné životy, svetlo prináša do fotografie nekonečné možnosti. Jedným zo spôsobov, ako fotografovať svetlo, je pracovať s kontrastom. Silné kontrasty medzi svetlom a tieňom vytvárajú dramatické scény a zdôrazňujú detaily. Príkladom môže byť fotografovanie osvetlených ulíc v noci alebo portrét so silným slnečným žiarením. Fotografovanie svitania a západu slnka môže tvoriť snímky s poetickým až melancholickým nádychom. Stmievajúce sa svetlo vytvára nádherné odtiene a jemné prechody, ktoré sú ideálne pre zachytenie krásy každodenných okamihov.

Príroda ponúka jedinečné svetelné príbehy. Ranná rosa na pavučinách, hra slnečných lúčov v hustom lese, alebo odlesky na hladine jazera. Fotografovanie prírodného svetla vyžaduje citlivý prístup k okolitému prostrediu a jeho jedinečným svetelným podmienkam. Experimentovanie s technikami dokáže vytvoriť abstraktné obrazy. Pri portrétnom fotografovaní sa svetlo stáva kľúčovým nástrojom na zdôraznenie rysov tváre a vyjadrenie nálady. Hra so svetlom, ako napríklad vytváranie tieňov, môže vytvoriť portréty s hlbokým emocionálnym posolstvom.

From simple natural landscapes to pulsating urban nightscapes, light brings endless possibilities to photography. One way to capture light is by working with contrast. Strong contrasts between light and shadow create dramatic scenes, emphasizing details. Examples include photographing illuminated city streets at night or capturing a portrait in intense sunlight. Photographing the dawn and dusk can produce images with a poetic and sometimes melancholic touch. The fading light creates beautiful shades and subtle transitions, ideal for capturing the beauty of everyday moments.

Nature offers unique light stories – morning dew on spiderwebs, the play of sunbeams in a dense forest, or reflections on the surface of a lake. Photographing natural light requires a sensitive approach to the surrounding environment and its unique lighting conditions. Experimenting with techniques can create abstract images. In portrait photography, light becomes a key tool for highlighting facial features and expressing mood. Playing with light, such as creating shadows, can craft portraits with a profound emotional message. Light, in its various forms, invites photographers to explore and capture the essence of moments, whether in the serene landscapes of nature or the dynamic narratives of human faces.

Okná sú tichými svedkami času a sprostredkovatelia medzi vnútorným a vonkajším svetom. Majú v našich životoch výnimočné miesto. Sú to nielen fyzické otvory v stenách, ale aj estetické, funkčné a historické prvky, ktoré nám poskytujú pohľad na svet a zároveň nám umožňujú poznať minulosť. Dizajn okien a ich umiestnenie tvoria jedinečný charakter domu. Okná s rôznymi tvarmi a ozdobami často odhaľujú architektonické trendy ich doby. Zároveň vytvárajú prepojenie medzi exteriérom a interiérom, doplňujúc priestor svetlom a vzduchom. Funkcia okien presahuje poskytovanie výhľadu. Sú to zdroje svetla, ktoré ovplyvňujú naše nálady a pocity pohody. Okná zabezpečujú vetranie a cirkuláciu vzduchu, vytvárajúc zdravé prostredie v interiéri. Moderné technológie umožňujú aj energeticky efektívne okná, ktoré prispievajú k udržateľnosti domov.

Polia obilnín, zlatisté vlny tancujúce na vetre. Fotograf môže využiť hru svetla a tieňov, aby zdôraznil textúru obilia a jeho pohybový charakter. Napr. slnečnice, s ich žiarivými kvetmi, vytvárajú pôsobivý obraz. Pri správnom svetelnom nastavení môže fotograf zachytiť intenzitu farieb a dynamiku kvetov, ktoré sa otáčajú za slnkom. Ranná rosa vytvára neopakovateľné vzory na listoch rastlín. Fotografovania v rannej hodine, keď slnko len čo vykuká nad obzor, prináša magické svetelné podmienky, ktoré dodávajú obrazom na poliach zvláštnu atmosféru. Výhody moderných technológií nám umožňujú zachytávať obrazy polí aj z výšky. Letieť vrtuľníkom alebo používať bezpilotné lietadlo, dron môže priniesť pohľad, ktorý nám odhalí vzory a farby, ktoré nie sú viditeľné z úrovne zeme. Čiastočne tieto možnosti nám umožní aj pozícia z vyvýšeného miesta. Fotografovania počas rôznych ročných období zachytí sezónne zmeny polí.

Morning dew creates unique patterns on plant leaves. Photographing in the early hours, as the sun barely peeks above the horizon, brings magical lighting conditions that impart a distinctive atmosphere to field images. The benefits of modern technology enable us to capture images of fields from above. Flying a helicopter or using an unmanned aerial vehicle, a drone, can provide a perspective that unveils patterns and colors not visible from ground level. Partially, these possibilities can also be explored from an elevated position. Photographing throughout different seasons allows us to capture the seasonal changes in the fields.

Tieto horské jazerá sú prírodnými pokladmi, ktoré nás oslovujú svojou jedinečnou atmosférou a krásou. Plesá sú nádhernými prírodnými úkazmi, plnými harmónie vysokohorského prostredia. Sú tichými svedkami času, ktoré nás napĺňajú pokojom a úctou pred prírodou. Vysokohorské plesá sú často vytvorené topením ľadovcov a roztopeným snehom. Ich hladina sa ako zrkadlo odráža okolitú scenériu, vrchy, lesy a modrú oblohu. Sú to miesta, kde sa odráža pokoj a tichá drsná elegancia prírody. Plesá sú dôležitými ekosystémami, ktoré poskytujú útočisko pre rôzne druhy rastlín a živočíchov prispôsobených extrémnym podmienkam vysokohorských oblastí. Niektoré z nich môžu byť náročné na dostupnosť, na druhej strane sú obľúbenými miestami pre turistov. V mnohých kultúrach majú plesá aj svoje miesto v legendách a príbehoch, kde sú považované za sväté miesta alebo miesta spojené s nadprirodzenými bytosťami.

These mountain lakes are natural treasures that captivate us with their unique atmosphere and beauty. Lakes are splendid natural phenomena, full of the harmony of high-altitude environments. They are silent witnesses to time, filling us with peace and reverence for nature. High-altitude lakes are often formed by the melting of glaciers and snow. Their surfaces, like mirrors, reflect the surrounding scenery—mountains, forests, and the blue sky. These are places where the tranquility and rugged elegance of nature are mirrored.

Lakes are vital ecosystems that provide refuge for various plants and animals adapted to the extreme conditions of high-altitude areas. Some of them may be challenging to access, yet they remain popular destinations for tourists. In many cultures, lakes also hold a place in legends and stories, often considered sacred or associated with supernatural beings. These bodies of water serve as more than just picturesque landscapes; they are portals into the delicate and exquisite balance of high-altitude ecosystems. The reflection of towering peaks on the serene surface, the quiet ripples as a breeze passes, and the flora and fauna that call these environments home contribute to the unique charm of mountain lakes. Bratislavský hrad

Bratislavský hrad je významná dominanta Bratislavy, ku ktorej sa viaže aj prvá písomná zmienka o Bratislave v Salzburských análoch z roku 907 v súvislosti s bitkou Bavorov a Maďarov. Hradný kopec bol osídlený už v neskorej dobe kamennej, prvými známymi obyvateľmi boli Kelti (bratislava.sk). Stopy najstaršieho osídlenia pochádzajú spred 4500 rokov, z obdobia eneolitu (bolerázska skupina). Predpokladá sa existencia opevneného sídliska, avšak priame dôkazy sa nenašli. Z halštatského obdobia sa na východnej strane našli stopy príbytkov zahĺbené do skalného podložia – zemnice (wikipedia.sk). Z laténskej doby, z času rozkvetu keltskej civilizácie, sa našli stopy oppida, ako aj keltské mince, biatecy (Štefanovičová, 1975). Z 9 až 11. storočia sa na východnej terase hradu našli opracované kamene, fragmenty nápisov, zvyšky tehál označených kolkami XIV. rímskej légie. Nálezy dokazujú prítomnosť rímskeho etnika na hradnej akropole v období 2. – 3. storočia. Je isté, že to bolo zo strategického hľadiska výnimočné miesto a pre umiestnenie vojenskej posádky (pôvodné stavby boli pravdepodobne súčasťou vojenskej stanice) malo nesmierny význam, najmä v období rímsko-germánskych vojenských kontaktov (napr. markomanských vojen). Na prelome 5. a 6. storočia je v znamení slovanského osídľovania. Od prvej polovice 9. storočia tu bolo opevnené stredisko so zrubovými obydliami, palácom, predrománskou trojloďovou bazilikou, cintorínom a hospodárskymi objektmi. Opevnenie vydržalo do konca 14. storočia, kedy ho nahradili kamenné gotické hradby (wikipedia.sk).

Po štyri storočia prechádzala Dunajom severná hranica Rímskej ríše – Limes Romanus. Slovania tu vybudovali v 9. storočí silnú pevnosť, ktorá sa stala významným centrom Veľkomoravskej ríše (bratislava.sk), cirkvevné aj svetské centrum širšieho územia. Sídlila v ňom kniežacia družina, aj cirkevý hodnostár (wikipedia.sk). Bratislavský hrad je národná kultúrna pamiatka a v súčasnosti slúži jeho prvé poschodie pre reprezentačné účely Slovenskej národnej rady a v ostatných priestoroch sú umiestnené zbierky Slovenského národného múzea – expozície Klenoty dávnej doby a Historické múzeum (bratislava.sk). Dnešné meno hradu vychádza z pomenovania Brezaluspurch, ktoré bolo uvádzané v Soľnohradských letopisoch v roku 907. V roku 1042 sa v Henri-Manni Augiensis Chronicon spomína Brezeburg, v Altaišských análoch v roku 1052 Preslavvaspurch, v roku 1108 Bresburg, z čoho vzniklo dnešné nemecké Pressburg (wikipedia.sk). Všetky tieto názvy majú pôvod s mene Braslav, resp. Preslav. Mohol to byť člen významnej veľmožskej rodiny (Jozef Hlinka, 1982). Nemecký historik Aventinus uvádza Wratisslaburgium, podľa Vratislava, ktorý dal hrad opraviť v roku 805. Iné pomenovanie ja Castrum Bosan, prípadne Bassa, Possen, neskôr Poson, Posonium, čo dalo zrejme vzniknúť maďarskému Pozsony (wikipedia.sk).

Z 13. storočia pochádza Korunná veža. Za vlády Žigmunda Luxemburgského (1387 – 1437) hrad prešiel gotickou prestavbou. Po roku 1526 je sídlom uhorských kráľov. Za Márie Terézie (1740 – 1780) sa hrad premenil na luxusnú barokovú rezidenciu. V roku 1811 vyhorel, s rekonštrukciou sa začalo až v roku 1953. Dnes hrad spravuje Kancelária Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky. Sídli tu Historické a Hudobné múzeum Slovenského národného múzea. Hrad tvoria rôzne časti: Viedenská, Žigmundova, Mikulášska a Leopoldova brána, čestné nádvorie, vyhliadkový bastión, palác, západná terasa, severné hradby, bašta Luginsland, hradná vináreň, juhozápadný bastión, základy veľkomoravskej baziliky z 9. storočia a kostola sv. Spasiteľa z 11. st., cisterna (Zdroj: Informačná tabuľa).

Na nádvorí hradného paláca, rovnako ako na severnej terase areálu našli archeológovia Mestského ústavu ochrany pamiatok zvyšky jedinečných architektúr z obdobia 1. storočia pred Kristom. Súčasťou nálezu boli aj zlaté mince s nápisom Biatec. Historici sa zhodli, že ide o najreprezentatívnejšiu stavbu severne od Álp z neskorolaténskeho obdobia. Na hrade sa teda v minulosti nachádzala akropola jedného z najvýznamnejších keltských hradísk – oppidum v strednej Európe. „Tieto objekty boli stavané rímskou stavebnou technikou a sú unikátnym nálezom nielen z hľadiska svojho veku, ale aj kvality. Zachovali sa v nich pôvodné interiérové omietky a liate dlažby s kamienkovou výzdobou, ktoré na Slovensku nemajú obdobu,“ hovorí Štassel (Kráková). Archeologický výskum z roku 2008 mení pohľad na keltskú minulosť Bratislavy, hrad bol sídlom keltského kniežaťa, knieža si volalo remeselníkov z Ríma, ktorí mu upravovali a postavili sídlo podľa rímskych znalostí. Našla sa okrem iného rímska keramika, amfory, zvon, zlatý a strieborný poklad kniežaťa. Unikátom je objav prvej zlatej mince s názvom Nonnos (Danihelová).

Hradný kopec je prvým kopcom Malých Karpát. Bratislavčania, ale aj nebratislavčania chodia radi na Bratislavský hrad. Je odtiaľ celkom pekný výhľad na široké okolie. Časť za hlavnou budovou smerom ku Starému mestu je plná zelene, je tu pomerne veľký a rovinatý priestor, kde sa najmä v lete zdržiava dosť ľudí. Tým, že hrad je v centre, je veľmi ľahko a rýchlo dostupný. Na hrade sa konajú výstavy, v letnom období koncerty, divadelné predstavenia, rôzne spoločenské akcie tu majú svoj začiatok.

Bratislava Castle is a significant landmark in Bratislava, and the first written mention of Bratislava in the Salzburg Annals dates back to 907 in connection with the Battle of Bavorov and the Hungarians. The castle hill was settled in the late Stone Age, with the first known inhabitants being Celts (bratislava.sk). Traces of the oldest settlement date back 4500 years to the Eneolithic period (Boleráz group). Although the existence of a fortified settlement is presumed, direct evidence has not been found. From the Hallstatt period, dwellings dug into the rock substratum, called earthworks, were discovered on the eastern side (wikipedia.sk). From the La Tène period, the time of the Celtic civilization’s flourishing, there are traces of oppida and Celtic coins, biatecs (Štefanovičová, 1975). From the 9th to the 11th century, processed stones, fragments of inscriptions, and remains of bricks marked with pegs from the 14th Roman legion were found on the eastern terrace of the castle. These findings indicate the presence of the Roman ethnicity on the castle acropolis in the 2nd to 3rd century. It was undoubtedly an exceptional location from a strategic perspective and had great importance for military garrison placement (the original structures were likely part of a military station), especially during the Roman-Germanic military contacts (e.g., Marcomannic Wars). Slavic settlement marked the turn of the 5th and 6th centuries. From the first half of the 9th century, a fortified center with log houses, a palace, a pre-Romanesque triple-naved basilica, a cemetery, and economic buildings existed here. The fortifications lasted until the end of the 14th century when they were replaced by stone Gothic walls (wikipedia.sk).

For four centuries, the northern border of the Roman Empire – the Limes Romanus – ran along the Danube. In the 9th century, the Slavs built a strong fortress here, which became a significant center of the Great Moravian Empire (bratislava.sk), both ecclesiastical and secular, encompassing a broader territory. The princely retinue and ecclesiastical dignitaries resided there (wikipedia.sk). Bratislava Castle is a national cultural monument and currently, its first floor serves for representative purposes of the Slovak National Council, while other spaces house collections of the Slovak National Museum – the Treasures of Ancient Times and the Historical Museum (bratislava.sk). The present name of the castle derives from the name Brezaluspurch, mentioned in the Salzburg Annals in 907. In 1042, Henri-Manni Augiensis Chronicon mentions Brezeburg, in the Altai Annals in 1052, Preslavvaspurch, and in 1108, Bresburg, from which the current German Pressburg (wikipedia.sk) originated. All these names have their origin in the name Braslav or Preslav. It could have been a member of a significant noble family (Jozef Hlinka, 1982). The German historian Aventinus mentions Wratisslaburgium, named after Vratislav, who repaired the castle in 805. Another designation is Castrum Bosan or Bassa, Possen, later Poson, Posonium, probably giving rise to the Hungarian Pozsony (wikipedia.sk).

The Crown Tower dates back to the 13th century. During the rule of Sigismund of Luxembourg (1387 – 1437), the castle underwent Gothic reconstruction. After 1526, it became the residence of Hungarian kings. Under Maria Theresa (1740 – 1780), the castle transformed into a luxurious Baroque residence. In 1811, it burned down, and reconstruction began only in 1953. Today, the castle is managed by the Office of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The Historical and Music Museums of the Slovak National Museum are located here. The castle consists of various parts: Vienna, Sigismund, Nicholas, and Leopold Gates, the honorary courtyard, the lookout bastion, the palace, the western terrace, the northern walls, the Luginsland Bastion, the castle winery, the southwest bastion, the foundations of the Great Moravian basilica from the 9th century, and the Church of St. Savior from the 11th century, the cistern (Source: Information board).

In the courtyard of the castle palace, as well as on the northern terrace of the area, archaeologists from the City Institute for the Protection of Monuments found remains of unique architecture dating back to the 1st century BC. The discovery included gold coins with the inscription Biatec. Historians agree that it is the most representative structure north of the Alps from the late La Tène period. The castle apparently housed the acropolis of one of the most significant Celtic fortifications – an oppidum in Central Europe. „These objects were built with Roman construction techniques and are a unique find not only in terms of their age but also their quality. They preserved the original interior plaster and cast slabs with stone decoration, which have no parallel in Slovakia,“ says Štassel (Kráková). Archaeological research from 2008 changes the view of Bratislava’s Celtic past; the castle was the seat of a Celtic prince named Braslav, who called upon craftsmen from Rome to modify and build the residence according to Roman knowledge. In addition to Roman ceramics, amphorae, bells, and the gold and silver treasure of the prince, the discovery included the first gold coin named Nonnos (Danihelová).

The castle hill is the first hill of the Little Carpathians. Bratislavans, as well as non-locals, enjoy visiting Bratislava Castle. There is a nice view of the surrounding area from there. The part behind the main building, towards the Old Town, is full of greenery, with a relatively large and flat space where quite a few people gather, especially in the summer. Being in the center, the castle is very easily and quickly accessible. Exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, and various social events take place at the castle, and many events have their beginnings here.

Jahrhundert wurden auf der östlichen Terrasse der Burg bearbeitete Steine, Fragmente von Inschriften und Überreste von Ziegeln mit Markierungen der XIV. römischen Legion gefunden. Diese Funde belegen die Anwesenheit des römischen Volkes auf der Burgakropolis im 2. bis 3. Jahrhundert. Es ist sicher, dass dies aus strategischer Sicht ein außergewöhnlicher Ort war und für die Platzierung einer Militärbesatzung von unschätzbarem Wert war, insbesondere während der römisch-germanischen Militärkontakte (z. B. Markomannenkriege). Um die Wende vom 5. zum 6. Jahrhundert steht es im Zeichen der slawischen Besiedlung. Ab der ersten Hälfte des 9. Jahrhunderts gab es hier ein befestigtes Zentrum mit Blockhäusern, einem Palast, einer frühromanischen dreischiffigen Basilika, einem Friedhof und landwirtschaftlichen Gebäuden. Die Befestigung hielt bis Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts, als sie durch steinerne gotische Mauern ersetzt wurde (wikipedia.sk).

Vier Jahrhunderte lang bildete die Donau die nördliche Grenze des Römischen Reiches – Limes Romanus. Die Slawen errichteten im 9. Jahrhundert eine starke Festung, die ein bedeutendes Zentrum des Großmährischen Reiches wurde (bratislava.sk), sowohl geistlich als auch weltlich für ein größeres Gebiet. Die fürstliche Familie und der kirchliche Würdenträger (wikipedia.sk) lebten hier. Die Bratislava Burg ist ein nationales Kulturdenkmal und dient heute das erste Stockwerk repräsentativen Zwecken des slowakischen Nationalrats, während die anderen Räume die Sammlungen des Slowakischen Nationalmuseums beherbergen – die Ausstellungen Schätze alter Zeiten und Historisches Museum (bratislava.sk). Der heutige Name der Burg leitet sich von der Bezeichnung Brezaluspurch ab, die 907 in den Salzburger Annalen erwähnt wurde. Im Jahr 1042 wird es in Henri-Manni Augiensis Chronicon als Brezeburg erwähnt, in den Altheus-Analen von 1052 als Preslavvaspurch, im Jahr 1108 als Bresburg, was später zum heutigen deutschen Pressburg wurde (wikipedia.sk). Alle diese Namen haben ihren Ursprung im Namen Braslav oder Preslav. Es könnte ein Mitglied einer bedeutenden Adelsfamilie gewesen sein (Jozef Hlinka, 1982). Der deutsche Historiker Aventinus gibt Wratisslaburgium an, nach Vratislav, der die Burg im Jahr 805 reparieren ließ. Eine andere Bezeichnung ist Castrum Bosan, oder Bassa, Possen, später Poson, Posonium, was wahrscheinlich zur ungarischen Bezeichnung Pozsony führte (wikipedia.sk).

Der Kronenturm stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Unter der Herrschaft von Sigismund von Luxemburg (1387 – 1437) wurde die Burg gotisch umgebaut. Nach 1526 war es der Sitz der ungarischen Könige. Unter Maria Theresia (1740 – 1780) wurde die Burg in eine luxuriöse barocke Residenz umgewandelt. Im Jahr 1811 brannte es nieder und die Rekonstruktion begann erst 1953. Heute wird die Burg vom Büro des Nationalrates der Slowakischen Republik verwaltet. Hier befinden sich das Historische und das Musikmuseum des Slowakischen Nationalmuseums. Die Burg besteht aus verschiedenen Teilen: Wiener, Sigismunds, Nikolaus‘ und Leopolds Tor, der Ehrenhof, dem Aussichtsbastion, dem Palast, der westlichen Terrasse, den nördlichen Mauern, dem Luginsland-Turm, der Burgkellerei, dem südwestlichen Bastion, den Fundamenten der Großmährischen Basilika aus dem 9. Jahrhundert und der Kirche des Heilands aus dem 11. Jahrhundert, dem Wassertank (Quelle: Informationstafel).

Auf dem Hof des Burgpalastes, ebenso wie auf der Nordterrasse des Geländes, fanden Archäologen des Stadtinstituts für Denkmalschutz im Jahr 2008 Überreste einzigartiger Architekturen aus dem 1. Jahrhundert vor Christus. Der Fund enthielt auch goldene Münzen mit der Inschrift Biatec. Historiker sind sich einig, dass es sich um das repräsentativste Gebäude nördlich der Alpen aus der späten La-Tène-Zeit handelt. Die Burg war also in der Vergangenheit die Akropolis einer der wichtigsten keltischen Festungen – dem Oppidum in Mitteleuropa. „Diese Objekte wurden mit römischer Bautechnik gebaut und sind ein einzigartiger Fund, nicht nur in Bezug auf ihr Alter, sondern auch auf ihre Qualität. In ihnen haben sich die ursprünglichen Innenputze und die gegossenen Fliesen mit Steinverzierungen erhalten, die in der Slowakei ihresgleichen suchen“, sagt Štassel (Kráková). Die archäologische Forschung von 2008 ändert den Blick auf die keltische Vergangenheit von Bratislava. Die Burg war der Sitz eines keltischen Fürsten, der Handwerker aus Rom als Gefolge hatte, die ihm die Unterkunft nach römischem Vorbild gestalteten und errichteten. Es wurden unter anderem römische Keramik, Amphoren, Glocken, ein goldener und silberner Schatz des Fürsten gefunden. Einzigartig ist der Fund der ersten goldenen Münze mit dem Namen Nonnos (Danihelová).

Der Burgberg ist der erste Hügel der Kleinen Karpaten. Die Bratislavaer und Nicht-Bratislavaer gehen gerne auf die Bratislava Burg. Von dort aus hat man einen ziemlich schönen Blick auf die weite Umgebung. Der Teil hinter dem Hauptgebäude in Richtung der Altstadt ist voller Grünflächen und bietet einen ziemlich großen und flachen Raum, in dem sich im Sommer ziemlich viele Menschen aufhalten. Da die Burg im Zentrum liegt, ist sie sehr leicht und schnell erreichbar. Auf der Burg finden Ausstellungen statt, im Sommer Konzerte, Theateraufführungen, verschiedene gesellschaftliche Veranstaltungen beginnen hier.

A Bratislavai vár a bratislavai város egyik jelentős dominánsa, és Bratislava első írásos említése a 907-es Bavornál és a magyaroknál vívott csata kapcsán szerepel a szalzburgi évkönyvekben. A várhegy már a késő kőkorszakban is lakott volt, az első ismert lakók a kelták voltak (bratislava.sk). A legrégebbi település nyomai mintegy 4500 évvel ezelőttről, az eneolitikum korszakából (Boleráz-csoport) származnak. Feltehető, hogy erődített település létezett, de közvetlen bizonyítékokat nem találtak. A latén korból keleti oldalán megfigyelhetők a kőzetbe mélyedt kunyhók maradványai (wikipedia.sk). A kelta civilizáció virágkora, a latén korból oppida nyomai és kelta érmék, a Biatecs (Štefanovičová, 1975). A 9. és 11. századból származó dolgozott kőzetek, feliratmaradványok és a XIV. római légió jelzéseivel ellátott téglamaradványokat találtak a vár keleti teraszán. Ezek a leletek a római nép jelenlétét igazolják a vár akropoliszán a 2. és 3. században. Biztos, hogy stratégiai szempontból kivételes hely volt és katonai poszt része lehetett, különösen a római-germán katonai kapcsolatok idején (például a markomann háborúk). Az 5. és a 6. század fordulóján a szlávok letelepedése jellemzi. Az 9. század első felében itt már erődített központ volt faházakkal, palotával, korai román háromhajós bazilikával, temetővel és gazdasági épületekkel. Az erődítmény a 14. század végéig állta meg, amikor kőből készült gót falakkal helyettesítették (wikipedia.sk).

Négy évszázadon keresztül a Duna alkotta a Római Birodalom északi határát – a Limes Romanus-t. A szlávok az 9. században megerősített erődöt építettek, amely jelentős központtá vált a Nagy-Morva Birodalomnak (bratislava.sk), mind szellemi, mind világi szempontból egy nagyobb terület számára. Itt élt a hercegi család és a keresztény egyház méltóságosa (wikipedia.sk). A bratislavai vár nemzeti kulturális emlék, és jelenleg a Szlovák Nemzeti Tanács első emeletét a Szlovák Nemzeti Múzeum gyűjteményeinek reprezentatív célokra használja – Az ősi korok kincsei és Történeti múzeum kiállításai (bratislava.sk). A vár mai neve a 907-es Brezalauspurc név alapján származik a szalzburgi évkönyvekből. 1042-ben Henri-Manni Augiensis Chroniconban Brezeburgként említik, 1052-ben az Altheus-análokban Preslavvaspurchként, 1108-ban Bresburgként, ami a mai német Pozsonyt eredményezte (wikipedia.sk). Ezek a nevek mind Braslav vagy Preslav név eredetét jelzik. Valószínűleg egy jelentős nemesi család tagja lehetett (Jozef Hlinka, 1982). A német történész Aventinus Wratisslaburgiumot mond, Vratislav alapján, aki a várat 805-ben javította meg. A Korona torony a 13. századból származik. Luxemburgi Zsigmond uralkodása alatt (1387 – 1437) a vár gótikus átalakuláson ment keresztül. 1526 után Magyarország királyainak lakhelye. Mária Terézia (1740 – 1780) idején a vár luxus barokk rezidenciává változott. 1811-ben leégett, a helyreállítás csak 1953-ban kezdődött. A várat jelenleg a Szlovák Köztársaság Nemzeti Tanácsának Hivatala kezeli. Itt található a Szlovák Nemzeti Múzeum Kincsei a régi idők és a Történeti múzeum kiállításai. A várat különböző részek alkotják: bécsi, Zsigmond, Mikulás és Lipót kapu, tiszteletbeli udvar, kilátó bástya, palota, nyugati terasz, északi falak, Luginsland bástya, várborozda, délnyugati bástya, a 9. századi nagy-morva bazilika alapjai és a 11. századi Szent Megváltó templom, ciszterna (Forrás: Informačná tabuľa).

A várpalota udvarán, valamint az épületegyüttes északi teraszán a városi műemlékvédelmi intézet régészei egyedülálló 1. századi építészeti maradványokra bukkantak. A lelet részét képezte a Biatec feliratú aranyérmék is. A történészek egyetértenek abban, hogy ez a terület az észak-alföldi későrómai korból származó legrétegesebb építménye. A leletek között eredeti belső vakolatok és kőburkolatok is megmaradtak, amelyeket kődíszekkel díszítettek, és amelyeknek Szlovákiában nincs párja – mondja Štassel (Kráková). Az 2008-as régészeti kutatás megváltoztatja a bratislavai kelta múlt látásmódját, a vár egy kelta fejedelem székhelye volt, aki római kézműveseket hívott maga mellé, hogy azok a római ismeretek alapján kialakítsák és felépítsék a székhelyét. A római kerámia, amforák, harangok, a fejedelem arany- és ezüstkincsei is megtalálhatók. Az egyediségét azonban az első Nonnos nevű arany érmének a felfedezése jelenti (Danihelová).

A várhegy a Kis-Kárpátok első dombja. A bratislavaiak és a nem bratislavaiak szívesen látogatnak a Bratislavai várba. Innen egész szép kilátás nyílik a környező területekre. Az épület főépületétől délre lévő rész teli van zöld területekkel, meglehetősen nagy és sík területtel, ahol nyáron elég sok ember tartózkodik. Mivel a vár a városközpontban található, nagyon könnyen és gyorsan elérhető. A váron kiállítások, nyáron koncertek, színházi előadások, különböző társadalmi események is zajlanak.
