Filipovo je dedina a Horehroní, z ktorej okrem iného pochádza môj otec. Je to krásny kraj medzi Nízkymi Tatrami Muránskou planinou na druhej strane. Podľa Banského archívu v Banskej Štiavnici boli v roku 1710 vo Filipove 3 domy. V jednom býval Tomáš Faško s rodinou, v druhom snáď jeho brat Matej s rodinou. V treťom bývali švagrovci KnapčokRusnák. Podľa záznamov si zrejme zobrali sestry Faškové od otca Michala Faška. Podľa sčítania obyvateľov z roku 1810 bolo vo Filipove 12 domov, v ktorých žilo 106 osôb v 22 rodinách. Veľkú prevahu majú Faškovci - 61 osôb v 9 domoch (z toho v 3 domoch aj s inými rodinami), Dugátovcov bolo 13 a žili tu 2 rodiny v jednom dome.

Filipovo is a village in Horehronie, and it is the birthplace of my father, among other things. It is a beautiful region situated between the Low Tatras and Muránska Planina on the other side. According to the Mining Archive in Banská Štiavnica, there were three houses in Filipovo in 1710. Tomáš Faško lived with his family in one, possibly his brother Matej with his family in another, and the in-laws Knapčok and Rusnák in the third. According to records, the Faško sisters likely married Knapčok and Rusnák. According to the census of 1810, there were 12 houses in Filipovo, with 106 people living in 22 families. The Faško family dominated with 61 individuals in 9 houses (including 3 houses with other families), and there were 13 members of the Dugát family living in 2 houses.
