Protest Gorila v Bratislave

3.2.2012 sa konal námestí v Bratislave tzv. . Bol to podľa všetkého najväčší protest občanov Slovenska voči stavu , voči korupcii od roku 1989. Bola to pre mňa fotografická udalosť, sám ako občan by som sa zrejme takejto nezúčastnil. Navyše ak aj áno, zrejme po krátkom čase by som odišiel, pretože by som sa nudil. Mal som a mám stále veľké názorové rozdiely s tým, čo chceli, resp. neustále menili . Aj s tým ako sa správali. Chcieť priamu demokraciu, robiť legislatívu cez , diskutovať o všetkom a všetci, výmenný apod. sú utopistické až bláznivé predstavy, ktoré sa vymykajú realite. Samotní organizátori mali pekné , chceli zmeniť a riešiť všetko. Mal som pocit a diskutoval som o tom s viacerými, že vedenie protestov nemá asi tušenie ako funguje štát. Navyše ak vodca rozpráva o tom, že on je len obyčajný a necíti sa byť vodcom, rapídne stráca kredit. Šlo o príliš vážne . , že silne prevládali nad rozumom, škoda že sa organizátori nespojili s inteligenciou, kultúrnou obcou. Chýbalo prepojenie, spolupráca. Namiesto toho som vnímal vydeľovanie sa. Dnes, takmer po roku sú zrejme frustrovaní, že nie je vôľa meniť stav vecí verejných, ako som počul v televízii. Je veľká škoda, že sa nevyužil potenciál proti korupcii. Že sa rozbili na celkom odlišných ambíciách. Odporučil by som hľadať chyby v sebe. Klesajúci záujem ísť sa zúčastniť „Gorila Protestov“ je odrazom nás všetkých.

Ja som ešte takú davovú silu, aká bola pri fotografovaní, keď sa dav pohol z , ešte nezažil. – a okolie poznám výborne. Mal som , keď sa dav pohol z námestia ku Úradu , bol som na jedinom mieste viac ako 10 minút. Dav elektrizujúco hučal, bolo to magické, povznášajúce. Napriek tomu, že vládla celkom slušná , a vtedy už aj , prsty mrzli. Nižšie je výsledok môjho snaženia. Veľká časť fotografií je práve z času, keď sa dav hýbal.

On the 3rd of February 2012, the so-called Gorilla Protest took place in SNP Square in . was, according to all indications, the largest protest of Slovak citizens against the state of society and corruption since 1989. It was a photographic event for me; as a citizen, I probably would not have participated in such an action. Moreover, even if I did, I would likely have left shortly afterward because I would have become bored. I had and still have significant ideological differences with what the organizers wanted or constantly changed. Also, with how they behaved. Desiring direct democracy, making legislation through the Internet, discussing everything with everyone, barter, etc., are utopian and even crazy ideas that defy reality. The organizers themselves had ideals; they wanted to change and address everything. I had the feeling, and I discussed it with several people, that the leaders of the protests probably had no idea how the state functions. Moreover, when a leader talks about being just an ordinary person and does not feel like a leader, he rapidly loses credibility. These were too serious topics. It’s a pity that emotions strongly prevailed over reason, a pity that the organizers did not connect with intelligence, the cultural community. There was a lack of connection, cooperation. Instead, I perceived division. Today, almost a year later, they are probably frustrated that there is no will to change the state of public affairs, as I heard on television. It is a great pity that the potential against corruption was not utilized. That the forces broke up due to entirely different ambitions. I would recommend looking for faults within oneself. The declining interest in participating in the „Gorilla Protests“ reflects the reaction of all of us.

I have not experienced such a crowd force, as there was during the photography, when the crowd moved from the square. The terrain – SNP Square and its surroundings – I know very well. I was fortunate when the crowd moved from the square toward the Government Office; I was in one place for more than 10 minutes. The crowd was electrically buzzing; it was magical, uplifting. Despite the quite decent weather and the darkness that had already set in, my fingers were freezing. Below is the result of my efforts. A significant portion of the photographs is precisely from the time when the crowd was in motion.

Dúfam, že uvedené budú pre niekoho užitočné. Číslo v zátvorke za oblasťou znamená záznamov. Radenie je podľa tohto počtu. Nie všetky záznamy sú kompletné a správne. Usporiadanie je podľa jednotlivých oblastí, a ďalšie členenie je podľa typu podľa toho či ide o článok, knihu, príručku, spravodaj, zborník, atlas, mapu, súbor apod. Pod heslom NEZNÁME sa skrýva neidentifikovaný typ publikácie. Pod heslom OSTATNÉ myslím iný, avšak známy typ publikácie. Počet záznamov v skutočnosti a prístupných v jednotlivých súboroch nemusí byť rovnaký. Je to spôsobené odlišným prístupom pri spracovaní údajov. Dobre to dokumentuje reťazec „„. Nachádza sa totiž v zloženinách ako napr. , , ekobiológia apod..
