Stretnutie Európskej kryptokorynárskej spoločnosti vo Viedni

17.-19.10.2008 sa konalo stretnutie „kryptokorynárov“ – Európskej kryptokorynárskej spoločnosti – ECS vo Viedni. Keďže sme sa o tom dozvedeli a Viedeň je z Bratislavy na skok, rozhodli sme sa, že sa pôjdeme na takéto podujatie pozrieť. Medzi akvaristami, resp. botanikmi sú aj naši známi, ktorí boli v minulosti ochotní vycestovať trebárs aj do Švajčiarska na podobné podujatie. ECS usporadúva totiž tieto akcie v rôznych krajinách. Keď to zhrniem, ja, Milo Pešek, Palo Sedlák a Jožko Kutálek sme si pozreli v piatok. Jožko Somogyi a Štefan Matuška absolvovali kompletný program, Jožko dokonca aj prednášal.

Nebol mi celkom známy kompletný program, navyše šlo aj o spoločenskú udalosť. Na programe víkendu boli vždy večer od 20:00 do polnoci prednášky. Cez deň sa chodí na takýchto akciách na nejakú exkurziu. Napr. do nejakej pestiarne rastlín, do rýb, nejakému akvaristovi, pestovateľovi vodných rastlín apod. Prípadne je plánovaná návšteva Botanickej alebo . Spoločne sa chodí na obed, na večeru apod. Účastníci majú zabezpečené ubytovanie. Tento rok sa zúčastnilo 35-40 záujemcov z celej Európy, dokonca sme videli exotické tváre snáď indického a filipínskeho, možno thajského pôvodu.

Prednášalo sa po nemecky, možná bola angličtina. V piatok a v sobotu sa mali prezentovať Kai Erik Witte, Stephan Karlick, Heinz Schöpfel, Alfred Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somogyi, Niels Jacobsen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bogner, Claus Kettner, Jan Bastmeijer. Témy prednášok sa venovali napr. Sarawaku, Thajským kryptokorynám, evolúcii, hnojeniu kryptokorýn, Cryptocoryne retrospiralis, C. nevilii, C. crudasiana, C. crispatula. Jozef Somogyi, ktorý mal prednášku na Akvaristickej zime 2007, prednášal o pestovaní kryptokorýn. Na konci piatkového programu sme sa rozlúčili, predovšetkým so Stephanom Karlickom a dostali sme pekné darčeky. Dozvedeli sme sa, že ECS veľmi rada videla nové tváre. V prípade, že vás kryptokoryny zaujímajú viac, určite by ste svojim zájmom Európsku kryptokorynársku spoločnosť potešili. Z Viedne sme odchádzali neskoro v spokojní. Ja som bol veľmi zvedavý na špecialistov, ktorí sú schopní a ochotní sa dať dokopy a niečo zmysluplné zorganizovať. Vzhľadom na to, že náš 29.-30.11.2008 poriada akciu venovanú vodným rastlinám, pozvali sme členov ECS na naše podujatie.

From October 17th to 19th, 2008, a meeting of „cryptocoryne enthusiasts“ – the European Cryptocoryne Society (ECS) – took place in Vienna. Since we learned about it, and Vienna is very close to , we decided to attend such an event. Among the aquarium hobbyists, or rather botanists, there are acquaintances of ours who were willing to travel to Switzerland for a similar event in the past. ECS organizes these events in various countries. In summary, Milo Pešek, Palo Sedlák, Jožko Kutálek, and I attended the lectures on Friday. Jožko Somogyi and Štefan Matuška completed the entire program, and Jožko even gave a lecture.

The complete program was not entirely known to me, and it was also a social event. The weekend program always included lectures from 8:00 PM to midnight. During the day at such events, there is usually an excursion planned, such as visiting a plant nursery, a fish farm, an aquarist, a water plant cultivator, etc. Alternatively, a visit to the Botanical Garden or the zoo is planned. Participants have lunch, dinner, etc., together. Accommodation is provided for the participants. This year, 35-40 enthusiasts from all over Europe attended the event, and we even saw some exotic faces, perhaps of Indian, Filipino, or Thai origin.

The lectures were in German, possibly in English. On Friday and Saturday, presentations were scheduled by Kai Erik Witte, Stephan Karlick, Heinz Schöpfel, Alfred Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somogyi, Niels Jacobsen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bogner, Claus Kettner, Jan Bastmeijer. Lecture topics covered Sarawak, Thai Cryptocorynes, evolution, fertilization of Cryptocorynes, Cryptocoryne retrospiralis, C. nevilii, C. crudasiana, C. crispatula. Jozef Somogyi, who had a lecture at the Aquarium Winter 2007, spoke about cultivating Cryptocorynes. At the end of Friday’s program, we said goodbye, especially to Stephan Karlick, and received nice gifts. We learned that ECS was very pleased to see new faces. If you are more interested in Cryptocorynes, you would certainly please the European Cryptocoryne Society with your interest. We left Vienna late at night, satisfied. I was very curious about specialists who are able and willing to come together and organize something meaningful. Considering that our klub.akva.sk is organizing an event dedicated to aquatic plants on November 29-30, 2008, we invited ECS members to our event.

Vom 17. bis 19. Oktober 2008 fand in Wien ein Treffen der „Cryptocorynen-Enthusiasten“ – der Europäischen Cryptocorynen-Gesellschaft (ECS) – statt. Da wir davon erfahren hatten und Wien von Bratislava aus leicht zu erreichen ist, beschlossen wir, an einer solchen Veranstaltung teilzunehmen. Unter den Aquarianern bzw. Botanikern gibt es Bekannte von uns, die in der Vergangenheit bereit waren, zu ähnlichen Veranstaltungen sogar in die Schweiz zu reisen. Die ECS organisiert solche Veranstaltungen in verschiedenen Ländern. Zusammenfassend nahmen Milo Pešek, Palo Sedlák, Jožko Kutálek und ich an den Vorträgen am Freitag teil. Jožko Somogyi und Štefan Matuška absolvierten das gesamte Programm, und Jožko hielt sogar einen Vortrag.

Mir war das vollständige Programm nicht vollständig bekannt, und es handelte sich auch um eine gesellschaftliche Veranstaltung. Das Wochenendprogramm umfasste immer Vorträge von 20:00 bis Mitternacht. Tagsüber steht bei solchen Veranstaltungen normalerweise eine Exkursion auf dem Programm, beispielsweise der Besuch einer Pflanzgärtnerei, einer Fischfarm, eines Aquarianers, eines Wasserpflanzenzüchters usw. Alternativ ist ein Besuch im Botanischen Garten oder im Zoo geplant. Die Teilnehmer haben gemeinsam Mittagessen, Abendessen usw. Die Unterkunft wird für die Teilnehmer bereitgestellt. In diesem Jahr nahmen 35-40 Enthusiasten aus ganz Europa an der Veranstaltung teil, und wir sahen sogar einige exotische Gesichter, möglicherweise indischer, philippinischer oder thailändischer Herkunft.

Die Vorträge waren auf Deutsch, möglicherweise auch auf Englisch. Am Freitag und Samstag waren Präsentationen von Kai Erik Witte, Stephan Karlick, Heinz Schöpfel, Alfred Waser, Peter Babics, Jozef Somogyi, Niels Jacobsen, Romeo Herr, Josef Bogner, Claus Kettner, Jan Bastmeijer geplant. Die Themen der Vorträge umfassten Sarawak, thailändische Cryptocorynen, Evolution, Düngung von Cryptocorynen, Cryptocoryne retrospiralis, C. nevilii, C. crudasiana, C. crispatula. Jozef Somogyi, der einen Vortrag beim Aquarium Winter 2007 gehalten hatte, sprach über die Kultivierung von Cryptocorynen. Am Ende des Freitagsprogramms verabschiedeten wir uns, besonders von Stephan Karlick, und erhielten schöne Geschenke. Wir erfuhren, dass die ECS sich sehr über neue Gesichter freute. Wenn Sie sich mehr für Cryptocorynen interessieren, würden Sie die Europäische Cryptocorynen-Gesellschaft sicherlich mit Ihrem Interesse erfreuen. Wir verließen Wien spät in der Nacht, zufrieden. Ich war sehr gespannt auf Fachleute, die in der Lage und bereit sind, sich zusammenzuschließen und etwas Sinnvolles zu organisieren. Angesichts dessen, dass unser klub.akva.sk am 29. bis 30. November 2008 eine Veranstaltung für Wasserpflanzen organisiert, haben wir Mitglieder der ECS zu unserer Veranstaltung eingeladen.

Zierfische und Aquarium – akvaristický veľtrh v Duisburgu

Ide o chovateľský veľtrh, ktorý sa ale dosť líši od iného konaného v Nürnbergu. Veľmi sa mi páčilo, že duisburgský veľtrh na mňa pôsobil „teplo„. Nebol to biznis, honba za veľkých obchodom, za peniazmi. Skôr som mal pocit, že ide o uspokojenie obyčajných malých zákazníkov, ba dokonca často až o propagáciu akvaristiky. Na veľkej ploche sa tam prezentovali aj niektoré iniciatívy ako Garnelen forum, Cichliden Tage a napokon aj Diskus Championat a Bewertungsschau des EHBBC – výstava bojovníc. Výstavisko navštívilo neskutočné množstvo ľudí, cca 40 000, výstava trvala od 2.10 do 10.10.2008. Záujem bol asi o všetko, o , o techniku, literatúru, , výstavu terčovcov. Tovar bol rozmanitý, ponuka lákala, ja sa určite do Duisburgu vrátim. Z veľtrhu sme šli do akvaristiky Hobby ZOO Tillmann.

It is a breeding fair, but it differs quite a bit from another one held in Nuremberg. I really liked that the Duisburg fair felt „warm“ to me. It wasn’t about business, chasing big deals, chasing money. Instead, I had the feeling that it was about satisfying ordinary small customers, and even often promoting aquaristics. Some initiatives were presented on a large area, such as Garnelen forum, Cichliden Tage, and finally, the Diskus Championship and Bewertungsschau des EHBBC – the fighting fish exhibition. An incredible number of people, approximately 40,000, visited the exhibition, which lasted from October 2nd to October 10th, 2008. There was interest in everything, water plants, equipment, literature, fish, and the cichlid exhibition. The goods were diverse, the offer was enticing, and I will definitely return to Duisburg.

Es handelt sich um eine Zuchtbörse, die sich jedoch ziemlich von einer anderen in Nürnberg durchgeführten unterscheidet. Mir gefiel sehr gut, dass die Duisburger Messe auf mich „warm“ wirkte. Es ging nicht um Geschäft, nicht um die Jagd nach großen Deals, nicht um Geld. Eher hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es darum ging, die einfachen kleinen Kunden zufriedenzustellen, und sogar oft um die Förderung der Aquaristik. Auf einer großen Fläche präsentierten sich einige Initiativen wie Garnelenforum, Cichliden Tage und schließlich auch die Diskusmeisterschaft und Bewertungsschau des EHBBC – die Ausstellung der Kampffische. Eine unglaubliche Anzahl von Menschen, etwa 40.000, besuchte die Messe, die vom 2. bis 10. Oktober 2008 dauerte. Es gab Interesse an allem, Wasserplanzen, Ausrüstung, Literatur, Fische und die Ausstellung der Buntbarsche. Die Ware war vielfältig, das Angebot verlockend, und ich werde definitiv nach Duisburg zurückkehren.

Akvafit Žilina

V Žiline ZO Akvafit začala v decembri 2009 organizovať vždy každú prvú nedeľu v mesiaci v Dome techniky na ulici Vysokoškolákov, akvaristickú burzu. Akcia sa koná spolu s vtáčkarskou (exotárskou) burzou, ktorá sa koná už dlhé roky. Prvá akcia sa konala 6.12.2009 od 6:30 do 11:30. Exotárska časť vtedy skončila 9:30, ako býva zvykom. Aj mňa zaskočilo, že akcie sa konajú v nedeľu a ešte k tomu tak skoro ráno. Čudoval som sa, aj keď som vedel, že exotári to tak majú vo zvyku aj v iným mestách Slovenska. My sme sa na prvú burzu vybrali štyria z Bratislavy v dvoch autách. Jeden z nás dokonca ani nebral žiadny tovar. Aj my ostatní sme šli skôr naľahko oťukať terén. Okrem nás prišli aj Ostraváci, Poliaci, iní Bratislavčania a nejakí domáci. Veľmi sa nám páčili stoly, ktoré boli pevné a aj pekné. Páčilo sa nám aj množstvo ľudí, ktoré prišlo. Odhadujem viac ako 500 ľudí. My sme dorazili asi 5:45 na miesto a už sa aj trúsili pomedzi nás aj prví zákazníci. O siedmej hodine ráno tam bol nával. Po deviatej začalo ľudí evidentne ubúdať. Akvaristov prišlo samozrejme pomenej, ale to sa dalo očakávať. Exotári však neohrdli a popozerali aj našu ponuku a podaktorí utratili aj dáke euryčká. Ja som zase rád popozeral ich , ale eurá som minul iba na párky a kofolu v miestnom pridruženom „bufete„. Bufet bol zaujímavý – promptný, sympatický personál, predával sa aj PMDD. Snáď sa ho nik nenapil ;-). Akvaristická časť ponúkala , , , slimáky, suché, živé, mrazené. Najmä mrazené krmivo bol výborný tovar, plné auto ktorým ho istý Poliak doniesol, ostalo skoro prázdne. Mrazené ponúkali aj Ostraváci, okrem toho mali živé patentky, koretry, nitenky, dafnie aj mikry. Po akcii sme sa premiestnili tuším štyrmi autami ku Jankovi Budaiovi, kde nám ukázal jeho klenoty. Po odchode od Jana sme nabrali kurz .

Medzitým sa konalo už množstvo týchto búrz. Reakcie na ne neboli vždy len pozitívne. Pikošky, ktoré šli v Bratislave, v Žiline nechcel skoro nikto. Druhá takáto spoločná exotársko-akvaristická akcia bola 3.1.2010, čo je z môjho pohľadu hrozný termín. Napriek tomu prebehla ku spokojnosti všetkých :-)). Každopádne si myslím, takéto akcie sa nám páčili po každej stránke. Vďaka tradícii exotárov a pravidelnosti budú pre nás prínosom. Myslím samozrejme aj na pozíciu predajcov aj zákazníkov. Samozrejmé je aj to, že záujmy exotárov a akvaristov sa prelínajú aj odlišujú. Ich motivácia chovať aj kupovať je podobná. Teším sa preto na ďalšie akcie.

In Žilina, the Zoological Organization Akvafit started organizing an aquarium market every first Sunday of the month at the House of Technology on Vysokoškolákov Street in December 2009. The event is held together with an exotic bird market, which has been taking place for many years. The first event took place on December 6, 2009, from 6:30 to 11:30. The exotic part ended at 9:30, as is customary. I was surprised that the events take place on Sundays and so early in the morning, although I knew that exotic enthusiasts have this habit in other cities in Slovakia.

Four of us from Bratislava attended the first market in two cars. One of us didn’t even bring any goods; we were there to explore the terrain lightly. Besides us, participants came from Ostrava, Poland, other Bratislavans, and some locals. We liked the sturdy and nice-looking tables and were impressed by the number of people attending. I estimate more than 500 people were present. We arrived around 5:45 am, and the first customers were already mingling among us. By 7 am, there was a rush, and after 9 am, the number of people started to decrease. Naturally, fewer aquarium enthusiasts attended, but that was expected. Exotic bird enthusiasts also explored our offerings, and some spent a few euros. I enjoyed looking at their birds, but I only spent money on hot dogs and cola at the local „buffet,“ which was interesting – prompt service, friendly staff, and they even sold PMDD. Hopefully, no one drank it ;-). The aquarium section offered fish, plants, shrimp, snails, and various types of dry, live, and frozen feeds. Especially the frozen feed was excellent; a full car brought by a certain Pole was almost empty by the end. The Ostrava participants also offered frozen goods, along with live killifish, catfish, loaches, daphnia, and baby brine shrimp.

After the event, we moved with about four cars to Janko Budaio’s place, where he showed us his treasures. After leaving Janko’s, we set course for Bratislava. Meanwhile, several such markets have taken place. Reactions to them were not always positive. Trinkets that sold well in Bratislava were not desired in Žilina. The second joint exotic-aquarium event was on January 3, 2010, which, from my perspective, was a terrible date. Nevertheless, it went well to everyone’s satisfaction. In any case, we liked such events from every aspect. Thanks to the tradition of exotic enthusiasts and the regularity, they will be beneficial for us. I also think about the position of both sellers and customers. It’s evident that the interests of exotic enthusiasts and aquarium enthusiasts overlap and differ. Their motivation to breed and buy is similar. I look forward to future events.

Salamandrové slávnosti v Banskej Štiavnici

V Banskej Štiavnici sa každoročne konajú oslavy mesta – tzv. Salamandrové dni. V roku 2009 som bol prítomný počas posledného dňa takéhoto . Bol som svedkom okrem iného divadla pre , čohosi ako jarmoku a viacerých vystúpení hudobníkov. Na fotografiách je ľudová z maďarského Sopronu, s ktorým ma mesto dlhoročnú spoluprácu. Potešili ma svojou veselosťou. Na jarmoku bola aj časť, kde sa prezentovala Sopron. Neskôr ma  upútala česká skupina Terne Čhave.

Salamander bol pôvodne slávnostný sprievod poslucháčov banskoštiavnickej akadémie. Konal sa vždy po zotmení, vo svetle baníckych kahanov a fakieľ. Po roku 1919, kedy sa odsťahovala Vysoká škola banícka a lesnícka do Šopronu, bohatý spoločenský život prestal. K obnoveniu došlo po roku 1935. Po 2. svetovej vojne sa tradícia salamandrových sprievodov obnovila 10.9.1949. Do roku 1993 sa však uskutočnil iba 8 krát. Od roku 1993 sa koná každoročne v druhý septembrový týždeň. Názov je odvodený pod pohybu salamandry škvrnitej. Napodobňujúc jej prechádza sprievod z jednej strany na druhú, čo pri osvetľovaní dobovými svietidlami vytvára pôsobivé . V sprievode sa pohybuje 580 postáv, ktoré znázorňujú hlavne prácu a život obyvateľov mesta. Sprievod sa pohybuje pomaly a dôstojne, vlní sa z jednej strany ulice na druhú (banskastiavnica.sk).

In Banská Štiavnica, the annual celebration of the city, known as Salamander Days, takes place. In 2009, I was present during the last day of this event. I witnessed various activities, including a children’s theater, a fair-like event, and several musical performances. The photos feature folk music from the Hungarian town of Sopron, with which Banská Štiavnica has a longstanding partnership. They delighted me with their cheerfulness. There was also a part of the fair where Sopron was presented. Later, the Czech group Terne Čhave caught my attention.

Originally, the Salamander was a festive procession of students from the Banská Štiavnica Academy. It always took place after dusk, illuminated by miner’s lamps and torches. After 1919, when the Mining and Forestry University moved to Sopron, the rich social life ceased. It was revived after 1935. After World War II, the tradition of Salamander processions was restored on September 10, 1949. However, until 1993, it only occurred eight times. Since 1993, it has been held annually in the second week of September. The name is derived from the movement of the spotted salamander. Mimicking its movement, the procession crosses the street, creating a captivating theater with period lighting. The parade includes 580 figures, mainly depicting the work and life of the city’s inhabitants. The procession moves slowly and gracefully, undulating from one side of the street to the other (banskastiavnica.sk).

20.9. 2014 sa konal ďalší Fotopark

Fotoparky sú výbornou príležitosťou na to, aby aj širšia verejnosť videla . Je to aj dobrá príležitosť pre vystavovateľa prezentovať svoj pohľad na svet.

On September 0.9, 2014, another PhotoPark took place.

PhotoParks are an excellent opportunity for the broader public to experience art. It also provides exhibitors with a good chance to showcase their perspective on the world.

Rok 2011 25.6.2011 sa konal ďalší ročník parkovej fotografií, ktoré poriada FOPA na Tyršovom nábreží. Až na jednu krátkodobú silnú prehánku to bolo fajn. Počas nej mi síce zmokli, ale neroztopil som sa ani ja, ani fotky ;-). Tentokrát bol program bohatší napr. o hudobné vystúpenie bubeníkov, o grafiti diela, ktoré sa tvorili priamo na mieste. V neposlednom rade sa organizátori postarali o bagety, ktoré boli naozaj výborné, napriek tomu, že boli balené a o pivko. Vystavujúcim a asi organizátorom padli určite vhod. Výborná bola aj široká diskusia nad vystavenými fotografiami na konci akcie, aj keď je pravda, že začala príliš neskoro na to, ako veľmi dlho trvala :-). Obdržané čestné uznanie za sépiové fotografie slovenskej krajiny potešilo.

In the year 2011, on June 25, another edition of the park photography exhibition organized by FOPA took place on Tyršovo nábrežie. Except for a short but intense rain shower, it was great. Although the rain soaked my photographs, neither I nor the pictures melted ;-). This time, the program was enriched with features such as a musical performance by drummers and graffiti artworks created directly on-site. Last but not least, the organizers took care of baguettes, which were truly delicious, despite being packaged, and some beer. This surely pleased both exhibitors and, likely, the organizers themselves. The wide-ranging discussion about the exhibited photographs at the end of the event was excellent, even though it started a bit too late considering how long it lasted :-). Receiving an honorable mention for sepia-toned photographs of the Slovak landscape was a delightful recognition.

Rok 2010 19. júna 2010 sa konal v Bratislave Fotopark. Zúčastnil som sa ho a vybral som naň fotografie v sépiovej forme z Talianskych miest. Konkrétne z Benátok, Verony a Padovy. A k tomu som pridal fotky muzikantské, ktoré som nafotil v Banskej Štiavnici. Šlo o českú rómsku kapelu Terne Čhave. Atmosféra bola fajn. Ja sa nemal chuť sa socializovať, takže som sa venoval hlavne svojim fotografiám. Spokojný som odchádzal o 18-ej. O Fotojatku som záujem nemal, vzhľadom na to, že som mal toho dosť a komáre mojej chuti ostať nepridali. Fotojatka bolo premietanie a diskusia nad dielami majstrov fotografie. Určite to bolo zaujímavé a podnetné, ja som však mal iné zámery. Možno nabudúce. Fotografovať samotnú akciu sa mi veľmi nechcelo, preto som to trošku odflákol a pofotil som takmer iba vystavované fotografie, ktoré ma zaujali.

On June 19, 2010, Fotopark took place in . I participated in it and selected sepia-toned photographs of Italian cities, specifically Venice, Verona, and Padua. Additionally, I included pictures of musicians taken in , featuring the Czech Roma band Terne Čhave. The atmosphere was enjoyable. I didn’t feel like socializing, so I focused mainly on my photographs. I left home satisfied around 6 PM. I wasn’t interested in Fotojatko due to having had enough and the mosquitoes not encouraging me to stay. Fotojatko involved screenings and discussions about the works of photography masters. It was certainly interesting and inspiring, but I had different intentions. Maybe next time. I wasn’t particularly eager to photograph the event itself, so I took it easy and captured mostly the exhibited photographs that caught my interest.

Rok 2008 21.6.2008 na Tyršovom nábreží, v Bratislavskej Petržalke usporiadal Bratislavský fotoklub profesionálov a amatérov – FOPA parkovú výstavu fotografií – FOTOPARK Šlo o druhý ročník. Zúčastnil som sa jej aj ja s desiatimi fotografiami. Bolo to veľmi zaujímavé stretnutie pre mňa, videl som tvorbu iných, počul rôzne názory a niekedy s úžasom sledoval aj fotografie, aj rôzne reakcie. Úžas bol aj pozitívny aj negatívny :-)). Videl som, že na FOTOPARK do Bratislavy prišli vystavovať aj pre mňa známi z Piešťan. Moje fotografie som nepovažoval za extra úžasné ;-), aj vzhľadom na to, že som si vybral fotky mestského až pohľadnicového typu. Potešilo ma, že deviatim mojim fotografiám sa ušlo po nejakom štipci. Každý dostal tri štipce, pomocou ktorých mohol prejaviť svoj vkus. Ja som svoje tri štipce dal trom výtvarne ladených fotografiám Igora Šperku. Veľmi sa mi páčia takéto fotografie.

In 2008, on June 21, the Bratislava Photoclub of Professionals and Amateurs – FOPA organized a park exhibition of photographs – FOTOPARK on Tyršovo nábrežie in Bratislava’s Petržalka. It was the second edition. I participated with ten photographs. It was a very interesting encounter for me, as I got to see the work of others, heard various opinions, and sometimes watched photographs and reactions with amazement, both positive and negative :-)). I noticed that people I knew from also came to exhibit at FOTOPARK in Bratislava. I didn’t consider my photographs exceptionally amazing ;-), especially since I chose cityscape and postcard-type photos. It pleased me that my nine photographs received some recognition. Everyone was given three tokens to express their taste. I allocated my three tokens to three artistically styled photographs by Igor Šperka. I really like such photographs.
