During this time, cer­tain plant spe­cies enter a sta­te of vege­ta­ti­ve rest, tem­po­ra­ri­ly quie­ting the­ir gro­wth and deve­lop­ment. It’s as if natu­re is hol­ding its own bre­ath, rea­dy for the rene­wal of life in the next cycle.
