Dominantnou úlohou útvaru čestnej je reprezentácia prezidenta Slovenskej republiky, ozbrojených síl Slovenskej republiky a Slovenskej republiky. Vykonáva čestné stráženie sídla prezidenta a hostí prezidenta v jeho sídle. Vykonáva , najmä pri oficiálnych návštevách predstaviteľov iných štátov. V čase , vojnového stavu, výnimočného stavu a núdzového stavu plní prezidenta (mil.sk). Čestné stráženie sa vykonáva po celú dobu prítomnosti prezidenta v Prezidentskom paláci, spravidla v pracovných dňoch od 8.00 hod. do 18.00 hod. Striedanie strážnych sa koná každých 60 minút, každú celú hodinu. sa koná cez pracovné o 12.00 hod (prezident.sk). Dôstojníci Čestnej stráže sú vyzbrojení šabľou dlhou 985 mm. Čepeľ je z ušľachtilej ocele, pošva zo smrekového dreva potiahnutého kožou. Mužstvo je pri zvláštnych príležitostiach vyzbrojené kresadlovou puškou s hlavňou dlhou 1080 mm. Útvar tiež používa samonabíjaciu pušku vzoru 52 a pušku vzoru 52/57, obe československej výroby (mil.sk).

Jednotka čestnej stráže bola zriadená prvý krát koncom roka 1968. Po vzniku Slovenskej republiky sa reorganizoval . Mal dva prápory, jeden plní úlohy pre prezidenta Slovenskej republiky a druhy pre ostatných ústavných činiteľov a najvyšších vojenských predstaviteľov. Miesta výkonu čestného boli Bratislavský hrad, a od 30.9.1996 (Prezidentský). Od 1.8.2001 vznikol samostatný Slovenskej republiky (mil.sk). Osobitnú si zasluhujú aj Čestnej stráže, ktoré majú výrazne reprezentačný charakter. Sú ladené do bielo-modro-červenej farebnej kombinácie slovenských národných farieb a doplnené zlatými detailmi. Pri niektorých príležitostiach sa používajú aj , ktoré majú odkazovať na a symboliku slovenskej vojenskej histórie.

Ja som v rokoch 1999 – 2000 absolvoval základnú vojenskú službu ako člen čestnej stráže prezidenta SR. Okrem čestného stráženia chodili „vítať“ rôznych štátnikov, diplomatov, stavali sa . Možno, tí ktorí vedia akú úlohu zvykol mať pisár na „vojne“, tak si vedia predstaviť, čo to asi pre mňa znamenalo. Okrem iného sme bežne používali typu: ideme postaviť plné pocty, štátnu akciu, potrebujem 30 vojakov požičať z druhej roty, od vládnych čestňákov :-). Počas svojho ročného pobytu som dvakrát mohol prísť v uniforme Čestnej stráže . Párkrát som v takejto slávnostnej uniforme bol v historickej budove Slovenského národného divadla v prezidentskej lóži. Musím povedať, že to malo . Raz som mal na sebe aj historickú uniformu, aká je tu – mil.sk. Bola mimoriadne pohodlná. Pokiaľ viem, časom sa začala používať oveľa viac (Peter ).

Slávnostné čestnej stráže medzi výrazné štátu a sú neodmysliteľnou súčasťou protokolu. Tréning príslušníkov čestnej stráže je veľmi náročný – dôraz sa kladie na disciplínu, presnosť, zosúladenie krokov i estetiku pohybov. Zahraniční často prirovnávajú striedanie stráží v Bratislave k podobným ceremoniálom v Londýne, Prahe alebo Budapešti, hoci má svoje špecifické slovenské .

je súčasťou Ozbrojených síl SR a patrí pod Vojenskú kanceláriu prezidenta SR. Táto kancelária zabezpečuje velenie útvaru a plní jeho nadriadenú organizačnú funkciu (Wikipedia). K 14. októbru 2024 útvar čestnej stráže tvorí 172 mužov a 20 žien. Od svojho vzniku sa útvar zúčastnil na viac ako 5 000 protokolárnych aktivitách, ako sú či vojenské pocty (teraz.sk). Okrem reprezentácie štátu sa Čestná stráž zapája do rôznych charitatívnych aktivít – pomáha , onkologickému oddeleniu na Kramároch či Slovenskému Červenému krížu, a účinkuje aj v galaprogramoch (stvr.sk).

The dominant role of the Guard of Honour unit is the representation of the President of the Slovak Republic, the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak Republic itself. performs ceremonial guarding of the president’s residence and his guests at the residence. The Guard of Honour unit was established for the time at the end of 1968. After the establishment of the Slovak Republic, the guard battalion was reorganized into the Regiment of Castle and Guard of Honour. It had two battalions, one fulfilling duties for the President of the Slovak Republic and the other for other constitutional officials and the highest military representatives. The places of ceremonial guarding included Castle, the Primate’s Palace, and, since 30 September 1996, the Grassalkovich Palace (the Presidential Palace). On 1 August 2001, the independent unit of the Guard of Honour of the President of the Slovak Republic was created (mil.sk). Special attention is also deserved by the uniforms of the Guard of Honour, which have a distinctly representative character. They are designed in the white-blue-red colour scheme of the Slovak national colours and complemented with golden details. On certain occasions, historical uniforms are also used, which are meant to refer to the traditions and symbolism of Slovak military history.

In the years 1999 – 2000, I completed my compulsory military service as a member of the Guard of Honour of the President of the Slovak Republic. In addition to ceremonial guarding, we would go to “welcome” various statesmen and diplomats and form honour cordons. Perhaps those who know the role that a clerk usually had during “the army” can what this might have meant for me. Among other things, we commonly used expressions such as: we are going to set up full honours, a state event, I need to borrow 30 soldiers from the second company, from the government guards :-). During my year of service, I was allowed twice to come home in the Guard of Honour uniform. Several times, I wore this ceremonial uniform in the historical building of the Slovak National Theatre in the presidential box. I must say it had style. Once I also wore a historical uniform like the one here – mil.sk. It was extremely comfortable. As far as I know, over time it began to be used much more ().

The ceremonial activities of the Guard of Honour are among the most significant visual symbols of the state and form an inseparable part of protocol. Training of Guard of Honour members is very demanding – emphasis is placed on discipline, precision, synchronization of steps, and the aesthetics of movements. Foreign tourists often compare the changing of the guard in Bratislava to similar ceremonies in London, , or Budapest, although it has its own specifically Slovak features.

The Guard of Honour of the President of the Slovak Republic is part of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic and falls under the Military Office of the President of the Slovak Republic. This office ensures the command of the unit and fulfils its superior organizational role (). As of 14 October 2024, the Guard of Honour unit consisted of 172 men and 20 women. Vznik hudby môžeme datovať na dobu, kedy sa človek snažil napodobňovať hlasy živočíchov. Išlo tak zrejme trochu o podvedomý efekt, kedy človek prišiel na melódiu. Neverili by ste, koľko rôznych tónov je v krátkej – trebárs 0.5 sekundovej sekvencii spevu nejakého vtáka. človeka to nedokážu vnímať uvedomovane – je to ako pri sledovaní filmu, kedy si tiež neuvedomujeme, že film, ktorý sledujeme je poskladaný zo statických obrázkov, ktoré idú rýchlosťou 25 obrázkov za sekundu. History of Music

The origin of music can be traced back to a time when humans attempted to mimic the sounds of animals. It was likely a somewhat subconscious effect, where humans discovered melody. You wouldn’t believe how many different tones are present in a short sequence, such as a 0.5-second singing of a bird. Human senses cannot consciously perceive these tones, similar to watching a movie where we don’t realize that the film, which we are watching, is composed of static images moving at a speed of 25 frames per second. However, the brain likely registered these melodies and gradually taught humans to sing.

Ľudová hudba

Ide zrejme o najfrekventovanejšiu formu hudby, aspoň pokiaľ ide o históriu. Bola to hudba obyčajne jednoduchých ľudí, ktorí si medzi sebou jednotlivé dielka odovzdávali počas mnoho generácii. Ľudová hudba v dnešnej podobe je už značne vyumelkovaná umeleckými nástrojmi. K ľudovej hudbe bezpochyby patrí aj špecifický odev – kroj a zvyky jednotlivých oblastí. Na Slovensku vzniklo mnoho diferencovaných folklórnych oblastí, v ktorých je bohatstvo národa.

Folk Music

It is arguably the most prevalent form of music, at least in terms of history. Folk music was the music of ordinary people, who passed individual pieces among themselves through many generations. Contemporary folk music has become quite sophisticated with artistic instruments. Folk music undoubtedly includes specific attire – folk costumes and customs of various regions. In Slovakia, numerous diversified folklore regions have emerged, reflecting the richness of the nation.

Jedným zo zvlášť umelecky hodnotných počinov je použitie hudobných motívov v muzikálnej – inštrumentálnej forme. Spomeniem napr. na celom svete známu skupinu Berkyho Mrenicu. Diabolské husle hovoria za všetko. Tento súbor sa skvele popasoval aj z dielami majstrov klasickej hudby, ako boli Johann Sebastian Bach, Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Johannes Brahms atď. Inou skupinou je známy maďarský orchester Budapešť, ktorý má úctyhodné parametre. Ďalšou skupinou je v podstate hardrocková severomoravská skupina Fleret, ktorá čiastočne využíva motívy ľudovej hudby. Ďalšou skupinou je Točkolotoč, viacmenej zoskupenie bratov Peštovcov, ktorí hrajú veľmi muzikálne.

One of the particularly artistically valuable endeavors is the use of musical motifs in the musical – instrumental form. For example, I will mention the globally renowned group Berkyho Mrenica. The devilish violins speak for themselves. This ensemble has handled masterpieces of classical music masters such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Johannes Brahms, and others excellently. Another group is the famous Hungarian orchestra Budapest, which boasts impressive parameters. Yet another group is the essentially hard North Moravian band Fleret, which partially incorporates motifs from folk music. Another group is Točkolotoč, more or less an assembly of the Pešto brothers, who play very musically.

Počiatky klasickej hudby siahajú snáď do 15. storočia. Myslím, že druhá opera v histórii bola Daphne. Najpompéznejšou formou klasickej – vážnej hudby je práve opera. Je to vlastne spevohra. V minulosti hudobní skladatelia skladali množstvo opier, ako storočia ubiehali, ich klesal. Dnes sa komponujú aj hybridy ako rocková opera apod. Hudobné diela sa skladali väčšinou pre duchovné účely, postupne chrámovú hudbu nahrádza svetská. Velikánmi svetovej hudby boli napr. – Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Peter Iljič Čajkovskij, Hector Berlioz, Franz Schubert, Frederyk Chopin, Robert Schummann, Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Antonio Vivaldi, Giussepe , Gioacino Puccini. Medzi najslávnejšie diela patrí Verdiho Nabucco, Rigoletto, Traviatta, Mozartova Figarova svadba, , Requiem, Pucciniho Barbier zo Sevilly, , Vivaldiho Štyri ročné obdobia, Griegov Peer Gynt, Berliozova Fantastická symfónia, Beethovenova 9. symfónia Óda na radosť, Bachova Fúga A moll, Čajkovského , Luskáčik, Schubertove …

Classical Music

The beginnings of classical music date back to perhaps the 15th century. I believe the second opera in history was Daphne. The most pompous form of classical – serious music is, in fact, opera. It is essentially a musical drama. In the past, composers composed numerous operas, but as centuries passed, their number declined. Today, hybrids like rock operas are also composed, and so on. Musical works were mostly composed for spiritual purposes, gradually replaced by secular music. Giants of world music include, for example, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Peter Iljič Čajkovskij, Hector Berlioz, Franz Schubert, Frederyk Chopin, Robert Schummann, Edvard Hagerup Grieg, Antonio Vivaldi, , Gioacino Puccini. Among the most famous works are Verdi’s Nabucco, Rigoletto, Traviatta, Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, Requiem, Puccini’s The Barber of Seville, Tosca, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Grieg’s Peer Gynt, Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony Ode to Joy, Bach’s Fugue in A Minor, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Schubert’s songs, and more.

Okrem opery existujú aj iné klasické formy hudobných diel, , operety, suity, menuety, koncerty, polky, mazurky, fúgy, balet, piesne, filharmonické diela, diela pre sláčikové kvartetá atď. Aj z klasickej hudby čerpali niektorí umelci z iných oblastí, resp. opačne. Napr. vyššie spomínaný Berky Mrenica, ďalej Vanessa Mae – ktorá hrá Johanna Sebastiana Bacha – vážne aj v pop-e. Ďalšie príklady: Apocalyptica – fínske zoskupenie hrajúce repertoár metalovej formácie Metallica. , ktorý najmä v zoskupení Collegium Musicum na klávesoch doslova čaruje. Jeho Hommage alla Bach, alebo napr. skladba na motívy Korsakovovej Šeherezády, sú grandiózne. Londýnsky symfonický orchester zvykne z času na čas vyprodukovať v podstate klasické dielo na motívy populárnej hudby. Myslím, že je to slušné ocenenie pre hudobné telesá. Napr. z produkcie skupín ABBA, Jethro Tull, Police. Máloktorý umelec – skladateľ dokáže komponovať v rôznych žánroch, tobôž nie v celkom odlišných smeroch. Paulovi McCartneymu sa to podarilo – ide o unikátny prípad, kedy skladateľ slávnej rockovej skupiny Beatles zložil celkom úspešne klasické dielo – myslím, že šlo dokonca o chrámové symfonické dielo. Podobné motívy ako v klasickej hudbe možno nájsť najmä v jazze.

In addition to opera, there are also other classical forms of musical compositions, such as symphonies, operettas, suites, minuets, concertos, polkas, mazurkas, fugues, ballets, songs, philharmonic works, compositions for string quartets, and so on. Some artists from other genres drew inspiration from classical music, and vice versa. For example, the aforementioned Berky Mrenica, Vanessa Mae – who plays Johann Sebastian Bach, both in classical and pop music. Other examples include Apocalyptica, a Finnish group playing the repertoire of the metal band Metallica. Marian Varga, especially in the group Collegium Musicum, captivates with his keyboard skills. His Hommage alla Bach or compositions inspired by Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade are magnificent. The London Symphony Orchestra occasionally produces essentially classical works based on popular music themes. I think it’s a decent recognition for musical ensembles. For instance, productions from groups like ABBA, Jethro Tull, and The Police. Not many artists or composers can compose in various genres, let alone entirely different directions. Paul McCartney achieved this – a unique case where the composer of the famous rock group The Beatles successfully composed a classical work, even a symphonic work for the church. Similar motifs to classical music can be found, especially in jazz.

Niektoré klasické diela vyžadujú vysokú inštrumentálnu zručnosť pri hraní na hudobné nástroje. Je celkom pochopiteľné, že sami skladatelia ňou často oplývali. Za najväčšieho klavírneho virtuóza sa pokladá zrejme Artur Rubinstein, za husľových virtuózov zase Sebastiano Correlli, Antonio Vivaldi, Nicolo Paganini. Ich veľkým obdivovateľom a rovnako skvelým virtuózov bol aj relatívne nedávno zosnulý Yehudi Menuhin.

V poslednej dobe sa roztrhlo vrece s muzikálmi. Ide o kombináciu hudby a divadla. Vo svete sú najznámejšie My Fair Lady, Hello Dolly, Chorus Line, v našich končinách sú to , Johanka z Arku, , Rusalka, Pomáda.

Some classical works require high instrumental skill when played on musical instruments. It is quite understandable that composers themselves often excelled in this skill. Artur Rubinstein is considered one of the greatest piano virtuosos, while Sebastiano Correlli, Antonio Vivaldi, and Nicolo Paganini are regarded as virtuosos on the violin. The late Yehudi Menuhin was not only a great admirer but also an equally excellent virtuoso in his own right.

Už dlhší čas je populárna hudba najpreferovanejšiu formu hudby súčasnosti. Existuje mnoho štýlov, od muzikálnych až po gýčovité elektronické výplody. Ja spomeniem hlavne tie (aj klasické štýly), ktoré hodnotím ako pozitívne. Prosím o zhovievavosť s kategóriami hudby, nedá sa všetko jednoducho zaradiť.

For quite some time, popular music has been the most preferred form of contemporary music. There are many styles, ranging from musical to kitschy electronic creations. I will mention mainly those (including classical styles) that I consider positive. Please be understanding about the categorization of music; it’s not always straightforward.

Jazz

Počiatky jazzu siahajú do konca 19. st. a začiatku 20. storočia. Ide o hudbu afroameričanov, za kolísku sa považuje New Orleans. Podľa mňa ide o najmuzikálnejšiu formu. Jazz

The origins of jazz date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a music form of African Americans, with New Orleans being considered its birthplace. Fotografovaním vyjadrujem moje , moje vnímanie vecí a udalostí. Počas samotného fotografovania, ktoré je pre mňa zážitkom, sa nachádzam akoby v inom stave. Každému, kto sa pokúša nejako vyjadriť, želám zažiť ten pocit, keď sa mu začne javiť inak. Keď začnú byť pestrejšie, krajšie, a zreteľnejšie. Keď objaví, že všedné, ktoré si predtým nevšímal, sú zaujímavé a vôbec nie biedne. Každá chvíľa je osobitá, niekedy vďaka svetlu, okolnostiam, veciam, vďaka použitej technike, alebo jednoducho vďaka vám. A to je dobre :-).

Through photography, I express my emotions, my perception of things, and events. During the act of taking pictures, which is an experience for me, I find myself in a different state. I wish everyone attempting to express themselves to experience that feeling when the world starts appearing differently. When colors become more vivid, more beautiful, and lines and structures become more distinct. When one discovers that ordinary things, previously unnoticed, are interesting and far from mundane. Every moment is unique, sometimes thanks to light, circumstances, objects, the technique used, or simply thanks to you. And that’s a good :-).

Durch das Fotografieren drücke ich meine Gefühle, meine Wahrnehmung von Dingen und Ereignissen aus. Während des Fotografierens, das für mich ein Erlebnis ist, befinde ich mich in einem anderen Zustand. Jeder, der versucht, sich irgendwie auszudrücken, wünsche ich das Gefühl zu erleben, wenn die Welt für ihn anders erscheint. Wenn die Farben lebendiger, schöner werden und Linien sowie Strukturen klarer werden. Wenn er entdeckt, dass alltägliche Dinge, die er zuvor übersehen hat, interessant sind und überhaupt nicht arm. Jeder Moment ist einzigartig, manchmal durch das Licht, die Umstände, die Dinge, die verwendete Technik oder einfach durch Sie. Und das ist gut :-).

Fotografowanie jest dla mnie wyrazem moich uczuć, mojej percepcji rzeczy i wydarzeń. Podczas samego fotografowania, co jest dla mnie przeżyciem, znajduję się jakby w innym stanie. Każdemu, kto próbuje się jakoś wyrazić, życzę przeżycia tego uczucia, gdy świat zaczyna się dla niego ukazywać inaczej. Gdy kolory stają się bardziej intensywne, piękniejsze, a linie i struktury stają się wyraźniejsze. Gdy odkrywa, że zwykłe rzeczy, które wcześniej pomijał, są interesujące i wcale nie biedne. Każdy moment jest wyjątkowy, czasem dzięki światłu, okolicznościom, rzeczom, użytej technice, a czasem po prostu dzięki Tobie. I to jest dobre :-).

Fotózással kifejezem az érzéseimet, az észleléseimet a dolgokról és eseményekről. Magának a fotózásnak, ami számomra egy élmény, közben olyan állapotban vagyok, mintha más világban lennék. Mindenkinek, aki valahogyan próbál kifejeződni, azt kívánom, hogy átélje azt az érzést, amikor a világ más színben kezd látszani számára. Amikor a színek élénkebbek és szebbek lesznek, a vonalak és struktúrák élesebbek. Amikor felfedezi, hogy az eddig észre nem vett mindennapi dolgok érdekesek és egyáltalán nem szegények. Minden pillanat egyedi, néha a fénynek, körülményeknek, dolgoknak, használt technikának köszönhetően, vagy egyszerűen csak neked. És ez jó :-).

Фотографією я виражаю свої почуття, своє сприйняття речей і подій. Під час самого процесу фотографування, який для мене є враженням, я перебуваю, мов у іншому стані. Кожному, хто якось намагається щось виразити, я бажаю відчути той момент, коли світ для нього починає виглядати по-іншому. Коли кольори стають яскравішими, кращими, лінії та структури чіткішими. Коли він відкриває, що звичайні речі, які він раніше не помічав, є цікавими і взагалі не бідними. Кожен момент унікальний, іноді через світло, обставини, речі, використану техніку або просто через вас. І це чудово :-).
