Nežiaduce živočíchy v akváriu

Hits: 11512

Nálevníky zavlečieme najčastejšie do akvária živou potravou. Pomôže správna filtrácia a vzduchovanie. V prípade nutnosti a ak je to vhodné, môžeme pridať do vody soľ. Tá má schopnosť nálevníka zlikvidovať.

Planariaploskulice Turbellaria kmeňa Plathelminthes si môžeme zavliecť živou potravou. Likviduje ich rájovec Macropodus opercularis.

Pijavky Piscicola geometra, Hemiclepis marginata, Haemopis sanguisuga patria medzi podrad Rhynchobdellidae, rad maloštetinavcov – Oligochaeta, triedy Clitellata – opaskovce, kmeňa Annelida – obrúčkavce, prípadne Hemiclepis marginata. Obyčajne si ich donesieme s nitenkami. Likvidujeme ich mechanicky, alebo roztokom hypermangánu.

Arguluskaprivec patrí do podtriedy Branchiura, triedy kôrovcov Crustacea, podkmeňa Branchiata, oddelenia Mandibulata, kmeňa článkonožcov Arthropoda.

Patria do triedy Lamellibranchia (lastúrniky), do kmeňa mäkkýšov Mollusca.

Ostracoda, Phyllopoda, Copepoda, vodné okrúhlovce – kmeň Nemathelminthes, machovky Bryozoa patriace do kmeňa Tentaculata, vodnár striebristýArgyroneta aquaticapodrad Ecribellata, rad Araneida - pavúky, Hydracarina – rad Acarina – roztoče, trieda Arachnoidea – pavúkovce, larvy – najady vážiek – rad Odonata triedy hmyz – Ectognatha – môžu byť pre ryby nebezpečné, sú pomerne veľké (4 cm), larvy potápnikov – napr. druhu Dytiscus marginalis – čeľaď Dytiscidae, podrad Adephaga, veľkého radu hmyzu – chrobákov (Coleoptera), chvostoskokyCollembola – trieda Entognatha, nadtrieda Hexapoda - šesťnôžky, Notonectapatriaca medzi bzdochy Heteroptera

It often happens that despite our efforts, unwanted visitors move into the aquarium – unwanted organisms. We can introduce them from the outside in the form of spores, germs, and so on. It’s almost always better to get rid of them. One such type is a representative of the phylum Cnidaria – Hydra. Hydra, by the way, is a natural indicator of water cleanliness. However, it usually doesn’t last long in the tank. It constantly moves around in the aquarium. It’s mostly harmless but can negatively affect slow-moving fry. Paradise fish, gouramis, and rosy barbs can eliminate Hydra.

Another type is the ciliate. Ciliates are microorganisms of the phylum Ciliophora. We usually introduce ciliates into the aquarium with live food. Among aquarists, the term good ciliates” and bad ciliates” is common. Good ciliates are those that serve as food for fish. Among these, the most well-known protozoa include Paramecium. Bad ciliates are species that are potential sources of infection, capable of harming fish fry, and unnecessarily increasing the decomposition of matter. The most common massive invasion of ciliates causes a milky cloudiness, which occurs mainly in new and freshly established tanks. Sometimes, if we clean the filter improperly under running tap water, the ciliates can multiply exponentially to the point where we can’t see the opposite wall of the tank. Milky cloudiness is nothing terrible; it will disappear” over time. Proper filtration and aeration help. If necessary and appropriate, we can add salt to the water. It has the ability to eliminate ciliates.

Planarians – flatworms of the class Turbellaria, can be introduced into the aquarium with live food. They are eliminated by paradise fish.

Leeches such as Piscicola geometra, Hemiclepis marginata, Haemopis sanguisuga belong to the suborder Rhynchobdellidae, order Hirudinida – leeches, class Clitellata – oligochaetes, order Annelida – segmented worms, and sometimes Hemiclepis marginata. We usually bring them in with threadlike substances. They are eliminated mechanically or with a solution of potassium permanganate.

Argulus – fish louse belongs to the suborder Branchiura, class Crustacea – crustaceans, subclass Branchiata, superclass Mandibulata, phylum Arthropoda – arthropods. If it attacks fish, removing it mechanically helps. It can be treated with a weak solution of trypan blue or potassium permanganate, in which the fish is rinsed.

Representatives of the bivalves Heterodonta – Sphaerium, Pisidium, occasionally make their way into the aquarium. They belong to the class Lamellibranchia (bivalves), phylum Mollusca – mollusks.

Among other organisms that may occur in the aquarium and are often used as food are representatives of small crustaceans such as Ostracoda, Phyllopoda, Copepoda, nematodes – phylum Nemathelminthes, bryozoans – Bryozoa belonging to the phylum Tentaculata, water spider – Argyroneta aquatica – suborder Ecribellata, order Araneida – spiders, water mites – Hydracarina, order Acarina – mites, class Arachnida – arachnids, larvae – dragonfly nymphs – order Odonata class Insecta – Ectognatha – can be dangerous for fish, are relatively large (4 cm), beetle larvae – for example, Dytiscus marginalis – family Dytiscidae, suborder Adephaga, large order of insects – Coleoptera, springtails – Collembola – class Entognatha, superclass Hexapoda – hexapods, water boatman – Notonecta, belonging to the backswimmers Heteroptera

Less common organisms are sometimes offered in aquarium shops. Some of them, which are also often found among aquarists, are the frogs Hymenochirus curtipes. This frog is a big fan of live threadlike organisms. I’ve often seen it confused with the carnivorous and much larger Xenopus laevis. Today, crayfish, crabs, and shrimp are popular. Shrimp and some crayfish are quite popular, especially for their algae-eating behavior. Caridina japonica and CPO” crayfish are particularly popular.
