Zrú­ca­ni­ny sú pozos­tat­ky minu­los­ti, majú svo­je vlast­né tajom­stvá a prí­be­hy na vyroz­prá­va­nie. Sú sved­ka­mi minu­lých čias. Od sta­ro­by­lých hra­dov po pev­nos­ti. Zrú­ca­ni­ny nám posky­tu­jú okno do minu­los­ti, pri­po­mí­na­jú nám his­tó­riu a tajom­stvá našich pred­kov. Sú jedi­neč­ným spo­je­ním minu­los­ti s prí­tom­nos­ťou. Sú dôle­ži­tou súčas­ťou náš­ho kul­túr­ne­ho dedič­stva, kto­rú by sme mali chrá­niť a ctiť. Mno­hé zrú­ca­ni­ny sú spre­vá­dza­né aj legen­da­mi. Od stra­ši­del­ných prí­be­hov o duchoch až po záhad­né záni­ky – kaž­dá zrú­ca­ni­na má svo­je vlast­né mýtic­ké prv­ky. Ich roz­pa­da­jú­ca sa archi­tek­tú­ra ponú­ka­jú jedi­neč­nú pale­tu pre kre­a­tív­ne zábe­ry. Foto­gra­fie zrú­ca­nín neza­chy­tá­va­jú len ich fyzic­kú stav­bu, ale aj atmo­sfé­ru a emó­cie, kto­ré sa s nimi spá­ja­jú. Napriek svoj­mu sta­vu a opus­te­nos­ti môžu byť zrú­ca­ni­ny obno­ve­né a oži­ve­né. Mno­hé komu­ni­ty a nad­šen­ci sa sna­žia obno­viť tie­to his­to­ric­ké mies­ta, či už s cie­ľom zacho­vať ich kul­túr­ne dedič­stvo ale­bo vytvo­riť turis­tic­ké atrakcie.

Ruins are rem­nants of the past, hol­ding the­ir own sec­rets and sto­ries to tell. They bear wit­ness to bygo­ne eras, from ancient cast­les to for­tres­ses. Ruins pro­vi­de us with a win­dow into his­to­ry, remin­ding us of the tales and mys­te­ries of our ances­tors. They are a uni­que con­nec­ti­on bet­we­en the past and the pre­sent, an integ­ral part of our cul­tu­ral heri­ta­ge that deser­ves pro­tec­ti­on and reve­ren­ce. Many ruins are accom­pa­nied by legends, ran­ging from spo­oky ghost sto­ries to mys­te­ri­ous disap­pe­a­ran­ces — each ruin car­ries its own myt­hi­cal elements.

The­ir deca­y­ing archi­tec­tu­re offers a uni­que palet­te for cre­a­ti­ve shots. Pho­tog­raphs of ruins cap­tu­re not only the­ir phy­si­cal struc­tu­res but also the atmo­sp­he­re and emo­ti­ons asso­cia­ted with them. Des­pi­te the­ir sta­te of aban­don­ment, ruins can be revi­ved and revi­ta­li­zed. Many com­mu­ni­ties and ent­hu­siasts stri­ve to res­to­re the­se his­to­ri­cal sites, eit­her to pre­ser­ve the­ir cul­tu­ral lega­cy or to cre­a­te tou­rist att­rac­ti­ons. Ruins, with the­ir enig­ma­tic allu­re, ser­ve as a tes­ta­ment to the pas­sa­ge of time, invi­ting explo­ra­ti­on and ref­lec­ti­on on the nar­ra­ti­ves embed­ded wit­hin the­ir walls.

Pamät­ní­ky sú his­to­ric­ké ale­bo kul­túr­ne sym­bo­ly, kto­ré slú­žia na zacho­vá­va­nie pamä­te o uda­los­tiach, osob­nos­tiach ale­bo obdo­biach. Sú výra­zom spo­lo­čen­skej piet­nos­ti, a ich stav­by ale­bo umiest­ne­nia majú hlbo­ký význam pre spo­loč­nosť a kul­tú­ru. Pamät­ní­ky sú dôle­ži­tým aspek­tom našej kul­tú­ry a his­tó­rie. Posky­tu­jú nám okno do minu­los­ti, pri­po­mí­na­jú nám hod­no­ty a prí­be­hy, kto­ré tvo­ria našu spo­loč­nosť. Pamät­ní­ky nám posky­tu­jú pohľad do minu­los­ti a pri­po­mí­na­jú nám význam­né momen­ty, kto­ré for­mo­va­li našu iden­ti­tu. Pamät­ní­ky môžu byť rôz­ne­ho typu a týkať sa rôz­nych his­to­ric­kých ale­bo kul­túr­nych uda­los­tí. Medzi naj­bež­nej­šie pat­ria sochy, pom­ní­ky, nápi­so­vé dosky, budo­vy a mies­ta piet­ne­ho význa­mu. Kaž­dý pamät­ník nesie svoj vlast­ný prí­beh a sym­bo­li­ku, čím pri­dá­va jedi­neč­ný hlas do his­tó­rie. Hlav­ným úče­lom pamät­ní­kov je ucho­vá­vať pamäť o výni­moč­ných ale­bo dôle­ži­tých uda­los­tiach. Tie­to pamät­ní­ky nám umož­ňu­jú pri­po­me­núť si hrdin­ské činy, poli­tic­ké zvra­ty, kul­túr­ne míľ­ni­ky ale­bo osob­nos­ti, kto­ré ovplyv­ni­li našu spo­loč­nosť. Monu­ments have the abi­li­ty to con­nect us with our iden­ti­ty and cul­tu­ral heri­ta­ge. Wal­king past the­se sym­bols, we remi­nis­ce about the valu­es and events that have sha­ped us. Monu­ments can be pla­ces for solemn remem­bran­ce, ref­lec­ti­on, or sim­ply gat­he­ring to honor the past. It is cru­cial to main­tain and pro­tect monu­ments so that the­ir beau­ty and sig­ni­fi­can­ce endu­re for futu­re gene­ra­ti­ons. Pre­ser­va­ti­on requ­ires care­ful main­te­nan­ce, res­to­ra­ti­on, and pro­tec­ti­on against van­da­lism or natu­ral wear and tear. Addi­ti­onal­ly, it is impor­tant to upda­te monu­ments to ref­lect con­tem­po­ra­ry valu­es and an evol­ving unders­tan­ding of history.

Fes­ti­val his­to­ric­ké­ho šer­mu, hud­by, tan­ca a reme­siel na Deví­ne je pôso­bi­vou uda­los­ťou, kto­rá oži­vu­je his­tó­riu. Zahr­nu­tie tra­dič­ných reme­siel pri­dá­va ďal­ší roz­mer k zážit­ku aj hra­du Devín, umož­ňu­júc náv­štev­ní­kom sle­do­vať a oce­niť zruč­nos­ti a tech­ni­ky reme­sel­ní­kov z minu­lých čias. Fes­ti­val slú­ži ako dyna­mic­ká plat­for­ma pre účast­ní­kov i divá­kov na inte­rak­ciu s rôz­ny­mi aspekt­mi his­tó­rie, posil­ňu­júc hlbo­ké poro­zu­me­nie kul­túr­ne­mu dedič­stvu zacho­va­né­mu pro­stred­níc­tvom tých­to púta­vých foriem pre všet­ky generácie.

Rok 2009

Veľ­mi sa mi páči­li naj­mä diva­del­né ukáž­ky, kto­ré si jed­not­li­vé rytier­ske sku­pi­ny pri­pra­vi­li. Zo začiat­ku bol stre­do­ve­ký jar­mok, dnes by sme pove­da­li ukáž­ka ľudo­vých reme­siel, ale skôr his­to­ric­kých. Vza­du sa nachá­dza­la stredoveko-​praveká dedi­na, čo bolo veľ­mi zau­jí­ma­vé, pre­to­že nie­kto­rí účin­ku­jú­ci na fes­ti­va­le to bra­li naozaj veľ­mi váž­ne – viď foto­gra­fie. Vari­li stre­do­ve­ko, oble­če­ní boli stre­do­ve­ko, snáď nie­kto­rí aj star­šie … Vyš­šie na nádvo­rí bolo pódium, kde vystu­po­va­li rôz­ni zabá­va­či a pre­bie­ha­li tam napr. ukáž­ky streľ­by apod. Na svo­je si moh­li prí­sť dospe­lí aj deti. Kedy? 22. – 23.8.2009. Oce­nil som aj ceno­vo veľ­mi dob­rú ponu­ku Slo­vak Pub‑u. Okrem iné­ho si mys­lím, že ponu­ka bola aku­rát­na a obslu­ha bola taká, ako si pred­sta­vu­jem – sym­pa­tic­ká a ochot­ná a bez rečí. Dokon­ca nema­li prob­lé­my ani z mincami.

The Fes­ti­val of His­to­ri­cal Fen­cing, Music, Dan­ce, and Crafts at Devín is an impres­si­ve event that bre­at­hes life into his­to­ry. The inc­lu­si­on of tra­di­ti­onal crafts adds anot­her dimen­si­on to the expe­rien­ce, enri­ching the atmo­sp­he­re of Devín Cast­le and allo­wing visi­tors to obser­ve and app­re­cia­te the skills and tech­ni­qu­es of crafts­men from bygo­ne eras. The fes­ti­val ser­ves as a dyna­mic plat­form for par­ti­ci­pants and spec­ta­tors to inte­ract with vari­ous aspects of his­to­ry, fos­te­ring a deep unders­tan­ding of cul­tu­ral heri­ta­ge pre­ser­ved through the­se cap­ti­va­ting forms for all generations.

Year 2009

I real­ly liked espe­cial­ly the the­at­ri­cal per­for­man­ces that indi­vi­du­al knight­ly groups pre­pa­red. At the begin­ning, the­re was a medie­val fair, today we would call it a demon­stra­ti­on of folk crafts, but more his­to­ri­cal. In the back, the­re was a medieval-​prehistoric vil­la­ge, which was very inte­res­ting becau­se some par­ti­ci­pants in the fes­ti­val took it very seri­ous­ly – see pho­tos. They cooked medieval-​style, dres­sed in medie­val atti­re, some per­haps even older… Hig­her up in the cour­ty­ard, the­re was a sta­ge whe­re vari­ous enter­tai­ners per­for­med, and the­re were, for exam­ple, arche­ry demon­stra­ti­ons, and so on. Both adults and chil­dren could enjoy them­sel­ves. When? August 22 – 23, 2009. I also app­re­cia­ted the very good and rea­so­nab­ly pri­ced offer from the Slo­vak Pub. Among other things, I think the menu was accu­ra­te, and the ser­vi­ce was just as I ima­gi­ne – friend­ly and wil­ling, wit­hout unne­ces­sa­ry words. They did­n’t even have prob­lems with coins.
