Veľká noc v Piešťanoch

Raz som mal to , že som zbadal už v neskorších hodinách z okna Veľkonočnú procesiu. Nemal som hneď poruke potrebnú techniku, ale výsledok podľa mňa stojí za pozretie. fotografiách vidno, že sprievod obkolesil celý kruhový objazd, pekne sa okolo neho obtočil a pokračoval naspäť smerom ku kostolu, odkiaľ prišiel.

Once, I was fortunate enough to witness the Easter procession in the late hours from my window. I didn’t have the necessary equipment immediately at hand, but, in my opinion, the result is worth seeing. In the photos, you can see that the procession encircled the entire roundabout, elegantly wound around , and continued back towards the church from where it originated.

Einmal hatte ich das Glück, die Osterprozession in den späten Stunden aus meinem Fenster heraus zu beobachten. Ich hatte nicht sofort die notwendige Ausrüstung zur Hand, aber das Ergebnis ist meiner Meinung nach sehenswert. Auf den Fotos ist zu sehen, dass der Umzug den gesamten Kreisverkehr umrundet hat, sich elegant darum gewunden hat und dann in Richtung der Kirche zurückgegangen ist, von wo er gekommen ist.

Text: Je neskorý večer, skoro noc – . Z diaľky zaznieva tiahly . Spieva množstvo ľudí, veľký spevácky zbor. Melódia je povedomá, áno je to . Na ulici ide procesia – vpredu , za nimi kňaz s monštranciou a veriaci. Oslavujú sviatok . Piešťanská procesia, ktorá vychádza z Kostola sv. Cyrila a Metoda, sa líši od ostatných v tom, že prechádza dvoma okružnými križovatkami. Pri oboch stoja a zastavujú premávku, aby procesia mohla nerušene prejsť. Medzitým stále spievajúci veriaci sa otáčajú na druhej okružnej križovatke a pomaly sa uberajú späť ku kostolu.

The melody is familiar; yes, it’s the Alleluia. A procession is moving down the street – altar boys in the front, behind them a priest with the monstrance, and the faithful. They are celebrating the Resurrection feast. The Easter procession in , originating from the Church of St. and Methodius, is different from others in that it passes through two roundabouts. At both, officers stand, stopping so the procession can pass undisturbed. Meanwhile, the continuously singing faithful turn at the second roundabout and slowly make their way back to the church.

Die Melodie ist vertraut, ja, es ist das Halleluja. Eine Prozession bewegt sich die Straße entlang – Ministranten vorneweg, dahinter ein Priester mit der Monstranz und die Gläubigen. Sie feiern das Fest der Auferstehung. Die Osterprozession in Piešťany, die von der Kirche St. Cyril und Methodius ausgeht, unterscheidet sich von anderen darin, dass sie durch zwei Kreisverkehre führt. An beiden stehen Polizisten und stoppen den Verkehr, damit die Prozession ungestört passieren kann. Währenddessen drehen sich die ununterbrochen singenden Gläubigen am zweiten Kreisverkehr um und machen sich langsam auf den Rückweg zur Kirche.
