V Kočovciach sa nachádza pekný park. Je vyhlásený ako Chránený areál. Je to park Kočovského kaštieľa. Vedľa neho sa nachádza jazdecký areál, ktorý je aj centrom hipoterapie. V areáli parku je barokový kaštieľ, ktorý bol postavený podžupanom Jurajom Príleským v roku 1730. V 1880 bol v duchu romantizmu prestavaný vďaka Gejzovi Rakovskému (Regina Hulmanová). Po roku 1884 bol založený park. Kaštieľ je od roku 1967 v užívaní Stavebnej fakulty STU Bratislava (Leták „Učebno-výcvikové zariadenie Stavebnej fakulty STU v Bratislave). Súčasťou kaštieľa je aj koniareň, kde okrem výcvikových jázd pre verejnosť sa poskytuje hipoterapia pre postihnuté deti. Každoročne sa organizuje v auguste Deň otvorených dverí pre deti s postihnutím – súťaž v parkúrovom skákaní „O Považský pohár„ (Wikipedia).
In Kočovce, there is a beautiful park designated as a Protected Area. It is the park of Kočovský Manor. Next to it is an equestrian area, which also serves as the center for hippotherapy. Within the park area stands a baroque manor, built by deputy Štefan Juraj Príleský in 1730. In 1880, it was renovated in the spirit of romanticism thanks to Gejza Rakovský (Regina Hulmanová). After 1884, the park was established. Since 1967, the manor has been used by the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Brochure „Educational and Training Facility of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at STU in Bratislava“). The manor also includes a stable where, in addition to training rides for the public, hippotherapy is provided for children with disabilities. Every year in August, an Open Day for children with disabilities is organized, featuring a show jumping competition called „Považský Cup“ (Wikipedia).
