V roku 1598 bolo v obci 11 domov. V roku 1787 24 domov a 157 obyvateľov. V roku 1900 24 domov a 164 obyvateľov.

Ducové is a village in the Lower Váh region, located about 4 km from Piešťany at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. It covers an area of 2.63 km² and is home to 457 inhabitants. The first written mention dates back to 1348, under the name Duchreuy” (Krupa Vladimír). The village has had various historical names, including Duczev, De-chobrod, Ducibrod, Ducybrod, Duczowa, Ducó, Duczo, Duczove, Duczowa, Duczó, Dutzo, Duczowe, Duczowce, Ducow, Ducov (Marián Klčo, Vladimír Krupa).

The oldest settlement in Ducové dates back to the younger part of the older Stone Age, belonging to the Gravettian culture period (26,00014,000 years BC). Evidence has been found at the Kostolec site and other locations within the village’s territory. The Kostolec location is divided unevenly between Ducové and Hubina. From an archaeological and historical perspective, it is considered a significant Slavic site. It is a national cultural monument. The most important settlement at Kostolec in terms of Slovak history represents the Slovak settlement from the 9th to the 10th century. The constructed fortifications, palisade of oak logs, residential areas with log houses, and the church – rotunda, characterize it as part of the manorial estate of members of the court aristocracy. After the definitive decline of the manor, its area was used until the mid-19th century as a cemetery. In the mid-15th century, probably in connection with the activities of Hussite and Unity of the Brethren troops in the Váh region, a military camp – base was built at Kostolec. The villagers mainly engaged in agriculture. From the mid-16th century, viticulture also played a role. In 1598, there were 11 houses in the village. In 1787, there were 24 houses and 157 inhabitants. In 1900, there were 24 houses and 164 inhabitants. Since July 5, 1990, the National Pilgrimage to Kostolec has been held annually on the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius. Pilgrimages have been taking place regularly since that year (Marián Klčo, Vladimír Krupa).
