Kríže sú symbolické a náboženské objekty, ktoré majú význam v rôznych kultúrach a náboženských tradíciách. Ich tvar a význam môžu byť rôznorodé, a preto majú univerzálnu alebo osobitnú hodnotu pre rôzne komunity. V kresťanstve je kríž jedným z najdôležitejších symbolov. Je to symbol utrpenia, zmŕtvychvstania a nádeje spojený s Ježišovým krížom. Kríže sú rozšírené v kresťanských kostoloch, na cintorínoch, a môžu byť aj súčasťou náboženských obrazov alebo osobných predmetov viery. Kresťanské kríže majú často charakteristický tvar s vodorovným ramenom nad vertikálnym, ale existujú rôzne varianty tohto symbolu. V iných náboženstvách a kultúrach môžu existovať rôzne formy krížov alebo iné podobné symboly s odlišným významom. Napríklad v hinduizme a buddhizme existujú symboly s podobným vzhľadom, ale s iným duchovným významom. Aj v rámci kresťanstva existujú rôzne varianty kríža, ako napríklad kríž s ramenami v tvare písmena „T“ – tzv. kríž svätého Andreja, alebo kríž bez vodorovného ramena – tzv. grécky kríž.
