Corydoras aeneus – panciernik zelený

Hits: 11214

Vyzerá to komicky. Registrujem formu albino, závoj, black Venezuela.

The Green Cory Catfish originates from South America. I consider its care to be trouble-free. The female is fuller than the male. However, it is not suitable for aggressive fish as they won’t leave it in peace. At the very least, they will chase it away, and in a worse case, it might end up with frayed fins or be seriously injured. It prefers cooler water temperatures between 1822 °C. It is sensitive to medications as they can have a toxic effect on it. Reproduction is relatively easy, sometimes even in a community tank. They like to reproduce together, in a group. To induce breeding, it is helpful to lower the water level, decrease the water temperature, and feed live food like small worms. Like other catfish, they occasionally take naps, lying neatly next to each other on a flat surface, especially evident if they choose a higher stone as their resting spot. It looks amusing. Varieties like albino, veil, and black Venezuela are also observed.
