Mária Teré­zia dosta­la ten­to zámok v roku 1755 ako dar. Kon­com 19. sto­ro­čia cisár Fran­ti­šek Jozef objekt pre­ne­chal ríš­skej armá­de. Počas 2. sve­to­vej voj­ny objekt slú­žil nemec­kej armá­de a od roku 1945 rokov, soviet­skej. Až po roku 2002 sa zača­la rekon­štruk­cia. Wäh­rend des Zwe­i­ten Weltk­riegs dien­te das Gebä­u­de der deuts­chen Armee und seit 1945 der sowje­tis­chen Armee. Die Rekons­truk­ti­on begann erst nach 2002. Seit 2005 ist das Sch­loss für die Öffen­tlich­ke­it zugän­glich (sch​loss​hof​.ces​to​va​nie​.biz).
