Leto je krásne obdobie roka, ktoré nám prináša slnečné lúče a teplo, čo zvyčajne evokuje pocit slobody. vtedy oplýva bohatstvom farieb, vôní a chutí. Teplé počasie láka von. Počas leta dozrievajú plody na stromoch, polia sa zafarbujú do zlatista a kvitnú vo všetkých možných farbách. sú plné života, a to nielen kvôli rastlinám, ale aj kvôli rozmanitému hmyzu a spevu vtákov. Leto je obdobím, kedy príroda vyzerá, cíti sa a znie inak. Leto nám ponúka príležitosť ochutnať čerstvé bobule, sladké melóny, šťavnaté broskyne a mnoho ďalších lahôdok, ktoré nám príroda dáva. Ovocie a zelenina dozrievajú na slnku, získavajú plnú chuť a vôňu, a ponúkajú nám zážitok pre zmysly. 

Leto je tiež obdobím aktívnych dovoleniek a zážitkov. Ľudia vyhľadávajú príležitosti na cestovanie, kempovanie, výlety a objavovanie nových miest. Prírodné scenérie, a sa stávajú miestom dobrodružstva a poznávania. Avšak, letné obdobie prináša aj výzvy, najmä v oblasti ochrany pred slnkom a udržiavania hydratácie. Dych zimy v Považskom Inovci

Keď sa Piešťanca opýtate, ktoré považuje za svoje, najčastejšie vám odpovie, že Považský Inovec. Malé Karpaty síce tiež majú svoj pôvab, ale predsa sú len ďalej. V prípade Považského Inovca však stačí prejsť Krajinský most a už môžete stúpať priamo do hôr. A nie sú to hocijaké hory – sú prešpikované históriou. Nájdete v nich skoro všetky kultúrne vrstvy – od pravekých lovcov až po starých Slovanov. Nachádza sa tu veľká koncentrácia románskych rotúnd, snáď najväčšia na území Slovenska, a zvyšky stredovekých hradov. A to sme ešte nehovorili o krásnych prírodných scenériách a krasových jaskyniach ako je Čertova pec.

býva príťažlivý a zaujímavý nielen v plnom kvete, ale v každom ročnom období, zimu nevynímajúc. V čase, keď padnú na krajinu a mrazy, a šoféri začínajú šomrať na rizikové počasie, vzniká v horách čosi rozprávkové – každý strom, konár, steblo, suchý list či ihlička sa obaľuje do bielych kryštálikov. Je to dych zimy, ktorý spravidla netrvá dlho. Preto musíte to prírody sledovať veľmi intenzívne, aby vám neunikol žiadny detail. Najkrajší pohľad na jemný srieň sa naskytne vtedy, keď zasvieti . Často sa však stáva, že slnko svieti príliš intenzívne a vtedy biele kryštáliky začínajú opadávať a strácať – zrazu je po predstavení. Ešte šťastie, že máte pri sebe fotoaparát, s ktorým aspoň zlomok toho, čo ste videli, zachytili. Doma na displeji počítača zistíte, že to všetko nebol iba prelud, ale skutočnosť. A potom sa možno zamyslíte nad hravosťou a premenlivosťou prírody.

Je veľká vymoženosť pre každé mesto, keď má svoju rieku či svoje hory. Piešťany majú oboje. a Považský Inovec. A ešte aj čosi navyše – termálne liečivé pramene.

When you ask someone from which mountains they consider their own, most often they will tell you Považský Inovec. While the Small Carpathians also have their charm, they are a bit farther away. In the case of Považský Inovec, however, you just need to cross the Krajinský bridge, and you can start ascending right into the mountains. And these are not just any mountains—they are infused with history. You can find almost all cultural layers here, from prehistoric hunters to the ancient Slavs. There is a large concentration of Romanesque rotundas, perhaps the largest in Slovakia, and the remnants of medieval castles. And that’s not to mention the beautiful natural scenery and karst caves like Čertova pec.

Považský Inovec is attractive and interesting not only in full bloom but in every season, including winter. At the time when mists and frosts fall on the landscape, and drivers begin to complain about risky weather, something magical happens in the mountains—every tree, branch, stem, dry leaf, or needle is covered in white crystals. It’s the breath of winter, which usually doesn’t last long. Therefore, you have to intensely watch this nature play to not miss any detail. The most beautiful view of the delicate frost occurs when the sun shines. However, it often happens that the sun shines too intensely, and then the white crystals begin to fall and disappear, suddenly ending the performance. Luckily, you have a camera with you to capture at least a fraction of what you saw. At home on the computer screen, you realize that it was not just a prelude but a reality. And then, you might reflect on the playfulness and variability of nature.

It is a great advantage for any town to have its river or mountains. Piešťany has both. The Váh River and Považský Inovec. And even a little extra—thermal healing springs.
