Hobby ZOO Tillmann – skvelá akvaristika v Duisburgu

Túto akvaristiku mali zabezpečenú 17 hodinu. Vtedy sme už boli trochu unavení a už sme od toho akvaristického videli dosť. Keď sme zbadali z autobusu akvaristiku, tak sme mysleli, že za 30 minút ju obzrieme. Veľmi sme sa mýlili. Najprv v tom, že krátko po vstupe sme zistili, že to je tak trochu labyrint. Chodbičky, miestnosti sa točili, sa nachádzalo kvantum rýb a krásnych rýb. Dokonca tam boli niektoré, aspoň pre mňa vzácne . Napr. tanganické , viacero druhov divokých živorodiek. Ten, kto sa stará o tieto má určite v obľube najmä . Bolo ich tam kvantum, možno 200 druhov odhadom. , na ktorých boli ryby za vstupnou miestnosťou boli účelne murované, pravdepodobne vlastná práca. Myslím si, že sme sa tam cítili všetci veľmi dobre, určite tomu pomohla aj domácich, ktorí nám usilovne a s úsmevom na tvári čapovali do dvojdecilitrových nádob , kolu apod. Vonku mal majiteľ vo dvore plné koiákov a iných studenomilnejších rýb. Okrem toho som tam videl nejaké vtáky a . Z som mal pocit, že funguje aspoň čiastočne aj ako chovňa, pretože sa v nádržiach nachádzalo veľa mladých rýb, pričom aj dospelé ryby rovnakého druhu boli v iných nádržiach. Len úplne mladé ryby a a nádrže na som nevidel. Predpokladám, že ďalej vo dvore, alebo niekde nablízku boli aj tie. Principiálne takto nejako si aj ja predstavujem, že by som aj ja chcel mať predajňu. Chovňa a predajňa zároveň na jednom mieste je myšlienka, o ktorej som aj ja uvažoval. Po opustení predajne sme nasadli do autobusu a šli naspäť . Na tento duisburgsko-cyperusácky výlet budem určite dobre spomínať.

We had the aquarium visit scheduled for 5:00 PM. By then, we were already a bit tired, having seen enough of the aquarium since morning. When we spotted the aquarium from the bus, we thought we would explore in 30 minutes. We were very wrong. of all, shortly after entering, we realized it was a bit of a labyrinth. Hallways, rooms twisted around, inside there was a plethora of fish and beautiful fish. There were even some things that were rare for me. For example, Tanganyikan cichlids, several species of wild livebearers. Whoever takes care of these fish surely has a preference, especially for American cichlids. There were plenty of them, maybe around 200 species estimated. The stands with fish near the entrance were purposefully built, probably homemade. I think we all felt very comfortable there, and the hospitality of the hosts definitely helped, as they diligently served us beer, cola, and other drinks in two-deciliter containers with a smile on their faces. Outside, the owner had tanks full of and other cold-water fish in the yard. Besides that, I saw some birds and rodents there. From the shop, I had the feeling that it also functions partially as a breeding ground because there were many young fish in the tanks, and adult fish of the same species were in other tanks. I didn’t see completely young fish and fry tanks. I assume they were further in the yard or somewhere nearby. Essentially, this is how I having a shop. Having a breeding ground and a shop in one place is an idea that I have also considered. After leaving the shop, we boarded the bus and headed back home. I will definitely remember this trip to –.

Wir hatten den Aquariumsbesuch für 17:00 Uhr geplant. Bis dahin waren wir bereits ein wenig müde, da wir seit dem Morgen genug von dem Aquarium gesehen hatten. Als wir das Aquarium vom Bus aus entdeckten, dachten wir, wir würden es in 30 Minuten erkunden. Wir lagen sehr falsch. Zunächst einmal merkten wir kurz nach dem Eintritt, dass es ein wenig wie ein Labyrinth war. Flure, Räume drehten sich, drinnen gab es eine Fülle von Fischen und wunderschönen Exemplaren. Es gab sogar einige Dinge, die für mich selten waren. Zum Beispiel Tanganjika-Buntbarsche, mehrere Arten von Wilden Lebendgebärenden. Wer sich um diese Fische kümmert, hat sicherlich eine Vorliebe, besonders für amerikanische Buntbarsche. Davon gab es reichlich, schätzungsweise etwa 200 Arten. Die Stände mit Fischen in der Nähe des Eingangs waren zweckmäßig gebaut, wahrscheinlich selbstgemacht. Ich denke, wir haben uns dort alle sehr wohl gefühlt, und die Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber hat sicherlich dazu beigetragen, da sie uns fleißig Bier, Cola und andere Getränke in zwei-Deziliter-Behältern mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht servierten. Draußen hatte der Besitzer Tanks voller Kois und anderer Kaltwasserfische im . Außerdem habe ich dort einige Vögel und Nagetiere gesehen. Aus dem Geschäft heraus hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es auch teilweise als Zuchtanlage funktioniert, denn es gab viele junge Fische in den Tanks, und erwachsene Fische derselben Art befanden sich in anderen Tanks. Ich habe keine komplett jungen Fische und Aufzuchtbecken gesehen. Ich nehme an, sie waren weiter hinten im Hof oder irgendwo in der Nähe. Grundsätzlich stelle ich mir so vor, einen Laden zu haben. Eine Zuchtanlage und ein Geschäft an einem Ort zu haben, ist eine Idee, die ich auch in Betracht gezogen habe. Nachdem wir das Geschäft verlassen hatten, stiegen wir in den Bus und fuhren zurück nach Hause. Ich werde mich auf jeden Fall an diese Reise nach Duisburg-Zypern erinnern.

prvý októbrový víkend v roku 2008, si my, partia z Bratislavy, z Brna a Žďáru nad Sázavou naplánovali akvaristickú lahôdku – návštevu nemeckého Duisburgu, konkrétne troch miest – pomerne známeho Zajac, veľtrhu Zierfische und Aquarium, kde sa konal 7. ročník Diskus Championat a jednej peknej Hobby ZOO Tillmann. Akciu zorganizoval brnenský klub a chvalabohu za to. Mali sme zabezpečenú cestu „vlastným“ autobusom z Brna, , program. Partia z Bratislavy činila 8 osôb – dve . Skoro ráno 3. októbra sme sa presunuli do Brna, kde nás očakávala „spojka“ – Franta Csefay, ktorý nás usadil, a vďaka nemu a aj jeho osobnej prítomnosti sme sa bezproblémovo presunuli ku autobusu. Náš bol jasný – . Čakalo nás viac ako 1000 km . Cesta trvala 12 hodín, ale asi si viete predstaviť, že o zábavu bolo postarané. Tam sme cestovali cez deň, v Žďári sme ešte naložili našich kamarátov zo Žďáru. Podľa môjho odhadu sme takmer naplnili celý autobus, asi 3-4 miesta zostali voľné. Asi 42 akvaristov bolo ochotných merať cestu do Duisburgu. Večer sme zdarne docestovali. Po ubytovaní sme sa viacerí vybrali do mesta. Veď predsa vyvstala otázka: Čo s načatým večerom? Naše prekvapenie bolo veľmi veľké – v Duisburgu vládol . Nechápali sme, prečo bol večerný Duisburg ľudoprázdny. Na širokých bulvároch bol len kde tu niekto. V reštauráciách sme mnohí sedeli sami aj viac ako hodinu. Z hotela sme sa vybrali snáď okolo 21-ej . Ráno nás po raňajkách čakal bohatý program. Začali sme návštevou .

ZOO Zajac by som opísal ako také menšie chovateľské . Slovom menšie myslím napr. jedno poschodie bratislavského Supermarketu TESCO v centre mesta. Na pomerne veľkej ploche sa nachádzali len „„. Už ruch na parkovisku pred ZOO Zajac bol veľký. Pripomínam, že bol pracovný deň po 10 hodine ráno. bolo veľa ľudí, a poobede, keď sme sa sem ešte raz vrátili, doslova . Pred samotným vstupom bolo zopár stánkov a obchodov s občerstvením, snáď nejaké . Vnútri ma prekvapilo napr. to, že ten istý druh tovaru bol na viacerých miestach, aj asi s rôznou cenou. Vodné boli na troch, možno štyroch miestach. Mal som opticky dojem, že sú aj v rovnakých nádržiach, rovnako pekné a druhovo veľmi podobnej skladby. Páčilo sa mi to, myslím si, že pán Zajac vie čo robí. Zákazník má zrejme možnosť si vybrať, či sa bude orientovať na cenu, alebo na overenú značku, pričom je to urobené slušne – tovar sa navzájom „nevidí“. V ZOO Zajac som videl veľa produktov, ktoré u nás nie sú také dostupné, ale keďže som skôr chcel zaznamenať fotoaparátom, tak som sa nakupovaniu veľmi nevenoval. Až tesne pred odchodom som kúpil štyri pekné tenké , ktoré som už asi 3 roky zháňal. Budú skrášľovať rastlinné akvárium. Zo ZOO Zajac sme sa presunuli na akvaristický veľtrh Zierfische und Aquarium.

On the weekend of October 2008, our group from , , and planned an aquarium delight – a visit to the German of Duisburg, specifically three places – the relatively well-known Zajac Zoo, the fair, where the 7th edition of the took place, and one beautiful aquarium store, ZOO Tillmann. The event was organized by the Brno club Cyperus, and thank goodness for that. We had arranged transportation with our „own“ bus from Brno, accommodation, and a program. The Bratislava group consisted of 8 people with two cars. Early in the morning on October 3rd, we headed to Brno, where the „connector“ – Franta Csefay was waiting for us. He settled us, and thanks to him and his presence, we easily moved to the bus. Our direction was clear – Duisburg. More than 1000 km of travel awaited us. The journey took 12 hours, but you can that entertainment was taken care of. We traveled during the day, and in Žďár, we picked up our friends from Žďár. According to my estimate, we almost filled the entire bus; about 3-4 seats remained vacant. About 42 aquarists were willing to make the trip to Duisburg. We successfully arrived in the evening. After accommodation, many of us went to the city. Because the question arose: What to do with the started evening? Our surprise was significant – Duisburg was calm. We couldn’t understand why Duisburg in the evening was deserted. There were few people on the wide boulevards. In restaurants, many of us sat alone for more than an hour. We left the hotel around 9 PM. In the morning, after breakfast, a rich program awaited us. We started with a visit to Zajac Zoo.

Zajac Zoo could be described as a smaller breeding TESCO. By „smaller,“ I mean, for example, one floor of the TESCO supermarket in the center of Bratislava. Only „breeding supplies“ were located on a relatively large area. The noise in the parking lot in front of Zajac Zoo was significant. I remind you that was a working day after 10 AM. Inside, many people were present, and in the afternoon, when we returned here once again, literally crowds. In front of the entrance, there were a few stalls and refreshment shops, perhaps some souvenirs. Inside, I was surprised, for example, that the same type of goods was in several places, possibly at different prices. Water plants were in three, maybe four places. I had the optical impression that they were also in the same tanks, equally beautiful and species-wise very similar. I liked it; I think Mr. Zajac knows what he is doing. The customer probably has the opportunity to choose whether to focus on price or a trusted brand, and it’s done decently – the goods do not „see“ each other. In Zajac Zoo, I saw many products that are not so accessible to us, but since I wanted to capture things with a camera, I didn’t pay much attention to shopping. Just before leaving, I bought four beautiful thin roots that I had been looking for for about 3 years. They will beautify the planted aquarium. From Zajac Zoo, we moved on to the Zierfische und Aquarium fair.

Am ersten Oktoberwochenende 2008 hatten wir, eine Gruppe aus Bratislava, Brünn und Žďár nad Sázavou, ein Aquarium-Highlight geplant – einen Besuch in der deutschen Stadt Duisburg, genauer gesagt an drei Orten – dem relativ bekannten Zajac Zoo, der Messe Zierfische und Aquarium, wo die 7. Ausgabe des Diskus Championats stattfand, und einem schönen Aquariumgeschäft, . Die Veranstaltung wurde vom Brünner Club Cyperus organisiert, Gott sei Dank dafür. Wir hatten eine Fahrt mit unserem „eigenen“ Bus aus Brünn, Unterkunft und ein Programm arrangiert. Die Gruppe aus Bratislava bestand aus 8 Personen mit zwei Autos. Früh am Morgen des 3. Oktober machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Brünn, wo der „Verbinder“ – Franta Csefay auf uns wartete. Er brachte uns unter, und dank ihm und seiner Anwesenheit bewegten wir uns problemlos zum Bus. Unsere Richtung war klar – Duisburg. Über 1000 km Reise erwarteten uns. Die Reise dauerte 12 Stunden, aber Sie können sich vorstellen, dass für Unterhaltung gesorgt war. Wir reisten tagsüber, und in Žďár holten wir unsere Freunde aus Žďár ab. Nach meiner Schätzung haben wir fast den gesamten Bus gefüllt; etwa 3-4 Plätze blieben leer. Etwa 42 Aquarianer waren bereit, die Reise nach Duisburg anzutreten. Wir kamen erfolgreich am Abend an. Nach der Unterbringung gingen viele von uns in die Stadt. Denn die Frage stellte sich: Was tun mit dem begonnenen Abend? Unsere Überraschung war erheblich – Duisburg war ruhig. Wir konnten nicht verstehen, warum Duisburg abends menschenleer war. Auf den breiten Boulevards waren nur wenige Menschen. In Restaurants saßen viele von uns alleine für mehr als eine Stunde. Wir verließen das Hotel gegen 21 Uhr. Am Morgen erwartete uns nach dem Frühstück ein reichhaltiges Programm. Wir begannen mit einem Besuch im Zajac Zoo.

Den Zajac Zoo könnte man als ein kleineres züchterisches TESCO beschreiben. Mit „kleiner“ meine ich zum Beispiel einen Stock des TESCO-Supermarkts im Zentrum von Bratislava. Auf einer relativ großen Fläche befanden sich nur „Zuchtvorräte“. Der Lärm auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Zajac Zoo war er

heblich. Ich erinnere daran, dass es an einem Werktag nach 10 Uhr morgens war. Drinnen waren viele Leute, und am Nachmittag, als wir hier noch einmal zurückkehrten, regelrechte Menschenmengen. Vor dem Eingang gab es einige Stände und Verkaufsläden mit Erfrischungen, vielleicht auch Souvenirs. Drinnen hat mich zum Beispiel überrascht, dass derselbe Warentyp an mehreren Stellen war, vielleicht zu unterschiedlichen Preisen. Wasserpflanzen waren an drei, vielleicht vier Stellen. Ich hatte den optischen Eindruck, dass sie auch in denselben Tanks waren, gleich schön und artenmäßig sehr ähnlich. Mir hat es gefallen; Ich denke, Herr Zajac weiß, was er tut. Der Kunde hat wahrscheinlich die Möglichkeit zu wählen, ob er sich auf den Preis oder eine vertrauenswürdige Marke konzentrieren möchte, und es ist anständig gemacht – die Waren sehen sich nicht gegenseitig. Im Zajac Zoo habe ich viele Produkte gesehen, die für uns nicht so zugänglich sind, aber da ich Dinge mit einer Kamera festhalten wollte, habe ich dem Einkaufen nicht viel Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Kurz vor dem Verlassen kaufte ich vier schöne dünne Wurzeln, die ich seit etwa 3 Jahren gesucht hatte. Sie werden das bepflanzte Aquarium verschönern. Von Zajac Zoo aus ging es weiter zur Messe Zierfische und Aquarium.

Storočnica CYPERUS-u

Brnenský akvaristický klub CYPERUS slávil sto rokov. Toto jubileum si zaslúži uznanie a Cyperusáci sa oslavu dobre pripravili. Na víkend 17.3-18.3.2007 ponúkli nám a určite aj sebe hodnotný program. Ale poďme pekne po poriadku. Keďže si aj my, v klube.akva.sk, boli vedomí pripravovanej , chystali sme sa do Brna už v roku 2006. S blížiacim sa dátumom konania sme vyzvali členov klubu, aby sa pridali ku nám rozhodnutým.. Vybavili sme si , šoférov, a svojpomocne sme sa vybrali ráno 17.2 do Brna. Okrem toho do Brna prišli aj iní z Bratislavy. CYPERUS situoval akciu do Interhotela , ktorý sa nachádza v centre Brna. Po vstupe do hotela sme ľahko našli priestory, ktoré nás zaujímali. Usporiadatelia sa pochlapili a pri našej „akreditácii“ bolo rušno a informačne. Ešte pred vstupom do prednáškovej sály sa nachádzal panel, kde sme čiastočne mohli načrieť do histórie CYPERUS-u. Videli sme aj rýb od Jirka Plíštila a tam mala aj firma, EXOT a časopis Akvafórum, Terafórum. Za dverami na nás už čakal prednášková sála.

v sobotu

V sobotu prednášal ako prvý Rainer Stawikovski, šéfredaktor časopisu DATZ, na tému „„. Priniesla niekoľko zaujímavých informácií, ktoré vzbudili aj poslucháčov. Predsa o niečo viac ma zaujala prednáška Uwe Wernera „, , „. Okrem iného zažívajú u nás boom, tak sa mi to zdalo vhodné spestrenie.

Slávnostné zahájenie

Na 13:00 naplánovali oficiálne zahájenie. Potešilo ma, že o akciu prejavili záujem aj a štátu. Každý z nich sa nám prihovoril a obzvlášť hodnotný bol pre mňa príhovor hejtmana jihomoravského kraja, Ing. Stanislava Juránka. Vystúpil ako prvý. Čakal som oficiálne zdvorilostné slová, ale dočkal som príjemného a dokonca vtipného prejavu. Každý zaželal klubu do ďalších rokov.

Po oficialitách sa ujala slova Christel Kasselmann so svojou prednáškou „Zariaďovanie rastlinného – cesta k úspechu“. Z Kasselmannovej som vnímal radosť, napokon sa úvodom poďakovala za pozvanie na oslavu . Ďalším prednášajúcim bol Norbert Dokoupil s témou „Sfarbenie rýb, „. Prednáška to bola hodnotná, súhlasím s usporiadateľmi, že jej úroveň bola univerzitná, len dlhé pauzy spôsobené dlhým čítaním a samozrejme dlhým prekladom, úspešne narúšali pozornosť poslucháčov.

Večerný program

Po Dokoupilovej prednáške nasledoval voľnejší program – . Cien bolo neúrekom a neustále pribúdali. Mne sa ušlo tiež – tri a kniha od Ad Koningsa o cichlidách. Mimochodom tombola mi priniesla presne to, čo som chcel – krmivo a knihu. Po tombole a teda aj po veľkej dávke sme sa odobrali na večeru. Večera, ako aj oba , prebehli v priestoroch hotela. Hrala sľúbená cimbálovka. Táto najspoločenskejšia udalosť mohla byť najkrajšou časťou osláv, ale bohužiaľ sa tak nestalo. Po pravde musím povedať, že moje o tom, či spať v Brne zo soboty na nedeľu stálo práve na onom spoločenskom večeri. Ten sa ale nevydaril. Priestory a hlavne ceny štvorhviezdičkového interhotela boli príliš chladné. Škoda!

Možno to neviete, ale akvaristi v Bratislave, ale aj inde na Slovensku sa stretávame (organizovane) už nejaký ten piatok. Technologicky najmä vďaka www.akva.sk. Nuž a naši brnenskí kamaráti sa snažili zorganizovať pri príležitosti osláv aj takpovediac moravské stretnutie akvaristov v Brne. Dohadovanie prebiehalo na www.akvarista.cz. Zaslúžil sa oň najmä Mišo . Zrejme ale vtedy ešte netušil, že to bude „moravské stretnutie“ s hosťami zo Slovenska. Po tom, čo sa v nás hromadilo sklamanie, tak sa v nás kopila chuť utužiť vzťahy. Dlho sme neváhali a vybrali sme sa na miesto konania v Brne. Posedeli sme a dobre sme sa zabavili. Po polnoci boli domáci už na ceste domov, ale my sme ešte chvíľu zostali. Nebývali sme ďaleko, neskoro v noci sme sa ubytovali a už sme sa tešili na ráno a na ďalší program. Je samozrejmé, že sme boli radi po oba , že sme postretali množstvo známych, mnohých sme si vytvorili. Videli sme tam akvaristov z Plzne, Prahy, Brna, Bratislavy, z Košíc. lákalo.

Nedeľné prednášky

Nedeľa začala obligátne, raňajkami v interhoteli, ale už po deviatej sme počúvali Waltera Deproosta. Rozprával o jazere Malawi – „Desäťkrát na jazere Malawi – môj osud“. Prekladateľom bol František Csefay, ktorého zábavný preklad určite mnohých dvíhal zo stoličiek. Po Deproostovi nasledovala prednáška Gilberta Maebeho – „Dúhovky“. Táto prednáška bola pre mňa najzaujímavejšia. O dúhovkách som sa dozvedel veľa a mal som silný dojem, že Gilbert Maebe sa téme aj prednáške venoval. V poslednej prednáške sa nám opäť  predstavila Christel Kasselmanová. Predstavila „Nové a vzácne „. Ukázala aj niektoré druhy, ktoré nie sú síce vzácne, ale vyskytujú sa zriedkavo. Dovolím si tvrdiť, že technická kvalita prezentovaných fotografií rastlín bola perfektná. Po prednáške sama prednášajúca rozdala prinesené rastlinky, čo bolo veľmi milé. Po skončená prednášok CYPERUS zabezpečil návštevu Sklorexu. je známa brnenská . Poniektorí už toho mali dosť a ich kroky smerovali domov, ale my sme sa vybrali do Sklorexu. Majiteľ firmy, pán Šmerda, je členom klubu CYPERUS-u a aj túto akciu akiste slušne podporil. Ja osobne som sa do Sklorexu veľmi tešil. Dôvod bol prostý – dobré a moja dovtedajšia absencia v tomto obchode. Návšteva ma nesklamala. Páčil sa mi predovšetkým prístup k zákazníkovi. Po návšteve sme sa už vydali domov s dobrým pocitom vydarenej . Že sme sa akvaristiky neprejedli svedčí fakt, že v Bratislave sme si ešte spravili exkurziu rýb jedného z účastníkov „klubového zájazdu“ – konkrétne u Braňa Barčina.

Záver

Nedostatkom prednášok bola absencia . Mnohé by sa totiž v diskusii vysvetlili, aj v súvislosti s nie práve najlepším prekladom. Chýbali mi , trebárs členov CYPERUS-u. Diskusia nebola z časových dôvodov, prednášky boli teda pridlhé, resp., bolo ich priveľa :-(. Prednášky sa opierali zväčša o fotografie, ktorých kvalitnejšie spracovanie bolo zrejmé. Usporiadatelia mysleli na spoločenskú stránku osláv. Na sobotu pripravili cimbálovku. Oslava storočnice sa konala v príjemnom priateľskom a pritom dôstojnom duchu. Ja osobne by som si svoju absenciu na takomto podujatí neodpustil. Som veľmi rád, že som prispel svojou účasťou na tomto vydarenom podujatí. Želám CYPERUS-u do ďalších rokov veľa úspechov a tvorivých nápadov.

Centenary Celebration of CYPERUS in Brno

The Brno Aquarium Club CYPERUS celebrated its hundredth anniversary, and the event was well-prepared by CYPERUS members. On the weekend of 17-18, 2007, they offered a valuable program for attendees. The planning for our visit to Brno started in 2006 since we, members of klub., were aware of the significance of the upcoming celebration. As the event date approached, we invited club members to join us. We arranged accommodation, drivers, cars, and set off to Brno in the morning on February 17, 2007. Additionally, other aquarists from came to Brno.

CYPERUS organized the event at the Interhotel Best Western Premier Hotel, located in the center of Brno. Upon entering the hotel, we easily found the areas of interest. The organizers were efficient, and during our „accreditation,“ there was a lot of activity and information. Before entering the lecture hall, there was a panel where we could delve into the history of CYPERUS, featuring photographs of fish by Jirka Plíštil, as well as the presence of EXOT Hobby and the magazines Akvafórum and Terafórum.

Saturday Lectures

The first lecture on Saturday was given by Rainer Stawikovski, the editor-in-chief of the DATZ magazine, on the topic „Observation of South American Cichlids in Nature and in the Aquarium.“ It provided several interesting insights that caught the attention of the audience. Uwe Werner followed with a lecture on „Crabs, Crayfish, Shrimp in Freshwater Aquariums.“ Considering the growing popularity of crustaceans, this topic added a nice touch.

The official opening was scheduled for 1:00 PM. It pleased me that representatives of the and the state showed interest in the event. Each of them addressed us, and the speech by the governor of the South Moravian Region, Ing. Stanislav Juránek, was particularly valuable. After the official part, Christel Kasselmann presented „Aquascaping – The Path to Success,“ which was well-received.

Evening Program

After Kasselmann’s lecture, there was a more relaxed program – a tombola (raffle). The prizes were abundant and kept increasing. I also won – three types of fish food and a book by Ad Konings on cichlids. After the tombola and a generous dose of fun, we went for dinner. Both the dinner and the two lunches took place in the hotel. The promised cimbalom music played, but unfortunately, the social evening did not turn out as expected. The spaces, especially the prices of the four-star Interhotel, were too cold. What a shame!

Perhaps you don’t know, but aquarists in Bratislava, and elsewhere in , have been meeting (organized) for quite some time, primarily thanks to . Our Brno friends tried to organize a Moravian meeting of aquarists in Brno on the occasion of the celebrations, which was discussed on www.. Little did they know that it would turn into a „Moravian meeting“ with guests from Slovakia. After some disappointment, a decision was made to strengthen the relationships. We quickly decided to attend the event in Brno. We had already arranged everything: accommodation, drivers, and cars. We set off to Brno in the morning on February 17, 2007. The event was about to become a „Moravian meeting“ with Slovak guests. After accumulating disappointment, the desire to strengthen relationships grew. After a short discussion, we went to the designated meeting place in Brno. We sat down and had a good time. The hosts were already on their way home after midnight, but we stayed a little longer. We weren’t far away; we stayed overnight and looked forward to the next day and the upcoming program. Unsurprisingly, we were glad to have attended both days and met many familiar faces.

Sunday Lectures

Sunday started with breakfast at the Interhotel, and by nine o’clock, Walter Deproost was giving a lecture on Lake Malawi – „Ten Times on Lake Malawi – My Destiny.“ After Deproost, Gilbert Maebe presented „Rainbows,“ which was the most interesting lecture for me. I learned a lot about rainbowfish, and I had a strong impression that Gilbert Maebe devoted himself to the topic. In the last lecture, Christel Kasselmann returned with „New and Rare Aquatic Plants.“ She showcased some species that are not necessarily rare but occur infrequently. The technical quality of the presented plant photographs was outstanding. After the lecture, Christel Kasselmann distributed the brought plants, which was very nice. After the lectures, CYPERUS organized a visit to Sklorex. Sklorex is a well-known Brno aquaristics shop, and its owner, Mr. Šmerda, is a member of the CYPERUS club. The visit did not disappoint me. I especially liked the approach to the customer. After the visit to the aquarium shop, we set off for home with a good feeling about the successful event. We didn’t get tired of aquaristics; in Bratislava, we even made a visit to the fish of one of the participants in the „club trip“ – specifically at Braňo Barčin.

Conclusion

The lack of discussion was a shortcoming of the lectures. Many things could have been clarified through discussion, especially considering the less than perfect translation. I missed lectures from Czech representatives, perhaps members of CYPERUS. Due to time constraints, there was no room for discussion, and the lectures were too long, or rather, there were too many :-(. The lectures relied mostly on photographs, and it was evident that their higher quality processing was apparent. The organizers thought about the social side of the celebrations. On Saturday, they prepared cimbalom music. The centenary celebration took place in a pleasant, friendly, and dignified spirit. I personally would not have forgiven myself for missing such an event. I am very glad that I contributed to this successful event with my participation. I wish CYPERUS many successes and creative ideas in the years to come.

Stoleté výročí CYPERUS Clubu

Stoleté výročí Brněnského akvaristického klubu CYPERUS bylo oslavováno se ctí. Členové Cyperusu se na oslavu dobře připravili a nabídli nám a určitě i sobě hodnotný program na víkend 17.3-18.3.2007. Ale pojďme pěkně po pořádku. Jelikož jsme si i my ve klubu akva.sk byli vědomi hodnoty připravované oslavy, rozhodli jsme se již v roce 2006 vyrazit do Brna. S blížícím se datem konání jsme vyzvali členy klubu, aby se k nám přidali rozhodnutí. Zařídili jsme si ubytování, řidiče, auta a svépomocně jsme se vypravili ráno 17.2 do Brna. Kromě toho do Brna přijeli i další akvaristé z Bratislavy. CYPERUS umístil akci do Interhotelu Best Western Premier Hotel, který se nachází v centru Brna. Po vstupu do hotelu jsme snadno našli prostory, které nás zajímaly. Organizátoři se pochlubili a při naší „akreditaci“ bylo rušno a informačně. Ještě před vstupem do přednáškové síně byl panel, kde jsme částečně mohli nahlédnout do historie CYPERUS. Viděli jsme i fotografie ryb od Jirky Plíštila a prostor tam měla i firma EXOT Hobby a časopis Akvafórum, Terafórum. Za dveřmi na nás už čekala přednášková síň.

Přednášky v sobotu

V sobotu jako první přednášel Rainer Stawikovski, šéfredaktor časopisu DATZ, na téma „Pozorování jihoamerických cichlid v přírodě a v akváriu“. Přinesla několik zajímavých informací, které vzbudily pozornost posluchačů. Nicméně mě více zaujala přednáška Uwe Wernera „Krabové, rakové, krevety ve sladkovodním akváriu“. Krevetky momentálně u nás prožívají boom, takže se mi to zdálo jako vhodné oživení.

Slavnostní zahájení

V 13:00 měli organizátoři naplánováno oficiální zahájení. Potěšilo mě, že o akci projevili zájem i představitelé města a státu. Každý z nich nám přednesl projev, a zvláště cenný byl pro mě projev hejtmana Jihomoravského kraje, Ing. Stanislava Juránka. Vystoupil jako první. Očekával jsem oficiální zdvořilostní slova, ale dočkal jsem se příjemného a dokonce vtipného projevu. Každý popřál klubu elán do dalších let.

Po oficiální části se ujal slova Christel Kasselmann se svou přednáškou „Zařizování rostlinného akvária – cesta k úspěchu“. Z Kasselmannové jsem vnímal radost, nakonec se úvodem poděkovala za pozvání na oslavu storočnice. Dalším přednášejícím byl Norbert Dokoupil s tématem „Barvení ryb, známé a neznámé fakty“. Přednáška byla hodnotná, souhlasím s pořadateli, že její úroveň byla univerzitní, jen dlouhé pauzy způsobené dlouhým čtením a samozřejmě dlouhým překladem úspěšně narušovaly pozornost posluchačů.

Večerní program

Po přednášce Dokoupila následoval volnější program – losování tomboly. Ceny byly hojné a neustále přibývaly. Mě také připadla trochu smůla – přišly mi tři dávky krmiva a kniha od Ad Koningsa o cichlidech. Mimochodem, tombola mi přinesla přesně to, co jsem si přál – krmivo a knihu. Po tombolaži a tedy i po velké dávce zábavy jsme se odebrali na večeři. Večeře, stejně jako obě obědy, proběhly v prostorách hotelu. Zahrávala sľíbená cimbálovka. Tato nejsociálnější událost mohla být nejkrásnější částí oslav, ale bohužel se tak nestalo. Musím říct pravdu, že mé rozhodnutí, zda zůstat v Brně ze soboty na neděli, záviselo právě na té společenské večeři. Ta se však nevydařila. Prostory a zejména ceny čtyřhvězdičkového interhotelu byly příliš chladné. Škoda!

Možná to nevíte, ale akvaristé v Bratislavě, ale i jinde na Slovensku, se pravidelně scházejí už nějaký ten pátek. Technologicky hlavně díky www.akva.sk. No a naši brněnští kamarádi se snažili zorganizovat při příležitosti oslav takzvané moravské setkání akvaristů v Brně. Domlouvání probíhalo na www.akvarista.cz. Zasloužil se o něj hlavně Mišo Toufar. Zřejmě ale Michal tehdy ještě netušil, že to bude „moravské setkání“ s hosty ze Slovenska. Po tom, co se v nás hromadilo zklamání, jsme cítili potřebu posílit vztahy. Dlouho jsme neváhali a vybrali jsme se na místo konání setkání akvaristů v Brně. Poseděli jsme si a dobře jsme se bavili. Po půlnoci už domácí odjížděli domů, ale my jsme ještě chvíli zůstali. Nebyli jsme daleko, pozdě v noci jsme se ubytovali a už jsme se těšili na ráno a další program. Je samozřejmé, že jsme byli rádi po oba dny, že jsme potkali mnoho známých, mnoho jsme si jich oblíbili. Viděli jsme tam akvaristy z Plzně, Prahy, Brna, Bratislavy, z Košic. Brno lákalo.

Nedělní přednášky

Neděle začala povinně, snídaní v hotelu, ale už v devět hodin jsme poslouchali Waltra Deproosta. Hovořil o jezeře Malawi – „Desetkrát na jezeře Malawi – můj osud“. Překladem se zabýval František Csefay, jehož zábavný překlad určitě mnohé rozesmál. Po Deproostovi následovala přednáška Gilberta Maebeho – „Dúhovky“. Tato přednáška byla pro mě nejzajímavější. O dúhovkách jsem se dozvěděl mnoho a měl jsem silný dojem, že Gilbert Maebe tématu věnoval pozornost jak v přípravě, tak i při samotné přednášce. Na závěr jsme měli opět příležitost vidět Christel Kasselmanovou. Představila „Nové a vzácné vodní rostliny“. Ukázala i některé druhy, které sice nejsou vzácné, ale vyskytují se zřídka. Dovolím si tvrdit, že technická kvalita prezentovaných fotografií rostlin byla perfektní. Po přednášce sama přednášející rozdala přinesené rostlinky, což bylo velmi milé. Po skončení přednášek CYPERUS zabezpečil návštěvu Sklorexu. Sklorex je známá brněnská akvaristika. Někteří už toho měli dost a jejich kroky směřovaly domů, ale my jsme se vydali do Sklorexu. Majitel firmy, pan Šmerda, je členem klubu CYPERUS a jistě tuto akci solidně podpořil. Já osobně jsem se do Sklorexu velmi těšil. Důvod byl prostý – dobré reference a má dosavadní absence v tomto obchodě. Návštěva mě nesklamala. Líbil se mi především přístup k zákazníkovi. Po návštěvě akvaristiky jsme se vydali domů s dobrým pocitem zdařené akce. Že jsme se akvaristikou nepřejedli, dokládá fakt, že v Bratislavě jsme si ještě udělali exkurzi ryb u jednoho z účastníků „klubového výletu“ – konkrétně u Braňa Barčina.

Závěr

Nedostatkem přednášek byla absence diskuze. Mnohé věci by se totiž v diskusi objasnily, a to i v souvislosti s ne zcela nejlepším překladem. Chyběly mi přednášky českých zástupců, třeba členů CYPERUS-u. Diskuse nebyla z časových důvodů, přednášky tedy byly příliš dlouhé, resp., jich bylo příliš :-(. Přednášky se opíraly převážně o fotografie, jejichž kvalitnější zpracování bylo zjevné. Pořadatelé mysleli na společenskou stránku oslav. Na sobotu připravili cimbálovku. Oslava storočnice se konala v příjemném přátelském a přitom důstojném duchu. Já osobně bych si svou absenci na takovémto podniku neodpustil. Jsem velmi rád, že jsem přispěl svou účastí na této vydařené události. Přeji CYPERUS-u do dalších let mnoho úspěchů a tvůrčích nápadů.

Je otázne kedy možno datovať . Každopádne dejiny hovoria o chovaní malých pekných rýb už zo starovekého Egypta. Minimálne tisícročnú má ázijskom kontinente v Číne, kde chov karasov má veľmi bohatú tradíciu. , v ktorých sa chovali a pestovali boli úplne iné ako ich poznáme dnes. Aj u nás si niektorí pamätajú gupky v päť litrových fľašiach od uhoriek. V 19. storočí akvárium bolo vlastne atrakciou, zariadili si ich , , vzdelaní na univerzitách, vo verejných záhradách. Medzi jedny z najstarších klubov tu v našom regióne napr. Cyperus, 1899. U nás je najstarší pravdepodobne klub v Banskej Bystrici. Dá sa povedať, že sa stala kolískou akvaristiky a trúfam si povedať, že je ňou dodnes. Už od spomínaného 19. storočia sa v nej začala vzmáhať. Je zaujímavé, že aj naša patrí medzi vyspelé štáty, ktoré poskytujú akvaristov, ktorí patria medzi špičku. , Poľsko, Česko a Slovensko sú aj historicky aj v súčasnosti špičkou na poli chovu rýb a rastlín.

The containers used for keeping fish and cultivating plants were completely different from what we know today. Some people may recall guppies kept in five-liter bottles from pickles here. In the 19th century, aquariums were essentially attractions, set up by biologists, doctors, and educated individuals at universities and public gardens. Among the oldest clubs in our region is, for example, , established in . The oldest club in is probably in . can be said that became the cradle of aquarium keeping and, I dare say, still holds that position today. Since the mentioned 19th century, aquarium keeping began to flourish in Europe. It is interesting to note that our is among the developed states that provide aquarium enthusiasts who are at the forefront. , , Czechia, and Slovakia have historically and continue to be at the forefront in the field of and plant cultivation.

Es ist fraglich, wann der Ursprung der Aquaristik datiert werden kann. Dennoch berichten die Geschichtsbücher von der Haltung kleiner, schöner Fische bereits im alten Ägypten. Die Praxis hat auf dem asiatischen Kontinent in China, wo die Zucht von eine lange Tradition hat, mindestens ein Jahrtausend alte Wurzeln. Die Behältnisse, in denen Fische gehalten und Pflanzen gezüchtet wurden, waren völlig anders als das, was wir heute kennen. Hierzulande erinnern sich einige vielleicht an Guppys, die in Fünf-Liter-Flaschen von eingelegten Gurken gehalten wurden. Im 19. Jahrhundert waren Aquarien im Grunde genommen Attraktionen, die von Biologen, Ärzten und gebildeten Personen an Universitäten und in öffentlichen Gärten eingerichtet wurden. Zu den ältesten Vereinen in unserer Region gehört zum Beispiel Cyperus, gegründet 1899. Der älteste Verein in der Slowakei befindet sich wahrscheinlich in Banská . Man kann sagen, dass Europa zur Wiege der Aquaristik wurde und ich traue mich zu sagen, dass es dies bis heute ist. Seit dem genannten 19. Jahrhundert begann die Aquaristik in Europa aufzublühen. Interessant ist, dass unser Land zu den entwickelten Staaten gehört, die Aquarianer an der Spitze haben. Deutschland, Polen, Tschechien und die Slowakei sind historisch und gegenwärtig führend auf dem Gebiet der Fischhaltung und Pflanzenzucht.
