V roku 2011 som bol účastníkom akvaristického zájazdu, v rámci ktorého sme navštívili okrem iného aj chovňu Jozefa Vrábla, resp. firmu Czechfish Trade v Třánoviciach. Páčilo sa nám :-).
In 2011, I participated in an aquarium enthusiast trip, during which we visited, among other places, the breeding facility of Jozef Vrábel, or the Czechfish Trade company in Třánovice. We liked it :-).

AkvaTera Trnava 20.9.2009
Akvaristicko – teraristická výstava/burza AkvaTera Trnava sa konala 20. septembra 2009 v priestoroch Obvodného úradu práce. Na 81 stoloch predávalo 35 predávajúcich zo Slovenska, Čiech a Rakúska. Celkový odhadovaný počet návštevníkov prevýšil magickú hranicu tisícky. V tomto čísle sú zarátaní aj neplatiaci návštevníci z radov detí, dôchodcov a zdravotne a telesne postihnutých. Verím, že sa nám podarí udržať kvalitu akcie minimálne na súčasnej úrovni a spravíme všetko preto aby tak návštevníci ako aj predávajúci odchádzali z AkvaTera Trnava rovnako spokojní ako tomu bolo doteraz. Termín konania ďalšej akcie bude na jar 2010. Konkrétny dátum spresníme čoskoro na stránke att.plazyunas.com.

The aquarium and terrarium exhibition/fair AkvaTera Trnava took place on September 20, 2009, at the premises of the District Labor Office. 35 sellers from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Austria sold their goods at 81 tables. The estimated total number of visitors exceeded the magical threshold of a thousand. This number includes non-paying visitors from the ranks of children, retirees, and the disabled. I believe that we will manage to maintain the quality of the event at least at the current level and we will do everything to ensure that both visitors and sellers leave AkvaTera Trnava as satisfied as they have been so far. Posledný májový deň v roku 2009 sa uskutočnila už štvrtá ATT výstava/burza v Trnave. Vďaka veľkému záujmu predávajúcich a návštevníkov sa konala vo väčších priestoroch ako tomu bolo prvé tri razy. Na naše potešenie boli aj nové priestory, štyri krát väčšie ako dovtedy, beznádejne vypredané predávajúcimi a naplnené dychtivými návštevníkmi. Predávajúci zo štyroch krajín vystavovali svoju ponuku na 78 stoloch. Potešila na slovenské pomery vysoká účasť predávajúcich z Českej republiky. Piati vystavovali na 18 stoloch zvieratá a tovar, ktorý pútal pozornosť davu návštevníkov. Tých prišlo behom 3 hodín na ATT cca 1000! Aj preto sme sa rozhodli predĺžiť čas nadchádzajúcej burzy na 4 hodiny od 8:00-12:00.
Prvé tri akcie sa konali v CVČ Kalokagatia v Trnave. Prvá akcia sa konala 16.9.2007, ďalšie 8.6.2008, 5.10.2008. Vzhľadom na vysokú účasť návštevníkov a nedostatočné kapacity pre uspokojenie predávajúcich sme už túto, v poradí štvrtú burzu zorganizovali vo väčších priestoroch v priestoroch Obvodného úradu prác (vedľa OC MAX) – Jána Bottu 4, Trnava GPS: 48°22’9.02″N / 17°34’38.62″E.

On the last day of May in 2009, the fourth ATT exhibition/fair took place in Trnava. Thanks to the great interest of sellers and visitors, it was held in larger premises than the first three times. To our delight, there were also new spaces, four times larger than before, hopelessly sold out by sellers and filled with eager visitors. Sellers from four countries displayed their offerings on 78 tables. The high participation of sellers from the Czech Republic was pleasing by Slovak standards. Five exhibitors presented animals and goods on 18 tables, attracting the attention of the crowd of visitors. About 1000 people came to ATT during the 3 hours! That’s why we decided to extend the duration of the upcoming fair to 4 hours from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The first three events took place at the CVČ Kalokagatia in Trnava. The first event was held on September 16, 2007, followed by June 8, 2008, and October 5, 2008. Due to the high attendance of visitors and insufficient capacity to satisfy sellers, we organized this, the fourth fair in larger premises at the District Labor Office (next to OC MAX) – Jána Bottu 4, Trnava GPS: 48°22’9.02″N / 17°34’38.62″E.
Je otázne kedy možno datovať vznik akvaristiky. Každopádne dejiny hovoria o chovaní malých pekných rýb už zo starovekého Egypta. Minimálne tisícročnú minulosť má chov na ázijskom kontinente v Číne, kde chov karasov má veľmi bohatú tradíciu. Predmety, v ktorých sa chovali ryby a pestovali rastliny boli úplne iné ako ich poznáme dnes. Aj u nás si niektorí pamätajú gupky v päť litrových fľašiach od uhoriek. V 19. storočí akvárium bolo vlastne atrakciou, zariadili si ich biológovia, lekári, vzdelaní ľudia na univerzitách, vo verejných záhradách. Medzi jedny z najstarších klubov patria tu v našom regióne napr. Cyperus, 1899. U nás je najstarší pravdepodobne klub v Banskej Bystrici. Dá sa povedať, že Európa sa stala kolískou akvaristiky a trúfam si povedať, že je ňou dodnes. Už od spomínaného 19. storočia sa v nej začala akvaristika vzmáhať. Je zaujímavé, že aj naša krajina patrí medzi vyspelé štáty, ktoré poskytujú akvaristov, ktorí patria medzi špičku. Nemecko, Poľsko, Česko a Slovensko sú aj historicky aj v súčasnosti špičkou na poli chovu rýb a pestovanie rastlín.
The origin of aquarium keeping is a question open to debate. Nevertheless, history tells us about the keeping of small, beautiful fish dating back to ancient Egypt. The practice has at least a millennium-old history on the Asian continent in China, where the cultivation of carp has a rich tradition. The containers used for keeping fish and cultivating plants were completely different from what we know today. Some people may recall guppies kept in five-liter bottles from pickles here. In the 19th century, aquariums were essentially attractions, set up by biologists, doctors, and educated individuals at universities and public gardens. Among the oldest clubs in our region is, for example, Cyperus, established in 1899. The oldest club in Slovakia is probably in Banská Bystrica. It can be said that Europe became the cradle of aquarium keeping and, I dare say, still holds that position today. Since the mentioned 19th century, aquarium keeping began to flourish in Europe. It is interesting to note that our country is among the developed states that provide aquarium enthusiasts who are at the forefront. Germany, Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia have historically and continue to be at the forefront in the field of fish keeping and plant cultivation.
Es ist fraglich, wann der Ursprung der Aquaristik datiert werden kann. Dennoch berichten die Geschichtsbücher von der Haltung kleiner, schöner Fische bereits im alten Ägypten. Die Praxis hat auf dem asiatischen Kontinent in China, wo die Zucht von Karpfen eine lange Tradition hat, mindestens ein Jahrtausend alte Wurzeln. Die Behältnisse, in denen Fische gehalten und Pflanzen gezüchtet wurden, waren völlig anders als das, was wir heute kennen. Hierzulande erinnern sich einige vielleicht an Guppys, die in Fünf-Liter-Flaschen von eingelegten Gurken gehalten wurden. Im 19. Jahrhundert waren Aquarien im Grunde genommen Attraktionen, die von Biologen, Ärzten und gebildeten Personen an Universitäten und in öffentlichen Gärten eingerichtet wurden. Zu den ältesten Vereinen in unserer Region gehört zum Beispiel Cyperus, gegründet 1899. Der älteste Verein in der Slowakei befindet sich wahrscheinlich in Banská Bystrica. Man kann sagen, dass Europa zur Wiege der Aquaristik wurde und ich traue mich zu sagen, dass es dies bis heute ist. Seit dem genannten 19. Jahrhundert begann die Aquaristik in Europa aufzublühen. Interessant ist, dass unser Land zu den entwickelten Staaten gehört, die Aquarianer an der Spitze haben. Deutschland, Polen, Tschechien und die Slowakei sind historisch und gegenwärtig führend auf dem Gebiet der Fischhaltung und Pflanzenzucht.

Morský svet, otvorený v roku 2002, ponúka návštevníkom pôsobivý zážitok s najväčšou nádržou s objemom 100 000 litrov. Prostredie je navrhnuté tak, aby čo najvernejšie napodobňovalo prirodzené podmienky obyvateľov, vrátane špeciálneho osvetlenia simulujúceho mesačný svit a napodobňovania slapových javov (morsky-svet.cz). Nachádza sa na pražskom Výstavisku a od roku 2007 funguje ako zoologická záhrada. V roku 2003 bola pridaná 25 metrov dlhá korálová jaskyňa a v roku 2008 nádrž s objemom 27 000 litrov, v ktorej prevláda juhoamerická ichtyofauna (morsky-svet.cz).
Expozícia „Rieka Západný Ghát“ ponúka pohľad na rieku od jej prameňa po údolie, pričom Západný Ghát je pohorie v južnej Indii, ktoré patrí medzi osem najbohatších oblastí sveta z hľadiska biodiverzity. Celkovo tu nájdete 360 druhov živočíchov v 60 tematicky unikátnych akváriách (kudyznudy.cz). Atmosféru dopĺňajú modely lodi Bounty, majáka a ďalších prvkov (mapy.cz). Interiér je ozdobený najväčšou ručnou nástennou maľbou v Európe, pričom pocit pobytu pod hladinou mora umocňujú svetelné efekty a zvuková kulisa (tipnavylety.cz). Čerpadlá riadené mikroprocesormi vytvárajú simuláciu morských prúdov, čím sa zabezpečuje autentický zážitok (turistik.cz).
Sea World, opened in 2002, offers visitors an impressive experience with its largest tank holding 100,000 liters. The environment is designed to closely mimic the natural conditions of its inhabitants, including special lighting that simulates moonlight and the imitation of tidal effects (morsky-svet.cz). Located at the Prague Exhibition Grounds, it has operated as a zoological garden since 2007. In 2003, a 25-meter-long coral cave was added, and in 2008, a 27,000-liter tank featuring primarily South American ichthyofauna was introduced (morsky-svet.cz).
The „Western Ghats River“ exhibit showcases the journey of a river from its source to the valley. The Western Ghats is a mountain range in southern India, known as one of the world’s eight biodiversity hotspots. Overall, there are 360 species of animals housed in 60 uniquely themed aquariums (kudyznudy.cz). The atmosphere is further enhanced by models of the ship Bounty, a lighthouse, and other elements (mapy.cz). The interior is adorned with the largest hand-painted mural in Europe, with lighting effects and soundscapes creating the sensation of being underwater (tipnavylety.cz). Pumps controlled by microprocessors simulate ocean currents, ensuring an authentic experience (turistik.cz).
