Registrujem tieto formy: Kasanga, Moliro, Nmasi, Tanzania (Peter Kaclík). Dosahuje 13.5 cm, ideálna preň je teplota 2426°C (Fish Base), pH 7.89.5, dH 1030°H (Seriously Fish).

Callochromis macrops (Boulenger, 1898) is an endemic species of Lake Tanganyika. Its breeding is considered among the more demanding ones. It is characterized by significant sexual dimorphism. The male is more brightly colored and has longer fins than the female, exhibiting more pronounced behavior during the breeding period when attempting to attract the female. The female is typically smaller with more subdued coloring. During the breeding period, she takes care of the offspring and protects them in hiding places. This fish is a typical inhabitant of sandy and rocky areas of Lake Tanganyika. Its diet primarily consists of plankton and small invertebrates. I register these variants: Kasanga, Moliro, Nmasi, Tanzania (Peter Kaclík). It reaches a length of 13.5 cm, and the ideal temperature is 2426°C (Fish Base), pH 7.89.5, dH 1030°H (Seriously Fish).
