Pribylina – kraj pod Kriváňom

Pribylina je jedna z obcí, ktorá bola skrášlená, jej centrum bolo naozaj pekne spravené. V obci je Múzeum liptovskej dediny.

Leží vo výške 745 metrov nad morom, pod sútokom Račkovho potoka s riekou Belá. Založená bol v roku 1331. V súčastnosti tu žije 1350 obyvateľov. Neďaleké Podbanské je východiskom do východnej časti Západných Tatier a do západnej časti Vysokých Tatier (pribylina.sk). Názov je možno odvodený od toho, že leží pri rieke, ktorá mala pôvodne meno Biala. Alebo sa viaže ku nárečovému slovu „priby“, ktoré označuje nových osadníkov (pribylina.sk).

Pribylina is one of the villages that has been beautified, with its center truly well-kept. The village is home to the Museum of Village.

Situated at an elevation of 745 meters above sea level, it lies at the confluence of Račkov Potok and the Belá River. It was founded in 1331, and currently, it is inhabited by 1,350 residents. Nearby Podbanské serves as a starting point for the eastern part of the Western Tatras and the western part of the High Tatras (pribylina.sk). The name of the village may be derived from its location near a river originally named Biala. Alternatively, it may be linked to the dialect word „priby,“ which refers to new settlers (pribylina.sk).

v Bratislave sú obdobím plným radosti, svetiel. Bratislavské Vianočné sú jedným z najkrajších v strednej Európe. Hlavné námestie sa premení na vianočný raj s drevenými stánkami, kde sa ponúkajú tradičné slovenské výrobky, a lahodné jedlá. Návštevníci si môžu vychutnať medovinu, tradičné vianočné koláče. Centrum a  historické časti Bratislavy žiaria v pestrých farbách, sú vyzdobené stovkami svetiel, ozdobami a vianočnými stromčekmi. Počas adventu sa v Bratislave koná viacero kultúrnych podujatí. Rôzne adventné , divadelné predstavenia a vianočné pridávajú do atmosféry a zábavu.

Christmas in is a time filled with joy and lights. The Bratislava Christmas Markets are among the most beautiful in Central Europe. The Main Square transforms into a Christmas wonderland with wooden stalls offering traditional Slovak products, crafts, and delicious foods. Visitors can indulge in mead and traditional Christmas pastries. The city center and historic parts of Bratislava shine in vibrant colors, adorned with hundreds of lights, decorations, and Christmas trees. During Advent, Bratislava hosts various cultural events. Advent concerts, theatrical performances, and Christmas festivities add an artistic and entertaining touch to the atmosphere.

je úžasná vec. Naše pri športových aktivitách je podobné ako kedysi prejavoval človek predátor v dobe, kedy človek lovil. Vzrušenie pri športe je veľmi podobné vzrušeniu, ktoré pravdepodobne pociťovali predchodcovia Homo sapiens z obdobia pred naším letopočtom. Je to pudová záležitosť. Pri športe – myslím tým športy, pri ktorých sa človek hýbe – pociťujem jednoducho radosť z pohybu, získavam dobrý pocit. Okrem toho, už mnoho ľudí šport zmenil k lepšiemu. Aj mňa naučil byť náročný na druhých, a čo je dôležitejšie aj na seba. Ja sám som aktívnejšie lyžoval a hral basketbal. Ak by som sa mal dnes začínať, rozhodoval by som zo zdravotného hľadiska skúsiť cyklistiku a plávanie. Plávanie je snáď najvšestrannejší šport a cyklistika je výborná na vytrvalosť a tréning podporuje srdce. Sám dnes už športujem menej, ale snažím sa :-)).

Sport is an amazing thing. Our behavior during sports activities is similar to how our ancestors, the predators of ancient times, used to express themselves when hunting. The excitement in sports closely resembles the thrill that Homo sapiens predecessors likely experienced in the prehistoric era. It’s an instinctual matter. In sports—by which I mean activities involving physical movement—I simply feel the joy of motion, gaining a sense of well-being. Moreover, sports have positively changed the lives of many people, teaching them to be demanding not only of others but, more importantly, of themselves. Personally, I’ve been more active in skiing and basketball. If I were to start today, I would consider trying cycling and swimming from a health perspective. Swimming is perhaps the most versatile sport, and cycling is excellent for endurance, promoting heart health through training. I, myself, engage in sports less nowadays, but I try to stay active :-)).

Ľudia väčšinou more obdivujú. Jeho nesmierna veľkosť, zdanlivá nekonečnosť ponúkajú priestor na rozjímanie a objavovanie. More hrá kľúčovú úlohu nielen v prírodnom ekosystéme, ale aj v kultúre a histórii. More tvorí približne 71 percent povrchu Zeme a obsahuje približne 97 percent na našej planéte. Jeho hĺbka sa pohybuje od pomerne plytkých oblastí kontinentálnych až po hlboké priepasti v oceánoch. Každý meter mora hostí fascinujúci ekosystém plný života, od mikroskopického planktónu po majestátne veľryby.

More je zdrojom inšpirácie, krásy a dôležitých prírodných zdrojov. Jeho úloha v živote ľudstva je nepochybná, a preto je dôležité si uvedomiť jeho hodnotu a pracovať na jeho ochrane. Svet, ktorý nás fascinuje svojou hĺbkou, tajomstvom a krásou, si zaslúži našu lásku a starostlivosť. Tento unikátny ekosystém poskytuje obživu pre mnohé druhy rýb, ktoré sú potravou pre mnohé ďalšie druhy. More zabezpečuje aj množstvo ďalších zdrojov pre ľudí. More má dlhú históriu spojenú s ľudstvom. Výpravy cez more umožnili objavovať nové svety, obchodovať a navzájom sa obohacovať kultúrnymi vplyvmi. Staré civilizácie, ako Feničania či Gréci, využívali more na výmenu tovarov a nápadov. More je často spojené aj s legendami a mýtom, ako je príbeh o Atlantíde alebo morských monštrách. Jeho nekonečná hĺbka a neobjavené oblasti vzbudzujú fantáziu ľudí a slúžia ako základ pre mnohé príbehy a .

Pláže s bielym pieskom, azúrové vody a nekonečné na oceán prilákali milióny ľudí k cestovaniu na pobrežia. Rekreačné aktivity pri mori sú rozmanité, od plávania a potápania po surfovanie a rybolov. Letné dovolenky a návštevy prímorských letovísk sú synonymom oddychu a relaxácie. Súčasný svet však čelí vážnym výzvam spojeným s ochranou a udržateľnosťou morí. Znečisťovanie plastami, nadmerný rýb, klimatické zmeny a strata biodiverzity predstavujú hrozby pre tento vzácny ekosystém. a udržateľný prístup k využívaniu morských zdrojov sú kľúčové pre zachovanie krásy a bohatstva mora pre budúce generácie.

People generally admire the sea. Its immense size and apparent infinity provide a space for contemplation and exploration. The sea plays a crucial role not only in the natural ecosystem but also in culture and history. Covering approximately 71 percent of the Earth’s surface and containing about 97 percent of the planet’s water, the sea’s depth ranges from relatively shallow continental areas to deep oceanic trenches. Every meter of the sea hosts a fascinating ecosystem teeming with life, from microscopic plankton to majestic whales.

Its role in human life is undeniable, emphasizing the importance of recognizing its value and working towards its protection. The world that captivates us with its depth, mystery, and beauty deserves our love and care. This unique ecosystem provides sustenance for numerous fish species, which, in turn, serve as food for many others. The sea also offers a variety of resources for humans.

The sea has a long history intertwined with humanity. Sea voyages enabled the exploration of new worlds, facilitated trade, and enriched cultures with diverse influences. Ancient civilizations, such as the Phoenicians and Greeks, utilized the sea for the exchange of goods and ideas. The sea is often associated with legends and myths, such as the story of Atlantis or sea monsters. Its endless depth and undiscovered areas fuel people’s imagination and serve as the foundation for many stories and artistic works.

Beaches with white sands, azure waters, and endless ocean views have attracted millions of people to travel to coastal areas. Recreational activities by the sea are diverse, ranging from swimming and diving to surfing and fishing. Summer vacations and visits to seaside resorts are synonymous with relaxation and recreation. However, the contemporary world faces serious challenges related to the protection and sustainability of the seas. Pollution with plastics, overfishing, climate change, and the loss of biodiversity pose threats to this precious ecosystem. Protection and a sustainable approach to the use of marine resources are crucial for preserving the beauty and wealth of the sea for future generations.

Piešťany v noci

v neoplývajú záplavou svetelného smogu, ale zväčša pomerne decentne pôsobiacimi zákutiami. Sú samozrejme výnimky, ktoré vyplývajú najskôr z bezpečnostných dôvodov. Aj typická vianočný výzdoba je adaptovaná na genius loci Piešťan. Odporúčam zájsť napr. ku jazierkam, do centra a užiť si mesto. Prípadne ku Váhu. Rieka, a poskytujú celkom jedinečnú optiku.

Piešťany at night are not overwhelmed by light pollution, but rather feature quite tasteful corners. Of course, there are exceptions, primarily for security reasons. Even the typical Christmas decorations are adapted to the genius loci of Piešťany. I recommend visiting places such as the ponds, the city center, and enjoying the town, or perhaps heading to the River. The river, water, and bridges offer a truly unique perspective.

Piešťany sind nachts nicht von einer Flut von Lichtsmog überzogen, sondern zeichnen sich durch eher dezent wirkende Ecken und Winkel aus. Natürlich gibt es Ausnahmen, die wahrscheinlich aus Sicherheitsgründen notwendig sind. Auch die typische Weihnachtsbeleuchtung ist dem Genius Loci von Piešťany angepasst. Ich empfehle, zum Beispiel zu den Teichen, ins Stadtzentrum oder an die Waag zu gehen und die Stadt zu genießen. Der Fluss, das Wasser und die Brücken bieten eine ganz einzigartige Optik.
