Komor­né mes­to Glic­za­rów Gór­ny sa nachá­dza v tatrans­kej oblas­ti na kop­ci medzi Bie­lym Dunaj­com až po Buko­wi­nu Tatr­zu. Je jed­ným z naj­vyš­šie polo­že­ných miest v Poľ­sku (Jola Wal­kosz). Pozos­tá­va z tých­to čas­tí: Jur­zys­te, Maty­gó­wka, Bart­ków Wierch, Fiśko­wa Doli­na a Dziad­kó­wka (Wiki­pe­dia PL). Prvé zmien­ky sú z polo­vi­ce 17. sto­ro­čia. Obec bola zalo­že­ná po valas­kom prá­ve. Prví oby­va­te­lia pas­tie­ri oviec a poľ­no­hos­po­dá­ri. Po roku 1945 bola obec roz­de­le­ná na Glic­za­rów Dol­ny a Glic­za­rów Gór­ny. Domá­ci si cenia svo­ju kul­tú­ru a tra­dí­cie, čas­to sa oblie­ka­jú do nád­her­ných goral­ských kro­jov. V oblas­ti sa zacho­va­lo pod­hal­ské náre­čie (Jola Wal­kosz). Tra­dič­né oble­če­nie je cha­rak­te­ris­tic­kým prv­kom rodin­ných, cir­kev­ných a štát­nych osláv. Zacho­va­li sa tu archaic­ké dia­lek­ty, zvy­ky, ritu­ály, hud­ba, spev, tanec, archi­tek­tú­ra, ľudo­vé ume­nie (i‑tatry.pl). Obec­ný kato­lic­ký kos­tol je posta­ve­ný v tatrans­kom štý­le. Z Glyc­za­ro­wa sú nád­her­né výhľa­dy na Tat­ry. S obcou je spo­je­ná jed­na z naj­ťaž­ších cyk­lis­tic­kých etáp Oko­lo Poľ­ska, tzv. Glyc­za­ro­ws­ka ste­na (Jola Wal­kosz).


Glic­za­rów Gór­ny is loca­ted in the Tat­ra regi­on on a hill bet­we­en the Whi­te Duna­jec and Buko­wi­na Tatr­za­ńs­ka. It is one of the hig­hest situ­ated towns in Poland (Jola Wal­kosz). It con­sists of the fol­lo­wing parts: Jur­zys­te, Maty­gó­wka, Bart­ków Wierch, Fiśko­wa Doli­na, and Dziad­kó­wka (Wiki­pe­dia PL). The first men­ti­ons date back to the mid-​17th cen­tu­ry. The vil­la­ge was foun­ded after the Wal­la­chian law. The first inha­bi­tants were shep­herds and far­mers. After 1945, the vil­la­ge was divi­ded into Glic­za­rów Dol­ny and Glic­za­rów Gór­ny. The locals value the­ir cul­tu­re and tra­di­ti­ons, often dres­sing in beau­ti­ful high­lan­der cos­tu­mes. The Pod­ha­le dia­lect has been pre­ser­ved in the area (Jola Wal­kosz). Tra­di­ti­onal clot­hing is a cha­rac­te­ris­tic fea­tu­re of fami­ly, reli­gi­ous, and sta­te celeb­ra­ti­ons. Archaic dia­lects, cus­toms, ritu­als, music, sin­ging, dan­cing, archi­tec­tu­re, and folk art have been pre­ser­ved here (i‑tatry.pl). The vil­la­ge­’s Cat­ho­lic church is built in the Tat­ra sty­le. Glic­za­rów offers beau­ti­ful vie­ws of the Tat­ra Moun­tains. The vil­la­ge is con­nec­ted to one of the toug­hest cyc­ling sta­ges in the Tour de Polog­ne, kno­wn as the Glyc­za­rów Wall (Jola Walkosz).
