Každoročne sa v Piešťanoch otvára kúpeľná sezóna v prvý júnový víkend. Organizátori vždy pripravia spoločenský a kultúrny program.

Rok 2009 – V roku 2009 sa v prvý júnový víkend konali voľby do európskeho parlamentu, preto sa tentokrát Otvorenie konalo týždeň predtým ako obvykle.

Budeme musieť čeliť výzvam a hľadať rovnováhu medzi technologickým pokrokom, ekologickou udržateľnosťou a spoločenskými potrebami. Automobily sú nositeľmi kultúry, ich budúcnosť bude vďaka nim dynamická, plná rôznych príležitostí.

Their origin dates back to the 19th century, with the emergence of the first steam vehicles. The real boom occurred in the 20th century. With technological progress, they are constantly improving. Electronics and information technologies now dominate the automotive industry as well. Significant resources are invested in the development of autonomous vehicles, electric propulsion, and intelligent control systems. The automotive industry significantly stimulates the economy. However, it also brings negative consequences such as traffic jams, air pollution, and human life losses. We will have to face challenges and seek a balance between technological progress, environmental sustainability, and societal needs. Cars are carriers of culture, and their future will be dynamic, full of various opportunities.

Zlaté stuhy – Concours d´elegance

Už nejaký ten rok sa Piešťanoch koná podujatie nazvané „Zlaté stuhy„, alebo „Concours d´elegance“. V roku 2009 sa podujatie konalo 5.6 až 7.6.2009 (). Podujatie sa v Piešťanoch konalo v 30-tych rokoch 20. storočia. V rokoch 1932 až 1937 sa konávali o najkrajší automobil. Tradícia bola obnovená po roku 1980 už ako prehliadka historických vozidiel (Eva Jančinová). Program obyčajne pozostáva z jazdy a samozrejme s prehliadkou automobilov na Kúpeľnom ostrove (piestantv.sk).

Concours d’Elegance je symbolom, ktorý získavajú automobily za ich eleganciu, krásu a historickú hodnotu. Zameriava sa na estetiku, štýl a originalitu. Často tieto veterány predstavujú vrchol automobilového dizajnu a remesla.
