V kultúrno-spoločenskom centre Fontána 21. septembra 2016 sa uskutočnil 23. ročník národnej súťaže vo viazaní a aranžovaní kvetov Victoria Regia. Tentokrát s témou “Na krídlach anjela”. Podujatie organizuje Stredná odborná škola záhradnícka Piešťany v spolupráci s mestom Piešťany, Slovenskou asociáciou kvetinárov a floristov. Následne som sa vybral ich obdivovať. Výstava predstavila bohatú a pestrú kvetinovú výzdobu – kompozície z rezaných kvetov, kytíc, črepníkových rastlín aj aranžmány od záhradkárov a floristov. Súčasťou boli aj súťažné aranžmány a výstava bola sprístupnená verejnosti. Podujatie bolo vizuálne pôsobivé, výzdoba bola umiestnená aj v exteriéri.
On 21 September 2016, the 23rd edition of the national flower arranging and floral design competition Victoria Regia took place at the Fontána Cultural and Social Centre. This year’s theme was “On the Wings of an Angel.” The event was organised by the Secondary School of Horticulture in Piešťany in cooperation with the town of Piešťany and the Slovak Association of Florists and Floral Designers. I then went to admire the exhibits. The exhibition presented a rich and diverse floral display, including compositions made of cut flowers, bouquets, potted plants, as well as arrangements created by gardeners and florists. Competitive arrangements were also part of the exhibition, which was open to the general public. The event was visually impressive, with floral decorations installed both indoors and outdoors.
