Produktové školenie firmy SERA

Firma Aqua World, nemecká SERA a česká SERA usporiadala 18.11.2007 odborný seminár spojený s prednáškou Hynka Dařbujána. Seminár sa konal v priestoroch hotela Kotva vo Veľkom Bieli. Bol určený majiteľom, vedúcim predajní a personálu predajní s pokročilými skúsenosťami a znalosťami. Zúčastnilo sa ho približne 40-50 záujemcov. Seminár prebiehal cca od 10:00 a končil po 17 hodine. O účastníkov bolo dobre postarané, dostali sme občerstvenie, obed, preklad z nemčiny bol zabezpečený. Prekladal Ing. Oldřich Šimeček z českej SERY a Ing. Ján Kolc z firmy AQUA WORLD. Z nášho klubu sme sa zúčastnili traja Petrovia :-) – Benčúrik, Neubauer a ja. Rád by som vám popísal zopár informácií, ktoré sa mi zdali užitočné. Prednášajúcimi boli Dieter Untergasser – vedecký poradca spoločnosti SERA GmbH a Ing. Hynek Dařbuján – odborník na a morskú akvaristiku. S týmito témami a v tomto poradí: Dieter Untergasser – Osvedčené riešenia častých problémov vedecky podložené, Hynek Dařbuján – Cesta po jazere a novinky medzi cichlidami, Dieter Untergasser – Liečenie, vrátane nových prípravkov, poskytnutie vlastných skúseností z testovania. Dieter Untergasser bol výborne pripravený, rozprával o širokej palete výrobkov, ktoré SERA produkuje, od krmív až po liečivá, výluhy a iné prípravky upravujúce vodu. Priznám sa, že som čakal ďaleko viac chvály na výrobky „svojej“ firmy, ale toho som sa nedočkal. Pán Untergasser mal pripravené aj pomôcky, na ktorých demonštroval účinky niektorých výrobkov na úpravu – napr. „Toxivecu“. Okrem iného som sa dozvedel, že SERA poskytuje najkompletnejšiu sadu krmív pre jednotlivé druhy rýb. Zistil som, že SERA označené značkou FD sú krmivá lyofilizované, čiže sušené silným mrazom. Možno aj vy poznáte Aquatan. Ja sám ho občas používam, keď prenášam , a stretol som sa s tým aj v niektorých akvaristických predajniach. Ryby sú po ňom pokojnejšie. Aquatan viaže ťažké kovy, chlór vo vode, chráni pokožku rýb, pôsobí proti stresu rýb tým že vplýva na ich nervovú sústavu. Avšak viacerým akvaristom vadil zápach Aquatanu po vitamíne B. Nový Aquatan tento zápach už nemá.

Najviac ma zaujali štyri výrobky: Toxivec, Phosvec, Siporax a Protazol. Toxivec je prípravok, ktorý odstraňuje škodlivé látky z vody ako napr. amónium, dusičnany, chlór, chloramín, ťažké kovy, liečivá. Phosvec je určený na odstránenie fosfátov z vody – prebytok fosfátov je príčinou rastu rias. Účinkuje tak, že vytvorí zrazeninu (zákal), ktorý sa odstráni filtráciou. 500 g Phosvec granulátu viaže až 12 500 mg fosfátov. Siporax je vysoko porézny samočistiaci materiál vhodný do biofiltra ako filtračné médium. Jeden liter siporaxu poskytne 270 m2 plochy pre nitrifikačné baktérie. Siporaxové valčeky sú zo skla, preto sú chemicky neutrálne. Protazol je prípravok proti jednobunkovým kožným parazitom – napr. proti krupičke. Účinná látka preniká bunkovou stenou parazita. Protazol vodu nefarbí.

Prednáška Hynka Dařbujána bola zaujímavá a navyše vtipne podaná. Prostredníctvom nej sme sa pozreli do sveta, ktorý je od nášho veľmi vzdialený, exotický. Hynek sa vyjadril aj tom, že Tanganika nie je práve najbezpečnejší región. Centrá obchodu, prístavy a asi všetko tam nielen vypadá inak ako u nás, ale často je to aj veľmi rozdielne od našich predstáv. Darmo, Tanganika je iná . Hynek spomenul, že by sa rád na toto jazero ešte vrátil, tak nech mu to vyjde :-). Seminár zakončil Untergasser školením o liečivách a chorobách. Jeho rozprávanie bolo veľmi podrobné. Na Internete dokonca môžete pána Untergassera nájsť pod pomenovaním „rybí doktor“.

The company Aqua World, German SERA, and Czech SERA organized a professional seminar with a lecture by Hynek Dařbuján on November 18, 2007. The seminar took place at the Kotva Hotel in Veľký Biel and was aimed at owners, store managers, and experienced ZOO store personnel. Approximately 40-50 enthusiasts attended the seminar, which ran from around 10:00 to 17:00. Participants were well taken care of with refreshments, lunch, and translation from German. I would like to share some useful information from the seminar. The speakers were Dieter Untergasser, a scientific advisor to SERA GmbH, and Hynek Dařbuján, an expert on cichlids and marine aquaristics. The topics covered by Dieter Untergasser included proven solutions to common problems scientifically supported, treatment, including new preparations, and sharing personal experiences from testing. Untergasser spoke extensively about the range of products SERA produces, from feeds to medications, extracts, and other water conditioning products. He demonstrated the effects of some products on water treatment, such as „Toxivec.“

Four products that caught my attention were Toxivec, Phosvec, Siporax, and Protazol. Toxivec removes harmful substances from water, such as ammonium, nitrates, chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals, and medications. Phosvec is designed to remove phosphates from water, which cause algae growth. Siporax is a highly porous, self-cleaning material suitable for biofilters as a filtration medium. Protazol is a preparation against single-celled skin parasites, such as velvet disease.

Hynek Dařbuján’s lecture was interesting and humorously presented. Through it, we glimpsed into a world very different and exotic from ours. Hynek mentioned that Tanganyika is not the safest region, and he would like to return to this lake. The seminar concluded with Untergasser’s training on medications and diseases, providing detailed information. You can find Mr. Untergasser on the internet under the name „fish doctor.“

Die Teilnehmer wurden gut versorgt, erhielten Verpflegung und Mittagessen, und die Übersetzung aus dem Deutschen wurde sichergestellt. Die Übersetzer waren Ing. Oldřich Šimeček von der tschechischen SERA und Ing. Ján Kolc von der Firma AQUA WORLD. Drei von unserem Klub haben teilgenommen – Benčúrik, Neubauer und ich. Ich würde Ihnen gerne einige Informationen mitteilen, die mir nützlich erschienen. Die Referenten waren Dieter Untergasser – wissenschaftlicher Berater der Firma SERA GmbH und Ing. Hynek Dařbuján – Experte für Buntbarsche und Meerwasseraquaristik. Mit diesen Themen und in dieser Reihenfolge: Dieter Untergasser – Bewährte Lösungen für häufige wissenschaftlich fundierte Probleme, Hynek Dařbuján – Reise durch den Tanganjikasee und Neuigkeiten bei den Buntbarschen, Dieter Untergasser – Behandlung, einschließlich neuer Präparate, Bereitstellung eigener Erfahrungen aus Tests. Dieter Untergasser war sehr gut vorbereitet, sprach über die breite Palette von Produkten, die SERA herstellt, von Futtermitteln bis hin zu Heilmitteln, Extrakten und anderen Wasserbehandlungsprodukten. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich viel mehr Lob für die Produkte meiner Firma erwartet hatte, aber das blieb aus. Herr Untergasser hatte auch Utensilien vorbereitet, anhand derer er die Wirkung einiger Produkte auf die Wasserbehandlung demonstrierte, zum Beispiel „Toxivec“. Unter anderem habe ich erfahren, dass SERA das umfassendste Sortiment an Futtermitteln für verschiedene Fischarten anbietet. Ich habe festgestellt, dass mit der Bezeichnung FD gekennzeichnete SERA-Futtermittel lyophilisiert sind, also durch starken Frost getrocknet. Vielleicht kennen Sie auch Aquatan. Ich selbst benutze es manchmal, wenn ich Fische transportiere, und bin in einigen Zoohandlungen darauf gestoßen. Fische sind nach der Anwendung ruhiger. Aquatan bindet Schwermetalle, Chlor im Wasser, schützt die Haut der Fische und wirkt stressreduzierend, indem es auf ihr Nervensystem einwirkt. Aber vielen Aquarianern missfiel der Geruch von Aquatan nach Vitamin B. Der neue Aquatan hat diesen Geruch nicht mehr.

Vier Produkte haben mich besonders interessiert: Toxivec, Phosvec, Siporax und Protazol. Toxivec ist ein Präparat, das schädliche Substanzen wie Ammonium, Nitrate, Chlor, Chloramin, Schwermetalle und Medikamente aus dem Wasser entfernt. Phosvec ist zur Entfernung von Phosphaten aus dem Wasser bestimmt – ein Überschuss an Phosphaten ist die Ursache für Algenwachstum. Es wirkt, indem es eine Fällung (Trübung) erzeugt, die durch Filtration entfernt wird. 500 g Phosvec-Granulat bindet bis zu 12.500 mg Phosphate. Siporax ist ein hochporöses, selbstreinigendes Material, das als Filtermedium in Biofiltern verwendet wird. Ein Liter Siporax bietet 270 m2 Oberfläche für nitrifizierende Bakterien. Siporax-Röllchen bestehen aus Glas, sind daher chemisch neutral. Protazol ist ein Präparat gegen einzellige Hautparasiten – zum Beispiel gegen die Krätze. Der wirksame Bestandteil dringt durch die Zellwand des Parasiten ein. Protazol färbt das Wasser nicht.

Der Vortrag von Hynek Dařbuján war interessant und außerdem humorvoll dargebracht. Durch ihn haben wir einen Blick in eine Welt geworfen, die sehr weit von unserer entfernt und exotisch ist. Hynek äußerte auch, dass Tanganjika nicht gerade die sicherste Region ist. Zentralmärkte, Häfen und wahrscheinlich alles dort sehen nicht nur anders als bei uns aus, sondern oft auch sehr unterschiedlich von unseren Vorstellungen. Nun ja, Tanganjika ist eine andere Kultur. Hynek erwähnte, dass er gerne wieder an diesen See zurückkehren würde, also möge ihm das gelingen :-). Das Seminar schloss Untergasser mit einer Schulung über Heilmittel und Krankheiten ab. Sein Vortrag war sehr detailliert. Im Internet können Sie Herrn Untergasser sogar unter dem Namen „Fischarzt“ finden.

Třeboňská burza akvarijních ryb, rostlin a příslušenství

17.10.2009 – Lázeňský dům Aurora. Akciu poriadal Spolek českobudějovických akvaristů AKVA TERA v spolupráci s AQUA Festival o.s.. Burzu sme navštívili dvoma autami. Niektorí sme sa prišli popozerať, niektorí sme aj predávali. Musím povedať, že rybičky boli pekné, ponuka bola široká, aj rastlín bolo dosť, aj techniky. Akvarista si prišiel na svoje. Samozrejme, akcia poslúžila aj spoločensky, zišli sme sa starí aj noví známi z rôznych kútov Česka a Slovenska. Mám však aj kritiku, ani nie na organizátora, ale skôr na predajcov. Ceny rýb boli veľmi nízke. Som presvedčený o tom, že to je tragédia. Predávať tetričky po 6-10 Kč a veľké 10 cm po 10 Kč likviduje. Dôvod musí byť každému rozumnému človeku zrejmý.

Po akcii sme mali možnosť ísť vďaka organizátorovi, na dohodnutý obed a potom nás na prednáške Vladko Bydžovský oboznámil so svojimi zážitkami na cestách vo východnej Ázii. Nepamätám si presne už, čo všetko ukazoval, ale mám pocit, že okrem iného, určite Singapúr. Ostal mi z pocit o tom, že v Ázii berú akvaristiku ako dobrý biznis, že sa o obchodníkov perfektne starajú. A že majú možnosť sa akvaobchodníci prezentovať, že je tomu venovaná taká pozornosť, aká sa tu možno nevenuje ani automobilovému priemyslu. majú možnosť vystavovať nielen tovar, ale môžu si zasúťažiť so svojimi rybami, iste aj s celými akváriami. Na môj vkus to bolo až trošku príliš obchodné a chladné, každopádne chápem že som sa pozeral na akcie, ktoré mali slúžiť obchodnému zámeru.

Nakoniec sme nasadli do áut, s domácimi sme sa stavili pri pumpe na rum (pre mňa bizarné :-) ) a šli sme Zdeňkovi Dočekalovi, kde sme obdivovali jeho , vyprávali, bavili sa. Bolo to veľmi príjemné posedenie medzi parádnymi rybami v tichej, už vtedy zasneženej dedinke vo vrchovine. Čo vám budem hovoriť, kto poznáte Zdeňka, ľahko prijmete informáciu, že sme prišli hlboko v .

17.10.2009 – Spa House Aurora. The event was organized by the Association of České Budějovice Aquarists AKVA TERA in cooperation with AQUA Festival o.s. We visited the fair with two cars. Some of us came to look around, some even came to sell. I must say that the fish were beautiful, the selection was wide, and there were enough plants and equipment. The aquarists had a great time. Of course, the event also served socially; we met old and new friends from various corners of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. However, I have some criticism, not directed at the organizer but rather at the sellers. The prices of the fish were very low. I am convinced that this is a tragedy. Selling tetras for 6-10 CZK and large 10 cm cichlids for 10 CZK is ruining the breeding. The reason must be obvious to any reasonable person.

After the event, thanks to the organizer, we had the opportunity to have a pre-arranged lunch, and then Vladko Bydžovský acquainted us with his experiences traveling in East Asia. I don’t remember exactly what he showed, but I have the feeling that, among other things, he definitely talked about Singapore. I got the impression from the lecture that in Asia, they see aquaristics as good business, and they take excellent care of the traders. And that aquarium traders have the opportunity to present themselves, that there is attention given to it, which may not be given even to the automotive industry here. Breeders have the opportunity to exhibit not only goods but also compete with their fish, surely also with entire aquariums. For my taste, it was a bit too commercial and cold, but I understand that I was looking at events that were meant to serve a business purpose.

In the end, we got into the cars, stopped at the gas station for rum (bizarre for me :-)), and went to Zdeněk Dočekal’s place, where we admired his fish, talked, and had a good time. It was a very pleasant sitting among fantastic fish in a quiet, already snow-covered village in the highlands. What can I say, for those who know Zdeněk, you’ll easily accept the information that we got home late at night.

17.10.2009 – Kurhaus Aurora. Die Veranstaltung wurde vom Verein der Aquarianer České Budějovice AKVA TERA in Zusammenarbeit mit dem AQUA Festival o.s. organisiert. Wir besuchten die Messe mit zwei Autos. Einige von uns kamen zum Anschauen, einige sogar zum Verkaufen. Ich muss sagen, dass die Fische schön waren, die Auswahl groß und genügend Pflanzen und Ausrüstung vorhanden waren. Die Aquarianer hatten eine tolle Zeit. Natürlich diente die Veranstaltung auch gesellschaftlichen Zwecken; wir trafen alte und neue Freunde aus verschiedenen Teilen der Tschechischen Republik und der Slowakei. Ich habe jedoch einige Kritikpunkte, nicht gegenüber dem Organisator, sondern eher gegenüber den Verkäufern. Die Preise für die Fische waren sehr niedrig. Ich bin überzeugt, dass dies eine Tragödie ist. Tetras für 6-10 CZK und große 10 cm Buntbarsche für 10 CZK zu verkaufen, ruiniert die Zucht. Der Grund muss für jeden vernünftigen Menschen offensichtlich sein.

Nach der Veranstaltung hatten wir dank des Organisators die Gelegenheit, zu einem vorher vereinbarten Mittagessen zu gehen, und dann informierte uns Vladko Bydžovský über seine Erfahrungen auf Reisen in Ostasien. Ich erinnere mich nicht genau, was er gezeigt hat, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass er unter anderem definitiv über Singapur gesprochen hat. Ich hatte den Eindruck von der Vorlesung, dass in Asien Aquaristik als gutes Geschäft betrachtet wird und sie sich hervorragend um die Händler kümmern. Und dass Aquarienhändler die Möglichkeit haben, sich zu präsentieren, dass ihnen Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird, die hier vielleicht nicht einmal der Automobilindustrie geschenkt wird. Züchter haben die Möglichkeit, nicht nur Waren, sondern auch ihre Fische zu präsentieren, sicherlich auch ganze Aquarien. Für meinen Geschmack war es ein wenig zu geschäftlich und kalt, aber ich verstehe, dass ich Veranstaltungen betrachtet habe, die einem geschäftlichen Zweck dienen sollen.

Am Ende stiegen wir in die Autos, hielten an der Tankstelle für Rum an (für mich bizarr :-)) und fuhren zu Zdeněk Dočekal, wo wir seine Fische bewunderten, uns unterhielten und eine gute Zeit hatten. Es war sehr angenehm, unter fantastischen Fischen in einem ruhigen, bereits verschneiten Dorf in den Highlands zu sitzen. Was soll ich sagen, für diejenigen, die Zdeněk kennen, werden die Informationen leicht akzeptieren, dass wir spät in der Nacht nach Hause kamen.

Chovňa Jána Budaia

Po absolvovaní Akvafitu v Žiline v decembri 2009 nás pozval Janko Budai do svojho akvaristického kráľovstva. Boli nás 3-4 a bolo sa načo pozerať, aj o čom sa pozhovárať. Mne bolo jasné, že Jano moly musí, a že sa plný úsilia pustil do chovu krevetiek.

After attending Akvafit in Žilina in December 2009, Janko Budai invited us to his aquarium kingdom. There were 3-4 cars of us, and there was plenty to see and talk about. It was clear to me that Janko was passionate about his hobby and had enthusiastically ventured into breeding shrimp.

Rizlaci bola dobrá akvaristika v Banskej Bystrici

Prečo sa volá RIZLACI? Nuž preto, lebo sa s manželkou jej majiteľ dohodol, že názov predajne bude zložený z mena Richard, jej mena Zlatica a ich spoločného priezviska Cirák. Akvaristika sa nachádza v Banskej Bystrici na nám. SNP č. 20. Vchod do predajne je z Lazovnej , čo je od asi 60 metrov. Predajňa má len krátku históriu, otvorila po prvýkrát 6. novembra 2006 a má rozlohu 89 m2. Je orientovaná hlavne na predaj akváriových rybičiek a predaj rastliniek do akvárií. Je to Rišov koníček, ktorému sa s menším prestávkami venuje takmer 30 rokov. V akváriách sa nachádza veľmi široký výber rybičiek z celého sveta. V tejto predajni sa v poslednom období konajú aj tzv. „akvastretká“, na ktorých sa stretávajú skúsení ale aj menej skúsení akvaristi, ktorí sa vzájomne dopĺňajú o skúsenosti z oblasti akvaristiky.

V najväčšej miestnosti, sa nachádza predajný pult, na ktorom sú umiestnené rôzne druhy granulovaného, vločkového a mrazeného krmiva v rozváženom stave, ale aj v originálnom balení, teráriá s rôznymi druhmi hadov a iných teráriových zvierat. Ponuka krmív je pestrá, nájdu sa tu najmä výrobky firiem TROPICAL, SAK, DAJANA. Mrazené sú zastúpené v plnej zostave. Veľmi kladne hodnotím, že Richard máva v ponuke aj živú potravu – koretru, patentku a nitenky. V presklenej časti predajného pultu sú rôzne pochúťky pre psov a mačky, ako aj potreby pre akvaristov a teraristov. Za predajným pultom sa nachádzajú tri väčšie kovové stojany, na ktorých sú umiestnené rôzne druhy filtrov do akvárií, vzduchovacie motorčeky, ohrievače, a ako aj keramiky slúžiace na dekoráciu do akvárií. Okrem iného aj potreby pre chovateľov teráriových zvierat, hlodavcov, vtákov a v neposlednom rade aj pre chovateľov psov a mačiek. V tejto miestnosti, v ľavej časti sa nachádzajú kovové stojany na ktorých je celkom umiestnených 50 akvárií, pričom najväčšie má objem 550 litrov. V strede miestnosti sa nachádza aj antikorová tzv. „vaňa“, ktorá má objem do 1000 litrov a v nej spokojne plávajú rôzne farebné druhy karasov a koi kaprov ako aj jeseterov, určených hlavne do vonkajších záhradných jazierok. V druhej miestnosti sa nachádzajú rôzne druhy terárií a akvárií a klietok. V tejto miestnosti sú aj teráriá s väčšími druhmi plazov a klietky s rôznymi druhmi okrasných vtákov. Ponuku rastlín tvorí prevažne ponuka Aqua-DAHO v emerznej aj v submerznej forme. Obľúbené sú najmä druhy rodov Anubias, Cryptocoryne a Crinum. Liečivá v akvaristike sú najmä od firmy SERA.

Riša bavia a je to vidieť aj v jeho predajni. V nádržiach sa nachádza veľké množstvo druhov rýb, z ktorých viaceré nepatria do bežného sortimentu v chovateľských obchodoch. Riša som poznal ešte predtým, ako si „spravil“ Akvaristiku a poznal som ho ako nadšenca, ktorý vtedy pre seba aktívne sám zháňal ryby od výmyslu sveta. Pravdepodobne tomu zostal verný, pretože v jeho obchode vždy nájdete zaujímavé kúsky aj pre ostrieľaného chovateľa. Je škoda, že predajňa spredu nepôsobí prívetivo. Fasáda mestskej steny je ošarpaná a doslova škaredá. Ďalšou vecou, ktorá by sa hodila ku nádržiam je pozadie, keďže v stojanoch sú bez neho. Lepšie by vynikli ryby aj a celé by to získalo kompaktnosť. V čase mojej nedávnej návštevy EXOTIC Show v Banskej Bystrici som zistil, že Richard dal za akvária pozadia. V akvaristike RIZLACI sú vždy, keď som tam, ryby očividne v poriadku. Akvaristika RIZLACI je pre mňa veľmi zaujímavá. Nie je to typická uhladená predajňa, premyslená do detailov, ale je to dielo, ktoré sa stavia za pochodu. Zanietený akvarista by si mal do nej cestu nájsť a verím tomu, že vďaka zaujímavým rybám vo výbornom stave a prístupu personálu, sa tam aj často vráti.

Akvaristika bohužiaľ medzičasom skončila, avšak tí ktorí ju zosobňovali sú stále fajn.

The name „RIZLACI“ for the aquarium shop in has an interesting origin. It is a combination of the names Richard and Zlatica, the owners of the shop, and their shared surname, Cirák. Located at SNP Square No. 20 in Banská Bystrica, the entrance to the shop is from Lazovná Street, approximately 60 meters from the square. Despite its short history, as it first opened its doors on November 6, 2006, the shop has made a mark with its area of 89 m², primarily focusing on the sale of aquarium fish and aquatic plants.

Richard, the owner, has been involved in this hobby for almost 30 years, dedicating himself to it with occasional breaks. The shop offers a wide selection of fish from around the world. In recent times, the shop has also been hosting „akvastreks,“ where experienced and less experienced aquarists come together to share their knowledge and experiences in the field of aquatics.

The main room features a sales counter displaying various types of granulated, flake, and frozen fish food, both in bulk and original packaging. Additionally, terrariums with different species of snakes and other terrarium animals are showcased. The diverse food selection includes products from reputable brands such as TROPICAL, SAK, and DAJANA. Frozen foods are also available in full supply. Notably, the shop offers live food such as worms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. A glass section of the sales counter displays treats for dogs and cats, as well as supplies for aquarists and terrarists. Behind the counter are three larger metal stands holding various aquarium filters, air pumps, heaters, roots, stones, and ceramics for aquarium decoration. The shop also caters to the needs of reptile, rodent, bird, dog, and cat enthusiasts.

In the left part of the room, metal stands with 50 aquariums, the largest having a volume of 550 liters, are neatly arranged. Additionally, there is an anticorrosive „tub“ with a capacity of up to 1000 liters, housing various colorful species of carp, koi carp, sturgeons, mainly intended for outdoor garden ponds. The second room houses different types of terrariums, aquariums, and birdcages, along with larger terraria containing various reptiles and cages housing different species of ornamental birds. The plant selection mainly consists of offerings from Aqua-DAHO, both in emersed and submersed forms. Popular species include Anubias, Cryptocoryne, and Crinum. Medications in aquaristics are primarily from the SERA company.

Richard’s enthusiasm for fish is evident, and it is reflected in his shop. The tanks are stocked with a wide variety of fish, including some not commonly found in typical pet stores. Richard was known to me even before he established „Akvaristika RIZLACI.“ I knew him as an enthusiast who actively sought fish from all corners of the world. He seems to have remained true to this passion because his shop always offers interesting finds for both seasoned and novice hobbyists.

It’s unfortunate that the storefront doesn’t exude a welcoming vibe. The facade against the city wall is worn and frankly unattractive. Another improvement that would enhance the tanks is a background, as the aquariums in the stands are currently without one. This addition would make the fish and plants stand out, giving the entire setup a more cohesive appearance.

During my recent visit to the EXOTIC Show in Banská Bystrica, I noticed that Richard had added backgrounds to the aquariums. The fish are visibly in good condition whenever I visit RIZLACI. Akvaristika RIZLACI is fascinating to me. It’s not the typical polished store meticulously planned to the last detail but rather a work in progress. An enthusiastic aquarist should find their way there, and I believe that thanks to the interesting and healthy fish and the staff’s approach, they will return frequently.

Unfortunately, Akvaristika has ended in the meantime, but those who embodied it are still great.
