17.10.2009 – Lázeňs­ký dům Auro­ra. Akciu poria­dal Spo­lek čes­ko­bu­dějo­vic­kých akva­ris­tů AKVA TERA v spo­lu­prá­ci s AQUA Fes­ti­val o.s.. Bur­zu sme nav­ští­vi­li dvo­ma auta­mi. Nie­kto­rí sme sa priš­li popo­ze­rať, nie­kto­rí sme aj pre­dá­va­li. Musím pove­dať, že rybič­ky boli pek­né, ponu­ka bola širo­ká, aj rast­lín bolo dosť, aj tech­ni­ky. Akva­ris­ta si pri­šiel na svo­je. Samoz­rej­me, akcia poslú­ži­la aj spo­lo­čen­sky, ziš­li sme sa sta­rí aj noví zná­mi z rôz­nych kútov Čes­ka a Slo­ven­ska. Mám však aj kri­ti­ku, ani nie na orga­ni­zá­to­ra, ale skôr na pre­daj­cov. Ceny rýb boli veľ­mi níz­ke. Som pre­sved­če­ný o tom, že to je tra­gé­dia. Pre­dá­vať tet­rič­ky po 6 – 10 Kč a veľ­ké 10 cm cich­li­dy po 10 Kč cho­va­teľ­stvo lik­vi­du­je. Dôvod musí byť kaž­dé­mu roz­um­né­mu člo­ve­ku zrejmý.

Po akcii sme mali mož­nosť ísť vďa­ka orga­ni­zá­to­ro­vi, na dohod­nu­tý obed a potom nás na pred­náš­ke Vlad­ko Bydžov­ský obo­zná­mil so svo­ji­mi zážit­ka­mi na ces­tách vo východ­nej Ázii. Nepa­mä­tám si pres­ne už, čo všet­ko uka­zo­val, ale mám pocit, že okrem iné­ho, urči­te Sin­ga­púr. Ostal mi z pred­náš­ky pocit o tom, že v Ázii berú akva­ris­ti­ku ako dob­rý biz­nis, že sa o obchod­ní­kov per­fekt­ne sta­ra­jú. A že majú mož­nosť sa akva­ob­chod­ní­ci pre­zen­to­vať, že je tomu veno­va­ná taká pozor­nosť, aká sa tu mož­no neve­nu­je ani auto­mo­bi­lo­vé­mu prie­mys­lu. Cho­va­te­lia majú mož­nosť vysta­vo­vať nie­len tovar, ale môžu si zasú­ťa­žiť so svo­ji­mi ryba­mi, iste aj s celý­mi akvá­ria­mi. Na môj vkus to bolo až troš­ku prí­liš obchod­né a chlad­né, kaž­do­pád­ne chá­pem že som sa poze­ral na akcie, kto­ré mali slú­žiť obchod­né­mu zámeru.

Nako­niec sme nasad­li do áut, s domá­ci­mi sme sa sta­vi­li pri pum­pe na rum (pre mňa bizar­né 🙂 ) a šli sme Zdeň­ko­vi Doče­ka­lo­vi, kde sme obdi­vo­va­li jeho ryby, vyprá­va­li, bavi­li sa. Bolo to veľ­mi prí­jem­né pose­de­nie medzi parád­ny­mi ryba­mi v tichej, už vte­dy zasne­že­nej dedin­ke vo vrcho­vi­ne. Čo vám budem hovo­riť, kto pozná­te Zdeň­ka, ľah­ko prij­me­te infor­má­ciu, že domov sme priš­li hlbo­ko v noci.

17.10.2009 – Spa Hou­se Auro­ra. The event was orga­ni­zed by the Asso­cia­ti­on of Čes­ké Budějo­vi­ce Aqu­arists AKVA TERA in coope­ra­ti­on with AQUA Fes­ti­val o.s. We visi­ted the fair with two cars. Some of us came to look around, some even came to sell. I must say that the fish were beau­ti­ful, the selec­ti­on was wide, and the­re were enough plants and equ­ip­ment. The aqu­arists had a gre­at time. Of cour­se, the event also ser­ved social­ly; we met old and new friends from vari­ous cor­ners of the Czech Repub­lic and Slo­va­kia. Howe­ver, I have some cri­ti­cism, not direc­ted at the orga­ni­zer but rat­her at the sel­lers. The pri­ces of the fish were very low. I am con­vin­ced that this is a tra­ge­dy. Sel­ling tetras for 6 – 10 CZK and lar­ge 10 cm cich­lids for 10 CZK is ruining the bre­e­ding. The rea­son must be obvi­ous to any rea­so­nab­le person.

After the event, thanks to the orga­ni­zer, we had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to have a pre-​arranged lunch, and then Vlad­ko Bydžov­ský acqu­ain­ted us with his expe­rien­ces tra­ve­ling in East Asia. I don’t remem­ber exact­ly what he sho­wed, but I have the fee­ling that, among other things, he defi­ni­te­ly tal­ked about Sin­ga­po­re. I got the impres­si­on from the lec­tu­re that in Asia, they see aqu­aris­tics as good busi­ness, and they take excel­lent care of the tra­ders. And that aqu­arium tra­ders have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to pre­sent them­sel­ves, that the­re is atten­ti­on given to it, which may not be given even to the auto­mo­ti­ve indus­try here. Bre­e­ders have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to exhi­bit not only goods but also com­pe­te with the­ir fish, sure­ly also with enti­re aqu­ariums. For my tas­te, it was a bit too com­mer­cial and cold, but I unders­tand that I was looking at events that were meant to ser­ve a busi­ness purpose.

In the end, we got into the cars, stop­ped at the gas sta­ti­on for rum (bizar­re for me :-)), and went to Zde­něk Doče­ka­l’s pla­ce, whe­re we admi­red his fish, tal­ked, and had a good time. It was a very ple­a­sant sit­ting among fan­tas­tic fish in a quiet, alre­a­dy snow-​covered vil­la­ge in the high­lands. What can I say, for tho­se who know Zde­něk, you­’ll easi­ly accept the infor­ma­ti­on that we got home late at night.

17.10.2009 – Kur­haus Auro­ra. Die Verans­tal­tung wur­de vom Vere­in der Aqu­aria­ner Čes­ké Budějo­vi­ce AKVA TERA in Zusam­me­nar­be­it mit dem AQUA Fes­ti­val o.s. orga­ni­siert. Wir besuch­ten die Mes­se mit zwei Autos. Eini­ge von uns kamen zum Anschau­en, eini­ge sogar zum Ver­kau­fen. Ich muss sagen, dass die Fis­che schön waren, die Auswahl groß und genügend Pflan­zen und Aus­rüs­tung vor­han­den waren. Die Aqu­aria­ner hat­ten eine tol­le Zeit. Natür­lich dien­te die Verans­tal­tung auch gesells­chaft­li­chen Zwec­ken; wir tra­fen alte und neue Fre­un­de aus vers­chie­de­nen Tei­len der Tsche­chis­chen Repub­lik und der Slo­wa­kei. Ich habe jedoch eini­ge Kri­tik­punk­te, nicht gege­nüber dem Orga­ni­sa­tor, son­dern eher gege­nüber den Ver­kä­u­fern. Die Pre­ise für die Fis­che waren sehr nied­rig. Ich bin über­ze­ugt, dass dies eine Tra­gödie ist. Tetras für 6 – 10 CZK und gro­ße 10 cm Bunt­bars­che für 10 CZK zu ver­kau­fen, ruiniert die Zucht. Der Grund muss für jeden ver­nünf­ti­gen Men­schen offen­sicht­lich sein.

Nach der Verans­tal­tung hat­ten wir dank des Orga­ni­sa­tors die Gele­gen­he­it, zu einem vor­her vere­in­bar­ten Mit­ta­ges­sen zu gehen, und dann infor­mier­te uns Vlad­ko Bydžov­ský über sei­ne Erfah­run­gen auf Rei­sen in Osta­sien. Ich erin­ne­re mich nicht genau, was er geze­igt hat, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass er unter ande­rem defi­ni­tiv über Sin­ga­pur ges­pro­chen hat. Ich hat­te den Ein­druck von der Vor­le­sung, dass in Asien Aqu­aris­tik als gutes Ges­chäft bet­rach­tet wird und sie sich her­vor­ra­gend um die Händ­ler küm­mern. Und dass Aqu­arien­händ­ler die Mög­lich­ke­it haben, sich zu prä­sen­tie­ren, dass ihnen Auf­merk­sam­ke­it ges­chenkt wird, die hier viel­le­icht nicht ein­mal der Auto­mo­bi­lin­dus­trie ges­chenkt wird. Züch­ter haben die Mög­lich­ke­it, nicht nur Waren, son­dern auch ihre Fis­che zu prä­sen­tie­ren, sicher­lich auch gan­ze Aqu­arien. Für mei­nen Gesch­mack war es ein wenig zu ges­chäft­lich und kalt, aber ich vers­te­he, dass ich Verans­tal­tun­gen bet­rach­tet habe, die einem ges­chäft­li­chen Zweck die­nen sollen.

Am Ende stie­gen wir in die Autos, hiel­ten an der Tanks­tel­le für Rum an (für mich bizarr :-)) und fuh­ren zu Zde­něk Doče­kal, wo wir sei­ne Fis­che bewun­der­ten, uns unter­hiel­ten und eine gute Zeit hat­ten. Es war sehr ange­nehm, unter fan­tas­tis­chen Fis­chen in einem ruhi­gen, bere­its ver­schne­i­ten Dorf in den High­lands zu sit­zen. Was soll ich sagen, für die­je­ni­gen, die Zde­něk ken­nen, wer­den die Infor­ma­ti­onen leicht akzep­tie­ren, dass wir spät in der Nacht nach Hau­se kamen.
