V posled­ných rokoch sa letec­ké dni kona­jú na Slia­či.

Rok 2009

13.6 – 14.6.2009 sa kona­li Národ­né letec­ké dni opäť v Pieš­ťa­noch. Ten­to­raz som sa ho zúčast­nil koneč­ne tak­mer od začiat­ku prog­ra­mu v sobo­tu. Ško­da, že začia­tok bol zúfa­lý. Veľ­ké množ­stvo ľudí čaka­lo pri­dl­ho na lís­t­ky, to orga­ni­zá­to­ri nez­vlád­li. Ja som si odstál asi 20 minút a to som bol asi 20 met­rov od lavi­ce, kde bol pre­daj lís­tkov. Za mnou bola hal­da. Nevši­mol som si, žeby orga­ni­zá­to­rov tla­či­la nie­kde topán­ka, skôr som mal pocit, že im to bolo fuk.

Year 2009

On June 13 – 14, 2009, the Nati­onal Air Days were held again in Pieš­ťa­ny. This time, I final­ly atten­ded it almost from the begin­ning of the prog­ram on Satur­day. It’s a pity that the start was des­pe­ra­te. A lar­ge num­ber of peop­le wai­ted too long for tic­kets, which the orga­ni­zers could­n’t hand­le. I sto­od in line for about 20 minu­tes, and I was about 20 meters from the tic­ket coun­ter. The­re was a heap behind me. I did­n’t noti­ce that the orga­ni­zers were under pre­ssu­re any­whe­re; rat­her, I felt like they did­n’t care.

14. – 15.6.2008 sa kona­li Národ­né letec­ké dni v Pieš­ťa­noch pod náz­vom ​“Dni národ­nej hrdos­ti”. Ich prvý roč­ník sa konal 16. – 17.6.2007. Foto­gra­fie z oboch podu­ja­tí náj­de­te nižšie.

On June 14 – 15, 2008, the Nati­onal Air Days took pla­ce in Pieš­ťa­ny under the name ​“Days of Nati­onal Pri­de.” The first edi­ti­on of this event was held on June 16 – 17, 2007. You can find pho­tog­raphs from both events below.

Silvester v Piešťanoch

Sil­ves­ter sa v Pieš­ťa­noch, čo si ja pamä­tám zvy­čaj­ne osla­vo­val aj ​“ofi­ciál­nym – veľ­kým” ohňos­tro­jom. Naj­mä v minu­los­ti sa odpa­ľo­val naj­mä z bre­hov Váhu, zhru­ba v úrov­ni kúpa­lis­ka EVA. Pre­to väč­ši­na divá­kov sa naň poze­ra­la z Kolo­nád­ne­ho mos­tu. Malo to svo­je čaro, aj ohni­vé efek­ty nad vodou boli v takom­to pro­stre­dí kraj­šie. V roku 2010 sa ohňos­troj odpa­ľo­val zo stre­chy Aupar­ku, v uzav­re­tej zástav­be. Čo bolo dosť nešťast­né roz­hod­nu­tie. Výhľad naň bol naozaj obme­dze­ný a jeho poten­ciál sa razom zní­žil. Men­šie ohňos­tro­je pre­bie­ha­li aj v roku 2010 a aj v minu­los­ti na rôz­nych mies­tach po celom meste.

In Pieš­ťa­ny, as far as I remem­ber, New Yea­r’s Eve was usu­al­ly celeb­ra­ted with an ​“offi­cial – grand” fire­works disp­lay. Espe­cial­ly in the past, it was laun­ched main­ly from the banks of the Váh River, rough­ly at the level of the EVA Spa. The­re­fo­re, most spec­ta­tors wat­ched it from the Colon­na­de Brid­ge. It had its charm, and the fie­ry effects over the water were more beau­ti­ful in such an envi­ron­ment. In 2010, the fire­works were laun­ched from the roof of Aupark, in a clo­sed urban area. It was a rat­her unfor­tu­na­te deci­si­on. The view was sig­ni­fi­can­tly limi­ted, and its poten­tial was sud­den­ly redu­ced. Smal­ler fire­works disp­la­ys also took pla­ce in 2010 and in the past at vari­ous loca­ti­ons throug­hout the city.

Vyštu­do­val som Prí­ro­do­ve­dec­kú fakul­tu UK v Bra­ti­sla­ve, odbor envi­ron­men­ta­lis­ti­ka, špe­cia­li­zá­cia eko­so­zo­ló­gia a fyzi­otak­ti­ka. Okrem toho mám hudob­né vzde­la­nie. Absol­vo­val som dycho­vé nástro­je na Ľudo­vej ško­le ume­nia, čias­toč­ne som sa naučil sám hrať na kla­vír. Zau­jí­ma ma okrem iné­ho kul­tú­ra vo vše­obec­nos­ti, his­tó­ria, prí­rod­né vedy, ces­to­pi­sy … Kedy­si som chcel ísť štu­do­vať ché­miu, ale živím sa infor­má­cia­mi a tech­ni­kou. Postup­ne ma stá­le viac a viac láka ume­nie. Vo svo­jej prá­ci sa zaobe­rám geo­gra­fic­kým infor­mač­ným sys­té­mom, dáto­vou a pries­to­ro­vou ana­lý­zou, iný­mi infor­mač­ný­mi sys­té­ma­mi, repor­tin­go­vý­mi služ­ba­mi.

I have com­ple­ted stu­dies at the Facul­ty of Natu­ral Scien­ces at Come­nius Uni­ver­si­ty in Bra­ti­sla­va, spe­cia­li­zing in envi­ron­men­tal scien­ce with a focus on ecop­hy­si­olo­gy. In addi­ti­on, I have a musi­cal backg­round, having gra­du­ated in wind ins­tru­ments from the Folk Scho­ol of Arts, and I have par­tial­ly taught myself to play the pia­no. I am inte­res­ted in vari­ous fields, inc­lu­ding cul­tu­re, his­to­ry, natu­ral scien­ces, and tra­ve­lo­gu­es. Alt­hough I once con­si­de­red stu­dy­ing che­mis­try, I now make a living wor­king with infor­ma­ti­on and tech­no­lo­gy. Over time, my inte­rest in the arts has gro­wn. In my pro­fes­si­onal life, I am invol­ved in geog­rap­hic infor­ma­ti­on sys­tems, data and spa­tial ana­ly­sis, other infor­ma­ti­on sys­tems, and repor­ting services.

Akva­ris­tic­ké úspe­chy a výsta­vy – bol som medzi­ná­rod­ný posu­dzo­va­teľ rýb Poeci­lia reti­cu­la­ta. V rokoch 2003 – 2008 som orga­ni­zo­val stret­nu­tia akva­ris­tov v Bra­ti­sla­ve v rám­ci www​.akva​.sk. Od vzni­ku klu​bu​.akva​.sk do roku 2008 som bol čle­nom rady toh­to občian­ske­ho zdru­že­nia, kde som sa v tom čase aktív­ne podie­ľal na čin­nos­ti klubu.

Aqu­arium suc­ces­ses and exhi­bi­ti­ons – I have been an inter­na­ti­onal jud­ge for Poeci­lia reti­cu­la­ta fish. From 2003 to 2008, I orga­ni­zed mee­tings of aqu­arium ent­hu­siasts in Bra­ti­sla­va wit­hin www​.akva​.sk. From the estab­lish­ment of klub​.akva​.sk until 2008, I was a mem­ber of the board of this civic asso­cia­ti­on, acti­ve­ly par­ti­ci­pa­ting in the clu­b’s acti­vi­ties during that time.
