Dopra­va pred­sta­vu­je pohyb ľudí a tova­rov z jed­né­ho mies­ta na dru­hé. Veľká noc v Piešťanoch

Raz som mal to šťas­tie, že som zba­dal už v neskor­ších hodi­nách z okna Veľ­ko­noč­nú pro­ce­siu. Nemal som hneď poru­ke potreb­nú tech­ni­ku, ale výsle­dok pod­ľa mňa sto­jí za pozre­tie. Na foto­gra­fiách vid­no, že sprie­vod obko­le­sil celý kru­ho­vý objazd, pek­ne sa oko­lo neho obto­čil a pokra­čo­val nas­päť sme­rom ku kos­to­lu, odkiaľ prišiel.

Once, I was for­tu­na­te enough to wit­ness the Eas­ter pro­ces­si­on in the late hours from my win­dow. I did­n’t have the neces­sa­ry equ­ip­ment imme­dia­te­ly at hand, but, in my opi­ni­on, the result is worth see­ing. In the pho­tos, you can see that the pro­ces­si­on encirc­led the enti­re roun­da­bout, ele­gan­tly wound around it, and con­ti­nu­ed back towards the church from whe­re it originated.

Ein­mal hat­te ich das Glück, die Oster­pro­zes­si­on in den spä­ten Stun­den aus mei­nem Fens­ter heraus zu beobach­ten. Ich hat­te nicht sofort die not­wen­di­ge Aus­rüs­tung zur Hand, aber das Ergeb­nis ist mei­ner Mei­nung nach sehen­swert. Auf den Fotos ist zu sehen, dass der Umzug den gesam­ten Kre­is­ver­kehr umrun­det hat, sich ele­gant darum gewun­den hat und dann in Rich­tung der Kir­che zurück­ge­gan­gen ist, von wo er gekom­men ist.

Text: Kor­nel Duf­fek Je nesko­rý večer, sko­ro noc – Veľ­ká noc. Z diaľ­ky zaznie­va tiah­ly spev. Spie­va množ­stvo ľudí, veľ­ký spe­vác­ky zbor. Meló­dia je pove­do­má, áno je to Alle­lu­ja. Na uli­ci ide pro­ce­sia – vpre­du miniš­tran­ti, za nimi kňaz s mon­štran­ci­ou a veria­ci. Osla­vu­jú svia­tok Zmŕt­vychvs­ta­nia. Pieš­ťan­ská pro­ce­sia, kto­rá vychá­dza z Kos­to­la sv. Cyri­la a Meto­da, sa líši od ostat­ných v tom, že pre­chá­dza dvo­ma okruž­ný­mi kri­žo­vat­ka­mi. Pri oboch sto­ja poli­caj­ti a zasta­vu­jú pre­máv­ku, aby pro­ce­sia moh­la neru­še­ne prejsť. Medzi­tým stá­le spie­va­jú­ci veria­ci sa otá­ča­jú na dru­hej okruž­nej kri­žo­vat­ke a poma­ly sa ube­ra­jú späť ku kostolu.

The melo­dy is fami­liar; yes, it’s the Alle­lu­ia. A pro­ces­si­on is moving down the stre­et – altar boys in the front, behind them a priest with the mon­stran­ce, and the faith­ful. They are celeb­ra­ting the Resur­rec­ti­on feast. The Eas­ter pro­ces­si­on in Pieš­ťa­ny, ori­gi­na­ting from the Church of St. Cyril and Met­ho­dius, is dif­fe­rent from others in that it pas­ses through two roun­da­bouts. At both, poli­ce offi­cers stand, stop­ping traf­fic so the pro­ces­si­on can pass undis­tur­bed. Mean­whi­le, the con­ti­nu­ous­ly sin­ging faith­ful turn at the second roun­da­bout and slo­wly make the­ir way back to the church.

Eine Pro­zes­si­on bewegt sich die Stra­ße entlang – Mini­stran­ten vor­ne­weg, dahin­ter ein Pries­ter mit der Mon­stranz und die Glä­u­bi­gen. Sie feiern das Fest der Aufers­te­hung. Die Oster­pro­zes­si­on in Pieš­ťa­ny, die von der Kir­che St. Cyril und Met­ho­dius aus­geht, unters­che­i­det sich von ande­ren darin, dass sie durch zwei Kre­is­ver­keh­re führt. An bei­den ste­hen Pol­izis­ten und stop­pen den Ver­kehr, damit die Pro­zes­si­on unges­tört pas­sie­ren kann. Wäh­rend­des­sen dre­hen sich die unun­terb­ro­chen sin­gen­den Glä­u­bi­gen am zwe­i­ten Kre­is­ver­kehr um und machen sich lang­sam auf den Rück­weg zur Kirche.
