The Main Squ­are trans­forms into a Chris­tmas won­der­land with wooden stalls offe­ring tra­di­ti­onal Slo­vak pro­ducts, crafts, and deli­ci­ous foods. Visi­tors can indul­ge in mead and tra­di­ti­onal Chris­tmas pas­tries. The city cen­ter and his­to­ric parts of Bra­ti­sla­va shi­ne in vib­rant colors, ador­ned with hun­dreds of lights, deco­ra­ti­ons, and Chris­tmas tre­es. During Advent, Bra­ti­sla­va hosts vari­ous cul­tu­ral events. Advent con­certs, the­at­ri­cal per­for­man­ces, and Chris­tmas fes­ti­vi­ties add an artis­tic and enter­tai­ning touch to the atmosphere.

Prvý roč­ník sa konal v roku 2011, hlav­ným orga­ni­zá­to­rom je Občian­ske zdru­že­nie Naše Zále­síč­ko (zales​ka​di​va​del​na​put​.sk). Záles­ká diva­del­ná púť je podu­ja­tie, na kto­rom hrá prím divad­lo, ale náj­de­te tu aj výtvar­né ume­nie, hud­bu, lite­ra­tú­ru, občerstve­nie a snáď dob­rú nála­du. Cez deň pre­bie­hal hlav­ný prog­ram pod veľ­kým sta­nom zame­ra­ný na det­ské­ho divá­ka (roz­práv­ky), večer bolo na prog­ra­me divad­lo a kon­cert pre star­ších a dospe­lých. V deň, kto­rý som sa fes­ti­va­lu zúčast­nil bola na prog­ra­me ohňo­vá šou a kon­cert Pet­ra Lipu. Mne sa veľ­mi páči­li nápa­dy a aj ich rea­li­zá­cia. Dre­vo, kameň a iný pri­ro­dze­nej­šie pôso­bia­ci mate­riál a nie elek­tro­ni­ka. Počú­val som mno­ho roz­prá­vok pop­ri foto­gra­fo­va­ní. Vystu­po­va­li v nich pro­fe­si­onál­ne súbo­ry, divad­lá. Zmo­der­ni­zo­va­né úpra­vy kla­sic­kých roz­prá­vok občas u mňa vyvo­la­li úsmev, poču­do­va­nie a občas aj šok. Zrej­me je to správ­na adap­tá­cia. V zná­mej ​“Soľ nad zla­to” zazne­lo – ​“mám ťa rada ako Ryt­mu­sa”.

The first edi­ti­on took pla­ce in 2011, and the main orga­ni­zer is the Civic Asso­cia­ti­on Naše Zále­síč­ko (zales​ka​di​va​del​na​put​.sk). Záles­ká Diva­del­ná Púť is an event that fea­tu­res pri­ma­ri­ly the­a­ter but also inc­lu­des visu­al arts, music, lite­ra­tu­re, ref­resh­ments, and hope­ful­ly good vibes. During the day, the main prog­ram unfol­ded under a lar­ge tent, focu­sing on the young audien­ce with fai­ry tales. In the eve­ning, the prog­ram inc­lu­ded the­a­ter and con­certs for older audiences.

On the day I atten­ded the fes­ti­val, the­re was a fire show and a con­cert by Peter Lipa. I was impres­sed by the ide­as and the­ir exe­cu­ti­on. Wood, sto­ne, and other natu­ral­ly occur­ring mate­rials took pre­ce­den­ce over elect­ro­nics. I lis­te­ned to many fai­ry tales whi­le taking pho­tog­raphs. Pro­fes­si­onal ensem­bles and the­a­ters per­for­med them. The moder­ni­zed adap­ta­ti­ons of clas­sic fai­ry tales occa­si­onal­ly brought a smi­le, admi­ra­ti­on, and some­ti­mes even shock. It seems to be the right kind of adap­ta­ti­on. In the well-​known ​“Soľ nad zla­to” per­for­man­ce, the line ​“I love you like Ryt­mus” was heard.

Súčas­ťou toh­to podu­ja­tia sú napr. jar­mo­ky, pre­hliad­ky his­to­ric­kých reme­siel, rôz­ne atrak­cie, súťa­že, kon­cer­ty, rytier­ske súbo­je. Sú tra­dič­nou kul­túr­nou a spo­lo­čen­skou uda­los­ťou. Kaž­do­roč­ne pri­ťa­hu­jú množ­stvo náv­štev­ní­kov. Ponú­ka­jú zau­jí­ma­vý prog­ram pre všet­ky veko­vé kate­gó­rie. Bež­ne vystu­pu­jú zná­mi umel­ci zo svo­jou hudob­ný­mi vystú­pe­nia­mi, pre­bie­ha­jú ukáž­ky ľudo­vých reme­siel, podá­va­jú sa gas­tro­no­mic­ké špe­cia­li­ty. Kona­jú sa his­to­ric­ké pre­zen­tá­cie, kto­ré oži­vu­jú his­tó­riu regi­ó­nu. Súťa­ží sa v rôz­nych kate­gó­riách, kona­jú sa výsta­vy, atrak­cie pre deti. Sláv­nos­ti majú čas­to tema­tic­ký cha­rak­ter. Bec­kov­ské sláv­nos­ti majú poten­ciál zdru­žo­vať komu­ni­tu, posil­ňo­vať vzťa­hy medzi oby­va­teľ­mi a pop­ri tom ponú­kať prí­le­ži­tosť spoz­nať bohat­stvo, kul­tú­ru regiónu.

In Bec­kov, the Bec­kov Fes­ti­vals are held annu­al­ly. The event inc­lu­des vari­ous acti­vi­ties such as mar­kets, tours of his­to­ri­cal crafts, vari­ous att­rac­ti­ons, com­pe­ti­ti­ons, con­certs, and knight­ly duels. They are a tra­di­ti­onal cul­tu­ral and social event that att­racts a lar­ge num­ber of visi­tors eve­ry year. The fes­ti­vals offer an inte­res­ting prog­ram for all age groups. Reno­wned artists com­mon­ly per­form with musi­cal pre­sen­ta­ti­ons, folk crafts are demon­stra­ted, and gas­tro­no­mic spe­cial­ties are ser­ved. His­to­ri­cal pre­sen­ta­ti­ons take pla­ce, brin­ging the regi­on’s his­to­ry to life. Com­pe­ti­ti­ons are held in dif­fe­rent cate­go­ries, exhi­bi­ti­ons are orga­ni­zed, and the­re are att­rac­ti­ons for chil­dren. The fes­ti­vals often have a the­ma­tic cha­rac­ter. Námes­tie pred rad­ni­cou sa zme­ní na Chris­tkindl­mar­kt s via­noč­ným stro­mom a von­kaj­ším ľado­vých klzis­kom. Kul­túr­ny život vo Vied­ni je boha­tý aj počas Via­noc. Kona­jú sa mno­hé via­noč­né kon­cer­ty s tra­dič­nou via­noč­nou hud­bou. Divad­lá a oper­né dvo­ry ponú­ka­jú špe­ciál­ne via­noč­né pred­sta­ve­nia. Via­noč­ná výzdo­ba Vied­ne je pôso­bi­vá.
