Vychádza to z ich minulosti vlka, kde existuje hierarchia a komunikácia pomocou tela, zvukov a vôní.

Dog – Canis lupus familiaris is a domesticated subspecies of the Canis lupus, also known as the wolf. This animal species plays a significant role in people’s lives all over the world. There are many different breeds and types of dogs, varying in size, color, temperament, and purpose.

Biologically, dogs are characterized by a group way of life, which means they tend to form stable social groups. This behavior stems from their wolf ancestors, where there is a hierarchy and communication through body language, sounds, and scents. The anatomy of a dog is well adapted to their needs. They have a highly developed sense of smell, much more sensitive than humans. Their ears are capable of movement, allowing them to detect sounds from various directions. Their muscular body provides strength and endurance, making them suitable companions for hunting and other activities. Dogs have a fast metabolism, and exercise is crucial for them to maintain muscle mass and fitness.

In relation to humans, dogs are known for their loyalty and ability to form bonds with people. They are intelligent and easily learn various commands and tricks. They are useful to humans in various roles, such as companions, guards, guide dogs for the blind, police dogs, drug detection dogs, and search and rescue dogs. Currently, dogs play an important role in scientific research, where they are used to study behavior, genetics, and the treatment of various diseases. World Dog Show Bratislava

Hits: 3017

In Bratislava at Incheba, the World Dog Show took place from October 8th to 11th, 2009. I regret that I didn’t manage to find enough time to fully enjoy the exhibition. I only had an hour, and I had to keep an eye on the time to catch my train. Next time, I’ll definitely go early in the morning. It was also a great pleasure to meet Ivan Čaniga during the event, who seemed to be enjoying himself among the various four-legged creatures of all shapes and sizes.

Over time, I’ve attended several dog shows, but this one was truly massive. The Incheba premises, where dog shows are usually held, proved insufficient, leading to competitions and displays taking place even outside the main halls under a gigantic tent, as evident in the introductory photos. I’m already looking forward to the next exhibition.
