Šport je úžas­ná vec. Naše sprá­va­nie pri špor­to­vých akti­vi­tách je podob­né ako kedy­si pre­ja­vo­val člo­vek pre­dá­tor v dobe, kedy člo­vek lovil. Vzru­še­nie pri špor­te je veľ­mi podob­né vzru­še­niu, kto­ré prav­de­po­dob­ne poci­ťo­va­li pred­chod­co­via Homo sapiens z obdo­bia pred naším leto­poč­tom. Je to pudo­vá zále­ži­tosť. Pri špor­te – mys­lím tým špor­ty, pri kto­rých sa člo­vek hýbe – poci­ťu­jem jed­no­du­cho radosť z pohy­bu, zís­ka­vam dob­rý pocit. Okrem toho, už mno­ho ľudí šport zme­nil k lep­šie­mu. Aj mňa naučil byť nároč­ný na dru­hých, a čo je dôle­ži­tej­šie aj na seba. Ja sám som aktív­nej­šie lyžo­val a hral bas­ket­bal. Ak by som sa mal dnes začí­nať, roz­ho­do­val by som zo zdra­vot­né­ho hľa­dis­ka skú­siť cyk­lis­ti­ku a plá­va­nie. Plá­va­nie je snáď najv­še­stran­nej­ší šport a cyk­lis­ti­ka je výbor­ná na vytrva­losť a tré­ning pod­po­ru­je srd­ce. Sám dnes už špor­tu­jem menej, ale sna­žím sa :-)).

Sport is an ama­zing thing. Our beha­vi­or during sports acti­vi­ties is simi­lar to how our ances­tors, the pre­da­tors of ancient times, used to express them­sel­ves when hun­ting. The exci­te­ment in sports clo­se­ly resem­bles the thrill that Homo sapiens pre­de­ces­sors like­ly expe­rien­ced in the pre­his­to­ric era. It’s an ins­tinc­tu­al mat­ter. In sports — by which I mean acti­vi­ties invol­ving phy­si­cal move­ment — I sim­ply feel the joy of moti­on, gai­ning a sen­se of well-​being. More­over, sports have posi­ti­ve­ly chan­ged the lives of many peop­le, tea­ching them to be deman­ding not only of others but, more impor­tan­tly, of them­sel­ves. Per­so­nal­ly, I’ve been more acti­ve in ski­ing and bas­ket­ball. If I were to start today, I would con­si­der try­ing cyc­ling and swim­ming from a health per­spec­ti­ve. Swim­ming is per­haps the most ver­sa­ti­le sport, and cyc­ling is excel­lent for endu­ran­ce, pro­mo­ting heart health through trai­ning. I, myself, enga­ge in sports less nowa­da­ys, but I try to stay active :-)).

Pod­ders­dorf am See je malé mes­teč­ko pri Nezi­der­skom jaze­re v Rakús­ku. Poders­dorf am See je obľú­be­nou turis­tic­kou des­ti­ná­ci­ou, naj­mä počas let­ných mesia­cov. Nezi­der­ské jaze­ro je jed­ným z naj­väč­ších rakús­kych jazier. Mes­to je tiež zná­me svo­ji­mi vini­ca­mi a vinármi.

V mes­te na plo­che 41.7 km2 žije 2051 oby­va­te­ľov (Wiki­pe­dia). Nachá­dza sa tu 1.4 km dlhá pláž z jem­ných kamien­kov na kúpa­nie. Mólo ma 200 met­rov a jeho kon­ci a nachá­dza 12 met­rov vyso­ký maják. Na svo­je si tu prí­du aj náv­štev­ní­ci ak si chcú zašpor­to­vať, dá sa tu sur­fo­vať, plach­tiť, vyko­ná­vať kite­sur­fing (moje​ra​kus​ko​.sk) padd­le­bo­ar­ding (wet​ra​ve​lwit​hlo​ve​.com), hrať plá­žo­vý volej­bal, mini­golf, stol­ný tenis, inli­ne kor­ču­ľo­vať (moje​ra​kus​ko​.sk). V oko­lí sú cyk­lis­tic­ké tra­sy (wet​ra​ve​lwit​hlo​ve​.com). Pre deti sú tu jas­lič­ky, vod­né ihris­ko, tram­po­lí­ny a iné atrak­cie (moje​ra​kus​ko​.sk).

Poders­dorf am See is a small town near Lake Neusiedl in Aus­tria. It is a popu­lar tou­rist des­ti­na­ti­on, espe­cial­ly during the sum­mer months. Lake Neusiedl is one of the lar­gest lakes in Aus­tria. The town is also kno­wn for its vine­y­ards and winemakers.

The town, cove­ring an area of 41.7 km², is home to 2,051 inha­bi­tants (Wiki­pe­dia). The­re is a 1.4 km long beach with fine pebb­les for swim­ming. Obec Čas­tá leží na roz­hra­ní Malých Kar­pát a Trnav­skej pahor­ka­ti­ny (cas​ta​.sk), v nad­mor­skej výš­ke 248 met­rov nad morom (cas​ta​.sk). Nad obcou je hrad Čer­ve­ný Kameň (cas​ta​.sk). Roz­lo­ha obce je 35.23 km2. Žije tu 2 235 oby­va­te­ľov (Wiki­pe­dia). Od roku 2004 tu Divad­lo na kole­ne orga­ni­zu­je kaž­do­roč­ne diva­del­ný fes­ti­val Fes­te­át­ro. 1. sep­tem­bra sa koná­va vytrva­lost­ný beh Mraz­nic­ké chod­níč­ky. 8. mája turis­tic­ký pochod Čas­tov­ská päť­de­siat­ka. Od roku 2004 sa pra­vi­del­ne orga­ni­zu­je Via­noč­ný volej­ba­lo­vý tur­naj (Wiki­pe­dia).

Prvá písom­ná zmien­ka je z roku 1240 (Wiki­pe­dia). Vznik­la ako pod­hra­die hra­du Čer­ve­ný Kameň (cas​ta​.sk). Maďar­ský názov je Csesz­te, nemec­ký Schatt­manns­dorf (Wiki­pe­dia). V roku 1560 zís­ka­la Čas­tá pri­vi­lé­gia mes­teč­ka. V polo­vi­ci 16. sto­ro­čia sa tu usa­di­lo nie­koľ­ko zemian­skych rodín a chor­vát­ski kolo­nis­ti. Oby­va­te­lia sa zaobe­ra­li poľ­no­hos­po­dár­stvom, vinoh­rad­níc­tvom, pôso­bi­li tu via­ce­ré cechy: deb­ná­rov, kraj­čí­rov, číž­má­rov, hrn­čia­rov, súken­ní­kov. V 16. sto­ro­čí tu bol vybu­do­va­ný pivo­var. Na kon­ci 17. sto­ro­čia tu bola papie­reň. Zo 17. sto­ro­čia sú zmien­ky o baniach na zla­to a strieb­ro, v 19. sto­ro­čí na síru a meď. V roku 1738 bola v Čas­tej moro­vá epi­dé­mia, na zaľud­ne­nie boli pozva­ní nemec­kí kolo­nis­ti (cas​ta​.sk).

Neďa­le­ko od Čas­tej pre­chá­dza aj Malo­kar­pat­ská vín­na ces­ta, kto­rá pozý­va milov­ní­kov vína k obja­vo­va­niu kva­lit­ných slo­ven­ských vín. Medzi naj­výz­nam­nej­šie pamiat­ky pat­rí kos­tol svä­té­ho Šte­fa­na, kto­rý je národ­nou kul­túr­nou pamiat­kou. Je to gotic­ký kos­tol so zacho­va­ný­mi rene­sanč­ný­mi a baro­ko­vý­mi prvkami.

The Hun­ga­rian name is Csesz­te, and the Ger­man name is Schatt­manns­dorf (Wiki­pe­dia). In 1560, Čas­tá was gran­ted town pri­vi­le­ges. In the mid-​16th cen­tu­ry, seve­ral nob­le fami­lies and Cro­atian colo­nists sett­led here. The resi­dents were enga­ged in agri­cul­tu­re, viti­cul­tu­re, and vari­ous guilds ope­ra­ted here: coopers, tai­lors, cobb­lers, potters, and clot­hiers. A bre­we­ry was built in the 16th cen­tu­ry. At the end of the 17th cen­tu­ry, the­re was a paper mill. From the 17th cen­tu­ry, the­re are men­ti­ons of mines for gold and sil­ver, and in the 19th cen­tu­ry, for sul­fur and cop­per. In 1738, the­re was a pla­gue epi­de­mic in Čas­tá, and Ger­man colo­nists were invi­ted to repo­pu­la­te the area (cas​ta​.sk).

Near Čas­tá, the Small Car­pat­hians Wine Rou­te pas­ses by, invi­ting wine ent­hu­siasts to dis­co­ver high-​quality Slo­vak wines. Among the most sig­ni­fi­cant land­marks is the Church of Saint Step­hen, recog­ni­zed as a nati­onal cul­tu­ral monu­ment. It is a Got­hic church with pre­ser­ved Renais­san­ce and Baro­que elements.

Zápo­le­nie pre­bie­ha­lo v roku 2006, v špor­to­vej hale Mla­dosť, na fut­ba­lo­vom šta­di­ó­ne Inte­ru Bra­ti­sla­va, v bas­ket­ba­lo­vej hale Inte­ru Bra­ti­sla­va, na atle­tic­kom šta­di­ó­ne Inte­ru Bra­ti­sla­va a v stol­no­te­ni­so­vej hale Rača. Poleg mla­dih upov so se pred­vsem na atlet­skem sta­di­onu giba­li tudi dru­gi, sta­rej­ši špor­tni­ki na doma­čem terenu.
