Významné vtáčie územie Adamovské jazerá

Hits: 3856

Mesto Gbely upravilo pred časom pláže, parkovacie plochy, vysadilo stromy a kríky, vybudovalo sprchy, umyváreň, sociálne zariadenia. Adamov je mestskou časťou mesta Gbely (gbely.sk). Adamovské jazerá sú ojedinelým príkladom spolužitia príroda a človeka. Je len málo mieste, kde môžete nahliadnuť do sveta vtáctva z takej bezprostrednej blízkosti. Desaťročia tu človek a vtáky žijú vedľa seba (Informačná tabuľa).

The Adamov Lakes are located at the 85th river kilometer of the Morava River. They provide opportunities for fishing, summer recreation, and swimming. There are three ports here, and two boats operate. From the Gbely Adamov port, you can sail to České Tvrdonice. The Adamov Lakes consist of two gravel pits, thus they are artificially created water areas. Since 1969, gravel mining has been taking place on the western side of the larger northern gravel pit. There are 13 islands in the southern part, where more than 80 species of birds nest. Once there were wetlands here, but they disappeared due to the regulation of the Morava River. The town of Gbely recently renovated beaches, parking areas, planted trees and shrubs, built showers, washrooms, and social facilities. Adamov is a district of the town of Gbely. The Adamov Lakes are a unique example of coexistence between nature and humans. There are few places where you can observe birdlife from such close proximity. For decades, humans and birds have been living side by side here.

The Adamov Lakes are among the most significant ornithological sites in Záhorie. They are an important migration stopover and resting place for geese. The lakes are part of the Morava Protected Bird Area. Almost half of the breeding population of wild geese (Anser anser) in Slovakia nests here. They stay here from February to July. The black-headed gull (Larus ridibundus) has the largest colony in Záhorie. The common tern (Sterna hirundo) also settles on islands without high vegetation. In March and April, the spring migration of ducks peaks here. The Eurasian coot (Fulica atra) is almost entirely black. The red-crested pochard (Netta rufina) considers the lakes one of the northernmost breeding sites. Other species include the great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus), the sand martin (Riparia riparia), the white wagtail (Motacilla alba), the white-tailed eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla), the northern pintail (Anas acuta), the mallard (Anas platyrhynchos), the smew (Mergus albellus), the common goldeneye (Bucephala clangula), the Eurasian hoopoe (Upupa epops), the grey heron (Ardea cinerea), the black-crowned night heron (Nycticorax nycticorax), the bearded reedling (Panurus biarmicus), the bluethroat (Luscinia svecica), the sandpipers, and the wagtails. In mid-November, large flocks of geese fly here. From the north, the greater white-fronted goose (Anser albifrons) and the bean goose (Anser fabalis) arrive. The northern lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) nests around the lakes.

In 2009, the town of Gbely built an eight-meter-high wooden lookout tower here. Locals call it ávéháčka,” meaning the Adamov bird lookout (infoglobe.sk). The lookout offers a very good view not only of bird colonies and the surrounding area but also, especially in the winter months, of the distant Little Carpathians, White Carpathians, and Pavlov Hills (Pálava) (ubytujemsa.sk). I go to the Adamov Lakes quite often, including for swimming. Sometimes I stop here on my way from Moravia. The buffet – refreshment facility, which I quickly grew fond of, is interesting. In summer, there are quite a few people here, but it’s still tolerable, and I haven’t had any parking problems yet (Peter Kaclík).

Zlepšenia v oblastiach ako informatika, biotechnológie, energetika a inžinierstvo prinášajú nové možnosti a efektívne riešenia problémov.

Komunikácia a informačné technológie (ICT) sú základom modernej spoločnosti. Mobilné telefóny, internet, softvérové aplikácie a ďalšie technologické nástroje umožňujú rýchlu a efektívnu výmenu informácií na globálnej úrovni. V oblasti vzdelávania, podnikania, zdravotníctva a verejnej správy poskytujú ICT neoceniteľné možnosti a zlepšenia. Solárne a veterné energie, jadrová technológia a technológie energetickej účinnosti prispievajú k zníženiu emisií skleníkových plynov a ochrane životného prostredia. Rozvoj dopravy a mobility je ďalším dôležitým aspektom techniky. Elektrické vozidlá, samo riadiace vozidlá, vysokorýchlostné železnice a ďalšie technologické inovácie zlepšujú efektívnosť, bezpečnosť a udržateľnosť dopravy. Biotechnológie, genetické technológie, telemedicína a inteligentné zdravotnícke systémy prispievajú k zlepšeniu zdravotnej starostlivosti a kvality života pacientov.

Non-military technology is often referred to as civilian technology. It encompasses a wide range of technical applications designed for various aspects of civilian life. From communication and information technologies to energy, transportation, and medicine. From the industrial revolution to the present, technology has undergone tremendous development and innovation. Improvements in areas such as computer science, biotechnology, energy, and engineering bring new possibilities and effective solutions to problems.

Communication and information technologies (ICT) are the foundation of modern society. Mobile phones, the internet, software applications, and other technological tools enable rapid and efficient exchange of information on a global scale. In the fields of education, business, healthcare, and public administration, ICT provides invaluable opportunities and improvements. With the shift away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy sources, energy technology is becoming a key component of sustainable development. Solar and wind energy, nuclear technology, and energy efficiency technologies contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment. The development of transportation and mobility is another important aspect of technology. Electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, high-speed railways, and other technological innovations improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of transportation.

In the field of medicine and healthcare, technology contributes to the development of diagnostic tools, treatment methods, and healthcare systems. Biotechnologies, genetic technologies, telemedicine, and intelligent healthcare systems contribute to improving healthcare and the quality of life for patients.

Hvar – známy ostrov v Chorvátsku

Hits: 5492

Hvar je najdlhším ostrovom v Chorvátsku. Jeho rozloha je 299.66 km2, pobrežná línia je dlhá 269.2 km. Podľa amerického The Traveller patrí medzi desať najkrajších turistických oblastí na svete (sucuraj-hvar.com).

Kamenné domy boli zväčša prízemné, strechy a rýny boli takisto kamenné. Vnútri bola veľká obytná miestnosť bez prepážok, v strede s ohniskom, bez komína a bez okien. Poschodové domy zámožnejších občanov mali obytnú miestnosť na poschodí, ku ktorému viedlo kamenné schodište. Táto miestnosť už mala komín. Iné hospodárske priestory spolu so studňou boli ohradené na dvore.

Hvar is the longest island in Croatia, covering an area of 299.66 km², with a coastline stretching 269.2 km. According to the American magazine The Traveller,” it is among the ten most beautiful tourist regions in the world. Approximately 11,500 people live there. Hvar is characterized by a pleasant Mediterranean climate, with mild winters, warm summers, and abundant sunshine. The highest recorded temperature, 37 °C, was noted in 1935. Known since antiquity for its strategic and maritime importance, as well as cultural and natural landmarks, Hvar boasts lavender fields, ancient olive groves, and vineyards in a unique harmony of human and natural elements. During the last ice age, the Adriatic Sea level was 96.4 meters lower than today. At that time, Hvar experienced extreme storms and winds from the interior, shaping its appearance. The northern coast in the western part is extremely rugged and often attracts sailors. In the past, substantial parts of the island were covered by pine forests (Pinus halepensis, P. nigra dalmatica). Hvar does not have surface watercourses. Hvar is characterized by a very high amount of sunshine. Among the most sought-after beaches are those on the Pakleni Islands, the island of Ščedro, and west of Zavala. Pakleni Islands, the Kabal Peninsula, Tatinja Bay, the islets of Zečevo, and Zala Luka Bay are popular among divers. In recent years, cycling routes have been established, some of which follow gravel roads, providing a glimpse of the more remote parts of the island.

Prehistoric findings from caves date back to the period of 35002500 BCE. In the first millennium BCE, Illyrians inhabited the island, constructing fortified settlements known as gradinas.” In 385 – 384 BCE, Greeks settled at the site of Stari Grad, founding Pharos. The later name of the island, Hvar, is derived from this Greek name. In the 3rd century BCE, the name Piteyeia” also appears. The Romans coveted the territory, and Illyrian Demetrius, an ally of the Illyrian queen Teuta, managed to control the area from present-day northern Dalmatia to Durres in present-day Albania in the third quarter of the 3rd century BCE. However, the Romans defeated Demetrius and Teuta. In the mid-1st century BCE, the Romans became masters of the entire Adriatic. Under Roman rule, the island was known as Pharia and Fara. In the 5th-6th century, the Ostrogoths threatened Hvar, and in the 7th century, the Slavs arrived. It was during this time that the name of the island changed from Fara to Hvar, with the Roman settlers using the name Quarra, later also Lesina and Liesena. The island later fell under Byzantine rule. In the 11th century, Hvar became part of the Croatian kingdom. From the 11th to the 19th century, the island was called Lesna or Lisna. In 1278, Hvar decided to ally with the Venetian Republic, which lasted more permanently from 1420. This status continued until the end of the 18th century, when the Venetian Republic ceased to exist. During this period, the economic and strategic importance of the island increased. From 1813 to 1918, Hvar was under Austrian administration. After 1918, Italy occupied the island for three years, but from 1921, the island became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, later Yugoslavia. Since 1992, it has been part of the Republic of Croatia.

Hvar is characterized by distinctly Mediterranean native vegetation. Pinus dalmatica grows on the highest mountain ridge of Hvar. Besides Hvar, it is found only in the highest parts of the islands of Brač and Korčula. Endemic species include Tamarix dalmatica, Centaurea ragusina, Rubus dalmatinus, Iris dalmatica. Opuntia Opuncia barbarica, Agave altissima, A. ingens, Rosmarinus officinalis, Lavandula vera, Salvia officinalis, Pithosporum tobira, Myrtus communis, Ceratonica siliqua, Quercus ilex, Arbutus unedo also thrive on the island. In addition to lavender, chamomile, fennel, and thyme are also collected on Hvar. Beekeeping, with a Roman tradition, is well-developed, with around 130 beekeepers having about 3000 hives. Hvar has preserved remarkable ancient folk architecture in places such as Humac, Malo Grablje, and Velo Grablje. Stone houses were mostly single-story, with stone roofs and gutters. Inside, there was a large living space without partitions, a central fireplace, no chimney, and no windows. Two-story houses of wealthier citizens had a living room upstairs, accessible by a stone staircase, which already had a fireplace. Other utility spaces, along with a well, were enclosed in the yard. The oldest type of building, called trimy,” identical to kažuny or bunje on the rest of the Adriatic coast, are small, low stone houses with a circular footprint, built in the open field with dry-stone construction. These were popular among the ancient Illyrians and served as shelters and tool storage. They continued to be built until the modern era.

Kr. Rimljani su bili gospodari cijelog Jadranskog mora (ihvar.cz).

Endemi otoka uključuju Tamarix dalmatica, Centaurea ragusina, Rubus dalmatinus, Iris dalmatica. Na otoku uspijeva i opuntia Opuncia barbarica, Agave altissima, A. ingens, Rosmarinus officinalis, Lavandula vera, Salvia officinalis, Pithosporum tobira, Myrtus communis, Ceratonica siliqua, Quercus ilex, Arbutus unedo (ihvar.cz).

Neusiedler See je známe jazero v Dolnom Rakúsku.

Už v roku 1927 bolo v Neusiedli am See kúpalisko. Ponúka rôzne možnosti rekreácie. Okrem iného surfovanie, jachting (neusiedlamsee.at). V rokoch 18111813 čiastočne a v 18671871 jazero úplne vyschlo (Reichwalder, Jablonský, 2003). Miesta a kúpanie a prístavy sú: Illmitz, Podersdorf am See, Weiden am See, Neusiedl am See, Jois, Breitenbrunn, Purbach am Neusiedler See, Oggau am Neusiedler See, Rust, Mörbisch am See v Rakúsku a Fertőrákos v Maďarsku. Prítok vody do jazera je z 80 % z podzemným prameňov. 20 % privádza rieka Wulka (wikipedia.sk).

Je domovom mnohých vzácnych zvierat a stoviek druhov vtáctva. Na rakúskej strane je oblasť rezerváciou biosféry Neziderske jazero – Seewinkel” (neusiedlamsee.at). V jazere žije okolo 30 druhov rýb a v ňom a v okolí hniezdi viac ako 300 druhov vtáctva (mojerakusko.sk). 140 druhov tu hniezdi (info-tour.info). Neziderské jazero patrí k najvýznamnejším oblastiam chráneného vtáctva v Európe. Nachádza sa tu viacero pozorovateľní (Alena Motyčková). Okolo celého jazera je vybudovaná sieť cyklotrás. Celá trasa okolo jazera má 132 km (cestovanie.sme.sk).

Neusiedler See is a well-known lake in Lower Austria, extending into Hungary in its southern part. It is a destination for many cycling trips, including those from Slovakia. Conditions for cycling are also created around the lake itself. Its Slovak name is Neziderské jazero.

It is also referred to as the Sea of Vienna and is a remnant of the Tethys. As early as 1927, there was a beach in Neusiedl am See. It offers various recreational opportunities, including surfing, yachting (neusiedlamsee.at). The Hungarian name for the lake is Fertö tó. Neusiedler See is a shallow, endorheic, slightly saline lake on the border of Austria and Hungary, with a maximum depth of 2 meters. Along with Lake Balaton, it is one of the only steppe lakes in Europe. Since 2001, Neusiedler See has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (wikipedia.sk).

Approximately 20 million years ago, the region experienced subsidence, giving rise to the Pannonian Basin. The subsided areas connected with the system of Tethys basins filled with seawater. After the sea level dropped about 11 million years ago, the Pannonian Basin became a saline brackish lake, often referred to as the Pannonian Lake. In 1811 – 1813 and 1867 – 1871, the lake partially or completely dried up (Reichwalder, Jablonský, 2003). The lake covers an area of about 315 km², with a length of 36 km and a width ranging from 6 to 12 km. The northern third is called Neusiedler Bucht, the narrower middle part is Illmitzer Seeenge, and the lower southern part is Silbesee. The lake is almost entirely surrounded by a reed belt, creating a unique environment. It freezes occasionally to the bottom in winter. Illmitz, Podersdorf am See, Weiden am See, Neusiedl am See, Jois, Breitenbrunn, Purbach am Neusiedler See, Oggau am Neusiedler See, Rust, Mörbisch am See in Austria, and Fertőrákos in Hungary are bathing and harbor locations. 80% of the water inflow into the lake comes from underground springs, while 20% is supplied by the Wulka River (wikipedia.sk).

It is home to many rare animals and hundreds of bird species. On the Austrian side, the area is a biosphere reserve called Neusiedler See – Seewinkel” (neusiedlamsee.at). Around 30 fish species inhabit the lake, and more than 300 bird species nest in and around it (mojerakusko.sk). It is home to 140 nesting species (info-tour.info). Neusiedler See is one of the most significant bird conservation areas in Europe, with several observation points (Alena Motyčková). A network of cycling trails is built around the entire lake, with a total distance of 132 km (cestovanie.sme.sk).

Stari Grad is characterized by narrow streets, and of course, the harbor, where history literally breathes in many places.

The main industries are tourism and, alongside that, winemaking. Vineyards stretch all the way to Jelsa and Vrboska. An exceptional historical landmark is the preservation of the so-called Greek ager – the division of agricultural land by immigrants after the Greek colonization of the island 2500 years ago (chorvatsko.cz).
