Dráž­ďa­ny, nemec­ky Dres­den sa nachá­dza­jú v juho­vý­chod­nom Nemec­ku nad Ústí nad Labem.

Dráž­ďa­ny, poľ­sky Drez­no (draz​da​ny​.org), sú hlav­ným mes­tom Sas­ka, spol­ko­vej repub­li­ky Nemec­ka. Na roz­lo­he 328 km2 žije viac ako 517 000 oby­va­te­ľov. Mes­to je roz­lo­hou štvr­tým naj­väč­ším veľ­ko­mes­tom Nemec­ka. Kedy­si to bola rybár­ska obec – lužic­ko­srb­ský názov Drež­ďa­ny ozna­čo­val ľudí bažín a luž­ných lesov, síd­lo markg­ró­fa, neskôr sa sta­li kúpeľ­nou a krá­ľov­skou rezi­den­ci­ou. Spo­lu s Zwic­kau, Chem­nit­zom, Lip­skom a Hal­le tvo­ria met­ro­po­lit­ný regi­ón sas­ké­ho tro­j­u­hol­ní­ka. Je ozna­čo­va­ná aj ako Polab­ská Flo­ren­cia (Wiki​pe​dia​.sk). Až 62 % plo­chy mes­ta je zele­ných, prí­pad­ne zales­ne­ných, čím pat­ria Dráž­ďa­ny k naj­ze­len­ším európ­skym mes­tám (dres​den​.de). Tvo­ria veľ­ký želez­nič­ný uzol (Wiki​pe​dia​.cz). Osob­nos­ti mes­ta: hudob­ný skla­da­teľ Carl Maria von Weber (Wiki​pe​dia​.cz).

V roku 116 exis­to­va­la na mies­tach dneš­ných Dráž­ďan, osa­da s latin­ským náz­vom Lupp­hur­dum (draz​da​ny​.org). Mes­to bolo zalo­že­né pôvod­ne ako slo­van­ské síd­lo zrej­me v 10. sto­ro­čí. Od 11. sto­ro­čia bolo cen­trom Meis­sen­ska. Prvá písom­ná zmien­ka je z roku 1206. Od roku 1485 je hlav­ným mes­tom Sas­ka. Od 13.2.1945 do 15.2.1945 boli Dráž­ďa­ny tak­mer kom­plet­ne zni­če­né letec­kým bom­bar­do­va­ním. V roku 2002 pos­tih­la mes­to tisíc­roč­ná povo­deň (Wiki​pe​dia​.sk). 

Kaž­do­roč­ne sem pri­chá­dza tak­mer 10 mili­ó­nov turis­tov, teší sa aj kon­gre­so­vej turis­ti­ke, mes­to je ino­vač­né a kul­túr­ne atrak­tív­ne (dres​den​.de). Zwin­ger je kle­not­ni­cou naj­cen­nej­ších ume­lec­kých zbie­rok Dráž­ďan a nád­her­ným die­lom baro­ko­vej archi­tek­tú­ry. Pôvod­ne bol výstav­ným palá­com sas­ké­ho kur­firs­ta Augus­ta Veľ­ké­ho, kto­rý sa chcel pri­rov­nať ku fran­cúz­ske­mu Ľudo­ví­to­vi XIV.-temu. Posta­ve­ný bol v rokoch 17101728. Dnes sa tu nachá­dza galé­ria sta­rých maj­strov – Gemäl­de­ga­le­rie Alte Meis­ter, napr. Rem­brand­ta, Ruben­sa, Tizia­na, Cana­let­ta, Six­tín­ska Madon­na od Raf­fa­e­la (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). Dráž­ďan­sku Sem­pe­ro­vu ope­ru pre­slá­vil aj Richard Wag­ner (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). Fürs­ten­zug je násten­ný obraz dlhý 102 met­rov, zlo­že­ný z asi 25 tisíc por­ce­lá­no­vých čas­tí, kto­rý sa nachá­dza v Augus­tus Stras­se. Jeho auto­rom je Wil­helm Walt­her (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz).

Dres­den, in Polish Drez­no (draz​da​ny​.org), ser­ves as the capi­tal city of Saxo­ny, a fede­ral sta­te of Ger­ma­ny. In the year 116, the­re was a sett­le­ment named Lupp­hur­dum in the present-​day Dres­den area (draz​da​ny​.org). The city was ori­gi­nal­ly foun­ded as a Sla­vic sett­le­ment, like­ly in the 10th cen­tu­ry. From the 11th cen­tu­ry, it beca­me the cen­ter of the Mar­gra­via­te of Meis­sen. The first writ­ten men­ti­on dates back to 1206, and sin­ce 1485, it has been the capi­tal of Saxo­ny. From Feb­ru­ary 13, 1945, to Feb­ru­ary 15, 1945, Dres­den was near­ly com­ple­te­ly des­tro­y­ed by aerial bom­bard­ment. In 2002, the city faced a mil­len­nium flo­od (Wiki​pe​dia​.sk).

Dres­den att­racts near­ly 10 mil­li­on tou­rists annu­al­ly and is a hub for con­gress tou­rism. The city is inno­va­ti­ve and cul­tu­ral­ly att­rac­ti­ve (dres​den​.de). Today, it hou­ses the Old Mas­ters Gal­le­ry – Gemäl­de­ga­le­rie Alte Meis­ter, fea­tu­ring works by artists like Rem­brandt, Rubens, Titian, Cana­let­to, and Rap­ha­e­l’s Sis­ti­ne Madon­na (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). Richard Wag­ner also gai­ned fame for the Sem­pe­ro­per in Dres­den (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). The Fürs­ten­zug is a 102-​meter-​long mural com­po­sed of app­ro­xi­ma­te­ly 25,000 por­ce­lain tiles, loca­ted in Augus­tuss­tras­se. It was cre­a­ted by Wil­helm Walt­her (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz).

Der Zwin­ger ist ein Juwel mit den wer­tvolls­ten Kunst­samm­lun­gen Dres­dens und ein wun­ders­chönes Beis­piel baroc­ker Archi­tek­tur. Urs­prün­glich war es ein Auss­tel­lungs­pa­last des säch­sis­chen Kur­fürs­ten August des Star­ken, der sich mit Ludwig XIV. von Fran­kre­ich verg­le­i­chen woll­te. Er wur­de in den Jah­ren 1710 bis 1728 erbaut. Heute beher­bergt er die Gale­rie Alte Meis­ter mit Wer­ken von Künst­lern wie Rem­brandt, Rubens, Tizian, Cana­let­to und der Six­ti­nis­chen Madon­na von Raf­fa­el (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). Die Sem­pe­ro­per Dres­den wur­de auch durch Richard Wag­ner berühmt (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz). Der Fürs­ten­zug ist ein 102 Meter lan­ges Wand­ge­mäl­de aus etwa 25.000 Por­zel­lan­te­i­len und befin­det sich in der Augus­tuss­tra­ße. Der Autor ist Wil­helm Walt­her (mes​tas​ve​ta​.cz).
